Really lovely food served by the trainees, it was all excellent but could maybe benefit from some music in the background to help with the atmosphere.

Lovely Homemade selection of Cakes, Pasties, Salads and Mains and very reasonably priced. Staff are incredible, very attentive and happy to accomadate to all needs. Lovely atmosphere in a historical building. This is a must visit!

We met as a work team this afternoon at the Printworks and chose the afternoon tea option for £17.50 a head. We certainly were not disappointed. The selection of food was fantastic and quality as always perfect and such good value for money. Definitely the best afternoon tea in Leeds! Everyone ate until we were full and still got to take a goody box home with us. Luke and his staff are so attentive and make us feel so welcome.

I attended as part of mothering day celebrations. The company was good, the portions were massive to me and the staff were marvellous.

What an unexpected pleasure. Needed to have a pitstop between Leeds venues and popped infor a cup of tea. Great cup of tea, scone that was sublime. Will be back ASAP.

Visited for our works Christmas lunch and it was fabulous. I love the setting and buildings it's in. It feels industrial but cosy at the same time, very cool! The student staff were all so polite and friendly, it was really nice to be served by them. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were good too. Really glad work booked this place as I wouldn't have gone otherwise (I didn't know it was there!). But will definitely be returning.

They have a very bad customer service and Because we are students, they don't allow us to sit, and first they take the food for the rest of their customers who are not students, then they give it to us, and we pay for food like everyone else, why should we be worthless to them? And on their weekly board, the name of the food I wanted was written, when I was paying for my food, they said yes, we have it, and after I waited for ten minutes, they remembered to say that we don't have it.

Excellent quality of food and customer service. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The food is lovely here. I've only been for breakfast so far, but having the team Christmas lunch here this year too. Parking is restrictive but you can get a permit from the cafe but I would check in advance if you can get one. If your not going to be long, you could park at Crown Point which is close, but you only get an hour's parking there.

This is a very pleasant dining experience. The restaurant environment is beautiful, comfortable and quiet, and the food is delicious. Restaurant Manager Mr. Luke is a very nice person. He not only chats with us gently, but also provides food delivery services. I will definitely visit again.😊👍

One of the best college restaurants in the country; thoroughly deserves its national award. I've enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches there, and on one occasion a great dinner with friends, while listening to live music and drinking craft beers....what more could you ask of a college restaurant?

Quite when I visited, but very enjoyable experience. Part of Leeds City College but the Kitchen and Bar is open to the public. Had an amazing chili with rice and is was a lovely big portion (I couldn't finish it). Excellent service.

Service is excellence and warm. Server are knowledgeable of menu, and response fast to request. Food was good, just felt a little too heavy for me from start till the end, would appreciate a little more room or time for me to rest or refresh.

First time I’ve been and we will be back. We attended the Spanish themed night and “Hola” it was a great night. So much food for the set price of £25, all cooked to perfection, great service, great singer, amazing food. Very good value for money. Well worth a visit / booking. Nice food, good service and excellent value for money

I was just expecting an average cooked breakfast when I ordered, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was very hot and every item of food was cooked to perfection. Probably the best cooked breakfast I've eaten!!

Went after medical appointments and what a wonderful place to restore spirits.. a big airy room, lots of lovely cosy banquettes and tables, beautiful and interesting historic room..exposed brick etc.. The staff team have made this place though..welcoming and friendly especially Jonathan. The food is both on a menu for sit in and some in a chilled cabinet...looking absolutely gorgeous...special sandwiches, pastries and salads and cakes(in the cabinet). Lots to tempt. We had the soup and then caesar salad and chips...it was flipping gorgeous...we took dessert home for later. Absolutely fabulous and fully accessible. 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited this venue for our AGM of Royal Society of Chemistry West Yorkshire chapter. It’s nice place with cafeteria, nice food, bar and tea coffee..

We were visiting Royal Armouries and wanted to eat beforehand so I did a TripAdvisor search. We were blown away with the quality of both the food and service. The prices were very reasonable. Next time we visit Leeds this will definitely be our 'go to' place for food.

