We were so pleased to have outdoor seating at this Mandarin Oriental spot that overlooks Hyde Park. The service is beyond A+.

This is such a quirky little hidden treasure to come and eat. The lady who welcomed us was so polite and sweet. Love all the little touches. I had an omelette and a pot of tea. The omelette was delicious and I tried my partners pancake with bacon and syrup and that was gorgeous. Reasonable prices and will definitely be coming back again

First time for us, on recommendation from friends and we were not disappointed. Quite possibly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, fresh with deliciously light batter. Hubby had the steak and ale pie which was excellent. Rick and Roxy ate the perfect hosts, really friendly, was great to bring our dogs too who were treated with a dish of treats..We will definitely be back.

10oz Steak came with one onion ring, one mushroom, half tomato and handful of chips £20.50 plate was half empty. Mushroom rissoto consisted of bowl of rissoto rice with three mushrooms on top and bread £15.50 very poor quality and grossly overpriced, mushrooms barely cooked. Very disappointing for an eighty eighth birthday celebration. Have eaten several times in the past and have always been very satisfied, will not bother again.

Ate here when on a week's holiday in Cornwall. The food was excellent. They do small plates here as well as normally sized mains, this suited me well as I usually can't eat a full sized dish. I thought the wine was expensive for what it was. The vineyards were less common than the usual ones we see here and that may be the reason.

This was the worst Fish and Chips I've ever had. 97% batter and 3% fish. The cheapest roadside diner has a similar dish. The chef walks around the restaurant with an "I'll kill everyone" look on his face, the waitresses are more interested in each other than the customers. It wasn't that long ago that no one asked if I could get my dog a bowl of water. It was just that someone would bring a bowl of water, but that seems to have stopped. What happened to the old Then Chester Arms???
