Good lager reasonably priced worth a visit

Pub with good vibes but toilets lets it down. Lack of toilet rolled dirty broken locks asked a member of staff for loo rolls to be told to wait.

Would be nice for them to Answer the telephone!! Or update the number on website. As you can never get hold of anyone through their telephone number, so I'm only giving 1 star for service.

So we went to the Green Dragon last night for drinks for my sisters birthday, we sat outside because it was lovely warm evening but was interupped by a staff member with red hair saying she needed to move the chairs and tables inside(fair enough) but her attitude and comments to us were absolutly out of order. So we were finishing our drinks and thier was still empty chairs but she procedded to take my chair when i stood up. We all said there are other chairs that are empty, cant you take them to which she replied " no i want that one" and then said to another member of staff "they are going to start screeching, like them inside doing karrioke" My sister went up to her and said that her custemer service skill were absolutly appalling and explained she owns her own buisness and would never talk to her paying customers like that to which she replied "what do you want... a medal" then said to her work collegue "they must be on thier period". I myself work in the pub trade and would'nt dream of talking to customers like that, it was absolutly DISGUSTING!! Rest of your staff were amazing, including the bouncers who agreed with us that she was AWFUL! She is working in the public demane and has that attitude, it's disgusting😡😞

Wet only pub recently refurbished drinks not over the top and served quick for a Saturday

Can’t put football games on tv live even if many people as for the same game, someone with the acces to tv has been gone from pub for about an hour and can’t be found

It has recently been refurbished and stopped serving food. I must say it's a lot better now. It's fantastic for watching football as there are many televisions. The only downside is that they only had one bar staff serving on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Great for watching sports but don't expect to get a drink during footy games, needs more staff!!!

Good atmosphere. Plenty large tvs showing live games. Only problem is it takes ages to get served. Sometime only one serving.

Terrible service, disgusting behavior from the manager. Over charged for drinks. Asked for a receipt and he refused to give one. Avoid at all costs.

A nice friendly pub with very good prices and a deal on selected (popular, Inc. Buds) bottles at '2 for a fiver', staff are friendly and professional although there was only 1 staff on at the time we were there.

I like this pub but on new years eve I couldn't see or find a DJ booth to ask for favourite music to dance too so was a little disappointed. I love good dance music.

This pub always has a good atmosphere.

Wasn't busy when we went in, waited ages to get served. In the end we gave up and went elsewhere.

Stopped serving food, used to go in for great tasting meals at a reasonable price now they've stopped.

Nice improvements here, particularly the TVs near the tables.

Came in when it was xmas light switch on, happy with price of beer,was clean and tidy and a very happy lovely young girl behing the bar. Children also welcome.

Out for a bday celebration was ruined by a barman with long curly hair speaking absolutely disgusting to friends who were waiting to be served to the point where they had to walk away from the bar. It’s not the 1st time he had been like this and it happens a lot get him gone long blondiah hair and glasses

Very cosy very friendly and helpful staff and other patrons. No complaints here. Even the pop is fairly priced compared to beer/ lager. Didn't have the feeling that it was a chain pub (wether spoons/brewery owned) congratulations on keeping the proper cozy pub feeling alive and well

Fabulous place to eat, brilliant value for money, there's a lovely atmosphere and the service has always been great. The food is lovely and always plenty to choose from and an added bonus of air con thats been amazing during the heat. I personally have been visiting this venue for the last 14 years and still continue to eat here, its a shame that the breakfast wrap has sadly been removed from the menu as this was one of our favourites.

Good range of beers and cask Ales are well priced. Good atmosphere before the match. Just need more bar staff on a Saturday lunchtime. Had a pint and then gave up queuing again for another one.

Absolutely bangin’ service, and the assistant manager was ace too. 2 for 1 cocktails, need I say more? Great night, can’t wait to come back.

Went for food and a few drinks after work. Was a great afternoon with friendly staff and other customers.

It's a nice place however having one of the staff being annoyed about moving tables so that larger parties of people can sit together was a bit of a Downer in the pubs atmosphere.

Speedy pleasant service, a nice place to visit even if it's swift one before home. Can get a little busy and if the quiz is on there definitely needs to be silence or you'll have some people a little annoyed :)

We popped in for some lunch whilst doing a spot of Christmas shopping. The meals arrived promptly and were hot and reasonable priced. All in all a very nice experience.

Update oct 2021.2 visits in 2 week due to hospital appointments. Really good meals and helpful staff.lot better than couple years ago when we were there.I expect busy and noisier at night.but okay during afternoons. Well worth a visit again.

Had the gammon & chips earlier. The chips were OK but 1 part of the gammon was barely warm. Was given a fresh meal 🙂.

I always love visiting here, the food and drinks are bothe excellent standard and the staff are very friendly and welcoming
