Big open space, used to be a school. Good to see old places put to good use. Big screen tv and pool table makes for some noise. Large outdoor seating too if warm enough. X

Been in here many times and the staff are fantastic, food is very very good, not to many local idiots l, very nice atmosphere. We have eater lunch and evening times and the food is always great. Apparently there has been a change of chefs recently so have not been in to check.

Local restaurant used to frequent quite regularly but haven’t been for a while, visited on Thursday 17th April again, not sure if there’s a new chef since I last visited but the food has improved and standard seems to have shot up. The food was spot on, seasoned well, generous portion cooked excellently, and great service. Definite regular again. Also noticed it was curry night when I visited which seems to be a new addition and great idea I’m looking forward to trying!

We visited Sunday 13 April at 5.30 pm .when we pulled up we thought seems a bit dark and looks like an old warehouse. But oh we where so impressed with the great food and friendly staff .very good and value for money .good selection. Love the chips and parmo defo going again. The 4 of us had great hot meals. Drinks lots of choice too.

I had the Chicken parma and it was delicious. The carvery was good too. I would definitely go again when I'm up this way again.

Celebrated a gender reveal with an amazing meal and drinks. The restaurant is lovely and clean, food gorgeous, staff really friendly who go out of their way for you especially Stuart. If I could give 10 ⭐️ I would. Highly recommend

Had lunch with a friend at Reunion, have visited many times and it never disappoints. I had a half parmo and my friend had the parmo loaded fries , both were big portions , chips were delicious and parmo was cooked perfectly . Staff were attentive and friendly and it always has a nice atmosphere . Great value for money and best parmo in Teesside

Visited for a carvery and was a little disappointed. The food was average, the drinks were expensive and the member of staff who served us was patronizing and a little rude. Have been previously and have enjoyed the experience, however, this has put me off visiting again.

One word , YUM . if you get the steak pie , prepare for very big chunks ( in a good way ) got there about 5ish and was relatively quite , bout a 30 min wait but it was VERY much worth it , Was a very pretty plate of scran. couldn't fault a single thing about it . perfect

My daughter and daughter in law to be had their baby shower here yesterday and everything was great. The food was lovely and the prices are also very good. The group I was sat with all said they would return for another meal especially the Sunday dinner again. Thank you all for a great afternoon

Only thing I was disappointed with was the burgers wernt smash burgers but just average burgers, so not as juicy as I thought but still tasted good

Went at about 2 in the afternoon, it was really quiet. There was only three other tables which already had their food so we were the only people in who they needed to cook for. Had to wait 45 minutes for two burgers because the chef was stood talking to people for most of this time before he even started cooking our food. When our food finally arrived there was no apology. Partners burger was over cooked and like rubber. Dread to think what it’s like when it’s busy. Will not be returning.

Amazing atmosphere and great food, service is very friendly. Great looking sports bar fantastic variety of drinks. Food was great quality and a fair price.

It was good food brilliant for football fans and families, there was plenty of vegetables which were cooked correctly, extra gravy too , Yorkshire pudding was very good so yes I'd go back and recommend it

My wife and i found the food top class also reasonably priced also the service was very good friendly helpful staff quick service It's a very clean place with a very large indoor area with very large tv screens also with a pool table. Worth the visit shall definitely go again on a lighter note very qwerky urinals

Absolutely top drawer location. A converted 19th century school now oozing Americana vibes. Stylishly refurbished in a New York loft style with a nod to the local industrial heritage. Food on point - very tasty, decent portions and very fairly priced, decent range of beer and wine. Friendly bar and table staff. Dogs permitted. Back again for a second evening……. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Food and atmosphere were indeed superb. Only knocked 1 star off because of no coffee machine working and a wobbly table no11. What a gem of a find.

Recommend by a friend. Initial thought was ‘is this the correct place’ because from the outside it looked nothing to what I expected, but once I was inside I was really surprised how unique the place was with it once being a old school converted into a nice open bar/restaurant. The food was delicious and the bonus for me being the football was also on the tv. Huge tv’s in the sports bar.

We visited Reunion bar and restaurant twice while staying in the area on holiday. The staff were great, Stuart and Hannah and all the other staff looked after us and accommodated our needs: a large group of 10 including one veggie and one gluten free. The menu and bar had lots to choose from and the food was delicious. The place had a great atmosphere and finished off our busy days exploring Saltburn and Whitby. We even tried Parmo, a local favourite as recommended by the staff! Thanks guys! We will return if we’re back in the area 😀

Parmo was very nice, the amount of béchamel sauce was generous so had that flavour. However I do have one complaint in that the chicken just wasn’t crispy to my standards. Nonetheless, a tasty parmo and the chips were also very nice. Service was brilliant with some good beer on draft, I’ll definitely be back.

Struggled to find somewhere to eat but then found this amazing little place tucked away. Friendly staff and food came very quickly! Not to mention, the food was delicious and absolutely amazing! Massive TV with live sport on as well and the room had music playing at the perfect level. Highly recommend!

Lovely food but quite slow to come out even tho it mid afternoon and quiet

Went on a Wednesday evening with family. Great atmosphere. Food lovely. Two had parmos, one had pizza. Kids had burger and chicken nuggets. All enjoyed the meals.

