Lovely little café but not suitable for larger groups, staff really friendly and good décor, we had a really tasty lunch here with my 8 year old rating it 20/10, we are on holiday but definitely would use this as my regular stop if I could

Nice little place to eat but the choice of back ground music is terrible radio 1 blasting out dose add to a pleasant eating environment most of the customers are of a certain age and I personally don't want listen to that when I am eating it might be the choice of the younger members of staff but that being said what I had was nice but change the music please

Very busy when we went but staff calm friendly & explained the situation. Unfortunately breakfast overcooked & barely warm & baked beans were stone cold. Beans were reheated but unfortunately one of us didn't get them back till we had finished their breakfast. We would return but not if it was packed like this time. I felt sorry for the kitchen staff.

stumbled upon this lovely place on a chilly Saturday afternoon. Despite being very busy they found us a table, and the food was rapidly served and was delicious , and very reasonably priced. Staff were all happy and friendly.. they obviously enjoyed their job .

Visited Cafe Charlotte yesterday while we're here on holiday and will definitely be returning when we can. Food was lovely, I would highly recommend their "Wherrymans Breakfast" if you visit, it is well worth trying. Staff were very nice. It was 2 ladies behind the counter who dealt well with the busyness of the cafe. Our waitress was very helpful with advice on where is best to visit whilst we are here and how we must try the local pub "The Swan Inn" before going home (which we visited today, did not disappointed) It's so nice to see the local businesses supporting each other. Pricing was good considering its holiday season, so we were pleasantly surprised. 5* rating is definitely deserved.

A lovely cafe with friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and catered perfectly for our vegan and gluten free family members without fuss. We also took away some lovely cakes for a lunchtime picnic.

Lovely little cafe with a classy vibe. Managed to walk in and get a table no problem on a weekday lunchtime. Was greeted nicely and shown the available tables. There was life in the place but it wasn't too busy, it was just right. The Wee Wherryman's Breakfast was great. So was the jacket potato. Also enjoyed the scones. They have a nice selection of baked goods at the front and a nice toilet. Staff were also polite and service was speedy. Will be going back :) Edit: Also, this cafe appears to be dog friendly as there were dogs there when we visited 🐶

Top cafe! We visit when on holiday in the area, the last time being 6 months ago. Our waitress, Sammy, remembered us, gave our labrador plenty of fuss & biscuits and was so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast which arrived hot, smelt divine and was tasty. It was excellent value for money too. Thank you, your cafe is a credit the team

We walked into Stalham this morning hoping to find a dog friendly cafe for a nice breakfast and found Charlottes which was absolutely perfect. Friendly host welcomed us and our two dogs giving us a spacious table. We both had a small cooked breakfast and coffees, both were well made and delicious. I wish we were local as we’d be here all the time! Wonderful 😄

The day we dropped in for coffee the kitchen was closed so not breakfast... coffee and cakes .. shame

Nice local cafe, always clean and tidy inside. One of the nicest breakfasts in the area, very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend the homemade cakes. It can get busy so it's best to go early.

First time here, had scrambled eggs, absolutely scrumptious. So many cafes ruin this simple dish with cheap ingredients, not here though! Good value & service, thank you so much!

Dreadful, the cheese toastie tasted of old oil that had obviously been used on lots of occasions, the cafe smelt of fry ups and the door didnt close propetly so had to gey up twice to closr properly

We stopped in for breakfast and very nice it was too. It was freshly cooked and served with a smile. Vegetarian options are available. There is free 30 minute street parking nearby. I believe the cafe is dog friendly. It is located on the ground floor and the majority of tables are wheelchair accessible.

Really excellent food and service. Great presentation. Love the menu as it’s done well. A cafe with a little extra. Don’t pass it by.

What can I say it was all amazing 😁 thank you so much we have been on holiday all week and this is the only place that can make a decent coffee and cook an egg!!! All homemade food great service shame we are going home today but if we are ever in this area again we will definitely be visiting well worth the trip

Great place for tea or coffee and a cake. We went in (with a dog) for a quick drink and service and availability drinks and snacks were great! Dog treats and bowls available for dogs. Great service, staff are very friendly!

Great service, great coffee, tea and absolutely lovely breakfasts 5/6 people in our group chose the Wherrymans breakfast and we all agreed it was one of the best English breakfast we’d ever had. Having done a great walk round Hickling Broad National Reserve on a Monday, we stopped in Stalham on our way back having found a cafe on Google maps. Oh my what a lovely friendly cafe. The coffee and tea cake was delicious, I also took a slice of carrot & pistachio cake away with me it was so tasty. Great value, highly recommend.

A nice little Cafe with gorgeous looking cakes. Coffee was good, cakes had very hard filling which spoilt the experience. Service was also very slow. A real shame, as this cafe has a lot of potential.

