Spent Saturday night . DJ played some great tunes from 80’s all way to recent. Door men and security was very helpful. Ladies in bar serving was both friendly and welcoming . Lunch was lovely too

Quiet pub by the clock tower. The food is adequate and reasonably priced. Usually some sport playing on the TV in the background. Child friendly and friendly staff.

Was in today with family and 3 of us enjoyed meal but the tikka masala was not nice as chicken was tough and spicy chicken burger was dripping in oil

Not our first bad experiance here, but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Bar staff were good, although busy chatting to others while serving you. Not one for complaining about food, but, Food would of been sent back had anyone bothered to do a table check, and ask if everything was OK. Mixed grill, Steak was ordered medium to well done, but came almost rare. Curry was was barely enough for a child. And the naan bread was awful. Staff clearly avoided clearing our table. Clearly they have a policy of not asking if food is OK for a reason, and do not clear tables until you have left. We were sat for 35 minutes, and no one cleared our plates. Even though people leaving around us, had the tables cleared straight away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN FOOD HERE.

Out for a day trip with a friend and called in for a fish and chip lunch. The food was really good and the service excellent. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and the waitress was really helpful and very pleasant. We will definitely come back here for lunch when in Skegness for the day up.

Yes beautiful meal well cooked to perfection the chicken burger and salad and cheese bacon with pint of Moretti reasonable price range and a steak cooked well done as asked by girl behind the bar staff were friendly and sky tv was on only down side sorry was peas hard but other than that 10/10 the jolly fisherman reminds me of weatherspoons as toilets upstairs which were clean tidy bub will come back if time allows

Atmosphere and service was brilliant very polite and made sure taken care of. The food was abysmal, misses got a curry tasted prepacked everything like chucked in a microwave. I got a steak chips over cooked, asked for medium rare and was closer to blue, no seasoning on the steak at all and was chewing for a while. Pre bought onion rings and the peppercorn sauce was bland and sloppy, for a drink it would be amazing but for food, highly de recommend as you will be displeased They need a chef who knows how to cook and enjoys his job because there chef is terrible. Hope improves in the future.

We went for early dinner on Thurs 26th Sept, 6 of us. Lovely atmosphere, the staff were very attentive, especially to my 82 year old mom. Food was hot, and very nice. Didn't have any desserts as we were stuffed from our dinners lol. Would visit again if we are back in the area

We had lovley food service was quick we were all laughing and joking over the quiz on the screen with others in the pub and stayed longer for drinks after our meals

My family and I are on holiday this week and this is our 2nd visit. Thoroughly enjoyed both meals and drinks here. Welcoming atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Food intolerances was looked into which I appreciated. Clean tables.

Came in we my granddaughter and friends,when we went to order our food i asked politely if the previous customers drinks could be removed from the table,i was told there's plenty of other tables to go to,i chose that table cause they were together with there being 5 of us,so she then walked off to clean the table before we had even finished ordering,the attitude of the girl in question was disgusting. My friend then went outside for a cigarette while his partner took the children to the toilet,we went back in to find our drinks had been removed and the remaining food, there was items left at the table so clearly we would be returning,when my friend questioned this he was told i wasn't the one who cleaned the table. The food was ok but the attitude of the staff his appalling.

Just a couple of drinks, no decaf coffee served

The food was very poor, I ordered a cheese melted baguette, which when it came had not seen any grill, my brother had the breakfast, which was half cold, forgot his eggs, brought them out on a plate and poured them onto his plate with the oil as well, then while drinking his tea nearly swallowed a foreign object in his tea, took this object to the staff to complain, a manager of sorts came across said it must of came out of the dishwasher here is your £3 back for your tea. Won't be back

Nice pub and nice and warm even asked for air con to be turned off and the staff did 👍👍👍👍

Been numerous times in previous years and can safely say the food quality has declined drastically. Myself and my wife both had Steak & Ale Pie with Mash and Seasonsl Veg. The pie was pretty much a supermarket prepackaged quality, the seasonal veg were peas (end of) and had to get extra gravy just to try and moisten the mash which you could pick up in one clump on a fork. Cleanliness and friendliness all good but after many years of visiting we won’t be back.

Was served by a lovely girl called Kelsey , was really great—friendly and attentive. She made sure everything went smoothly and checked in to make sure I was happy with my meal. I appreciated her relaxed and helpful approach. Definitely recommend!

This Saturday 7th September there will be approximately 50 of us who will be meeting and greeting the famous YouTuber Kevin Turner. Hopefully it will be a good event which we can livestream.

