Harrison's Hideaway Cafe in North Lincolnshire

Been here a few times with a mate on our motorcycles. Lovely spot overlooking a small fishing lake. Excellent find 👍👍 very welcoming, good service from friendly staff and good value to boot! Oh, and the food and hot beverages are all top drawer 👌👌 Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely place for brunch. 5 of us had the traditional English breakfast. Very tasty. If you ask for fried bread it's available and a personal favourite

We were in Brigg for a while on Saturday. We called in here for lunch & weren't disappointed with our choice of food. My smoked salmon & cream cheese sandwich was lovely it came with crisps & a small side salad. The mug of tea was piping hot. My friend had a jacket potato with tuna filling but was a little disappointed as there was no butter in the potato. One of the men had a small breakfast & the other had a large breakfast. We were mainly satisfied apart from the lack of butter. We would definitely eat here again. The staff were very polite & the service was good too.

Sorry to say this cafe was abismal. Staff on the day were sullen and almost rude at times. No one appears to enjoy being there. The food quality was below average and I was unable to finish my meal.

This place is just the very best! Admittedly I come here regularly but I have never once had a bad experience! The staff are brilliant, the food is fabulous. The breakfast menu is varied. My husband likes the cooked breakfasts, I like Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs are perfectly cooked. Lunch, the specials are good. The braised beef is my favourite but for a lighter lunch, the baked potatoes, sandwiches and paninis are so tasty. The cakes and desserts - best cheesecake and Elon mess in the area! I never go anywhere else. I once tried an alternative cafe in brigg and it was shocking. Do not change Harrison’s Hideaway. You are the best!

Have to confess that a small breakfast at Harrison’s is one of my favourite meals. Perfectly sized portion, cooked to order, tea and toast included, lovely presentation. Service is always quick and polite too.

prices a lot more than on website. sat waiting to order got ignored while people being seated after us were having there orders taken. large breakfast doesn't come with mushrooms or black pudding that's another 1.20 each so all in all over priced and bad service

We hired Harrisons to provide a buffet for our Daughters Christening, and I honestly cannot rate it highly enough, it was blooming delicious! Every single person commented on how lovely all the food was. Every item was home made and super scrummy, when I saw it all I thought oh noo that's way too much, but there was absolutely nothing left! Everyone went back for seconds even the kids!! Service was great as well, we made it difficult with asking for GF, Dairy Free and Vegetarian options as well and Harrisons were very accommodating and nothing seemed to be too much hassle, they delivered and set it up beautifully in the hall, all while we was in the Christening service. Price was VERY reasonable as well. I 100% recommend and will definitely be using the buffet service again, we are regular visitors to the cafe so already had pretty high expectations and they definitely fulfilled them. A cafe hidden away on an industrial estate in Brigg, not far from Aldi. They serve a wide variety of home cooked breakfasts , lunches and desserts. Local quality produce, speedy efficient service and friendly staff. Cater for large groups. Highly recommend.

Hideaway is right. As you drive through the industrial estate, don't be put off. This little gem is hidden next to an exceptionally pretty fishing pool. The food is wonderful. The cakes a masterpiece of indulgence. A truly wonderful café/restaurant.

The food is fantastic and the cakes will certainly be a feast the place is clean and warm they have soup breakfast and main meals.the staff are warm and friendly. Ii can recommend the place 👌

We went here for breakfast on Saturday, the 2nd of March. My wife had muffin with bacon with melted cheese. She loved it. I had a super big breakfast that was nice. The only downside of our visit was our server she come over and said ready and that’s all she said no smile no thank you After she took our order she just walked off so all we got was ready which personally I think was rude. That’s why I did not leave a tip because of her attitude. Yes they got three young girls working there but the young girl that showed us to our table, she was nice and polite, but it was just one server that did not smile, and did not say a word apart from ready we ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate and a young server that served us was more interest being on our phone and eating something to making our drinks. We got our breakfast and we got our drinks halfway through our breakfast. I couldn’t understand why the young server could not make it straight away. Instead of stuffing her face instead of eating and drinking,

Lovely proper home cooked food. So tasty and hot. The menu is varied and caters for most tastes. Spoilt for choice I had the full roast dinner with pork, which was so tender and tasty. My friend had the same but with homemade quich instead. The staff are so friendly, helpful and caring. They helped my disabled friend to the car after our meal. We highly recommend this wonderful cafe and will definitely return. Thankyou to all the staff.

