WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED Old guy was dismissive and rude when we asked if our food was on its way, took 1 hour in total for everything to arrive. Took my mum here for birthday breakfast and ended up with her getting very upset due to this man being snappy and rude to her. I understand having a bad day but don’t take it out on your customers mate!

Food took 40 minutes to arrive, no clear description of the veggie breakfast. Once it arrived there were no hash browns on the breakfast as we were previously told by our server. We spoke to an older male server who proceeded to tell us it’s our fault because we ordered in a confusing way and our server said no such thing and walked away from us. Very rude customer service would not recommend.

Great place for some food and coffee during the day and in the evening it becomes a bar I believe.

I love coming to Louisa’s for brunch! The food is always delicious and fresh. Customer service is friendly and everything is served with a smile.

Really pleasant atmosphere with very helpful staff and good food and drink

We went to the inaugural Blues Night starring Sunjay and it was excellent. The atmosphere was amazing as it is an intimate venue. We had the sharing platter and it was plenty. Lots of variety. The beer was great too.

Lovely little independent coffee shop. Nicely established in the town. Limited choices in terms of food, but good quality and well cooked.

I only come to Market Harborough around once a year, but whenever I do, I always make a trip to Louisa's! The food is consistently delicious and well presented. The space is clean and tiny. The staff are attentive. The atmosphere is just delightful. Overall, a really lovely lunch experience. If I lived closer would love to try the evening menu. Hope this place is here for many years!x

This is always my favourite place to go for breakfast before I go to work in town … Louisa’s Place is always pristine and so welcoming and the breakfasts are always cooked freshly for you and presented really well on the plate. Lovely food, very polite and helpful staff

Our favourite brunch spot in Harborough! Absolutely love this place, the coffee is great, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Also love that it’s dog friendly! My favourite food here is the houmous, falafel, rocket & chilli jam bagel and I’m not even vegan!

What a great place to grab a nice brunch. Equally loving the care attention that goes into the cocktails. I'm so glad "Diddy didn't do it" Long reign the enjoyment of this fine local establishment.

Went for a late breakfast. Got the big one, with some fresh juice. Was really nice, and reasonably priced with decent sized portions. The waitress was busy but had the time and attention, and the place was clean and pleasant.

Very nice breakfast cafe. The lady of the house immediately spreads a good mood. The food is wonderful and there are tons of healthy options. The cheerful furnishings provide the rest of the feeling of well-being. I'd love to come back.

I've been to everywhere in town for breakfast or lunch and yet I keep coming back here. Why? Nothing else in my opinion has beaten this lovely place. The toast is not your average frozen loaf, sausages full of flavour, poached eggs cooked to perfection and the bacon top quality. The only place I never even leave one but of fat, one bit of tomatoe or even a bean on the plate. Lunch options very good and other breakfast options just as good. Eggs Benedict.... Best in town. For the quality and gre at service the price is very reasonable.

Staff were friendly and helpful - serving my breakfast outside of set times, and moderations were easy. Calm music and atmosphere and good prices.

This is a lovely place. They do great food and drinks. The tall polish lady is a delightful member of staff. The others are also nice.

Wanted a tasty bite for lunch - was lovely best bacon and Brie toasty and coronation chicken toasty we have both had in a long time. Will definitely try again for Saturday lunch ☺️

What an absolute gem! We popped into Louisa’s for some brunch, which was fantastic! I try to be pretty balanced with reviews, laying out the good, bad and ugly, but we struggled to find anything to be critical about. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The venue was unique, quirky, and fun. It was clean, had no loud music, and had an excellent clientele. The final bill was surprisingly low, considering the quality and portion size. Extra points for great coffee! We came at 11:00 on a Sunday morning, and there was still a load of seats and tables free.

Great food and very pleasant staff with good service

Louisa's is so great, they do a wide variety of breakfasts, included a grilled vegetable breakfast with halloumi which is delicious. They make they're own carrot juice and they'd dog friendly too.

A contemporary vibe here - quite stylish too. On Saturdays they have a regular DJ - a young chap, born after the 80s-ish era he play so that feels odd. When full, the place is really buzzing.

I called in today and ordered mushroom soup as I.have done on many previous.times. After waiting over 30 minutes I was served what I assume a very thick brown vegetable soup, I asked what soup it was to abruptly told " mushroom , we have sold it before " well it was thick, not the right colour, bits of onion skins, lumps of carrot. Mushroom I have had when I visited before has a grey colour and is fairly thin. Suggest your supplier is sending miss labeled soup. As a diabetic I did not complain as could not wait another half hour to eat. Robert

Great bar, good drinks selection and great service

Great food but what I find better is the quality of staff. Every single member is brilliant at their job and they always have a smile. We often take our toddler in and she has so much fun talking to the staff it makes our visits an absolute highlight of the day!

