The only downside of our visit was that although we booked last Thursday and had evidence on our phone , when we arrived they didn’t have us booked in . Not a problem on a Wednesday evening but could be an issue on a busy Saturday. Every thing else was great. Lovely setting, relaxing atmosphere great decor. Staff were friendly and the service was good. We had mushrooms , pate, cod , chicken , cheesecake and affogato, all tasty well cooked and nicely presented. Really enjoyed it and will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately, no food isn't available. But there is always a fine selection of real ales available.

We popped in for a quick pint to see the start of the Manchester United vs Liverpool game. The atmosphere was so good we stayed for the whole match. Friendly banter and singing football chants, it was brilliant!

I popped in for lunch with my son in his lunch break and as always the food was excellent and the coffee perfect. I like the fact that it’s nearly always buzzy and busy but I can get a table.

Coffee is amazing and the food was delicious. Staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. I can't wait to visit again.

As fairly regular visitors to Grange over Sands we always buy something to cook either at home or in our motorhome, this weekend our choice was two Lamb Henry's marinated in mint sauce. Absolutely beautiful, worthy of any fine restaurant, just lipsmackingly good.

We always make a point of coming here if in town. It is great to support a local business, and the food and service have always been worth walking up town for. Lovely environment with great food and service

Unbelievable! Understand that it’s Not a late bar but the staff were so very rude to friends that had travelled from Manchester at 9.45 snatched our drinks & told to leave. Never have I felt so embarrassed!
