We came here three adult and 2 children, my husband and father in law both had the fish and chips and both spent the night with food poisoning

This place is not worth your time. Firstly the positives - location. That’s about it really. The place is filthy. Dirty floors and tables, the food is bottom rate pub frozen food. It’s the worst place I’ve eaten at in Skegness. Avoid. Take a short walk around the corner and find something better.

Arrived in Skegness with two hungry grandchildren. Was quiet but advertised a children's menu outside. Food was excellent. Hot, huge portions and the boys ate the lot! No complaints whatsoever. 100% value for money! Friendly staff too!

Came here as my teenage lads were moaning they were starving as usual 🤔 and this was literally the nearest place so no thought involved. Good choice. The place was really nice. Great selection of food at reasonable prices and the food was excellent. Good kids menu too for our toddler. The staff were extremely friendly and we would definitely come again.

Popped in for a pub lunch. Nice sofa and decent food. It arrived fairly quickly and food was decent. Reasonably priced and location is right in middle of all attractions. Would go again.

I visited this place on 21st july while on a day trip to Skegness and the location was perfect, right on the sea front. The Fish & Chips were lovely with a large piece of Haddock and plenty of chips. The meal was advertised with either beans, peas or mushy peas but I didnt bother having either of those as I knew I wouldnt be able to eat the lot as the plates were large. You helped yourself to cutlery and all the condiments you wanted around the corner of the bar I sat outside in the sunshine and noticed that any empty glasses or plates were cleared away very quickly, which was nice and all the staff had a curteous, pleasant manner. They also had my favourite swedish cider Rekorderlig on tap which for me, was an added bonus.

We stopped here to eat as it was the first place we came to with space We weren't disappointed. Food was good, service prompt and staff were pleasant, although they could maybe pretend to be happier at work. Dad said the steak pie wasn't up to much but the rest of us had fish and chips which were lovely and a burger which was also lovely. We went back for lunch next day and drinks throughout our holiday. Cocktails seem like a bargain but glasses are tiny so didn't order more than once. Good range of beers and gins etc. Will visit again.

Location: Perfect as in the centre of skeg next to the Embassy Staff: Pleasant but they don’t ask if”everything was ok” for a reason lol Food: Not pleasant! Partner had deep fried chicken which was the driest ever tasted. I had cottage pie - tasteless and dry. We both had garden peas, which judging by the colour had been stood all day. The chips were dry and again, I would say had been stood a long time either under a lamp or been microwaved back to hot

I came here with my husband and 3 children, 1 of which is 18. Firstly they refused to serve him alcohol without his ID even though he was eating with his parents. Secondly, the food was obviously warmed up in the microwave and my pie was stuck to the plate. The chips on my eldest son's plate where green - see photo attached. The burger on my youngest son's was dripping in grease and fat. The chicken in my daughter's nuggets where slimey and ineadible, also see photo attached. A real disappointment and a trip to MacDonalds was needed to feed my children with a half decent evening meal.

We popped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch while we were out and about. It wasn't my first choice of where to go as it looked a bit dark inside, but the food came out quickly and tasted delicious, will be coming back again.

We popped in at teatime for drinks and food. I had the beef and bacon burger with chips which was delicious! Dad had a meat pie that he said was delicious and full of meat. Generous portions and good quality food. Friendly staff and a nice place. We came a few years ago and it was good then too!

Good social distancing going on, short staffed so you had to order at the bar for drinks and food, which was then brought to you when ready. food was good, Half roast chicken and Scampi were great.

Our visit was a great surprise, in fact we are going back again tonight for our evening meal. The food was perfectly cooked and presented and the condiments were a quality well known brand, not a cheap replacement. The young staff members were very efficient and helpful and I would highly recommended anyone visiting Skegness to give it a try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

This doesn’t look much from the outside and it looks dark inside but don’t let that put you off. The food is excellent, it is hot and fresh, the portions are hugh and it is delicious. Prices are very reasonable and whilst on holiday went a couple of times. Staff were excellent and highly recommend you visit.

We had two meals here during a weekend break. The service was really good and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The food quality was exceptional and the portions were large. Definately worthy of further visits in the future.

Called in after a stressful day, all chose fish and chips and was delivered out fast. Large portions and that was only regular. Lots of people coming and going , food churned out. Great location on skeggy front. Only missing a star as nobody asked how our meals were and a bit messy in the place (busy from diners ) .All very positive almost a 5 stars, well worth a visit ! Will be back again.

