Fabulous cocktails - the Bananarama was soo good! Plenty of choice for meat eaters and veggies! Possibly the best veggie burger I’ve had. The jam jalapeño sauce was delicious. We’ll be back again soon.

The best thing I’ve put in my face in long time. Order was - Oklahoma, Bacon and Rosemary Salt fries. Lots of places don’t live up to the hype but Bohns 100% delivered..just so good. Lovely staff, good drinks and vibe too. Just go 👌🔥🔥

Went here as veggies on a Friday evening, seated immediately and food arrived within 15 mins of ordering. The veggie blue is phenomenal!! I can safely call it the best veggie burger in Notts by far. The only thing it’s not better than is the owners Tripadvisor responses to negative reviews 😂😂

Best burger and chips I've had in a while. When ordered with fries/side, the price is a bit more expensive than other 'burger bars', but the quality makes it well worth the extra money. Can't fault the service - we were in and out within about 45 minutes.

Tried to book a table, girl on the phone said i couldnt book. Was just a case of turning up. This was fine. When i turned up she said pick a table without a reserved card on it or check the times on the cards, so it seems you can book afterall, complete waste of time so we went elsewhere. Travelled 35 miles for nothing. Wont bother again.

We found it a little expensive for a burger and chips as you have to pay extra for your choice of chips. The choices were good, and the burgers were nice. Good vegan selection. The staff were very patient as we were at a large party. Funky place, just expensive for us. Still would recommend for a night out.

Rang to book a table. Told i couldnt book. It was just a case of turning up and seeing if one was free. This was fine. But when i turned up all the tables had reserved cards on them. So it seems you can book afterall, wont bother again. Shame as it came highly reccomended to me

1hr10 min wait for a table and then 40 mins for food, no booking system unless you are 5 people or above and they won't move to a larger premises. Huge waste of your time for bad service.

Went yesterday and was very impressed. Proper juicy smash burgers, the rosemary fries were delicious. The lemon pepper wings they had as a special were genuinely some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The service was great, very friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend.

Went here with my adult son. Burgers really good, as were the house fries. Lots of veggie and vegan options too. Prompt and friendly service. Not cheap, but well worth it. Mistake with the bill rectified without any problem. If you're looking for a great burger this is the place to go

The most delicious burgers in Nottingham! My husband and I would highly recommend eating at Bohns, the food was superb. The portions are huge and the service from the staff is super friendly. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit again. We especially suggest the loaded fries, which were amazing.

Back again for another quality burger, back to the stake mate with bacon! With a side of bacon loaded fries! Back again.. had the Oklahoma this time. I preferred the Stake Mate but still very good Second time here and another great burger! I thoroughly enjoyed the Stake Mate burger. Rosemary fries also very tasty!

We visited last night Sat 10/8/24, it was super busy however staff were still super attentive and checking on us while we were waiting, very nice people also! Bohns burgers is absolutely the best burgers in Notts, 100% recommend ! Truffle fries were 10/10. We were made aware that there would be a wait on food, and we were so glad we waited, very much worth it and we will be back!

Went for my sibling's birthday after good reviews from family last year. There's two vegetarians in our party, who are well catered for at Bohn's - with plenty of vegan and veggie options, including sides. Food went down a treat and was very enjoyable! I appreciate the concise menu too. Cocktails were tasty and plenty of choice for other drinks as well. Some of the sauce on the burgers can be a bit overkill, but I'm sure if you ask for it on the side then the staff would be happy to accommodate. Overall, will deffo return. See you next year, undoubtedly!

This hidden gem is simply amazing the quality of the burgers is unreal and also the different types of fries you can have is great. the atmostphere, the staff everything was great, its pricey but you are paying for great quality food and its a good size so will defo be going again

The best burger I have ever eaten in a restaurant (the best burger 'full stop' was from Secret Burger Club, but this is a close second). Both the burger and the side of Dirty Fries were superb and the service was polite and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Probably the best burger place in Nottingham. But slow service and noisy when full. The waitress dropped a chip on the table while serving us, and she took it with her hands to put it back in the bowl.. quite unprofessional.

Vege burger was a glorified mcplant but still decent. One vege meal will set you back £22 so very pricey. One and done for me.

Just insane. You must try it. The burgers and sauces are insane. Not only this but the sides and fries that accompany the burger are unreal. The same lovely staff are always there and are so accommodating. Obsessed with this place.

