I love this place. A cool and intimate atmosphere paired with amazing cocktails makes for a lovely evening, with knowledgeable and attentive staff. Definitely one of the better bars in Nottingham! I haven’t tried the food yet but from what I heard it’s just as good as the drinks.

Food here is amazing, the menu is built somehow to accommodate your stomach needs. The service is exceptional always. Even if you don’t come back for food, you may come back because of the great service they offer.

The best cocktails in Notts. Been here many times and never disappoints. You can expect to wait for drinks if they’re really busy but the cocktails are 100% worth it. Really nice interior and staff too. I’ve not tried the food here but I’ve heard it’s as good as the cocktails. I recommend the crème brûlée cocktail, a nice twist on the espresso martini.

First time visiting 31K and I had the most pleasant experience, the atmosphere and food were beyond incredible & I can’t empathise how lovely and helpful our waitress (April) was, nothing was an issue and she made sure we had everything we need. I can’t wait to try out the lunch menu and visit again soon!

Super cute and quick dinner with drinks. My partner and I turned up with no reservation on a busy Friday night - we were seated promptly by a friendly waitress who got us on a table in the corner but moved us to a table for two where the people didn’t turn up. We were in a rush so only had a starter to share and mains. We had - Smoked mackerel starter to share - Baked cod with Romeo sauce, new potatoes and tender stem broccoli - Wild mushroom arancini with sundried tomato butter, truffle fries and squash salad Drinks - Lychee mojito The food came out after a decent wait, the smoked mackerel salad was DELIGHTFUL (pickled fennel was delish) and overall we were pretty pleased with the food. Baked cod was cooked okay, was nearly overcooked but definitely not noticeably overcooked. Nice touch having the skin on. The arancini was lovely, I was expecting a bit more of potent hot of mushroom but still lovely, wished I got the romesco with it (not sure what I was thinking!)… The vegan truffle fries - SENSATIONAL, I need them again. Everything was well seasoned and cooked well. I loved the variety of veggie/vegan dishes on the menu I can only wish that it was a bigger upstairs space but aside from that cannot fault it. Also the amount of ice to cocktail is crazy - but still tasty…. I’d have them again, but if you want to go cheaper - stick to beers and wines. I would go back and definitely recommend, one of few places in Nottingham I genuinely enjoyed, sad that I had to rush to leave.

Visited plenty of times and always satisfied. Staff are lovely and attentive, food is delicious, and obviously the cocktails are fantastic. 31K really nail balance, really good value for money experience across the board.

Trendy little cocktail bar with a massive menu. Cocktails are £7 on weekdays (if memory serves) and £10 on weekends. The nuclear daiquiri really is dangerous! We haven't tried the food yet, but it looks fantastic.

31k is one of, if not the, best cocktail bars in the city. They have a great selection of craft cocktails full of classics, twists and original drinks. There's also a good selection of draught beer. It has an intimate yet lively atmosphere and fantastic customer service. The prices are already excellent value for the quality you're getting, but their happy hour prices on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are perfect for happy hour hunters and people on a budget. Perfect for dates and drinks with friends.

First time here. Sat outside and enjoyed the classic Tom Collins cocktail - thanks. The staff were friendly and efficient without being pushy. Will go back.

Visited here a couple of times now with my partner and it’s really a lovely place to go to chill and have a nice cocktail or two. The pics is great just £6 for a cocktail Sunday-Wednesday and that can be at any time. I’m aware they also serve food which I have yet to try but from the look of other peoples I’d say it’s probably quite good.

I booked 31k (their private hire space in yolk next door), for my 30th and surprise wedding. Goodness we love this place anyway, we have visited many many times over the years and the cocktails are always superb but these guys know how to look after you. Will who I emailed to organise the event made the process unbelievably simple and created the most lovely personalised menus too. David looked after us personally all night so professionally, zero stress with our games and shifting tables outside so we could enjoy the sunshine, nothing was too much, Ben made the most amazing cocktails with ease. The team were absolutely wonderful, cocktails are great and the space was just lovely. To have your own space in the centre of busy notts on a Saturday with personal team looking after is just awesome. Couldn’t recommend them enough, we had the best night. It’s very affordable to book too, if you need a private hire in notts, this is the best. Thank you so much Will, David and Ben.

Went yesterday with my 4 friends. Restaurant was so lovely food was amazing. But me and my friend that are the mushroom starter woke up 6 hours later in the middle of the night being violently sick, was traumatic and don’t wish it upon anyone. Other than that was lovely

This was my first time here and between the wonderful yet light food that feels luxurious but healthy and delicious, and the exciting unique cocktails to suit many palettes its a fast favourite for me.

Service a little slow and can be rammed on weekends. Otherwise a lovely bar. Best old fashioned in town.