Called in for a meal ordered four different one's food was good and tasty nice chips quite reasonable prices quick service the place was clean n tidy as was the staff no one came to ask if all was ok would recommend and will return thanks

We only went to try as we had a voucher but my partner said they were the best chips he's had in years. We ordered a bugsy malone burger and an al Capone burger both came with salad and chips. The burgers were quarter pounders and the rolls were not the usual cheap rolls you get either so it just looked better than a run of the mill burger and chips. We will definitely be back. We had a few hours to ourselves so wanted to go somewhere for something nice to eat but reasonably priced. We were so dissapointed. I had steak which was full of water and served with chip shop chips! No idea why they served it with chippy chips as there is no chip shop attached to it. My husband had the cottage pie. It had clearly been around for sometime. It was completely dry and again served with chippy chips and rock hard peas. We left all of it. when the boy (aged about 12) came to collect our plates I pointed out that the food was disgusting. His response was "Ok never mind". I then looked around and saw the place was being run by youngsters with no experienced management around. Any other restaurant would have been mortified and asked for feedback but these kids just didnt care. I even saw one of the waitresses on her break neck down two pints of dark fruits in about 10 minutes and then return to work! Terrible food and terrible service.

We visit Skegness from Lincoln for a day out quite a lot, and me and my partner are a bit food snobby HOWEVER this place is great. It’s chilled , cheap, they have great drinks and have blue moon on tap which the bar guys always garnish with a massive orange slice (bravo as even the great London pubs don’t bother) There’s a blonde lady behind the bar that always takes our order and she is absolutely lovely, polite and genuine. I can’t rate this place enough. The fish and chips (always ordered) is amazing. It’s not the classiest of places but it’s down to earth and amazing quality and in being so it’s relaxed. Love it. Recommend.

Had a couple of hours in here recently - well, sat outside in the sun. The cocktails are cheap (241) and you can actually taste the alcohol so they’re not just fruit juices. The gin and lager are reasonably priced too. Though we didn’t eat, we envied others who ate there - the plates looked very plentiful and I didn’t see anyone leaving much! Very good actually - if you can stomach the STRONG smell of fish as you walk in.

The service was quick and friendly and the pub was very clean. The choice of meals was reasonable. It is in a good seafront location.

Situated next to the Embassy theatre and smack bang in the middle of Skeggy seafront this place is ideally located.

Went there with my Dad as he loves a good carvery. You get 2 courses for £7.95 which can either be starter & carvery or carvery & dessert. We chose the soup of the day which was beautiful , went for the carvery which was a choice of 3 meats , you could either have one of the three or two of the three plus help yourself to rest of everything else.

Quick service for a reason. food was very plain no care into it at all. The chips had 0 flavour at all. The burger was cooked and looked like it came from a cheap supermarket

Meanie BoBini's is perfectly located for an early evening meal, before visiting The Embassy theatre next door. I have had good meals here, but not this time. Although the cafe was not full, there were plenty of staff around . Unfortunately, they seemed to be busy talking to each other. Meal, fish'n'chips, arrived. Very small piece of fish, OK I suppose, but the chips were not right. Discoloured, dry, not piping hot, not nice. We wondered if they had been left over from earlier? We left most of the chips and the waiter was not surprised at this when he collected the plates. He did apologise for them in a 'sorry about that' casual way. I took this up with a senior person who told me all meals are usually cooked to order, but immediately refunded half the cost. So a reasonable recompense for a disappointing meal. I know they can do better, perhaps just took their eye off the ball on this occasion.

Stopped off here during our day out to Skegness. Nice, clean pub with lots of seating. Food was great value for money and very nice. Highly recommend!

The "restaurant" itself was filthy. Sauce splashed everywhere, up the menus and salt seller, tables were really sticky. My pint glass looked as though it had been through a nuclear war. The food was totally bland, swimming in grease, and a massive disappointment.

Varied menu and food and service was excellent will go back again in the near future. Initially it looks a bit like a Berni Inn but when you receive the excellent service and outstanding food you realise all restaurants are not the same?

Chicken Ceasar Salad was very tasty. Also the Scampi Salad and chips. Hesitated at first as did look a bit dirty but tables were clean in fact the staff were very polite and constantly cleaning up.

We had a steak pie,10 oz rump steak a half roast chicken and scampi and all were super. Great portions and the service was fine. I really can’t find anything to complain about other than my youngest 11 went to toilet and we thought he had been gone a while so I went to see if he was ok. He was glad to hear my voice as he was caught short with no paper lol. It did make us laugh but maybe that’s an area for improvement.

I was a little sceptical when my brother suggested this place, particularly as Skegness sea front was rammed and it was lunchtime. However we managed to bag two large tables for the ten of us despite the pub being quite full. I ordered fish and chips, expecting a pub meal with a frozen piece of battered fish, but was pleasantly surprised when my meal turned up and it looked like it had come straight from the Chippy. I can honestly say that this was the best seaside fish and chips I have had for a long time and there were no complaints and empty plates from everyone. Didn't really get the gangster theme in a seaside resort but the pub was fairly clean and I would not hesitate to eat here again.

Member of staff did not wash hands after toilet visit, approached manager but she did not seem bothered !