I’m not one for leaving reviews but on this occasion I felt I must offer my thanks to the staff at Printworks for providing such a fabulous experience for my friends and I. The building itself, which has been so sympathetically restored, provided a lovely ambience to the occasion along with a warm welcome from the managers and staff. The food was both flavourful and generous with soup, chips, sandwiches, pork pies, sausage rolls, fruit, an assortment of cakes and scones with homemade jam and cream along with cups of tea of course. We had asked for one gluten free meal and one without butter on the sandwiches and our request was accommodated with separate platters. The alternatives offered on the gluten free meal were particularly delicious in contrast to many venues we have been to. The whole time we were there the staff were attentive yet professional and I can honestly say ‘we will be back’. If you want a delicious meal in an unusual venue which is value for money then book Afternoon Tea at Printworks

Ordered a hot sandwich on white bread today and it came out in brown. This wouldn’t normally be a problem but after I mentioned it to the staff, the chef told me to eat it despite them admitting to having white bread in. They stated that they are saving their white bread for other people, which I assume that as a student, I clearly aren’t worthy of. This is a massive disappointment when you pay £10 for a sandwich and a drink. The young girl was really friendly in fairness but the rest of the staffs customer service was abrupt, rude and quite frankly appalling.

Spent a wonderful afternoon with friends for a school reunion afternoon tea .I'm gluten and lactose free and my dietary needs were more than adquetly catered for.The staff were wonderful ,,extremely attentive and friendly .As a group ,we all agreed it was value for money and would highly recommend a visit .Thank you for a great experience.

My husband was an architect on local site so I was able to join him for lunch here and so impressed we went back again although it was an hour's drive away and certainly will return again It's a wow for the building lovely atomosphere and such friendly kind staff . It is a plus that the prices are very reasonable but honestly you'd pay more as the food is also wow Such healthy varieties of food and presented so well . Ps it would be totally rude not to have a dessert !!!!!!!!!!! Delicious .. Thanks to all staff .. Jill Patience

Incredible quality for the price Cruise ship standard

Wonderful place to have lunch and bring friends and family to. They have a varied, seasonal menu, as well as bookable events for special occasions such as Mother’s Day. I work at the attached college, and love coming down to treat myself to lunch.

Husband and I come here about once a month for the theme nights and have loved every one of them. Food is always amazing, the service is friendly and efficient. It's lovely to see the students there learning. The menu is always varied and well thought out, using lovely fresh ingredients and always excellent value for money. As a vegan I appreciate that Alana the chef always prepares me a fully vegan menu.

Its that time of year again and time for our annual trip to Printworks Kitchen & Bar. This restaurant is part of Leeds City College and the food is cooked by the students. We have been coming here for several years now and cannot fault it. The food is beautifully cooked and the service impeccable. Luke always makes us feel welcome. Thanks to everyone involved we will return in 2023. Xx

A group of us come here every Christmas for our meal. The food is delicious, really well-presented, and hearty portions. The staff are so attentive and can't do enough for you. It's lovely to be somewhere with a warm welcome, merry atmosphere yet calm enough to have conversation !! I highly recommend. (Must try more special evenings!)

Hidden away on University property near to the M621 junction in the City Centre. A historic building, carefully adapted. A lot of customers are students, but there's no compromise on quality and variety. Breakfast and brunch rather than main meal territory. Home baked pastries and cakes, classy sandwiches. £4 lunch deal tremendous value. Service friendly and personalised. Only slight quibble is that it appears to be a sort of table / counter service hybrid which was a bit confusing. Definitely a place I plan to visit again

Luke (and Connor) probably make the best Cappuccino in Leeds. Delicious food served with a typically friendly Yorkshire manner makes for a delightful dining (and nibbling) experience, worthy of repeated visits. We’ve recommended this venue to friends, who were also impressed 😀

Wonderful atmosphere and food the is served like a work of art

I've been visiting this cafe since I was in Printworks college and still go there whenever go past. Absolutely delicious cheesecake, brownies and generally all snacks are fresh and tasty. My favourite one is the banofee cake with caramel, bananas and foamy cream on top. Prices are affordable, good place to grab some breakfast or a snack from. 10/10

Today we thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea. It was impressive and delicious, it was also excellent value for money. Service was friendly and attentive. A very enjoyable afternoon with family and friends. Highly recommended.

Wow..Just fell down a rabbit hole and ended up at a tea party with five other guests at the Printworks Leeds. Amazing afternoon tea for five shared between six. Cream of tomato soup delighted everyone followed by buckets of chip accompanied by a great variety of sandwiches salmon creamcheese, ham , beef in horseradish ,tuna, and egg mayonnaise all served on fresh crusty bloomer bread. Small steak pies and sausage rolls warm and fresh..No jam tarts served here but delicious light bite size mini carrot or Victoria sponge cakes , decent size scones with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream .The two stands were decorated with fresh grapes and strawberries to compliment the goats cheese and celery. Tea and coffee were included. For the fantastic price of £15 per head. Ahh yes they had miniature bottles of fresh strawberry yogurt being lactose intolerant I decided to give them a miss. Really it was just in case I found myself back up the rabbit hole away from all the wonderful treats . Well done to the polite and hard working staff.

