Nice friendly pub that serves excellent food and great atmosphere. Very welcoming, excellent beer garden with amazing views.

Really lovely place! We booked here for a friend's Christmas meal and it was a great idea. Little extra things that make it better with the Christmas crackers and decorations. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to others and happily go here again out of Christmas season to try their standard menu. Look forward to it.

Had takeaway Sunday roast last week. Was so good went for sit down Sunday roast. Both times food was good quality meals were hot and plentiful definitely recommend Hickman hill for food.

Great place to have breakfast

I went here twice for a “traditional English” breakfast (during my trip to London) and it was delicious. Stuff was very friendly and food was what we expected for fair price. :) lovely place

A lovely meal served by friendly staff and excellent value for money.

We popped in for a cuppa after a walk into the village. Tea, coffee, crumpets and tea cake were spot on, as was the service from the lovely staff. Will def go back and would recommend. PS We didn't partake but the cakes looked amazing.

Drinks were ok but a 35 minute wait for a bacon roll seems a bit extreme, the downside of employing 3 teenagers to work a busy Saturday i guess.