Had a brilliant time hear both for food and drinks with both of them being exceptional. Special mentions go out to Brandon who remembered my drinks order every time without fail which made me feel like a proper valued customer. Just nice friendly staff all round.

Visited with family end of August place is clean and nice decor. Plenty of room lovely staff , decent menu drinks come with a few of menu items.we had chicken burgers and a curry . Had to ask as mango etc missing but kids and I loved our burgers very nice 👍 curry was great , poppadoms we're a tad plastic but lovely meal and well priced too .

Wasn't particularly busy when we went (Tues 20th Aug) The tables were all dirty . We ordered our food - my husband ordered fish and chips - it got sent back as there was no fish - just a lump of batter !!! ( we were refunded that) I had a cheeseburger and chips - see photo - it was dire !!! Should have gone to McDonald's!!!

Had gammon, dreadful, thin pieces like shoe leather, wouldn’t go again 😩 smallest portion of chips which weren’t very nice. No one asked if our meals was ok. If they had done I would have sent it back. I only ate one piece of the shoe leather, which I will probably be eating all night long. Don’t know how they had the cheek to send it out!! 🤬

This is the worst pub restaurant I've ever been in came in at 1700 and ordered 2 meats and Kids meals and it's not even busy it's now 1810 Ive been back to the bar twice to be only told it will be with you soon ......still waiting

Have to say I big thank you , the wife and I came down for our anniversary. I got really drunk lol , the staff were amazing , anything I asked for was not a problem. It was friday /Saturday night and I’m hard of hearing so had to ask a few times , staff understood this and served me with a smile and great patience. The ladies on the bar were polite and 2nd to none . The bar man remembered our order and was preparing our drinks as soon as I approached the bar , totally professionally. Last but far no way the least were the doormen , held the door for my wife on more then one occasion then helped me with directions to nearest shop when I wanted cigarettes. Top place , top staff , 5stars from us deffo recommended by us ,thank you for making our anniversary weekend one to remember.

Food took 45 mins and can honestly say it was terrible,I got fish and chips with about 9 chips and curry sauce that was like a hard jelly,they forgot bread and butter so I asked and they sent out bread that was more like toast,we also order cheese and bean toasties with what was supposed to come with loaded chips ha ha,it's was disgusting and not edible,I wish I could upload pics,avoid at all costs we just couldn't believe it and still can't,

We called in for something to eat and a pint are 2 . We had scampi chips garden peas was very nice wait was 45 mins but worth it .scampi was plentiful but could have done with more chips

The food wasn't brilliant and the people were so noisy. We couldn't hear ourselves speak.wont be going again.

We all ordered the full breakfast this morning, the bacon was raw and the sausage we burnt, it overall wasn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend going there! 3 of the workers where stood behind the bar talking very loud disturbing the whole environment, we even had to wait 20-30 mins for them to finish there conversations to come and clear the table off.

Quite honestly the worst food I have ever been served any where!! Ordered breakfast bacon was totally raw sausages completely burnt eggs were snotty a teaspoon of beans and what can only be described as yesterdays toast absolutely awful DO NOT GET FOOD HERE .

Visited this morning for the first time with my family. The pub itself was nice and clean and it was easy to find a seat and table and the food waiting time wasn’t bad. After this I’m afraid everything else was bad the price is high compared to most pubs but I was happy to pay this thinking I was getting a nice breakfast. The breakfast arrived it had no more than a teaspoon of beans and mushrooms I’m unsure how they could claim it came with them the sausages were burnt and couldn’t be eaten think of burnt sausages you get off a bbq and that’s what these were they had also been reheated. The bacon was raw no other word for it it wasn’t cooked and not one person on our table was able to eat it! The eggs looked nice until it came to eating them they were still under cooked with raw egg white. The only thing we ate was the toast as we knew that this wouldn’t make us sick. Not once while we were sat there did any staff come and check if our food was ok or if we needed anything else. The staff spent their whole time at the bar chatting and giggling loudly including the chef. By the time we left our table still hadn’t been cleared. My advice to anyone thinking of eating here to do yourself a favour and go down the road to McDonald’s where it’s not only cheaper but a better quality of food.

We shared 3 x small plates. Good portion sizes and dishes were warmed. Staff lovely and friendly. A bonus that we even got a free pint of Peroni on our MIXR apps.

