We came here thinking it was still a weatherspoons but it is not, it's had a pint job but all the same old furniture and damaged toilets clearly not a improvement the, We only popped in as we still had 1 hour and 20 mins parking, plenty of time for a beer n burger, not the case however, it's now table service only and took 20 minutes to get served, then 20 minutes after that my wife had to go and ask for the drinks only to hear a member of staff in the background shout "we're busy what does she f###### expect" not the best tbh, Then time started ticking and our food was not arriving nor was anybody else's food who had been served before us, when it got to the point that we had been there for over 1 hour and only had 15mins on the parking, I went up to pay for drink the and cancel the food, the manager who canciled my order was okay however their was a woman in the little room at the end of the bar wavering her writs around shouted "what the f### do they expect?, Well to clear things up for that member of staff who clearly can't control her emotions and clearly should not be employed to serve in a restaurant, I'm not asking for the world when I say, I'd like a drink in my had within 40 minutes of entering an establishment and I'd like my burger within 1 hour and I'd really like to not hear foul language and insults shouted towards me while at the bar by someone who can't control their emotions at work.

Fantastic manager , catered to our every needs, even made our table of 10 into a festive table, including crackers. Took our orders at the table and made us all feel special, ex Wilko staff members all had a good.time. Thankyou for the shots and your brilliant hospitality. Have a wonderful Xmas 🎄

Lovely place new manager brill he made us feel very welcome and made it a afternoon drink and food feel special .it made us all happy after the last month's of being made redundant from Wilko thankyou

I ordered a drink that did not come with ice or lemon when I asked for it.I also ordered mushy peas with my fish and chips but came with normal peas.

Another great visit, on a Friday for a change. I had fish and chips, my wife scampi and chips with a side order of 12 onion rings. With this we had 2 pints of Stella all for £19.35. It was already cheap until we saw that after 2.00 you get a bit more knocked off. Good cheap beer as well as good cheap food.

Visited earlier than we normally would on a Saturday afternoon. It was busier than usual with more people having food than when we usually go in. I ordered the empire state burger and my wife a chicken burger. It was a longer wait than usual through how busy they were. When they came mine seemed small and not tall. But my wife's was taller than it should have been. My burger should have had 4 burgers on it. Then I noticed that her chicken burger had beef burgers on. She had 2 of my burgers with her chicken burger. Surely who was putting the burgers together would have noticed that they were putting beef burgers on top of a chicken burger. Surely realising it isn't right. Because of being busy it wasn't as nice as usual. I know it's cheap and cheerful in a wetherspoons pub but surely they should get that right.

A birthday treat from my son. He ordered with the app. Food and drink arrived swiftly. Me and the wife had scampi and chips with onion rings, my son had the empire state burger also with onion rings. All food was good as it always seems to be for us here. The only way you can fault this pub is the tables don't get plates etc cleared and cleaned as often as they should. But there are far worse wetherspoons for cleans tables etc.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon before a night out. We go here a couple of times a month and we've never had a bad meal. It's good wetherspoons food. This time was no different apart from after we'd left my wife told me her knife had the previous users meal over it and showed me a pic of it. You expect better at wetherspoons I'll think twice and check the cutlery now. This is disgusting do the staff check what they are sending out.

called in on a Saturday afternoon and the pub was not too busy. I ordered BBQ chicken Melt but was disappointed with it as the chicken was overcooked and dry.

Having asked on a weekly basis why the disabled toilet had not been cleaned & told by the manager that they are cleaned daily.. They are disgusting… as a carer for a disabled friend I will be writing to head office.. One week later the toilet area was exactly the same with fungus growing out of the sink..! Shame on you Weatherspoons..!