Never heard of this little gem hidden in Loftus. The food was fantastic, we couldn't fonisj it all the portions were that generous. Staff warm and friendly. I like the decor, its the first restaurant I've dined in that has washer machine drums as light shades.

Great food and service amazing venue would recommend

We live locally, and finally we have a restaurant we can walk to ! It’s been a long time coming, but well worth the wait. Ok, the venue maybe a little zany, but the food is fabulous, and let’s face it, that’s what we came for! Wine choice is fair, staff efficient, and prices reasonable…..what’s not to like!

The food is great takes a while and can get quiet boring waiting but man thus place has amazing hamburgers and chips and the building is nice but is confusing to!

I was driven there by starvation (slight exaggeration there but you get the drift). Nothing wrong with it, just too modern and sports bar type thing after a long day and I just wanted a quiet chill and to be fed asap - my stomach was rumbling big time and I was getting hangry! 😂 It was a big modern open plan building, full to the rafters with families and groups of people all out to socialise and watch the sports and listen to the music. It was bustling, loud and very popular. The problem was I just wanted to flop in a chair, eat and crawl home. On a different day, an outing here with mates would have been good. Much to my surprise the food was reasonably priced (my fresh pizza was yummy), well presented and tasted good. The service was brilliant from the very young serving staff but you would need oodles of energy to work in that place, they were run off their feet. Much against my initial impression, I would go back!

Parmo, chips and garlic were spot on. Unfortunately the Mac and cheese was incredibly basic and bland (I would liken it to a microwave kids meal) - and the bun on the smash burger a bit gimmicky, whilst presenting well unfortunately very dry paired with the thickness of it (not sure if it’s a few days old or that’s how they all come!) - I’ll be honest I’ve never had a smash burger so hard to get down! Otherwise service was fine, and like I said cannot complain about the parmo.

A cool venue in an old primary school. The venue has an industrial vibe which is awesome. The food was very nice and filling. Portion sizes were good and all of us enjoyed our meals. The chicken wraps were great, paramo was huge (even the half) the steak pie was so good my friend wants to come for every steak pie hankering.

Just by chance booked a meal for three on Saturday 20/4/24, so glad we went the stunning decor was awesome from the recycled lighting, old washing machine drums and the beer barrels would love to know the designer. Then the staff so friendly and could not do enough to make our visit a wonderful experience , large sports area with big screens if following any football etc, The food was outstanding and the special lagers yummy and we were very pleased with the value for money must be the best kept secret in Cleveland, Ideal for family outings or work outings and functions. Will be back as soon as possible, keep up the good work , Excellent venue.

We where in Loftus to see a Band and asked someone if there was anywhere for some food We where told to go to The Reunion Bar which we had not heard of Wow what a surprise, the old school has been transformed into an amazing venue, The staff and the choice of drinks and food was excellent, we will definitely be back

We really loved the food at the reunion bar, it was fresh, well cooked and presented beautifully but to mention extremely tasty. The staff were perfect and the venue is stunningly well decorated. The car park and entrance from the car park were a little unusual which might be an area the owners want to look into in the future, but didn't detract from the experience. This venue is really accessible and big so would be great for bigger parties or those with mobility issues. I hope it's well supported within the community, as it really deserves to do well. We will deffo be going back next time we're near. X

Excellent surroundings and great service! The food does not disappoint, great burger and chunky chips. I defy anyone to find better tasting coleslaw. My friend had the half chicken Parmesan which looked and tasted great ! A wonderful addition to our great town which is really coming together as a destination 👍👍👍

Birthday meal for seven and it was spot on. All seven meals were excellent and great value, drinks competively priced too. Took a while to come but it was busy and they warn you they might at busy times. All food came out piping hot and delivered to the table at the same time. We all really enjoyed it.

What a jewel of a restaurant in a place I'd never expect to find it. The bar / restaurant has a modern dinner atmosphere with a good mix of drinking and eating areas, including a pool table and an area for table service. Food was excellent and very generous portions. Even though I lived in Loftus for the first 22 years of my life, I never managed to try a parmo. I rectified that tonight by trying a half parmo and it definitely surpassed expectations. I'd go as far as saying the portion sizes are huge. Even though the serving staff were rushed off their feet, they were very welcoming and friendly.

We booked a table for Sunday dinner, when we arrived we were shown to our table, but nobody told us we had to order at the bar (or that there was over half an wait on food and the Sunday dinners were running low.) So we sat and chatted for 10 mins or so before realising we had to order at the bar, we got there to be told there were no dinners left! We were extremely disappointed by this and couldn't understand why we weren't told this info upon arrival. So we ordered something else, the food took well over half an hour. The food was ok, the Sunday dinners looked lovely, just a shame we didn't get any! It was also quite cold in there despite being 13 degrees outside, so the atmosphere wasn't too good.