Came in today and partner got it by a pool ball from a customer to hit it t9o hard the manger came over put ice on her leg and took pictures of the leg she in a lot of pain he advised us to call 111 service get adviced manger took our details and very helpful . Put it would have bin nice if the manger told the guys to go steady put did not.

Nice enough pub , staff are fine . Food is not so good. Second visit there to see if I was unlucky with the food the first time . A year had passed, and to be honest the food was below standard . I would go again but only for a beer.

Drinks were terrible the head on the pint was terrible toilets were disguised feaces down the toilet urine up the wall try to dispute with staff and what an attitude

Didn't eat in here but it's not a food place I would ever think of going . One tip I would give management is on your coffee machine the steam arms should be cleaned after every coffee made and purged before every coffee made. We sat and watched 2 coffees made and not once was the arms cleaned or purged but I'm sure the staff should know .

Garbage went in Sunday 7thJuly. Stuck to floor stuck to bar and table. Glasses hung up over bar looked like they were placed there after someone had finished there drink. Waited at bar young girl strolled over and said do want something lol . Ordered two cocktails vile . No orange and Prosecco flat in cocktail all soda water. Pints watered down . Pub looks okay on first impressions but not once in maybe why it wasn’t busy. No atmosphere. Staff looked happy to be there too lol . Can’t comment on food didn’t risk it. Such a shame.

Dynamic pricing is illegal. Brewery sets the pricing not the establishment or staff. £26 for two vodkas and a rum. Don't think so. Very slow service would not recommend or return.

Stopped in for a drink, on a day out. Helpful lad serving behind the bar, good drinks. It wasn’t busy being a cold Monday, the table areas were not cleared of food dishes and our table was pretty sticky . Toilets are upstairs and were not great, broken loo seats and clearly not checked regularly. Put us off eating ,so we went across the road to the chippy.

Extremely disappointed, myself and the wife went in today expecting to have a nice lunchtime meal, was looking at the menu and was about to order but was told that the drinks that we wanted was NO Longer available because they don't sell it anymore. Well here is an interesting idea change your menus and website so you are NOT FALSE ADVERTISING

Completely empty. Food was not too bad but well....boring.

Ordered via app. Drinks turned up and got plonked on table, had a Coke and a Coke Zero but weren't told which was which so had to ask, I then had to ask for the glass to be replaced as it was covered in lipstick. It was reasonably busy so I ws expecting a slight wait on food however people around us with larger orders who had ordered after us were getting their food pretty quickly so figured that it wouldn't be too long. Twenty minutes after ordering I noticed the pub's KMS screen (not sure what Stonegate call their system) and saw that our food was ready and told my partner that ours was next, ten minutes later still no food. I noticed few minutes later that the timer had been going for nearly ten minutes so I was expecting cold food at that point. A few minutes later the screen changed again and then the front of house team member (youngish girl, ahoulder length dyed red hair with glasses) closed off the order so I went over and said that she'd cleared off our order and we'd not had the food. She replied to me quite rudely "yeah, I did, someone took the wrap to the wrong table so they're doing another one, it won't be long but we are busy" I understand being busy having worked in hospitality myself for over twenty years and I had no issue waiting, my issue was the lack of communication regarding the order and the issue with it being taken to the wrong table, if you're honest with your guests they'll understand. At no point did a team member approach us to tell us about the delay. I was also not happy about having a team member speak to me like that as I was not rude when I approached her so her attitude was not warranted. The food came out about ten minutes after this and we did get an apology. However as soon as she had put the food down it was clear to see that my burger had been sat under the hot light for the last twenty minutes as the top of the bun had a small darker brown patch from where the lamp had burnt it. The bun itself hadn't actually been toasted so the sauce had soaked through the bun and it had fallen apart, as a result of being under there for so long the lettuce on the bun had wilted quite badly and turned brown and the fries on both meals were stone cold. Again, I understand that mistakes and delays can happen from time to time however a guest will be less likely to be annoyed if they wait nearly fifty minutes for two meals if the food turns up as expected and generally it's good pracrtice if there has been an issue with a meal being taken to the wrong table to replate the other meal to ensure that it's actually hot and of good quality. The price of a replacement burger bun and a couple of fresh portions of fries is nothing to ensure that customers get decent food. I went into a pub for a quick lunch, I don't expect gourmet cuisine and silver service but for £30 I at least expect to get something better than McDonald's, In hindsight we'd have been better off going to a food kiosk at the fairground. Had any of the team bothered to do a checkback I would have highlighted my dissatisfaction at the time however we did not recieve a checkback and it seemed that the team weren't even bothering to clear tables by that point and were too busy chatting as another guest cleared and wiped his own table. I'm not going to be melodramatic and say that this ruined my day however it did quite annoy me for a while.

