The Beck Bar-Grill and Carvery in East Lindsey

Had to rebook for a slot to eat. We turned up and unfortunately, they were fully booked. Credit to the team they managed to get us a table for 4pm. We came back and wow!!! What a carvery, one of the best we've ever had. Will definitely be going back, well done The Beck staff. 6 out of 5 stars.

We had a last minute carvery. The meat was a little dry, but it was a good spread and we were full when we'd finished. Good value

You can't beat the Beck. Great local pub restaurant. Wonderful carvery that is regularly refreshed during service, other menu items also fantastic. Price wise, you can't beat it for the size and quality of the food portions. Drinks are very reasonable too. Staff always friendly and helpful. Great for all ages and parties of all sizes. Something for everyone. Well worth a visit.

Great place to visit no matter what time of day...

Whether you eat from the menu or go for a carvery the quality is excellent especially as it the standard carvery has been reduced to £6.50. Incredible value. Would always recommend the cheesecakes...beautiful!

Lovely meal but felt rushed I went to get a takeaway carvery after I ate mine my dad and grandchildren waited at the table by the time I got back the table was wiped clean and my dad was waiting with my pint stud up so I sat back at the table where I was looked upon with disgust from the waiting on staff .I was disgusted

We had the carvery, which was absolutely delicious! We have been many times and we'll continue to keep visiting there. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. A lovely place to enjoy great food and drinks.

I have severe allergy issues with peas and what I witnessed in the carvery was a server who was stocking the veg wearing gloves.. touching the veg to smooth them out. Cross contamination with other vegetables. Whether allergy or not should be handled, even with gloves! The server should be using the serving implements to sort them out. This really is cutting corners with safety. If I accidentally consume pea protein or pea residue, I could end up in intensive care. Other establishments use separate implements to ensure no cross contamination. I hope something can be done here to improve this to reduce the risk of putting people like myself in hospital.

Came for lunch today (Saturday). I had the Steak and Stilton pie, my partner had the Steak and Ale pie, OMG!! Both pies were full of meat, it was delicious!!! Reasonably priced too!! Will definitely eat here again when we come down. Thank you

We was recommended to eat at the beck an it didn't disappoint the food was beautiful the carvery was proper nice the meat was tender I loved it an the missus had the veggie menu an she enjoyed it so first time at the beck an will be back for more an not forgetting the woman on the front of house was excellent even asked if you had allergies 👍😁

Good food was like microwave done and all was a little over done but edible

Great place to eat, reasonably priced with swift service and food was really good.

I had the feeling that all the dishes were from the day before, the chicken was terribly salty, the ribs were dry and not good. Fries in old oil, mixed old with fresh. Pizza unbaked, greasy, like the cheapest market.Onion rings it was old. In general, the food is very not good, old and not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent food well worth a visit

A pub with English-style dishes from steaks, burgers, buffets, salads and other dishes. We order online or at the bar. The selection of ciders is quite small. Vegetarian dishes, one from each category. Eatable veggie burger, small amount of vegetables, good bun, English-style or thin fries. Parking for 20 cars. A good place without being crazy.

Family of 4 food served very quick but for good reason the carvery is all frozen pre made food meat was very dry Also had a steak and after the second try it was still super chewy..came with tinned pees brown ended salad Don't waste ur money

We sat outside as we had our dog with us on holiday. A good menu selection, we opted for the carvery, which was probably the best we have had. Highly recommend.

First visit here. Staff very pleasant and food really good. Especially the carvery.

Went for birthday meal. Table set up with decorations. Brilliant meal and best of all birthday boy got free meal and pudding. Would definitely recommend

Local pub in mablethorpe with restaurant

Awful food. All prepared and brought in frozen. Powdered potatoes to. Don't bother as your wasting your money and time.

Best carvery I have ever eaten in 64 years, Toby Carvery should attend your kitchen to be trained, everything cooked to perfection, generous portions of meat, lovely choice of vegetables and the homemade stuffing was delicious, will definitely come back again, only 90 minutes from Hull, lovely polite staff. My wife enjoyed the Unicorn cake and cream, 100% delicious.

We were on a short break at the Nearby Have Site & decided to ,go local for a meal.We were not Disappointed,the venue is Large but lots of room to eat well spread out.Choice was very good & A Carvery was on the menu.We ordered & couldn't believe how quick it was delivered.Beautiful meal & piping hot,along with a tasty Jack Rabbit Rose.Prices very reasonable,staff very friendly. We went back the next night but due to Terrible weather ,they were closing early,but very Apologetic.Definitley a must to Visit

All round friendly atmosphere, establishment outstanding cleaning wise, customer service & interaction on point nothing to much trouble & always a friendly smiled face around, but most of all what an amazing carvery, food & drinks they have to offer for all & special diet needs too! Amazed so happy. Very good & prices knock the food on the head it was outstanding already want to come back! It was my first but not my last.

Would have been 5/5 if judged on food however the chef who ran the carvery ( gentleman with tattoos) was extremely rude and abrupt, I asked for the 3 meats only to be told I can only have 2 as I purchased a standard carvery.. there was no signs explaining what you could have.... then a lady was coming back for more garden peas and then being told loudly to a full queue that you can't come back for " more veg " leaving the lady very embarrassed... other staff were superb and very friendly

Ordered 2 fish and chips, only 1 turned up, appalling service. Also no disabled parking. 1 one portion of fish and chips was nice. They need to print meals on receipt.