Myself and 2 friends came here for a meal before going to see a show across the road at the theatre. We arrived in plenty of time as we thought it would possibly be busy with it being valentines day aswell. We managed to get a table and ordered our food on the app, which never mentioned any wait times for food. We had meals that included drinks. The drinks came but after over an hour we still had no food. And drank our drinks, we went to see how long the food would be as we would not have time to eat it if it was much longer. To be told by a young lad, it will get to us when it gets there. We cancelled order because another lady behind the bar told us the food hadn't even been started. We got our refund but they still had the nerve to charge for the drinks that should have been part of the food order. I do not blame the staff that was working that night as apparently they only had 2 cooks and 3 front of house. Very poor organisation for a busy night. There were alot of complaints being over heard in the theatre as there was quite alot of people had the same idea, to have a nice meal before the show. In my opinion, they should be checking when shows are on and also being valentines day and they should plan ahead and be prepared with full staff available. Very annoyed that we were charged for drinks too, after all the inconvenience caused.

Visited on valentines day with my wife. They had an offer of 2 mains, 2 puddings and 2 drinks for £18. I had hunters chicken with chips and my wife had a steak with chips. I couldn't fault mine. My wife said her steak was a bit grizzly on the edges, but was fine. We both had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. It was very nice. We understand that you don't go to a Wetherspoon pub for fine dining. But if you want decent food at a very good price then you can't it here. Staff were nice enough and the service good. One problem is the toilets are upstairs. We've been here plenty of times and never had a bad meal.

After a bracing walk in nearby Sherwood Forest with this being the nearest Wetherspoon establishment it was ideal for my friend and I to satisfy our thirst and hunger at somewhere which neither of us had visited before so it is good to report that we weren't disappointed. The service and comfort of the pub was first class though I have to say that my Ultimate Burger wasn't the best I've ever tasted especially as the Onion Rings that accompanied it were virtually inedible but the you usually get what you pay for and at the reasonable prices charged there is surely no cause for complaint. A nice touch was that a charming waitress asked if everything was in order with our food and drinks while I have to give special praise to my refreshing glass of lime soda which was first class. All in all, a good dining experience.

Visited here with the family for lunch. The place was packed but a kind polite waitress found us a table. We ordered our food and drinks from our table and they came promptly. Food was nice enough typical pub grub and a good choice of drinks on offer at cheap prices. Place was very busy and the staff rushed but they where pleasant and friendly. Worth a visit and will not break the bank.

The steak was so rare, they were out of stock for three days. Advertised 'Steaks available all day every day'.... nope, no steaks!! Very impressed by the app and ability to order at the table. Very fast delivery. Food was top notch for the money.

Had a lovely pub lunch here, food was good as always and decent prices. Staff were friendly and polite but could of done with more staff as they was busy and struggling to keep up with taking people's orders who wasn't using the app and serve drinks to tables etc. Covid-19 procedures in place which people were abiding by.

As per the title...Having visited many Wetherspoons,this one didn't disappoint.Food was quickly served, and it was well cooked and presented.Usual great value price. What's not to like?

Shockingly flat beer. Overheard bar staff say" only the drunks are buying it, all the rest have more sense". Avoid or waste your money!

I ordered a a lamb shank at £10.25 it was supposed to include root veg... I got 3 slices of carrot, each cooked for different durations.. 1 soggy, one crunchy and one nearly frozen.I know lamb should be pink in the middle, but mine was not "rare" it was "raw".I was not offered any condiments or cutlery and had to wander around to find some.2 doors away there is a better place and i wish I'd gone there.Disgrace to weatherspoons

Upon meeting friends for lunch we were aware of a gent under the influence sitting near to us consuming cans of Carling under the table. He was soon joined by a woman clearly under the influence. We ordered food and drinks whilst they were very vocal with one another. Whilst wating the guy came over and threatened us saying we should leave before his girlfriend 'had' us. We informed staff.Next he returned again asking us to tell his girlfriend that we had been told and we should leave before she attacked us. He was barely able to stand. Staff acknowledged but refused to ask the threatening, drunken couple to leave even though there were many witnesses. We left the premises to avoid further confrontation. Very disappointed.