Food comes cold. You get a portion of chips for a 3 yr old. Lasagna was just a small strip. Chicken tikka had small man bread poppadom tasted like paper. Food comes out fast but most likely microwaves. The rice defo came out of a container as it was clumped together and freezing cold. The tikka was like warm the spice is the only heat you can get. The burgers were alright. Not worth the money. Under £70 for 5 drinks and 5 meals for cold small portions. The plates are hotter than the meal

Quite empty for a wednesday night in Witson week ? Burgers ok , fish not bad , however " steak & gravy pie" wasn't sure if it was gammon / pork or some scraps of steak ... veg like bullets & mash still had powder in it ( not stirred properly) couldn't use gravy to soak it up as like custard with thick skin . No staff around to check meal ok

Absolutely disgusting. Glasses everywhere dirty tables food plates just left .toilets are vile no one cleans up .wait ages to be served and are very expensive .Will never go again .

Food is not bad for the price un comparison with other options in the area. Have been a few times now so clearly not bad at all. My opinion prices should be a little lower as price doesn't reflect portion size but with the increase on costs the establishment must be seeing maybe this is just me being out of touch. Atmosphere only marked down as its a seaside pub so you are always going to have rowdy people in and shirtless people sat inside and out, staff will call people out when coming in which is nice.

I called in with my son and his fiancée on his birthday with their little one we had a couple of chicken wraps and a chicken sub . The food was ok and fairly reasonable, not many people in so the atmosphere was a bit lacking. On the whole not a bad meal. Cheers Duncan, Aaron, Chloe and Harriet

Great atmosphere, clean and tidy staff always cleaning tables as quick as they could. Everyone very friendly even though it was really busy. Ordered on the app and get super fast service. Highly recommend visiting for the cocktails alone

Went in for coffee first thing and decided to go back for lunch. On our return within minutes my mum stepped off a raised seating area and fell straight forward onto the wooden floor We would like to thank all the team on duty for caring for her and calling 999 for us. Josh (P/T Fireman) was our main support from start to finish and we would like to thank him for his professionalism in supporting us. The coffee’s first thing were delicious too. Keep up the good work.

Wish I had read reviews before going for lunch. I agree with comments. Place not busy but dirty. Ordered two steak pies with mash and veg. The mash was out of a packet, and cold as was the veg. Poured the small amount of gravy over the mash and it came out in lumps…..the meal was only lukewarm. The rice with the curry chicken dish was cold, and the chips with the other dish were lukewarm. No staff about to voice our opinion to as only one person behind bar serving. We tried this establishment as we were hoping to bring a party of ten people to eat here in May before we go to a show at the Embassy in May. But on the quality of food and the place being dirty we will try the Brewers Fayre next. Very poor quality all round, and prices expensive for what you get. I would certainly say avoid at all costs.

The atmosphere of the place was nice and calm and they had football on the TV, and that's about it for the positives. Staff were very rude, made snarky comments and almost rushed you to place you order. We ordered 2 of the burger lunch meals which you get a drink with them. We were not handed them and was told after placing the order 'right thank you'. We later found out that we should have been given the drinks when we ordered so just make sure you get them before leaving. Before every receiving any food, we were given our cutlery and we had to ask for new knives and forks as half of them were still covered in food. Next, one member of our party had a steak. 1st, for a 5oz steak it was tiny and for £15, it is a rip off 2nd, we asked for it to be medium rare and when it arrived it was well done. We asked for a new one to be cooked and after 20 minutes, it arrived, still over cooked but due to the fact the rest of us finished eating, they ate it just because we didn't have time to wait. Then, another member of the party had the chicken tikka masala. The mango chutney looked like the filling of an apple crumle and the naan bread was tiny and was so hard it could be used as a Frisbee. The burgers weren't too bad. The chicken and bacon burger was nice despite the slither of bacon that wouldn't feed a mouse, and the burning hot burger being as spicy and bland and a Rustler burger from tesco. And to top it all off, whilst someone was still eating, the waitress came over to clean the table when it is common curtesy to wait until all members of the party have finished eating. If you choose to go I hope you have a better experience then we did.

The tables were all sticky and the same for the menus. The burgers were average at best. 2 small burgers on a bun with some lettuce and onion. Handful of chips that were okay. High prices for alcohol and soft drinks. Wouldn't be in a rush back.
