terrible service waited nearly 40 minutes for breakfast. when it came it was swimming in grease. One of the waitresses was petty a customer's dog(love dogs) but it was licking her hand and she carried on clearing table after. Tried to use toilet upstairs as that's what we used last visit but a very rude woman said it was now a tanning salon? so go downstairs. Won't be visiting again thanks !!

We went for breakfast and it was lovely. We had one vegetarian breakfast and a bacon bap, with 2 coffees. Both breakfasts were hot, freshly cooked and tasty. The coffee was fine. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was not particularly busy but a couple of families were enjoying the play area which looked well equipped. I would definitely go back if looking for breakfast in Louth and especially if we had grandchildren with us. They would be spoilt for choice with the milkshakes.

This cafe has the option to order from the table or at the counter. It's in a little market hall and was pretty quiet when I was there (midday on a Saturday). It is doggy friendly and they have a dog menu which is cute! Lots of food options at very reasonable prices, they do say they have a gluten free frier but I had jacket potato so can't comment on the safety of the separate frier as a Coeliac. Really good portion of side salad and coleslaw, huge mug of tea. Will definitely return when in Louth!

I was served by Tianna, according to the receipt, I asked if I would be able to get my table cleared while ordering my food and told no, I then said it’s covered in food and she said she would get round to it when they get chance. When she brought my drink she was quite rude about the gate (which has no notice on and clearly latches to block off the seating area) to leave it open so she can get through - I hadn’t even touched the gate. the lady on the table next to me noticed my ‘telling off’ and told me that she also got told off about the gate whilst being in the play area with her child. After the 30 minute wait for my food my table still hadn’t been cleared or cleaned. The food was nice enough so it’s such a shame the simplest customer service/people skills let the place down. It has a lovely play area for young children to enjoy, but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Having worked in a busy cafe for many years when I was younger, I know how stressful it can be, but manners cost nothing. The blonde girl who brought the food apologised for the mess that hadn’t been tidied. She was very polite and much more friendly to customers.

To start, I love supporting small family run businesses, but there are some that literally make it hard to support them and this is one place. My daughter is autistic and every single time over the last 4/5 occasions when we have been in the milkshakes have been unavailable for a variety of reasons from understaffed to lack of ingredients etc. I stopped taking her because it became a waste of time….this was until yesterday when we had the need due to family visiting and the requirement for space and something to do for the little ones. There were altogether 4 adults and 5 children (4,5,8,10,11 years old). When arriving (without 2 of the adults initially) we were not made to feel welcome. Whilst dealing with 5 children and trying to get food orders the first approach from the counter came about the balls in the ball pit being thrown out and this is not allowed. That’s fine, can deal with that. The child that was doing it was ours but in-spite of the later accusation was within the age limit of the play area but understand there are rules. Perhaps to take the stress out for the staff, just remove the balls (just a suggestion). We placed an order for everyone (even the missing adults) which totalled near £90. The other adults in our group return when we had the next approach. Apparently we were taking up too much space. We have 2 booths between the 9 of us. The suggestion was the children should all sit on the kiddy benches (tiny benches) and the adults in a booth. My daughter is nearing 5ft. The 11 year old similar. That wasn’t happening, We did try to explain politely but got constant interruptions by the member of staff as she couldn’t see that even with the smallest 2 on the kiddy benches we couldn’t fit the remaining 7 in one booth. It got heated because of her unwillingness to see reason. We told her we just wanted to have our food and leave. She went. We then tried to get a refund for the food that hadn’t arrived yet as by this point we were not happy to put it politely but was told the food was about to be brought out and that we couldn’t have a refund. So we decided to eat the food that we could as most was burnt. I’m happy to support local businesses but sadly this is no longer one of them.

Holiday romance!! Had a great holiday with my family. The beachcomber was amazing from start to finish. Food was amazing. The staff here are great you feel like one of the family. Always a great time weather it’s karaoke which my niece loved she’s only 10 and they encourage all ages to get up and have a go. Damien I think the dj was called, literally fell in love with him made my holiday complete. Unfortunately I lost my phone on last night on way back to caravan and lost his number but hopefully when I next visit in October he will be still there. I just hope he sees this and know I haven’t and wouldn't have ghosted him. 100 percent recommend the Sunday lunch and kids meals are great! See you in October! Can’t wait.

We called in on a Wednesday evening for tea only to be told no food until Friday! Despite the advertising outside and it being late June.

I run my dart team from here. Can I just say Sam and Lauren were great hosts. It went on a little longer than anticipated and they didn't complain they just got on with it. So 5 stars to the company and both of them. Thank you very much 😊

Food was OK nothing flash, there were 6 adults and two children . Ordered apple crumble which was sent back as there was no crumble,m on it,it looked as if it had been frozen and then microwaved. Waitress was very good she took it back and refunded it but it was disappointing as the one on show looked lovely. The main courses we had were OK, the service was quick. We did keep having waitresses trying to take our plates away when some of our party were still eating. All in all this is an OK place as long as you're not expecting outstanding food.