Great venue with amazing food and cocktails. As the venue is small, I would advise to book a table before visiting. Even when it's busy, the staff are very attentive and always seem to be in a good mood. The menu isn't large but it works for this restaurant and it's different to other places in that you build you your own meal from the column options available. Highly recommended this place.

Visited after reading a great review from a local food critic. Unfortunately, was sadly dissappointed. Love the concept of the menu (pick an option from the 4 "lists" including a sauce, side etc, but the food was a let-down. However, the positive was the wine selection! Was very busy, which is great for the place, but overly noisy and not much room between tables (and dogs, pleasant surprise rule for a city centre venue), but not off putting for myself particularly. Food had to be returned due to a couple of elements which were inedible, but they were replaced with alternative option. A shame as was expecting a lot more, maybe better in the week when maybe less busy and they have longer to cook they're leeks! Guiness gravy was lovely, but not enough to soften the leeks and allow both my knife and teeth to get through them. Probably return, but just for the wine.

We had some food here and it was very nice. I had the mushroom pie which was tastey, but compared to the fish it was a little small. I would recommend to have the fish if your hungry. We got lucky to get a Seat, as we had not booked, so i would definitely recommend booking. Staff super nice and helpful. Great bar, and would definitely go back.

Went here for my boyfriends birthday with a large party of friends and family and it was wonderful! Very easy to prebook online, the staff were so so friendly welcoming and accommodating. Will did a excellent job of serving us, making sure we always had full drinks and were having the best time (he even wore a party hat all night 🥳), and the food was very delicious! Couldn’t have asked for a better place celebrate his birthday, can’t wait to visit again :)

Dropped in tonight (Saturday 21st January) on the off chance of getting a table. So glad we did. The drinks menu is great but the food, oh my, fantastic! Service with a smile and wonderful ambience. Worth every single star. Well done all.

I always enjoy coming to 31K for a drink - which are all reasonably priced and super tasty (definitely something for everyone). My friend suggested we go for food which I had never had before and I was very pleased with all the choices available (particularly for vegetarians) and thoroughly enjoyed my meal that I got to construct for a great price! (Think this deal applies only on Wednesdays) Will definitely be doing this again!

We came here for the first time on NYE and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were very attentive and friendly, the cocktails were unusual and tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant and the decor is really cool. The only thing I would say is that the toilets needed a good clean and the DJ on NYE kept stopping tracks so there was sometimes an awkward silence 😂 scrub up the toilets and sort out the DJ and it’s a 10/10. I have to give it a 5 though because we still had a fantastic night so thank you 😃

We had a lovely night at this venue during our winter party. The staff was very friendly and food was very good. We loved our bespoke cocktail menu which added such an amazing personal touch to the evening. And of course no night is complete without some karaoke, kindly arranged by the staff - this venue is amazing for student groups. Would highly recommend!

We had our university Christmas party here and I could not recommend enough! The food and drinks were incredible, the staff was so friendly. Communication was amazing during the planning process and the owners so accommodating to a university society. Honestly, if you're looking for a spot for a chill night out or a party venue - this is the best place to go. Will 100% be returning.

We hosted a private party here recently and it was just brilliant. The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout, really professional and super accommodating - nothing seemed too much trouble. The bespoke cocktails and late night snacks were spot on too. It's clear they love what they do and genuinely want to deliver the best service possible. I have been to 31k countless times since I discovered it, and every single time I have had a wonderful experience. The food and drinks are incredible, with 5 star cocktails at the price of only £6 from Sundays to Tuesdays. the only reason you should not go here is if you don’t want to leave obsessed!

Rocked up for a Christmas meal with some friends. Lovely friendly bloke on door. Entire Camembert for starter (I'll let you decide whether good or not) and a delicious build-you-own Christmas main. Class staff, class food and delightfully different cocktails.

Not only they serve good food and large portion, the customer service here is excellent too. I wasn’t aware that I was served a drink which is different from what I’ve ordered (Key Lime), but the waiter took the initiative to tell me they have served the wrong drink and served me another cup of drink that I’ve ordered initially for free. Such service and honesty deserves a commend.

Fantastic atmosphere and staff. I loved the menu and the ability to customise your own dishes. The beetroot tart was excellent and the madeira sauce was fabulous. Unfortunately though we both had glazed parsnips and they were really undercooked, the thin ends were nice but the vast majority of the parnsips was still almost raw. I'd either recommend avoiding the parsnips on the menu or 31k cutting then into smaller pieces and parboiling them for far longer. It was a shame because everything else was perfect, we still had a great time though.

