Fizz & Fromage in North Norfolk

We loved it here. The food is all cooked on the premises, I had a wonderful steak pie, full of meat with great pastry, whilst my wife had the best lasagne ever ...her words! So, if you're ever near Wroxham Broad just do not miss this little gem 👍👍

My wife and I met up with another couple and had a delicious, good value lunch at Fizz and Fromage. We had lunch specials: lasagne and steak and ale pie. Both were very tasty. We had a selection of drinks - all good and our friends had two deserts which looked great. We hadn't seen each other for a year and chatted on after the meal; at no point did the staff make us aware that we'd been there too long, which can be the case. All in all, highly recommended.

Our absolute favourite place to eat in norfolk. Utterly outstanding food, both savoury and sweet. Real dedication to using tasty local ingredients and the value for money is exceptional. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Worth booking as it is often busy, for very good reason. This place is fantastic.

I am never disappointed with this place. The wine is very good the food is fresh and tasty. The coffee is a real delight at 08:00 in the morning. My favourite is the chicken and bacon salad, really tasty and filling. The staff and chef is friendly too.

This is a gem of a place right opposite the train station. They pride themselves on selves on homemade produce and friendly service. I love the homemade sausage rolls and scotch eggs and the breakfasts are also very good value. Whether it’s just popping in for a coffee or meeting up with friends for something to eat, I would highly recommend a visit. A really good choice of pastries as well !!

I organised our office Christmas party at F&F, having had a successful party here the previous year with another group. Everyone enjoyed their afternoon tea and there was plenty of food, we even had doggy bags too take home for later! The staff were excellent. We were in the private room at the back and it would be very easy to forget about us whilst also tuning the main café, but we were kept in good supply of drinks, etc. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Went for a Christmas meal with friends in a party of 12. We arrived a bit early but they let us in to get out of the rain. The delicious food was brought out piping hot, by friendly staff, with perfect intervals between courses. Coupled with the excellent atmosphere, we all agreed it was a great venue !

I visit Fizz & Fromage every 6 weeks and I'm never disappointed! Just had a delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimming. Excellent food and service.

Amazing little venue and well worth a trip. Great service reasonable prices and vast menu. The photos speak for themselves. So much choice had a massive bag of cakes and treats to enjoy at home.

Lovely place but service is appalling even when not busy. Been put off ordering food Need a bit of a kick. Tried it back on the summer and waited a long time before coffee finally arrived. Did notice today although plenty of staff on moving quickly and efficiently seemed a problem

Poor choice of meat free food for lunch, hungry cyclist looking for something to eat and not given a choice of food, "sorry we can't make it for lunch" is really poor excuse and poor attitude of not really caring.. Highly recommend not going here.

Wow I love this place - ridiculously tasty and probably the biggest toastie I've ever seen

We first visited last year and had a replay today. Loved it - food delicious and well presented. Our group of 11 were all very happy and full. We've also picked up some delicious looking cake treats for later in the day. Do try it!

Fabulous. Never had a bottomless brunch like it. 2 of us had the charcuterie plate and one of us the croque monsieur. We couldn’t finish it! The fizz, food and amazing coffee make it the best value meal this year. Highly, highly recommend.

I found this lovely little restaurant while visiting the miniature worlds Wroxham, and decided to pop in for breakfast the following morning. I was very impressed. The atmosphere is lovely, with beautiful furniture, tasteful decor and music playing in the background. The staff were brilliant and very attentive, quick to seat us and bring us the menus. Then there was the food. I had the full English without beans, and it was delicious. Not to mention very reasonable at £11. The butcher's sausages were delicious, the black pudding was in a generous slice, the toast was excellent sourdough. The bacon was smoked and the egg was lovely. The mushrooms tasted delicious, and the hash browns were brilliantly crunchy outside and fluffy inside. Just all round an excellent breakfast. I had cola for a drink, but my mum had a cup of tea which came in a beautiful teapot. They also do a range of coffee and specialty teas. I absolutely recommend this place for a lovely breakfast or meal!

We've enjoyed Fizz and Fromage so much we've been back twice during our week's vacation! Delicious, fresh made food, friendly fast service and a great atmosphere and dog friendly too! We can't sneak highly enough of the team and venue. We'll absolutely visit again when in the area.

A delicious meal, full up all day. I made the mistake of having an early breakfast before going, should have had an empty stomach.

Really cannot fault this place. Staff extremely welcoming, family friendly (colouring sheets and pencils) and the food is superb with a good choice of drinks, both alcoholic (including real ale in bottles) and non-alcoholic.

What a great place to meet for lunch. The service and food were super, as was the dining area. They are also dog friendly, which was important for us.

I met with a friend for a 10am coffee, but we decided on breakfast too. The eggs were delicious, and the salmon was perfect. A lovely experience. We'll definitely return!

Great food, helpful staff, service a bit slow at times but can’t fault them really! I had the slutty butty which was delicious and the hasbrowns were so crispy.

Fizz and fromage is a very nice place to have a meal. The staff, who were fantastic, will look after your needs. The food was out of this world I nearly left some of my ceaser salad but it was too delicious.

Breakfast this morning, a shuttle butty, very nice it was too, lovely decor ,perhaps the music was a tad loud ,but not by much.

I quite enjoyed my meal here and the burger had some positive features. Definitely not the best I've eaten though and while it looked great it was closer to a burger van burger that something gourmet. However service was incredibly slow.... I appreciate they were busy but there were tables available when we arrived so I don't think they can cope. Cheese looked great though!

