Tesco Cafe in Mansfield

Atmosphere not rated highly being in Tesco! But depending on who serves you it’s actually really nice. Service is everything no matter where you go and always appreciated.

not to happy with my order today, normally its okay an tastes nice but this time the food was cold didn't seem like everything was cooked right

Had the smallest jacket potato Iv ever seen looked lost in the dish had tuna and spring onion was freezing and 1 small piece of onion then finished off with dry and curly old salad leaves and half of cherry tomatoe my wife had a hot wrap once again cold and hard and just overloaded with bbq sauce and hard chicken that was well over cooked and even though was quite still waited nearly half hour staff friendly but definitely won’t be wasting any more of my money there again the manager wants to have a good look at what is going out not good to be fair sorry for being honest

We come here once or twice a month for a cheap easy breakfast. And it is cheap, you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere that was better priced, and for the price the food is definitely good enough. The service is always friendly too.

It’s not good enough when a main item is missing from the order to just refund. I want the missing item delivered asap. Not half a dinner and a refund. It definitely puts me off ordering again in future. The main point of ordering is to get a dinner; not a refund.

Everything looked undercooked, bacon was still pale, sausages not even browned on one side. Absolutely disgusted.

Amber is the best BARISTA in The Cafe in TESCO. A 'bubbly' personality and always greets customers, including me with a smile and friendly banter.

blacking out the windows 4 days ago is not realistically good idea in the cafe. The atmosphere was great going in ordering and chatting to the locals and staff. Now it feels closterphobic dark with no natural light coming in which makes people feel uncomfortable, not wanting to visit. The staff are not happy as they are loosing customers. I will not be visiting as often now because of the windows being blacked out which gives me headaches due to false lighting. HOPEFULLY this may make you see sence and remove the covering to let in the natural light and give the customers the view back.

The food I've eaten so far is up to their usual high standard.

I came here this morning and ordered a sausage cob and a latte. The area was clean and fresh, and pleasant to sit in. The latte was actually good, however, as I picked up the cob I could feel it was hard and stale and started to fall apart. I took one bite and the sausage had the most foul taste and smell that I spat it back out and left it. I honestly wouldn't feed that to a dog. What's wrong with quality these days! Jeeez.. £7 down the hole. Last time I come here. Edit: Nice purple haired lady who collected my tray saw I hadn't eaten it and gave me a refund for the cob, which was nice of her. It's a shame because with better quality food, this could be a real good place. I hate to leave negative reviews (I'm sorry) :( but I hope this honest feedback leads to improvements in the cafe.

Lovely menu, not just your basic cafe. Reasonably priced and convenient.

Very nice! I wasn't a fan of the sausages but that's just a preference thing, I'm sure others would have found them delicious! It didn't ruin it for me though. :) also I would love for the option for smaller/cut mushrooms as sticking the whole mushroom head onto my bap made it even bigger to eat. Very good! Thank you!

Wonderful service cafe was very clean and staff were attentive and polite. Visited with my daughter and we would visit again as not visited since it has been refurbished.

Sarah and the other staff made the meal a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, nicely cooked and well presented. We also got what we asked for, not like some other places where you get what they want you to have. Over all excellent!!!!!!!

I ordered two breakfast wraps but only one was delivered. I have sought a refund for the missing item. My previous order through Just Eat was even worse. A different outlet delivered the wrong order to my house. I rejected it then found it extremely difficult to get a refund. This is no way to encourage people to use Just Eat.

Did not receive egg or extra mushroom in breakfast.

Nice meal, friendly staff. Food arrived shortly after ordering and was nice and hot. Very busy and staff worked really hard but could do with more staff to help!

Don't order a drink as it isn't secure. This is the 2nd time my order was ruined by not securing the drinks

Food was cold, original delivery time was delayed, driver went well off route with my food and by the time it arrived it was cold

Didn't deliver my daughters mango smoothie, quite disappointing as that was all she had ordered so ended up with nothing.

Service was great but this is the second time in a few days I have made an order and items have been left out. This time the two eggs I orders and paid for were not added. I won’t order via just eat next time. The food and customer service is amazing in the cafe so I guess that I’ll be going to the cafe from now on.

Unfortunately my food arrived incomplete with the both rocw boxes missing the salad. Last time I tried to ring the restaurant and I spent ages on the phone trying to get to the correct team. So decided not to ring this time as currently on my break. However, the part of the food I did arrive tasted great bit disappointed as did not get all I ordered for.

I wouldn't order this again. Really poor. Cold and not value for money at all. £19.50 for two sausages two bacon two eggs two slice of floppy toast four hash browns and two pots of beans. Shocking.