A lovely friendly welcoming cafe offering great service, tasty food and value for money appreciated by locals and holiday-makers. Both visits during our stay locally the staff have positively welcomed us and made our black Labrador dog feel just at home too.

I enjoy a black Americano every week at Cafe Charlotte with my friends. This is a friendly, family-run cafe. We always receive a warm welcome and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Their cherry flapjack is amazing!

Beautiful coffee shop which allow dogs, had a party of 7 (4 adults 3 teens) plus 2 dogs, sat in the window and had their breakfasts (had a really cute name but can't remember it). Breakfasts were beautiful, service was brilliant and quick. We parked at tesco (only a minute walk away and you cannot reasonably park any closer). Kids loved their food as did adults. Would deffo recommend for people looking for a lovely cafe and don't want to feel out of place, we were made to feel really welcome. We felt very sad that they are not able to open the kitchens for hot food every day due to costs and not enough people going - they deffo deserve lots of custom - you won't regret it!

Really enjoy this cafe! However the last few times we visited the kitchen has been closed. This happens way too often, especially when we’re not on social media so we don’t know until we pull up and see the sign! Won’t be returning as it’s not worth the petrol waste.

Discovered Charlotte's today and had a brilliant lunch, food excellent, presentation spot on and service excellent, great value too, we will definitely be back 😀

So glad this place is in Stalham. I often stop here to write between jobs on a Tuesday morning, it's a godsend. Great customer service, excellent coffee, the best toasted sandwiches too! Having eaten here a few times now since we moved here last year, we visited again today. On entering a waitress told my husband that if he sits at the table of 4 by the door he’ll be moved if a family come in, (he was waiting for me to park the car), he asked if that was the case even if we are already eating? She confirmed even then! We took our chances anyway and I ordered a toastie sandwich on brown, it later turned up on white bread but I didn’t want to make a fuss , I mentioned the error on paying the bill and the member of staff concerned said very insincerely, “sorry thought you said white “! Then turned to her colleague and they both smirked! I didn’t want a refund or anything but wanted to mention the error as we like the food here . We have encountered this poor attitude in customer service here before when someone tries to rectify their order, but have let it go , however good customer service is as important as the food , having worked in that industry all my working life I know a reputation is built on it ! There seems to be a culture of this here as there have been some newer waitresses over this year and nothing is different. Thankfully nowhere else has this problem locally , so we continue our jaunts out for coffee and lunch , but we now feel we couldn’t return here as we’d be made to feel uncomfortable and a little intimidated again, so this time I’ve sadly decided to review it ! So nice food, poor attitude from staff 😔

We were staying in the area and liked the idea of treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast. We booked the day before by popping in when passing as knew it was a popular place. The staff were very welcoming and our breakfasts, all freshly cooked were of excellent quantity, hot drinks were lovely and my sons hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was a real hit We didn’t have any of the cakes as too full, but they looked lovely and we would have come back if we had been staying longer. Recommended.

This is the second time we have visited for breakfast after a boating trip on the broads. The staff are helpful and food is absolutely superb, we love it and will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

I drove over to cafe Charlotte as I had some work to do and had read that they were happy for people to work on laptops and had good wifi. I spent two hours here, got all my emails done and had a nice meal to boot. Staff were really friendly!

Visited Cafe Charlotte a couple of times, we tried breakfast plus tea and cake. What can I say the staff are super friendly and the food certainly didn't disappoint. Even catered for our dairy gluten free daughter. Bonus dog friendly too.

Beautiful place, food is lovely nd service is fantastic, staff very friendly and welcoming. Small seating area but feels airy and not closed in. Pricing is very reasonable definitely worth a visit. They do have a WC. Not very good for wheelchair users or big prams as not alot of space.

Great little cafe. I took my toddler and baby and was amazed at how great the kids meals were and cheaper than expected too. They were very accommodating and very good with the children too (even though my toddler is Very inquisitive, loud and lively). I would definitely recommend

Lovely dog friendly café where we stopped for an afternoon tea. Scones were amazing. If I was being really picky I'd say they should serve with two jam portions as standard, but prices were reasonable and you could buy an extra. My one suggestion would be to stay open for longer. I really don't understand why places serving afternoon tea shut so early. You're missing out on a lot of trade!

Wonderful food served very quickly by very friendly and attentive staff. The french omelette was lovely and the salad vinaigrette gorgeous as was my partner’s lovely fresh sandwich. You must also try the wonderful chocolate cake, yummmmy!

The most delicious breakfast. Nothing like good quality sausage and bacon, beautifully plated to ensure a hearty feed. Also, so obviously spotless and Covid-19 secure. Definitely one to go back to.