We have visited this pub on a weekly basis for over 2 years.Recently more tables have been crammed in making dining with a family almost impossible. You cannot get a pushchair or wheelchair around the tables or set up a high chair without disturbing an adjacent table.Today I had to get up 3 times during my meal to let a pushchair through.Staff are disinterested by the plight of families and the disabled.Surely this is contrary to accessibility laws!Please get this sorted so visitors can have a nice atmosphere to eat and drink in again.

Staff ignore and chat amongst themselves whilst serving you.Playground kids running round whilst parents drink.

love the steak nights. Not had a bad meal here yet and been eating here for atleast 7 years. Can be very busy around midday though. I think they need a seperate area for families.

We came for a burgers and a pint 6 of us was lovely. A bit loud but only because it was busy nice staff friendly really enjoyed it

Arrived at 7pm on a friday night with Grandson. Very busy and a slightly longer wait that I would be happy with. But I had backache and had been birdwatching for 2 hours with the boy. Food arrived quite quickly and was faultless. There were a few village idiots in but it was payday. All in all good quality food and dring for a very reasonable price.

It was a Tuesday morning when we decided to come out of the icy wind for drinks.It was very busy, all the empty tables looked grubby, and the one we sat at had crumbs and sticky stuff on the table. The waitress was walking around clearing plates, but not wiping tables and coughing everywhere without covering her mouth. We left after our drinks, put off from ordering food.

Visited here last Friday night and I wouldn’t be eating here again the food came out cold and now I have food poisoning 🤢 worst experience of my life.

We visited this before going to the theatre for a meal and was pleasantly surprised how good it was for a Friday evening.

On arrival we asked for mushroom benedict but were told they had no poached eggs. So we ordered 2 breakfasts (one with no bacon) and both breakfast arrived with eggs ???? And bacon. The eggs were like rubber something you’d get from macdonalds, the toast was just warm bread, the only thing edible was the beans. Really disappointed it used to be a good Wetherspoons to visit but it has really gone done hill.

The quinoa salad is great and the skinny steak brilliant! A free drink with meal a quality wine-I also learnt from the friendly bar staff how to pronounce the word quinoa:'keen-wa!'! Recommended!

Laura was the young lady that served me (twice) & i had to congratulate her & the staff for their service & immaculately clean glasses also the Abott ale was outstanding so very well looked after. We just had a snack on this visit but found the service & quality was excellent so thanks again Laura & hope your area manager will show some recognition of how well you run this place.

The pub is attractive inside although moderately clean at best. The sofa chairs are extremely comfy and I felt peaceful and relaxed. The meal deals took some time to understand because not all information cards were put onto the tables.

My partner and I have ordered the skinny steak and quinoa salad since 2006-but standards have slipped think armageddon!!!

Came in for drinks and meal with 3 friends we were meeting others later to eat. ordered a drink and was given change from a fiver not £10. I told the barman, who got the manager.

Brilliant selection of food and quality. Very good value for money. It's become our favorite place to eat in Mansfield while our stay there.

As regular visitors to this branch of Wetherspoons it meets expectations and is the best of the 3 in Mansfield for food. We went last Thursday when the football was on (not the purpose of our visit), but found a table that was not in the main area to be disturbed, yet could see a TV to keep up-to-date with the score if wanted. Quick and friendly service.

Went here for drinks. Quite busy and didn’t have to wait too long to be served. Good value for money. Would of given 5* but air con so cold. We asked them to turn it down and it did warm up a bit

I booked the "room" for my leaving do. I also ordered a cold buffet. I and my friends were all amazed by the choice and quantity provided. The service provided by the staff during the evening was just right. Organising it was so easy, too.

