Fabulous food, great staff, excellent value in this lovely restaurant, which is close to the beach in Skinningrove. Whenever you’re on holiday nearby, this is a MUST visit.

Great food, infact an outstanding parmo, fantastic service and a good atmosphere.

Today we had the prawn salad and it was delicious, a really good portion size. When the chicken sweet and sour is on their specials I always get it, melt in the mouth battered chicken.. fabulous!

Came for the parmo and was not disappointed! Great taste, great value, great staff and great vibe!!

so good, its hard to expand on that, it was just so good, we went for midweek dinner 4 of us, one wheelchair user, accessible and a disabled toilet, great, 2 steak pies, 1 corned beef pie and 1 chicken strips, steak pie was really good, i had that, i believe the corned beef was equally so by my mates empty plate, deserts were a bit limited an heavy looking which is my only criticism, so we dint bother, probably would of if it was the weekend. was really busy for a wednesday i though so obviously popular, chips were really good, gravy boat oh yeah the staff, exemplary, they really were

Went with a group of 14 friends as the last time I was there it was lovely. On arrival the table was only set for 12. The food was avarge not as good as the previous time I had been. One bowl of vegetable and one bowl of salad for 14 people and no spoons to dish out with. A member of the party asked for a well done steak and told the waitress if she sees blood she can't eat it and that happened so she was disappointed. She had to ask over 3 times for a fork in the end we got one off another table but her meal was cold by then.The waitress seemed full of her own self important seemed to be giving us funny looks wanted to clear up so they could get washed up. When your spending over £200 you should not feel rushed

Had a lovely walk on Skiningrove beach with Buster and Mrs, and googled nearest bar, and came up with this amazing place, passed it a few times but didn't realise it was a bar/restaurant. Staff lovely, and dog friendly, we only had prawn sandwich with side of chips and was very nice , other meals looked good and was reasonable priced. Will defo be back.

This is a wonderful place, lovely home cooked food, very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and kind towards us and our dog Noodle and they gave her lots of treats and attention. Some places say they are dog friendly but aren't really when you're there but we felt so comfortable having Noodle with us here. The food was so good we went 3 times in the week we were in the village and everything we tried was delicious. Make sure you book a table as it's always busy. Special thanks to Kirsty and Nicola who looked after us all so well.

Booked for the Valentines menu and wasn’t disappointed. The staff were friendly as ever and the food was perfect. I normally have a parmo at Kaskane as they’re that good but got a trio this time as did my partner. They didn’t disappoint, the choice of toppings was brilliant and as normal they weren’t shy with the portions. It’s a shame that the trio plateau is just a one off as it was excellent and I’m sure it would be a hit if on the menu all the time….

Whenever we come to Kaskane’s we always say we’ll have something different to a Parmo, but we never do! The Parmo’s here are sensational! Served with homemade chips and a generous salad, and not forgetting to hot chilli sauce, if you’re having the hotshot! Always a lovely welcome, and the bill will never break the bank!

Had the corned beef pie for main and treacle sponge for dessert, amazing food! Service is great and the atmosphere is lovely. Really competitive with their pricing too.

There was 14 people for my mams birthday and everything was lovely, from the service the staff and the food we were all very pleased , it was first time there for my family and there were very pleased and said the foid was delicious

We had two meals during our stay in Skinningrove and they were both great. Good hearty food, great portions, not overpriced. Dog friendly. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely eat there again and recommend to others. You need to book as busy even in January.

Amazing food, freindly staff and cosy atmosphere. Even though it was New Years Day and the place was totally rammed the staff were friendly, relaxed and organised. Huge portions and DELICIOUS food. Really reasonably priced. Thanks ladies, such a great lunch. x

Great place for food & drinks. Extremely reasonably priced for both. One of the cheapest places for drinks. Outside seating front & back for when the weathers kind. Really nice inside & the staff are great. Can't say enough good things about this family run bar & restaurant!

we complained because all 4 of us had cold chips . took n heated up cold in the middle of pile still. omelette was like rubber when mentioned to waitress she said that's how we make them. so disappointed

Staying in Skinningrove, the KadKane is a must. Book if you dont want to be disappointed, especially if you have a dog, as there is an allocated space for dogs with owners. We ate like kings without breaking the bank.

Nice like cafe near the beach, decent selection of food. We had great breakfast only issue was the toast was hardly cooked.

I aim to visit during a holiday in Saltburn at the end of a good walk. Very friendly and good food.

Had a baked potato yesterday for lunch, I could have used it as a boulder, it was not cooked and was cold. The salad was dire, dry and tbh boring. Lettuce and tomato. A bit of dressing would have gone a long way. Shame because last meal here was great. In response to your reply, I can assure you I was not even offered a replacement, let alone given one. I mentioned to the female staff that the potato was hard and cold, she walked away, maybe i wasn't heard.

Great place. We tried to book in very last minute and they were extremely accommodating! They tried their very best to get us a place, which with 6 adults and 2 children isn't a small ask! Service was great, so was the food and drinks! Would definitely go back if I was in the area again

What a fab place, food was lovely and so reasonable. Service was great too, me and husband would highly recommend. Dogs welcome on the hard floor, all round top place.

Enjoyed a meal here with friends while visiting the area on Saturday evening, food and staff top draw. A special thanks to the staff however, we left behind a gift in error, and having emailed on Sunday morning to let them know they made a specal effort to go in Sunday (even though they are closed) so they could return it to us on our way home, amazing and thank you

5 of us went for tea tonight , all got parmos .all hard like they'd been fried twice and greasy also chips were hard n cold . Drink was flat and garlic was cheap awful . We told the lady and she said I'm sorry about that after paying over £70 between us going home hungry ! Used to be nice place

Went for lunch there today and had the Gammon, Chips and Salad and can honestly say that it was one of the best meals I have ever had, quality and quantity were superb and Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back.

Have just got back from our first visit to this gem of a restaurant. We've just moved up here and this is the only place to get a meal in Skinningrove but it's so good. Generous portions, great service and at an amazing price. We will definitely be back.

Very welcoming and pleasant staff. We arrived early and were allowed in for a coffee. Will certainly return and sample food.....menu looks brilliant.

We called after our walk just for a drink at tea time. Think it was mainly eating at that time but we were given a table for an hour. Thank you. Planning on returning for food, menu looked good with reasonable prices.

The place is very calming, and very clean. Food beautifully prepared and tasts very morish mmmm. Portions good size, but you can add more if needed. Vegetarian choices too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

Great meal as always, i worked at this place when it was Dennis Covells Slaughter House 40 odd years ago.

Such a nice place to eat and drink, so cosy. The staff are really friendly. The service was great. And food didn’t discount. So nice went back for breakfast following morning.

The best cod and chips with mushy peas we have had in an age . The fish was àmazing and the batter crispy and light . The pic does not do enough justice to the portion size and quality

Booked a table for a family get together there was 19 of us in total. Service was amazing the staff are all lovely. Every single person loved their meals. The portion sizes are huge and all amazing quality for the price. We love going down there it’s such a cosy relaxed atmosphere.