I was shocked to be told by the driver that any notes that I added to my order, when placing it, are just for the driver...... Incredible. I had asked for the fried eggs to be well done on both sides and they weren't. As a result a lot of the yolk from one egg was wasted as it had run over the wrapper around one of the ultimate breakfast baps. Someone at the Cafe would have been able to see the notes as the receipt (complete with my notes) was attached to one of the bags that came with the order. I have placed orders via Just Eat for other places and asked for meats to be well done and the restaurants have complied. Clearly some people cannot, or will not, do their jobs properly. AMPLE REASON FOR ME TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT WITH JUST EAT. Please pass my message on to all concerned.

Apart from the friendly staff I would not return. Had a meal today and the portion sizes were ridiculous. A single layer of Mac cheese on the bottom. Of the dish, two salad leaves and a cherry tomato cut in half, missing garlic bread. My grandaughter could of eaten more. Positive, it was tasty although my mum disagreed. Nice latte. The makeover is nice but food not worth the effort.

A good place for coffee and cake or breakfast. Staff friendly and it is safe. I often pop in if I am shopping in the store.

Foods not that good good and a tad expensive.

Tesco Cafe is nice and standard with lots of seating areas and the food is okay for the price. The turkey special panni was delicious and was presented in a nice way and hot. The cafe sells quite a few selection of hot foods and drinks as well as a selection of fruit, drinks that you would get from the lunch aisle for food to go. My chocolate salted caramel brownie dessert was also very delicious, however I would of loved to have some cream or custard as an option. Overall experience was okay and I would go back again for another quick bite.

I eat here one a week for breakfast and always have great service, especially from Ian who always has a smile and nice word to say. The food is great and reasonably priced.

Just stopped for coffee n cake very convenient,clean, toilets close by, reasonably priced and friendly staff

This cafe met our needs. We wanted a simple breakfast and we got one. Would definitely go again in the future.

Although I love shopping at this big store I find the attuide and friendliness of the staff in the cafe do let the rest of the store down..the fried bread is rock hard and the food displayed on the counter looks like it's just been thrown on

Visited the cafe at 11am today, staff were very rude and unhelpful when trying to find something for my 2 year old to eat. They then charged me £3.25 for two pancakes that sell for a quid a pack on the shop floor and it stating on the board that they were £2.50. After being unable to provide anything for my two year old, she ended up with a packet of crisps to tide her over till we left. After 10 minutes they eventually bought my pot of scalding hot tea and placed it right next to my daughter where I had to quickly move it before she reached for it and spilled it on herself. We had 2 toasted sandwiches, 2 drinks a packet of crisps, 2 manky pancakes and attitude of the manager for over £17. I had bought my friend who was visiting from overseas and was so embarrassed. Will never visit again.

I have been using the Tesco's Forecourt and Main Store at Besston in Nottingham. I have found the Staff to be helpful, pleasant, well mannered and nothing is to much trouble for them. I would really recommend this store and a huge well done to the management at this store for employing such wonderful staff and making it a joy to shop here. It's just a shame that other supermarket chains cannot deliver the way Tesco's do. Hats off to Tesco's.

As tescos go this one is okay, its very big but I found it quite easy to find what I wanted, the staff were very friendly and helpful

I called into Tesco Oaktree Lane last week for a Hot Chocolate to take away the price was horrendous £2.70 I thought I would pick up 2 sachets of condiments whilst I was there and the waitress said I am going to have to charge you for those so I put them back

A struggle to find something decent to eat if you don't want a fried breakfast or an overpriced cob. Ok for a hot drink. I wouldn't recommend it for anything else. Not the cheapest place to go either.

Stopped here for breakfast. Looong story! It was good value for money and so flexible. 8 items of your choice for under a fiver. Really friendly service. A small criticism: The fried bread was overcooked somewhat, as was the black pudding. Otherwise a really good breakfast.

Having taken the family car for its service and having our baby with us we decided to call into the local Tesco for breakfast, We both had a breakfast that at almost £15 for the two of us the drink being extra I was shocked the staff barely into the morning shift looked like everything was too much trouble! To then not even know what the company breakfast consists of when it was platted up looked like a small mammal had exploded added to our disappointment. I seriously think the cafe staff on duty this morning have let down the Tesco brand and would benefit from product and customer service training to avoid any further disappointment for other customers. We personally will not use the cafe again as this wasn't our first poor experience here but did give it the benefit of our doubt today wish we hadn't bothered. The rest of the store is very good and will not deter us from shopping at this store just a shame one department is letting it down

Lovely breakfast, quickly served, food was bought to our tables within 5 minutes, nice selection to choose from too though the cob for the Bacon cob could of been a bit bigger
