We had dinner at this pub on our last night of a Broads boating holiday. Everything about it was superb and the staff were so friendly, even bringing my little guy some olives when they heard it was his favourite. I'm so glad we only found this pub on our last night as I would have had trouble going anywhere else! By far the best pub we experienced in the Broads. Even the kids meals (which I tasted) were delicious. We are a family of foodies and everyone was very happy. My advice: do not miss this pub, you can thank me later 😘

Whilst on a circular walk around the river bure we stopped here for a nibble, we ordered 3 small plates which were on special deal. (With more options to pick) although the plates were delicious we thought there might’ve been more (quantity) there’s also a lovely farm shop at the front! Both friendly staff! There’s also a dart board at the pub which we of course had a few rounds!

Went for Sunday lunch, as not been for a while, and I know the food is good and mum not been before. However, we were put in the conservatory and totally forgotten about. I had to get up to get service for a drink and menus, get up to order, get up to pay. Service was so slow we only managed one course in 1 hour 40 minutes, and it was nowhere near full, so they missed out on us having a dessert. Only two girls on a Sunday lunchtime is not sufficient for a popular pub like this. However, Sunday roast was excellent, albeit neither the beef nor lamb were pink, which they should be.

Went for my birthday. I hadn't been since the changes had been made. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was lovely and the service was friendly and prompt. Would recommend. I had the skate which was lovely. When I ordered I thought a little high priced but on eating it could forgive that, as it was so nice. Other meals had were catch of the day and the beef and ale pie ( This has shrunk a lot from previous times, but was enjoyed) all were great. Would go again for a special occasion

Waited a while, order came wrong. Steak pie was okay but the steak was dry and overcooked. The lasagne was very dry. There was 5 couples in when we went, 3 were dissatisfied. I complained but didn't really get any satisfaction despite the staff been apologetic. Actually went somewhere else for dessert.

Have been visiting this pub since 2012 . Decided to have a meal today spent £16.75 for fish of the day. Unfortunately the quality of the food was not upto the standard this pub built its reputation on. Fish was soggy as were the chips and no salad. I know costs have gone up if you lose the quality you lose the reputation and that leads to loss of trade. A shame as is my favourite pub in the area.sorry for negative review but if you don't know you can't fix it.

Popped in for the ‘Beer & Burrito Festival What an absolute S**t show ‘beer and burrito night’. Lots of beers to choose from however on arrival a choice of 8 was available, we were told one of the other barrels had to run out before they replaced it with a beer that people may actually want to drink, also not as many as advertised. Ordered some food…. Had to stand away from all the friends and family to continuously glare at a screen waiting for my number to appear in ‘the wait area’ once my number did appear, and the ‘chef’ placed my food on a random table which was labelled as a collection point, my food was then taken by someone else, didn’t even end up with what I’d paid for, 28 min wait for some cold chips slapped with guacamole claimed to be ‘loaded fries’ 🤦♂️ not a very well thought out evening atall, such a shame! ‘Save The White horse’?? The place is definitely past saving! Community pub?? Next joke. Edit: this review was posted on a social media platform, the pub decided to remove the post and block myself from visiting the page in an attempt to hide the truth, avoid at all costs!

This was the first time we had been to The White Horse for a while. Previously the food was average, but they have really upped their game and we had two great meals that were a compliment to the chef. While the prices have risen, the quality has vastly increased meaning it gave good value. We would rather see this than pubs trying to keep food cheap for the sake of it as that doesn't work. Most consumers will pay a little more if the food is good and it was very good. We shall certainly be back again and is still dog friendly which is a huge plus for locals and holiday makers alike.

A traditional village country pub. It always has a good selection of draught beers and the atmosphere is always welcoming with a log fire in winter. If you want tiny portions of pretty Michelin star food go elsewhere, but if you want traditional pub style food, good sized portions and nice pint for a reasonable price, give it a try. Having just had French onion soup, followed by a huge plate of slow cooked ribs, washed down by a pint of local bitter, I am truly satisfied!

This was the biggest wast of £95 we have spent in a long time!! The food was terrible. Firstly the chips were cold and dry and hard…inedible. They should never have been served. The sausage and mash was so poor. 3 tiny sausages, the jews were hard and tasteless. The gravy was tasteless and tepid. The creamy mushroom tortellini was watery and sooo much garlic. Not pleasant at all. We used to come here regularly when the food was great. Charlie was the manager and it was a joy to come here. There is no way we will come back.

just spent a week staying in a cottage at Upton and popped into the White Horse every evening. A really nice community pub, well run, good food and some really interesting beer. As a beer lover I like to try new beers whenever I can and I was spoilt for choice. No generic beers but a good choice of local brews which were constantly changing. The pub is dog friendly and the team working there are excellent! What an amazing find. A lovely hidden gem of an olde worlde pub tucked away in a beautiful secluded village. The food was delicious and the portions humongous. The pies were family sized, home made and impossible to eat all of it. Everything was served fresh, hot and by really helpful and accommodating staff. If I could give 8 stars, I would. The ales were good and the atmosphere very inviting. I booked a for a party of six, 1 in a wheelchair and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed the experience immensely. 👌