Your standard sort of Weatherspoons pub, but with it's locality near the Mansfield Palace theatre there are often times when you struggle to get served at the bar, they seem to be trying to push everyone to use the order by app as these seem to be serviced fairly quickly. I have a few times stood waiting to be served for 10 to 15 minutes because there is only 1 staff member covering a bar that is probably 30 meters long.

We had drove 2 hours to get here. We were staying overnight for a funeral at a nearby hotel. Feeling a little peckish we popped in for a lite bite.

I visited the Widow Frost in Mansfield,for a business meeting and due to my training as a highly trained Fire and health and safety officer previously with the MOD,I noticed that one of the fire exits was partially blocked.I immediately reported this to management and,showed my business card,staff totally ignored me,blatantly refused to offer names and was ultimately insulted with approx 4 staff and 6 customers present.I ultimately got a fellow member to confirm the facts,that there are no fire extinguishers present in the building,which should be placed,especially near fire exits My colleague,was very concerned and informed me that there could be hundreds of people,unable to escape in the event of a fire This situation happened only recently in Nottingham,when reportedly the train station was targeted for arson.I intended to call Witherspoon head office,but staff,were unable to supply details,irrespective of me being adamant,that I was also a mystery shopper I intend to contact head office,local council building safety and local fire authority I believe as does my colleague,that this premise could be a fire incident,waiting to happen,please be fully aware,as you could be at serious risk,should a fire happen in the building It didn't help with young inexperienced staff,with horseplay and canoodling behind the bar and kitchen area,in view of the public Not exactly the way to run a business,especially when staff resent valid concerns,BEWARE,or take the risk.

Really friendly atmosphere in here, friendly bar staff, the food was also very good & tasty. Definitely worth a visit 👍

A standard wetherspoons pub with the usual great value food and beers. We had the steak and kidney pudding which were nice to eat and well done. Service levels are good.

Visited on Saturday 14th October, looking forward to trying ' 3 ales for the price of a pint (third of a pint in each glass), as advertised in your Real Ale Festival leaflet.

Recently visited with my elderly mother, nipped in for a spot of lunch after shopping. Basic menu, I decided to treat myself to a burger (one of the things on the menu that isn't microwaved) my mother had fish and chips. Once we had waited for half an hour (in an empty pub) the meal arrived. My mother's was stone cold and dripping in grease, my burger was pink in the middle. After explaining this to a female manager she sighed rolled her eyes and said, 'Right I suppose you're after a fresh one then' no apology no manners. I then heard a group of people bragging about how they had been served under age. One said it was their 17th birthday and to be fair they looked about 15. Don't understand why the standards of this pub has dropped so far. It's a real shame. Then again when she manager has such an attitude there's no wonder. I mentioned the state of the toilets aswel and she just shrugged her shoulders. Won't be back!!

Well up to Wetherspoons standards. The usual good choice of drinks and varied well priced menu. Good, attentive floor staff and served at the bar promptly too. Good atmosphere, well worth a visit

Ambiente agradable. El personal era amable y servicial. Los precios son razonables. Informaron de que podría haber un doble extra de £1, cosa que hicimos.

Cuando pregunté a decirle al chef que los filetes estaban gristly él nunca vino cuando le impone de nuevo dijo el chef había dicho que era el corte de carne y no podrían hacer nada, una falta de calidad del personal! Este es un lugar para ninguno de regreso.

Went here for breakfast. A table of ladies were knocking back the pints, at 9.45am! What ridiculous laws allow people to get drunk at breakfast? This Wetherspoons is a lot more pub like than the other Wetherspoons around the corner. Breakfast is very cheap. We were told they had no bagels, so we just had drinks. I had a hot chocolate, possibly the worst I have ever had the misfortune of trying. When we were almost finished, the server came and told us that 'some bagels had been found.' Found where, I don't know, so we passed. If you want to sit in a typical old style pub, go to the Widow Frost. If you want somewhere a bit more open, and nicer, go to the Stag and Pheasant around the corner.