By far my favourite place in Nottingham. Never had a bad time here amazing cocktails, amazing menus that change seasonally with an excellent chef meaning you can try so many new and different flavours here especially with the mix and match concept of the food menu. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable just everything they do here knows how to put smiles on faces and you can tell the owner takes so much pride in the business and rightly so :))))

One of the best things about 31k is the food menu. More specifically, it’s the hours of pre-visit fun spent putting together your dream combination. But, when you arrive too early on a Saturday, keen to get a table inside, and you’re confronted with their ‘breakfast’ menu instead, you just have to go with the flow. Wracking my brains, I just can’t recall having an espresso martini with breakfast before … but I just might do so again! I went for their Eggs Benedict - which was superb - but the pancakes and full English served to other tables looked incredible too.

I went yesterday because I think the environment is cool. However, it was the first time I went there for food. A) the food didn't have taste, it was plain! B) the service wasn't good. The waiter took my order wrong and when I told her, she wasn't very nice. She gave me the right one afterwards, but still not good customer service. She also took my drink without asking me if I had finished, and I still had half of it!! Don't think I will come back

Lovely casual dining experience everything from the food to service to the ambience was spot on. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and I really felt like the staff cared. Will be back soon to try more delights from this little gem!

The portions were MINUSCULE! The quality of the food wasn’t the best either. Do NOT order the antipasti as it was £15 for a tiny amount of food. The vegan meatballs were terrible. The drinks tasted great but were overpriced for what you received. The bill came to just under £100 which is a disgusting ripoff. We walked away from this “restaurant” starving and had to get food from somewhere else. For context, we have normal healthy appetites and are slim so it wasn’t just us being greedy! There are plenty of other restaurants in Nottingham where you can spend the some amount of money but you will get five times the amount of food and the quality is much better too. This is the first review I have ever left but I feel required to since we all actually felt scammed once we left the place. Such a shame as we love a lot of the other independent Notts restaurants! The service was okay. It certainly wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either compared to other places. If you are just going to 31k for drinks, I recommend going there on a Sunday-Tuesday as cocktails are affordable at £6 on those days. But I will definitely not be returning and I DO NOT recommend this place at all if you are looking to get food. We feel violated.

Absolutely amazing! I visited Friday night with my boyfriend, staff made us feel welcome and the cocktails were exquisite and are exceptionally presented, their food was no different (highly recommend the Jamaican Curry). 10/10 from us, we will be back!

Came here with my best friend for our first night out since 2020 and it was absolutely amazing. First of all we had table service, FOR DRINKS!!!, which was absolutely amazing! Then, the cocktails were only £6 each (on a Tuesday). We ordered a variety because they all looked so nice. At the end of the night, a lovely staff member told us they were starting closing so did we want to order some more drinks, which I thought was very thoughtful. The tropical mojito was my favourite. The cocktails tasted so fresh and full of flavour. I would definitely go here over larger places like revolution. The bill was also brought to us at the end of the night! Never had service like it in a bar!!

I deliver food to 31k and so know what they receive from us. Popped in tonight and was more than happy with the evening. The food was lovely. You know you've enjoyed the food when you regret seeing the bottom of the dish. Dam it's nearly gone. Lol. Also I liked the way you selected your food from the menu. Oh yes. Went on the wednesday with my partner for the two for £12 offering, brilliant value for food. No service charge included in billing which is a big plus, and staff were very kind and welcoming. However the seating next to the window isn't very comfortable.

Lovely atmosphere & great music! The food was brought out quickly and there was a great selection for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and dairy free individuals, given by the fact that you can construct your own bowl of food. Mocktails are available even though not on the menu, ask and they will let you know which are available in a Mocktails variant. these cost £4 instead of the £6 normally paid. Staff were really friendly & very attentive to our table. We went on a Wednesday evening that turned out to have 2-for-1 mains! This meant two mains and two Mocktails was £20 which is an amazing price in my book. Highly recommended.

Food was impeccable with a really intelligent menu, and a really cool process to guiding you to the right food choices. Service was amazing - quick and really welcoming too. The drinks were delicious, even the tropical mocktails! Staff were all lovely people and really enthusiastic. Try the coffee from them nextdoor in Yolk too, they are total professionals there too! Love this place every time I am in Notts.

Came on a Tuesday evening, cocktails are currently £6 instead of £9 on this day of the week. Really, really excellent quality and a vast and interesting drinks menu too. The food menu is a mix and match choice of one of 4 meats (or v/vg alternative), sauces, greens and carbs. The menu must have switched to a summer, Caribbean inspired menu, and we both enjoyed the food. We had Jack fruit 'wings' with curry sauce, roti and coleslaw, and jerk chicken, coriander lime yoghurt, rice and peas and a mango pineapple salad. The chicken was a tasty piece, skin on, though could have been more spicy. You could taste the coconut milk in the rice. Overall, nice service, good environment, but the cocktails are the star of the show for sure.