Our large group of ladies attended the Jubilee tea last week, and it was excellent . Service very good and a delicious array of food: soup, sandwiches, sausage rolls, various cakes and scones with cream and jam. The chocolate brownies were the best I’ve ever tasted! The drinks reasonably priced too. Everyone enjoyed it so much and there was plenty of leftovers to bring home too. We always enjoy our visits here as it’s a great venue for a big group, Looking forward to our next visit.

Always a TREAT! Probably one of the best spots outside the city centre. The food is absolutely DIVINE, but don't just take my word for it, go and try it out yourself. Whether you're wanting something sweet, savoury, or have room for both, rest assured every dish is made with love and passion! The staff are also a delight and really make you feel at home.

I visited yesterday with my mum and wowwww what an experience! All the staff are so warm and friendly. We were greeted by Connor who gave us such a kind friendly welcome and sorted us with a permit . Once seated the lovely Haidar was our waiter and he couldn't do enough to make our visit a happy one. He was so attentive, polite and funny, he really made my day. Then Eva brought our food over with a smile and a friendly greeting. She recognised my mum from a previous visit and remembered her which was lovely. And OMG the food. Top class. The best breakfast I've ever had and the price was so low! I wish I could visit everyday for my breakfast and will most certainly be back when I can. Would not hesitate to recommend, you have to go check it out!

My experience at this place was overall strange , the staff aren’t at all consistent and they seem to have student staff coming and going every few weeks or so. I also noticed that some of the tables were sticky but the food was overall nice.I honestly wouldn’t go back there again, not because of the service or the food but because the general vibe feels on edge and tense. The staff seem to have something out for each other and have even been seen arguing.my seat my was crumby and warm.

We have dined here on a regular basis over the past few months mainly for the breakfast menu. It is great quality and great value. Upon visiting with our elderly parents we saw the festive Xmas menu and booked for a family meal. Seven of us had the full menu. Everything was first class. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent. The service was first class. It was also great value for money. This is a great venue offering great service, quality food and superb value for money.

Tried nearly the whole menu whilst on training. Never had a bad meal from here. Everything looks so fresh and is very tasty. Very reasonably priced.

We bought the marvellous curry offer. Goodness...it's good. Lovely spicing and gorgeous onion bahji and naan. 2 proper curries and lots of choice. Totally brilliant and a choice of beer or cider £12!!Check out the mega plate 😋😋😋

The food is delicious and the ambience is lovely. However unfortunately because it's primarily run by students, the service is seriously hit and miss, mostly miss. I was overcharged and undercharged for take away items, service can be slow and confusing because you have to pay at the counter as you leave and they just don't know what's going on so there's usually a wait to pay for your meal. Sometimes good value, other times not really due to small portion size. But tastes and looks wonderful. A weird experience I wouldn't mind going through again (already been here 3x) if they ever reopen! They've still got my deposit money since lockdown and no way of getting in touch to ask for it back. Really should be personally refunded, or increased in value to encourage us to return... quite unethical.

I only recently discovered Printworks but I’m really glad I did. It is located just outside the main city of Leeds but conveniently placed and easy to find. It’s a bright, airy cafe/restaurant serving the loveliest food. Their produce is made on site and created by chefs and bakers and their apprentices. There is free parking outside (providing you ask for a permit from reception). When you first enter the building there is a well stocked deli counter, selling both savoury and sweet items and serving a variety of different drinks. The coffee is excellent and there are always tempting goodies on offer as an accompaniment to your drink. It is all very well priced and there is also the option of buying products to take home. They sell artisan bread and locally sourced free range eggs (from a family farm in Burton Leonard near Harrogate). The place has a nice vibe and is well furnished in its industrial setting. Definitely somewhere slightly different to try. Highly recommended.

Nine of us gathered for a small lunch time celebration. We had pre-ordered. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service was prompt. Excellent variety of dishes - all food was served well and plenty of it. All at very reasonable prices. Building works required and probably in progress but this did not hamper the pleasant ambience at all. The restaurant is a quality experience run by catering students of Leeds City College.

Just had the best Caeser salad outside of California ( with Chicken and Bacon ) Simple food done well.