Perfect for breakfast - we were a group of 6 and everyone found something to their liking! Great coffee and hot chocolate too! Service was good and food all arrived together!

Disappointed- I come here regularly for lunch but was disappointed today. I ordered the bacon and garlic mushrooms on toast and unfortunately it was only lukewarm. I have had this problem with other dishes here when they are busy if people on a table order different dishes they are unable to serve them together. Mine had obviously been prepared first and then left on the side till my friends meal was ready. Not good enough I don’t expect to be served lukewarm food, I want it hot not left on the side whilst my friends food is dished up.

Food and service okay. But was asked to move or leave as my table had suddenly become "booked" and was needed in 15 minutes time. A BIG thumbs down.

Replying 'I’m surprised that you didn’t notice the taste before you drank it all' to a review of somebody who requested a milk/meat alternative is really awful. Some people have allergies and have never tasted dairy/meat, so why would they notice the difference? Mistakes are made 100% but this is a really awful response. Really put me off visiting again :(

Dear owner, I find your comment on Zoops review very disappointing. Of course your employee would say that to get out of trouble. Why are you arguing with customers? It just makes your customer service skills appear poorer. An apology for any offence that may have been caused no matter who is right or wrong in my view would be the best way to go. Dietary requirements and food safety is a serious issue and it appears by your flippant, defensive response that it means little to you.

We had breakfast in Louisa’s place recently and I can totally recommend the excellent full English breakfast. Louisa’s is a great coffee shop/bar which has always given us excellent service whenever we pop in.

The coffee from local roastery was delicious and flavorful, food very tasty and well presented. The service as dream, as it should be 5/5 I really look forward to eat here again

Absolute disregard for food safety and hygiene policies.

Popped in for a coffee today, and it was good! Latte's we've found to be "cool" in other vendors shops, but not here where it was hot and indeed steaming to at least somedegree - full marks to the team! Didn't have food, so I can't comment, other than saying what I saw going out to other guests looked fine, but let's let them pop feedback on about that. The only let down is the toilet (gents), which only had one sink and one hand-drier, both of which are as you come through the door. Little that can be done. I do appreciate that, but I thought I'd mention. On the whole, I'd recommend popping in and trying it out for yourself.

A lovely little gem of a cafe/restaurant/bar the food, drinks and service are always of a high standard. Very polite staff and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Very clean and welcoming feel to the place which makes the whole experience amazing every time.

Lovely warm evening, and we went for short walk and came across this place. We ordered inside and sat outside to people watch. Lovely smiley waitress took our drinks order and brought it outside to us. It's so nice to be served by cheery people! We looked at the menu and have decided to return to sample the food!

Just moved to Harborough and we've been told to try here. We did and it was absolutely brilliant. Lovely setting and great food. We will be coming back on a regular basis. Another gem in this beautiful town!

Coffee with a friend & we hadn't been since 2019, coffee not very hot and place was a bit depressing. Service bit lacklustre. I know it's been really tough since start of covid but if you are in this business you need to be warm and welcoming or they won't be back!

I'm getting too old for places like this. Loud music you can't hear yourself over. We were ready to have a few cocktails, but couldn't handle the noise. The drinks were nice, but a bit of a palaver getting them.

Bacon sandwich £5.95 Chicken sandwich £7.50 Very thick dry bread. We managed to eat the bacon and part of chicken but bread was awful 😖. Will not be going back.

Good food we went for brunch and it was very nice & tasty. I have also been in the evening for cocktails they were again very good although some of the size of drinks I feel could have been a bit larger .

We came to Market Harborough for a wander and found this place whilst looking for something to eat and am so glad we did. Lovely welcoming service with a smile, beautiful light and airy surroundings and really tasty food. I have already made arrangements to come back with friends one evening to try the cocktails!

Popped in for brunch / lunch. Ordered avocado and halloumi on toast and a goats cheese and beetroot on toast. Both very dry and bland, was literally just plain avocado on some bread and boiled beetroot. I had to ask for some balsamic. Could have been seasoned or had some dressing. Overpriced and underwhelmed wouldn’t return.

Being residents of the town my wife and I visit Louisa's two or three times per month. The food is always well cooked, presented and plentiful and great value. The staff are friendly and very competent. I wrote a review a few months ago after covid restrictions were eased and since then the standard has not dropped in any department.

Staff made us feel welcome and the brunch and coffee were delicious however we felt slightly cold. A nice, quirky setting.