Ate here on Friday, really impressed from the outside ... once inside we sat in a booth, I’d just watched the waitress clean the table yet it was sticky? We ordered at the bar where we tried to chat with the Barman And ask about the area - he grumbled and stared at his feet :/ Then the food came, a cheese platter - yuk, the mozzarella sticks and onions rings were ok but the other items were foisty and soggy. The burgers look impressive when served however once you take a bite it’s a different story, it was GREY inside - grey burger?? No thanks. Over cooked dry chips arnt for me either - thank goodness for the fresh side salad! I wouldn’t recommend this place and I certainly wouldn’t return.

Looked nice from the outside, when we got inside it was unusually quiet for a bank holiday. Ordered the combo starter which they were sold out of so went for the fish goujons and chicken fillets. Arrived within the time it took us to take our coats off, sit down and take a sip of beer. There was 3 chicken/fish on each starter and a shot glass with dip, the waiter just put them on the table and we had to go searching for knives and forks. Finished the starters and same guy collected and asked if we wanted our mains. They literally came in the time it took him to walk to the kitchen and come back. I had the classic burger with chips, onion rings and salad. The burger looked like dog food, and I’m not 100% sure it was cooked. There was no relish, no sauces, no cheese, just a cheap burger in a slightly stale bap. The chips were like chippy chips, a little greasy but the past part of my meal. The onion rings were completely raw onion and dripping with oil. I look one small mouthful of the burger and it made me feel Ill.

We have been here on several occasions before a show and food has always bee good. However tonight was a very different case, I ordered the fish cakes which were still frozen in the middle when they arrived! I spoke to the waiter whos3 said sorry do you want your money back or another meal! Well obviously I wanted to eat so I said another meal! Within around two minutes I had another meal in front of me to be told “don’t worry about. It being quick it was someone else’s meal!” This time the fish cakes were also frozen 8n the middle! Again sent them back and ordered a completel6 differen5 meal. By the time mine came the rest of my party had eaten and I was left to rush so we could go to the theatre! The waiters did apologise but 8 felt it wouldnt have hurt to offer a free drink or something! Not impressed wont be back

This was our 2nd visit. Just as good as the first. Clean and tidy. Food was delicious and hot. Most enjoyable. Will return again 😊

Our Family had a great meal here, cooked well and hot, all 7 meals came out together, large portions. We definitely recommend it. prices good too.

Visited here with my 2 kids expecting to pay ridiculous prices algor the location, but got mountains of good food for 3 people for under £25! I loved the cottage pie, it was fresh and very cheesy.Yum! The staff was so helpful and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

Had a day out in Skegness and called in for an early dinner before heading home. Didn't have great expectations as so close to seafront attractions. Sent hubby off to order for 3 of us with £40 and got over a tenner back.... food arrived quickly, right temperature, well cooked and lots of it. Nice setting but a bit dark. Needed to use phone torch to see menu. Staff friendly and helpful, the pub was clean and welcoming and the kids loved the illuminated dance floor. Also, plenty of vegetation choices.

Our second time visiting here in three weeks, first time we came for some early afternoon cocktails which were very nice. This time we came for a late breakfast, with 10 mins before the brekkie menu switched to the lunch menu and being a chef myself l know how sometimes we can be annoyed if we've packed all the breakfast stuff away and you get a late order so thank you guys!! So we ordered two large breakfasts which at £4.95 each were very good value for money and the kids shared two bacon cobs between em. The food came out very very fast. Second time visiting here after reviewing last time we were in skegness. Was great first time as my review will show and on holiday decided to visit again. Fairly quiet and gota seat on outdoor decking. Lovely place to sit in the sunshine. I do wish it was non smoking as there are benches out front. I'm an ex smoker but when people are dining it's not nice and I don't see why we should be forced indoors in glorious sunshine. Anyhow, food wise prices average pub grub. Kids meal and drink £395 and adults average £8. The food in my opinion is great quality. Well cooked, quality ingredients and decent portions. We had burgers. They were huge, fat, handmade "proper meat" ones. Grilled. Loads of toppings. Served with chips, like "chippy" chips but they were really nice indeed! Very well cooked and not greasy. Also had onion rings with it and I've never seen an onion so big. No joke one was 5 inches wide and 1 inch thick! Absolutely serious. Huge! My little one has chicken nuggets which were real chicken pieces, not cheap or minced product in a lovely thin crispy batter. Came quickly and was hot. Really enjoyed it. I have no complaints at all and most certainly will return. The smoking thing is a personal gripe as they could dedicate the front seating to smokers and free up the decking/dining area for families. The cutlery was clean but had water marks from drying so looked unclean. Picky people might moan at this. Didn't bother us. See you next time we visit Skegness.

They do a really good fish and chips. Although not the cheapest in town, it is a nice spacious, light pub with a view over some of the fairground rides. Tables are well spread out. Definitely would go back.

Attached to the Embassy Theatre this is not only an ideal place for theatregoers but one for all visitors to the resort.The menus offered a large choice of food and I particularly liked the seating arrangement. You had a choice of open plan or secluded tables. This was my first visit since a change of ownership and I was impressed by everything, the food was first class and the staff were very obliging. I will definitely make it a regular food stop in future.