The menu boasts an impressive amount of gourmet burgers and fries with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians, though it lacks gluten-free choices—a huge disappointment as one of our party with Celiac disease had to settle for a bun-less rocket burger. The side dishes left us wanting, given their small portion sizes. If you order the chicken drumsticks, expect exactly four pieces, and note that fries are an additional purchase and definitely not for sharing. We tried the truffle fries, but found them lacking in truffle flavor. We visited on a Saturday, which was predictably crowded and noisy; a weekday visit might offer a calmer experience. Considering the price range of £12 to £15 for burgers—excluding fries—the value did not meet our expectations. On top of that, the service was below average. While the waitresses were friendly, they completely forgot one of our side dishes and inadvertently charged us for it, for us to ask them to remove it. The service also lacked coordination, as some dishes were served out of sync, arriving before other people’s dishes at the table.

Staff were very welcoming. The burgers were outstanding. Everyone chose a different one and wasn't sorry. The dirty fries were something special.

We have been today and it was delicious. Just a warning though the truffle fries are enough for two people! They are very rich but extremely tasty. I had the peanut butter and chilli jam burger today and it was amazing.

went on a work outing for drinks and dinner, amazing food, the loaded fries were incredible! and the variety of different burgers to choose from could not be complained about! very lovely and accommodating staff despite us being a pretty big (and loud🤣) group! overall a very very good experience!

Really lovely server which made it a good experience, the ice cream was incredible, and great music at a nice volume from Franz Ferdinand to The Eagles. However there was a long wait for my order to be taken, then for food (probably 30 mins) despite it being empty at lunchtime (5th April), then to be given the bill. The temperature was also quite cold inside the place. Dirty fries were 75% sauce and toppings which was too much for me, but you could share the sauce with friends if they get normal fries. The sauce/toppings were cold which was not very nice. The burger was warmer but was brought out first, then the server asked me if I wanted sauces (they give you a lot for free and a choice of any the kitchen produces which is great) and went to get them and the fries, which took another five minutes so the burger cooled down even more. Would be a good idea to ask about sauces at the same time as getting the order to avoid this. Brought out on individual cold plates - maybe heated plates would keep it warmer? Coleslaw was their own style, but it tasted weird/floral. I would rather have coleslaw that tastes like coleslaw but that is just my personal preference. You do get a lot which is great, would be good for sharing. Tea very nice but a bit expensive at £4.

Visited before the Darts at the Arena. Admittedly we thought we were going to Brewdog but coming to Bohns Burgers was a great wrong turning! Amazing burgers and fries and would definitely visit again next time I'm in Nottingham!

Unfortunately, when we got there for my sons 12th birthday 3/3/24 There were no walk-ins as they had a private event on 😮‍💨 nothing on website about it so had travelled 40 mins for nothing as you cannot book for less than 5 people and we were a 4 😮‍💨 disappointed child but ate elsewhere. We will return at some point.

With so many places to eat out in Notts why would you go to somewhere you've already been to before? Because it's bloody delicious. We can't resist this little treasure. The food is beautiful, the service is fab and they cater for groups seamlessly. 8 of us all got served at the same time and it was amazing...just like it always is. Thanks Bohns. Keep doing what you're doing. We love everything that you are about.

I genuinely mean this when I say it, me and my girlfriend both said it's the best burgers we've ever had. And we've travelled all around Europe and Scandinavia... But the burgers here are absolute next level! Theres also a massive selection for all types of diets here too. Meat eaters, Veggies and Vegans! Also the alcohol served here is great and they have a great selection of spirits. The service was brilliant and the food came out in a very reasonable time. The price was great, the cleanliness was spot on. All in all this place is an absolute must try for burgers because hopefully, you'll have the best burger of your life like we have had here 👍

the burgers are nice. staff fine. BUT £4.95 for alcohol free beer?? There is no tax on AFB so this is just profiteering? Extra cost for any mayonnaise or ketchup for fries? I understand extra cost for specialist sauces but would expect a bottle of t.sauce and mayo as a given? What next charge to borrow cutlery? Sadly, we are moving on having been long-term fans. If you've not tried, still go, our favourite is Rump Rub. Would be be nice if there were house fries without spicy "dust" on them? Just fries?