Lovely meal, but wasn't so keen on the atmosphere - unfortunately we were sitting next to a table of loud, foul-mouthed older men. Just unfortunate, I guess, although I'm very glad we didn't have children with us. The place felt a bit unloved, but certainly can't fault the food.

We chose Widow Frost predominantly due to having children with us and value for money As a vegan I know there is a choice on the menu of a curry, another reason to choose this pub. Service was efficient and staff polite.High chairs are provided. The food was generally good value for money and although the portion sizes were not large the food tasted nice

Had no idea £5.99 included a drink! Kronenbourg too rather than a drab insipid beer. Fab value and a pretty good curry - everything is relative and in the grand scheme of things. Warm plates and slightly less cooking on the naan would have made it better. Certainly not the same as going to some indian restaurants but ....

Went for a dinner as me and my mum are fans of the wetherspoons chain. This was the worst wetherspoons we have been to with poor staff, a long queue and creepy men staring at you.

I have been to the widow frost several times while visiting the area. Like other whetherspoons, you always know what to expect. They were out of the lasagna two people in my party wanted on our most recent visit, but I was grateful they were able to serve my apple crumble with the custard on the side.

at the far end of mansfields town centre this pub dosent get to busy but serves nice food for those on a budget. a good place to rest your feet with a drink and a meal after shopping.

Sometimes I give the places I go to downbeat and often scathing reviews because I believed at the time that they deserved it. I have to admit I did one of such ire a long while ago for this one. But if quick to be critical, can also be quick to celebrate too.And that's because of late, we've started going back in here again. Have been for a few weeks now to be fair, and can honestly say that on each occasion the service and quality have been consistently very good indeed. Friendly bar staff who remember your choice after just a few visits. That doesn't even happen often at my local Spoons and I've been going to the former cinema in Sutton for years now.Good quality, well maintained beers at a reasonable price and all in all a pleasant ambience to go with it too. So much so that we've now made it our regular meeting place and staging post when we are in town for the shopping, the theatre or the footy. As, it would appear, would the broad spectrum of punters who also use it. A recommendation in itself.It always seem to be busy when we go there but not that busy that it's verging on uncomfortable - you can generally find a table or a corner somewhere. Serving is generally prompt too, might be a short wait sometimes and they don't operate the ghastly queueing up mechanism that some establishments do. No need to with grown up pub-savvy patient customers and competent bar staff who can actually keep tabs on who needs serving next. So in summary, would recommend it and have never had a problem whatsoever of late. Thanks to all concerned and long may it continue!

We went their for a cup of coffee which is very nice. The staff were helpful and polite which is very welcoming.

Always cheerful and happy the staff are remarkably kind and the customers are always having a laugh . Tables are neatly set .

Never had a problem inside, staff usually helpful and pleasant. They are hugely let down by the door staff.On an evening out during the festive period, I witnessed a verbal altercation between a woman and 3 door staff. After each side talked to the police, the woman walked away from the situation but remained close by, awaiting a taxi. Quite inebriated, she slumped on the floor with her mobile in hand whilst she waited. One member of the door staff who was involved in the squabble proceeded to walk up to her with his phone in hand set to camera and took a video or photograph of her whilst saying "Look at this sl-g" and such like. She had consumed too much, but that does not give someone who is meant to be in a position of trust, to take advantage of her vulnerability for their amusement. Due to this, I have made a decision to NOT visit this pub anymore. Door staff are supposed to keep patrons safe. Not ridicule and take the mickey out of them in a demeaning way as this.

A very good breakfast indeed. I am fussy about eating sausages because I don't like grissle but they serve good food, & the toast is yummy. Good coffee too & a bargain at 99p for a refillable cup!

Ideal place to start out if your looking for a quiet drink to get started. No music playing but still has a great aptmosphere! Food seems to be typical weatherspoons, nothing special but not terrible. Would definatley recommend going here for drinks in the evening!