This place is really cool and well done out. I like the industrial chic style decor and cosy feel. The food was really good, surprisingly. I had the vegetarian parmesan. It was pretty good, actually. Only criticism is, I think the meat free 'chicken' escalope could have been a better quality escalope or better brand. Otherwise, it was good overall. My partner had a real chicken parmesan and enjoyed that, too. Bill came to just under £30 for 2x mains, corn ribs and 1 pint of neck oil. Not bad! The thing I'd change about this is NOT waiting 55 minutes for the food.

Probably the best place to eat in Loftus, but this is coming from somebody who hadn't heard of Loftus till she was in it. It's in an old converted school or something and they still have the "boys" and "girls" doors which is cool (it's not like that, everybody can enter through the girls door). The menu is vast almost to the point of being overwhelming but they've sorted it into categories to help you out. There's a whole page for loaded fries and a whole page for parmigianas etc. And a zillion desserts. The bar has good beers on tap, the servers are friendly and helpful, and the food was really good, especially the vegan loaded fries.

Great meal surroundings really nice and staff so friendly. We travelled from Normanby and it was well worth it.

Visited for a meal a couple of times during December. Food is good and there is a good selection of drinks. Service was OK on the first visit but very slow on the second visit even though the place wasn't full. I like the decor in the restaurant and the toilets have a novel use for old beer barrels. I only give three stars for atmosphere due to fact it was so cold in the building. On entering you expect to feel a bit of warmth but the radiators in the passageways and toilets were all cold. On both visits it was noticeable that some people were still wearing their coats whilst eating. Other than that I would recommend that people try the Reunion bar....just remember to take a hat and scarf 🥶

Sorry but have to say our experience of Sunday Lunch at the Reunion was somewhat of a let down. The lunch itself was very poor, luke warm and unseasoned, overall we left most of it. The staff were excellent and the design of the interior itself was unique, we wish the owners well in this new business and hope that our experience was a one off.

Went here for a family birthday and the space is very well set out in a way which is modern yet very family friendly. A mix of families, couples and groups enjoying the various areas. We had a Sunday lunch which was fantastic, the service was excellent, we were very well looked after and the meal came with more than enough veg, gravy and drinks when we requested them. Would definitely recommend and I will certainly be returning.

Tasty, freshly cooked food, good quality ingredients. Homemade coleslaw is 10/10 Sponge puddings were delicious too, beautifully presented.

We had build a board for 4 and it was amazing. There was lots to choose from from parmo, steak sub burgers chicken bites along with sides and sauces. The customer service was fantastic the gentleman that served us couldn't do anymore than what he did. We will be back very soon well done everyone at the reunion bar.

After seeing the reviews for this place and filled with a sense of nostalgia, (this building served as my junior school in the late 80s) I decided to pay a visit with my family. The place is absolutely great, I love what they have done to the building internally. The food did not disappoint; absolutely delicious and decent sized portions too. I will most certainly return on our next visit to family, in the not too distant future. If you have yet to try this place, do not hesitate.

It's was lovely from start to finish the staff were very friendly and the food was really excellent I had the Steak pie with chips and seasonal vegetables and my child had the 7inch pizza which in his words was delicious I'd definitely be coming back here.

Been looking forward to trying the food here as.its very local for us. Very impressed with the decor and my husband was happy to see the rugby was being show on the large screen. Super friendly bar staff. We were too late for the Sunday lunch so decided on the steak pie. Great call. It was one of the nicest pies I've eaten. Suet pastry not something you get very often now. Absolutely delicious. Did send me to sleep for the afternoon though. Looking forward to tasting more things on the menu soon

Had read some positive reviews on trip advisor so went with High expectations Sadly they did not come to fruition Positives. The place was an old school and the way that it has been transformed looks really good But Stripping the walls down to bear brick has left the space as a big barn of an echo chamber making it difficult to hear any conversation over the general noise of the place I have queued at a bar in a pub at half time during a football match and been served quicker at the bar than in here The toilets were made out to be thoughtful using cut down beer kegs. But. One set of toilets had no markings as to hot and cold water. The other had an empty soap dispenser I went for half a chicken. Which could have served two. But I would take quality over quantity. The size meant that the meat was very dry and the sauce (I chose bbq) was nowhere near enough to moisten the meal To my left was a steak pie eater. They ate the meat and said it was good. But the pastry and chips remained untouched as being too heavy in fat To my right was a pulled pork eater. Less than half of this meal was eaten as it was “too greasy and made me feel sick” We were a table of nineteen ( not huge in my opinion ) but were asked to order our meals in advance. Four days notice was given On the day of the meal a phone call was received to say that not all orders had a sauce selection. Surely all sauces would be stocked as a matter of course And at the meal we were told that with regards to some of the children’s meal selections, they had no sausages. Four days notice and no sausages. We were a fairly large group and this was a busy Saturday night I am all in favour of supporting local businesses so maybe give it a try for yourself But there are several other local eateries that I would choose ahead of this one

Bought three parmos to takeaway, the staff were very friendly, the place looks incredible inside and the parmos were outstanding. We had a little bit of a wait but we were warned about that and I'm not surprised as the food here must be incredibly popular. A little bit more expensive than your pizza shop parmos, but that's because this is a restraint quality takeaway .

Delicious food and good portion sizes, will definitely go again