We were on holiday in Norfolk with our 3 West Highland White Terriers and were pleased to find Fizz and Fromage offered several tables outside. However, a customer leaving the restaurant told us that dogs were welcome inside and that the food was fantastic. Thus encouraged, we entered and were warmly welcomed to a choice of tables, even though we hadn’t previously booked. There were so many interesting options to choose from on the menu. In the end, we enjoyed a sourdough toastie each (brie, bacon & cranberry for me and ham & cheese for my husband) with a side order of Maldon salt fries. The food was indeed fantastic, the portions very generous and the service warm and friendly. Highly recommended as a dog-friendly place for lunch, though I note their website also shows they do breakfast, brunch and afternoon tea, so a return visit beckons when we are in the area again.

Just been for lunch staff were very nice but the food was awful I don’t know why so many people go I had Walsh rabbit it was so bitter I have never tasted anything so awful ☹️

Just discovered where one of our favourite chefs had disappeared to. If you haven't been here ....go. The best breakfast in Norfolk . Great quality food and reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere for breakfast lunch or dinner or even just coffee and cake. Cannot recommend enough.

Afternoon tea for a friend’s birthday. Food was great, vast array, too much for one sitting so bought some home! Good service, nice environment, will return and recommend

We had the full English breakfast, so much food, good quality, service OK although we had finished our drinks by the time the food arrived.

2nd time coming and still just as delicious, I had tartiflette & my son had this huge triple cheese sourdough toastie with fries. I also indulged in a slice of chocolate cake which is also delicious, Highly recommend and this place is defo in my top 10 places to eat

Booked for Mother’s Day Brekky, we all had full English, it was served hot and was very tasty. Service was perfect and the atmosphere was very good. Couldn’t the fault the place.

My mum and auntie go here every Thursday for coffee and cake. Went with them for lunch this week, food amazing, staff super friendly and we had the largest slice of cake ever offered. Highly recommend! Thank you for a great visit :)

Service was poor, husband ordered a bacon turnover, but after waiting for 30 mins it hadn't arrived. We had finished our drinks so paid for them and left. Lady behind the counter was apologetic for forgetting. Others seated around us also complaining about very lengthy waits. Such a shame as it seems lovely otherwise. No gf for quick snacks either.

First trip to Fizz and Fromage, living locally had been looking forward to trying it. From the start service was a little lacking, friend and I had to return to the counter several times, to ask if we could place an order, again to order further drinks and finally to pay the bill. We ended up leaving our seats and stood at the counter and waited to pay as we need to leave promptly. Food was nice but felt the experience let down by the service which didn’t seem to flow at all and in honesty felt a bit like one male waiter in particular wasn't keen to engage!

What a great little place to stop for lunch today. Decent full English and cappuccino in the sun. The options here are plentiful and the sweet treats looked amazing. Great service and nicely laid out. I would definitely come back for more

Our first visit for Afternoon Tea. This was amazing so fresh and plentiful. Sandwiches were tasty and the cakes to die for. Will we return? Definitely .....best food for a long time. Waiting staff could have been a bit more attentive .

Just visited Frizz & Fromage for the first time, and we will certainly be returning. The service is great, and so friendly. My husband had a burger and i had the mushroom languine and they were both gorgeous! Portions are large.. but we still had to try the sticky toffee pudding, which we both loved. It deserves 10 or more!!! well what a treat, we are on holiday and went today with short notice booking and what can I say....but amazing. we had the pigs in blankets baguettes and it was amazing. service amazing, staff wonderful. wished we lived closer. Best restaurant in the area!

Mark and Sophie have smashed it! Worstead Preschool ladies Christmas meal was an absolute pleasure to have here this evening. Every detail has been carefully thought about, from the beautiful plates and elegant glasses, to the comfortable and relaxing setting. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere, to the well presented and exceptionally clean toilets (believe me, these things count to us customers). You could not fault a thing. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. Mark has such a fantastic menu designed, so there really is something for everyone. Sophie's deserts were to die for! We had the best evening and will be telling everyone to visit. Wishing you both every success!

Absolutely cracking breakfast! Great service by lovely staff, lovely vibe in the restaurant, food was incredible! Massive breakfast, served piping hot along side some banging coffee! Cakes on the counter to eat in or take away too, had some lovely scones and a cheese and bacon turnover for supper (didn't need lunch after that awesome breakfast!) Really reasonable pricing too. Can't wait to find an excuse to go back!

During the annual chase the train run from Aylsham to Wroxham we ran out of drinking water for runners as they finished. The lady at Fizz and Fromage happily refilled our container and was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning for a meal and recommending to all my running friends. I love Fizz & Fromage, I have been on a number of occasions and it never disappoints. Always given a warm smiley welcome by the friendly staff, who are attentive but without being in your face. I love that they use local produce where possible, cooked fresh to order and plentiful. I never leave feeling hungry, just a few pounds heavier😂 If you don’t have time to sit and eat they have savouries and cakes to take away. They’re also have tables outside and dog friendly. Breakfast at the weekends alway seem busy so I’d recommend booking in advance but they will always squeeze you in if they can.

The only things missing that would have kicked it into 5 stars for food for would have been if the plates were hot and the hollandaise sauce was thicker. However, these would have been small changes to make it perfect. Great place, great food, lovely service, great parking which is really handy. Thank you.