We decided to call here for a meal before going to the theatre , we both had the small mixed grill it was sooo nice , I like how there was 4 meats and didn't fill the plate with chips . Although it was very busy we were only kept waiting approx 15 mins . Staff were attentive and friendly . Will certainly be returning .

My other half and myself used to live coming here but the past 3 times we have been extremely disappointed. We have just had he worse meal yet, I asked for a steak medium-well due to being heavily pregnant, it came very pink but only half was edible anyway due to it being pretty much fat, the peas didn't even taste cooked (how hard is it to cook peas?). My partner had a burger and that was also pink! How can you send out a under cooked burger? Do the chefs not use probes to check if the food is cooked? His plate also had curry left on it from the last meal served on it! As he tried to complain to the waitress she ignored his attempt and just walked off. No one came to check the meals had been ok!!! Oh and the meals didn't even get cleared away for a while because the waitress appeared to avoid us knowing we were unhappy! Will not be giving this place another chance!

went to this resaurant for first time today with one of my grandaughters . the mealwas nicely cooked and very tasty i would recommend it to anyone it was reasonably priced too

Often visit Widow Frost with my parents for "steak Tuesday" which is normally pretty good. For the price the steaks are decent. Staff are happy to help although can be short staffed at times.

Always have lunch here most Tuesdays and the staff are always friendly and welcoming but today it was so bad the barman served everyone but me even though I had been queuing for 10 mins . He seemed to be serving his friends b4 he served me . I had to ask for the table to be cleaned n when the food came it was cold ... the young girl tried to resolve the problem and apologised but after an hour I just wanted to go ... it was the worst experience I have had in a Wetherspoon public house !!!!!!

After a quite exceptional meal at WS in Norwich last week, my wife and I decided to have lunch at the widow frost In Mansfield. As my wife's doombar and steak pie was lovely In Norfolk I decided to try it instead of my normal choice of steak. The item looked fine, although I did notice the small potions of chips and peas, however inside the pie was dreadful. Fatty gooey meat, absolutely horrible. I left the inside uneaten, the pastry was ok, nice texture 100% better than what lived inside. Cold chips and a dirty table finished off an unimpressive effort. God knows what sort of animal the meat had previously existed as, but I fear it may not have been introduced to any bovine family, as steak it certainly wasn't.

My fiancee and I visited for a `skinny `steak, which was OK for sirloin, but the waitress brought out dessert half way thru our main course, then blamed us , saying we should have ordered the dessert at the same time as we ordered main course at the bar.But been there before and ordered dessert at same time as main course, and the waitress always brings the dessert out too early, before we had finished main course.So we found the waitress on this day, 25/09/16 very rude, complaining bitterly to us saying she would take the dessert back to the kitchen `just this once` but in future we must order our dessert at the bar at the same time as our main course, I don`t recall the waitress`s name, but she was very bad tempered and seemed to be taking her bad mood out on us.I then had to go to the bar and request our dessert, which she brought back to our table at the correct time.So as we have been going there for about 10 years, and recently twice a week, we were very disappointed with the surly attitude of most of the staff, only the barmaid who took my order seemed cheerful to serve us, but even so, she did not bother to enquire if we wanted a dessert.Also they did not bother to come round and ask if our meal was ok.Actually the `skinny` sirloin steak we both had, was a bit fatty, and the plates were COLD!

Usual Wetherspoons, excellent pint of Broadside, the chilli was disappointing as it was not v tasty and a small portion! Overall just OK but at least it was open and lively and serving food after 9.

We often go to this pub for a quick meal. Prices are very good and the food is surprisingly ok for the price. The special curries ( manager specials) are great value and I have never had a bad one. That alongside good reasonable drink prices make it value for money.

Have eaten here on a regular basis. I love coming on certain nights were you have offers on. Lovely food and it all comes out at the same time.