This has to be the single worst carvery I have ever had. We had 2 x standard carveries, 2 drinks which came to £26.80. The carvery was not worth 99p let alone £9.99. The meats were cold, extremely dry and therefore not really edible. They were left uncovered on a warm day with flies flying round who could land on the open meats and lay or transfer anything! The mash potato was so white and both that and the roast potatoes didn’t taste nice at all. The veg was luke warm at best and was tasteless. The drinks tasted like they’d been watered down. When we complained to the oriental waitress all she said was “I can understand” - if she doesn’t rate the food where she is working then the customers most definitely will not! Didn’t stay for dessert as no doubt they wouldn’t have been up to much either. Very disappointed and obviously would not recommend.

The beck has a great atmosphere, it's perfect for family gatherings and carvery. The service is quick and the staff are lovely.

We love visiting The Beck when we are on holiday we visited 3/9/24, The carvery & the drinks were lovely and the staff were lovely & brilliant. We sat in the outdoor area which is lovely with our dog.

Went for a Sunday roast and was very busy. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but went well. Roast tasted nice, and some of the other food looked good too. Wasn't a bad price for food and drinks.

Still sat here now having a drink, a nice and modern pub with an absolutely fantastic carvery. The meat, the veg were all outstanding and at a shade over £50 for 4 of us with drinks, would highly recommend!

LOVELY roast dinner carvery. Really good quality of food. Long queue (10 mins)to order at the bar due to popularity of place, but this didn’t detract from dining experience. 100% recommend eating here 👍🏻

Had a Birthday meal today. Even though it was very busy. Staff were great and brought birthday cake out on request. Meal arrived promptly. Carvery took a bit longer due to demand but was well worth it.

Best roast dinner I have had in a long while. Very fresh cue wasn't big, and the choice of 5 meats.

Went nearly every day for a meal very good food

if you are gluten free be aware. We had come to the beck because of its gluten free menu.we had two carvery and it was good because they have a list of what is gluten free over the carvery (i some how do not believe that this is true now) two curry off the gluten free menu. My grandchildren was excited because they do a Alabama fudge cake which says it's gluten free. we told the bar staff we was gluten free and the cake came out with a wafer in them,I asked the girl if the wafer was gluten free, she didn't know. She took them back to the kitchen and took the wafer out and brought them back,I told her we could not eat them because they was contaminated,she took them back turn them over and brought the same one's out with wafer crumbs on them,We did not eat them,I got my money back as we could not take the risk. when I emailed them, I got told did I tell them at the bar, yes I did tell him and also walked up with the gluten free menu,asking for gluten free meals.i was also told that the staff had gone on Allergan training that week,the same week i complained coincidental do I believe no.we won't be coming back .

Absolutely fantastic! Staff, beer, ale and food! What can I say, staff very polite and courteous. Beer good price and whoever cleans the pumps well done!! Food not overpriced, Absolutely delicious and although 30 mins wait stated it was with us in 10 mins. 4th time at The Beck and every time perfect. We'll done everyone. See you soon xx

Stopped off here to have some food after traveling from Staffordshire. The pizza was the nicest we have ever had!

My friend at work told me that I had to come here as the pizzas are amazing. They were correct! The menu looked extensive, will definitely return next time we visit Mablethorpe.

Popped in for dinner, only one person serving at the bar he is doing food orders and the drinks so that made the wait was quite long, The food let's start with the pizza putting half a tub of Italian herbs does not make it an italian pizza if it was not for the amount of herbs it might have been a nice pizza but was well over seasoned with herbs and that's all you could taste,, take that herb pot off the trainee chef! The steak was a but chewy, we have had better Would I recommend maybe if your hungry the carvery looked ok

Great carvery friendly chefs and staff.. came with our party of 15 and all got served quickly. Toilets desperately need attention... swimming.. but overall great. Koi was amazing cleaning up after us all. Thank you

An Absolute belter the food is worth more than I paid for with my family, I was thinking about it for the rest of the day, The lasagne and tomato garlic bread was quite possibly the best thing iv ever eaten, the chef must have been Gordon Ramsey it was just fantastic, We visited last year and were so happy we went back, the staff are just perfect

Had a nice meal and the Guinness was good too. Got busy later on but a nice atmosphere.

Popped in yesterday due to rain, the girl behind the bar never smiled or even looked at us when serving, wanted to see a coffee menu, and was told we only do black coffee with milk!!! On holiday in mablethorpe so won't be returning here

Food lovely , meals good size and nicely priced. Tried pizzas very nice and fresh, steak n ale pie, hot dog with all trimmings lovely, and sweat n sour chicken. All lovely, no problem and not too long wait either.

We visited for a meal ,decided on the full rack of ribs ,my little rant as I dont like coleslaw could I have some peas instead, NO were very busy and it would upset the chef ,Hello you have a carvery 2 steps away full of peas , but you have to buy a carvery to get them lol ,busy you haveing a laugh there were more people in the toilet than eating disappointed customer,

Had a family meal out, staff are rude, have no idea what they’re doing. Was owed a pint due to mess up on till and was told had 15mins to redeem. Staff/chef were vaping at the end of the bar inside!! Food was average. Wouldn’t return!!

Fabulous carvery. Noisy children detracted from the atmosphere for us older couple.

Very different to when I was a kid they need to open the front up again so kid's can go crabbing in the little river it was very popular I would love to show my kid's how to do it xxx