Very poor breakfast eg shells in breakfast, sausages was like vegetarian really horrible. £23 for 2 breakfast so it wasn't cheap. Also sat in and soon as we sat down they was 2 others sat at the table next to us and soon as we finished they come over and put a reservation on our table not on thr table next to us or even the empty tables on our so we had no time to finish our drinks this was very rude. So in other words get out and pay crazy as they was loads of tables with out reservation on them. Am a trucker and eat in caffes all week and this is the first that I dint like and felt uncomfortable/kicked out

I came for Christmas dinner with 3 family and a friend. This was a 5 star meal absolutely fantastic couldn’t fault in any way Staff very friendly. They did everything possible to make this an enjoyable experience Michelin star

My wife and I took our 11 year old granddaughter to Harrison’s today for breakfast. We ordered two small breakfasts, both with poached eggs, both with bacon well done. Every single time it is served quickly and exactly as ordered. 👏 Our granddaughter was delighted with her pancakes, she loved them. The total came to £21 something and that’s such great value. Thank you ladies for cooking and service! 👏👏

Very busy cafe , I can see why, the food is very good ,staff are good, had lunch last week quiche was very nice best homemade chips around, enormous jacket potato loads of prawns , the cakes look amazing.nice pond have fished it once.

Can see why it is called Hideaway,really have to navigate the industrial park ,but having said that its worth it. It's next to a nice fishing pond has plenty of car arking and very clean and unassuming i chose from special board steak pie and my friend went for the trio of Lincolnshire sausages. The pie came with mushy peas but staff kindly swapped for garden peas,my friends meal came with three different vegetables and plenty of mash .My pie sadly had just a lid of flaky pasty which disintegrated as soon as a fork is put in it but the steak was plentiful and really tasty, my friend enjoyed his meal ,it was supplied with a jug of gravy.We followed it with Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake this was a bit of a disappointment as the chocolate was bars broke in half so very cold and hard and a danger to dentures . The last time I had this desserts. The chocolate was in chips and very nice ,but not this one. You need a good appetite to eat main courses as they are large.

Called here today, as we were in Brigg and heard it was very good. All tables were busy or reserved but the polite young lady squeezed us in. We only had a light lunch of omelette with mushroom and cheese. It was freshly cooked, and very hot and tasty. Place has 5 stars on the door and was very clean. I would highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable, staff helpful and polite. Will definitely go again, but booking a table is advised. This place is well hidden, and difinetly worth finding.

I had lunch here today, for the first time, and it was delicious. I had Hunter's Chicken from the special's board and I would definitely recommend. It wasn't an easy place to find, but well worth looking for. It was very busy but the food didn't take long to arrive. Everything was fresh and hot. Plenty of choices. Carpark onsite too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We called in early one pre-Christmas morning and were swiftly seated and had our orders taken. We both love Harrison's Small Breakfast - it's a perfect portion size, beautifully cooked elements, including our requested bacon to come crispy. Tea and toast is included. We haven't experienced anything as good as this breakfast in our area.

Located on an industrial site this cafe is a hidden gem which is well worth finding. Plenty of parking available with interior and outdoor seating overlooking Smithy's pond, good choice on the breakfast menu and very well priced. Breakfast is well cooked, tasty and an ample portion size with very good service from the staff.

We visited on the recommendation of Fiona, at the Goddard & Page cheese stall in Brigg Market, and what a find, what a place! Staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. My wife's brie and bacon panini was wonderful and my small English breakfast was well cooked and delicious. We sat outside in the sunshine, overlooking the fishing lake with our dog at our feet. Prices are very reasonable indeed.

Great local food in a wonderful place served by lovely staff. It's well hidden, but do find it as you won't be disappointed. Coffee was also good for anyone who likes a latte and with non dairy alternative if that's your thing. Can't wait to be back to sit outside in the sun overlooking the pond

Went for breakfast, it was awesome! Real sausages, and all the expected trimmings. Good cup of coffee and the staff were very nice. We will be back. It is well worth a visit.

Just had a great cuppa for£1 the cakes are homemade and look out of this world. Staff are so friendly. Had a run down of gluten free food available, and they will always have something, either a breakfast bap or they keep something on one side from the main menu

Called Hideaway for a reason - it's tucked away at the far end of an industrial estate but is well worth a visit. Had a "large" breakfast (two sausages, two bacon etc) and was very pleased with the quality of the food. A small place but manages to keep the tables socially distanced. Only went for food so no idea what the fishing side of the operation is like. Will be paying another visit soon.

Just had lunch here for first time & certainly won't be our last visit. Friendly staff, can highly recommend the homemade chips, delicious. Good clean & fresh toilets too, always a bonus.

Home cooked food reasonably priced

We have just been to Harrions Hideaway for breakfast which was delicious. We both had a large breakfast which had delicious good quality sausages and eggs with the most orangiest yolks I've ever seen! Very friendly staff and lovely modern interior. This place is a hidden gem.