Went in here once not bothered about going in again! Thought it was very dull and dismal to be honest. Tables were not cleaned straight away, carpets had food on the floor. Prefer the Loyds(Stag and Pheasant) . The atmosphere was alot better here. No atmosphere in the Widow Frost.

My wife and I were in Mansfield to watch our daughter perform at the Palace theatre. We tend to eat at Weatherspoons as you know what to expect: decent food, a good selection of drinks as fair prices. The Widow Frost was no exception, ideally located just across the road from the theatre, it's not the smartest Weatherspoons I've been in but more importantly the food was good and the staff very efficient, would definitely use again.

Stopped for a late lunch and found this Wetherspoons close to the centre of Mansfield, It was still very busy but with lots of tables there was plenty of room. Unfortunately they had run out of pasta which was disappointing so we decided on the Tandoori Wrap Meal Deal that included a drink. This didn't take long to arrive and service was good. and tasted great. One of the best wraps we have had at a Wetherspoons. Always a good menu selection and good value.

Come in here often for a quiet pint in the evenings. The bar staff are always very friendly and chatty. Prices are great and the beer is great! Would recommend!

Last night our party of 18 visited the Widow Frost for our annual friends and family Christmas get together, although the venue was very busy by the time we arrived Laura, Jade & James could have not been more friendly and helpful throughout, we frequent the place on a regular basis but the service we received this time was second to non, too many people are quick to complain when things go wrong but far less put pen to paper when things have been perfect.Well Done Wetherspoons Widow Frost and especially Laura, Jade & James you were absolutely perfect and made our Party one of the best yet, needless to say the food and refreshments were perfect as always.Many thanks from the Reynolds party of 18Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you all

Just popped in for a coffee and bacon sandwich after I dropped the wife off for work . Overall I was pleasantly surprised the staff were "spot on" and I was served within 5 mins . The decor of the restaurant/pub although needs some investment . For example when you go to a wetherspoons in London its quality throughout get some money spent in these Northern towns please . The chairs and tables need a good sorting out for starters then look to the rest . You seem to have good staff - Support them

Had Rolled turkey breast with cranberry sauce, gravy, Brussel sprouts, carrots, peas, Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes. Very nice and tasty. Tables well set out with cutlery and Christmas crackers. Selection of sweets, I had Christmas pudding and custard, also very nice. A bit slow between courses.

A lovely friendly pub , we took advantage of their Christmas offer of Christmas lunch and a drink for only £5.99 ! The food was lovely ,plenty of it and nicely cooked also piping hot ! A pint of Tuborg to wash it all down and finish the lunch off nicely !!!

Meeting place for friends to enjoy a girls night out, really nice place , friendly staff good atmosphere , just remember not to stand in from of the big TV screen when England's playing.

This is a great family meal out. The food is absolutely stunning and the meat such as beef, chicken etc are cooked perfectly. The staff there are so friendly and they even ask how the meal was, which i thought was great. If you are planning on going out for something to eat, i would definitely recommened it here.

We visit this pub for the mixed grill on steak club Tuesday whenever we are in town Yet again the food was hot and tasty the Thatchers Gold was cold and tasty and staff as always friendly and pleasant. The staff walk around checking tables and making sure everywhere is tidy and clean. They work very hard but always smile and we have noticed they make time to talk to the elderly customers and regulars We have been to much more expensive places and not enjoyed our meal or had surly staff who never smile. They have got it spot on here

Good pub for a few reasons. Cheap beer, good food at great value for money and good on a night out in town. Toilets on first floor so watch the stairs after you have had some drinks!! Staff generally friendly, especially Zoe, who is always excellent and very easy on the eye

Love the choices of food that wetherspoons offer. The staff are always helpful. Particularly Nathan who always ensures that he meets the needs of my fussy partner and always manages to put a smile on his face !

We go to Wetherspoons once a week for breakfast, not usually htis one however the food was just as nice and the service just as quick and friendly. Will definitley be back!