This place is busy and that is completely a result of the excellent burgers. Not the cheapest as fries and sides are extra but worth the money

Well it's nice that the humble burger is getting the attention it deserves although there is nothing humble about the burgers at Bohns. Raspberry and jalapeno jam should not even be a thing but it is and bloody hell it's good. I had the rump rub, my good lady the blue. Both were absolutely gorgeous. Moist, fresh tasting and not a god awful brioche bun in sight. If the dirty fries were any dirtier they'd be on pornhub. The halloumi fries were the best I've ever eaten. It's up there with the best burgers I've ever had and the portions are great for the price. I will come back despite it being 100miles from home

Great service and amazing burgers (just a bit greasy, but I think that might be what makes them delicious!). Good range of vegetarian and vegan options. Downstairs venue, I didn't spot a lift, so might not be accessible to all. No bookings, just turn up and wait.

Asked for a table at 8,30 on Friday evening and told kitchen closed. Town busy with drinkers and other people still eating . Really poor.

Been lots of times. My family and I like to rate burgers wherever we go and Bohns tops our list of the best burger we’ve ever had. The bacon cheese fries are also to die for! We also love independent places that do things really well and Bohns does not disappoint. So lucky to have them in our home town!!

I have had many burgers but BOHNS is THE BEST. Real juicy beef burgers, plenty of nice fillings,crispy tasty chips. The service is outstanding .Staff are so friendly and accommodating. A great selection of beef, chicken, vegan & veggie burgers. I just wish there were more BOHNS especially in London. Thank you!

This place does exactly what it says on the tin. BOHNS Best Burgers, simply are, the best. Been here a few times and it never misses, perfect food, service and atmosphere. The steak mate burger is simple, but so effective, the soft bun, tender meat, pickles, just everything. It's the perfect burger. The dirty fries are gorgeous, perfect amount of spice, meat, everything. The truffle loaded fries are phenomenal. Again, perfect. The perfect ratio of crisp fries, truffle mayo and parmesan. Every chip you eat has the perfect ratio of chip to topping. Not like other loaded fries that you'd get elsewhere where you'd end up with a load of uncovered fries at the bottom of the bowl. Hats off to the chefs on everything. Very talented. I would like to just note however, as a bit of advice, and maybe this was a one off. On the last visit I tried the BFC for the first time. I'll be honest I was slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it tasted brilliant, but was just lacking very slightly. The chicken coating wasn't very crisp, slightly too oily and borderline soggy. I think there may have actually been too much chicken in it which ended up just sliding around. The slaw in it was delicious, but not enough of it, and there could have been slightly more mayo in it. The ratios were just a bit off, which is surprising, and again I assume this is a one off. I would definitely try again. Also, please bring back the sauce menu!!!! The paper menu's are very good, but you definitely need the sauce menu back. As well as the other special burger which I never managed to try before it was taken off the menu, it used to be at the bottom on the specials list and was always out of stock. Again though, hats off, simply the best.

Probably THE best burger I’ve ever had. Wow. The kids absolutely loved it aswell and keep asking to go back. Would highly recommend if you love your burgers.

Got there slightly late and told we would have a 30 minute wait. Fair enough, I accepted that, but an hour later we were still waiting at the bar, with the staff encouraging us to simply order another round of £10 cocktails. Not overly impressed. Finally got to our table, ordered our food - and then waited another hour to get our meal. So celebrating my daughter's 21st and I was pretty hacked off by the time it came to eating, 2 hours after we arrived. I would have been happier if the manager had at least mentioned the delay and offered sympathy, but nothing was said. I would have awarded fewer stars but for the fact that the burgers are very good!

I ate in here a few weeks ago now, I had a burger and the parmesan fries and both dishes were excellent and arrived in good time. The fries were especially good! The service was also very friendly. Will come again

Attended as part of a team night out. there was 17 of us, we had pre-booked and the table was ready for our arrival. We had drink order taken promptly followed by the food orders. We did have to wait a while for the food, but slightly understandable with the size of the order.

I would recommend to anyone in Nottingham, also is in Lacemarket so a nice area where you can get drinks beforehand if you want. Useless place. Tried to book a table for 2 online but it will only allow a minimum of 5 to book and the website clearly states any smaller groups can walk in. You would think this would mean they have ample seating, but unfortunately this isn't the case. Upon arrival we were told there would be a 30 minute wait. Needless to say we went somewhere else. They need to update the booking form to accommodate smaller groups, or add more seating. Waste of everyone's time.

First time visit - will not be the last. Thoroughly enjoyed our food. Burgers were so tasty and the fries were so moorish. Want to come back and try some more off the menu. Great music too. Lovely staff! A great experience.
