Vine Deli & Bakery By Residence in Leeds

If you're on a diet or limiting your portion sizes then this place will be great for you. £10 for a sandwich that consists of ONE sausage, one egg and cheese is a little steep in my experience and I've been around all the coffee shops/cafes. I'm not surprised that it is quiet at all. Will not be going back in for food. Oh also the coffee prices have also increased - maybe it's to pay for the Headingley Residence opening.

Four pounds fifty-five for a soya latte! Them's London prices. Oh hang on, I live in London and I've drunk coffee, well, everywhere. But I've never paid that much for my daily vegan caffeine fix down here. Cor blimey guv'nor.

I had pre booked an afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, and when we arrived we were not disappointed. The external was welcoming and clean, and we were greeted within seconds of walking in the door. We were seated quickly by very friendly staff who had asked about our day, and made sure we had everything we needed. Once the beautifully presented afternoon tea arrived, we were totally suprised at what was actually on it. We were thinking the usual type sandwiches, but nope, it was beautiful Mediterranean foods, an array of colours and packed full of flavour. Throughout the time we were there, staff were happily chatting to customers coming through the door, but also cleaning and ensuring the shop looked spit-spot. Absolutely made our 1st trip to Leeds a delight, accompanied by much needed sunshine to brighten the day.

Lovely, stylish cafe with friendly staff. Great afternoon tea (a slightly different take on the usual fare, but still very good!) and top notch coffee. Would recommend.

The environment of the cafe was very nice, the Nescafe cake was very delicious, the staff was also nice, but they were very serious. If they are a little friendly, their behavior in the cafe environment is much better

Visited when staying with relatives nearby and got amazing service. Had coffee and food to take away, the food (which was some of the amazing vegan options) was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was great too. Will revisit next time I'm in the area and eat in!

We visited for afternoon tea on Thursday (18Jan). We both loved the twist on the food. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff were delightful and as it wasn’t full, we had a lovely 2 hours. Great ambience and will be back.

Booked for my sister in law’s baby shower. We had the venue for 2 hours & with 19 guests. They catered for everyone’s dietary requirements and were really easy to communicate. Lovely cafe with good coffee, friendly staff and lovely (Amazing!) Food. I regularly go here for a brunch or late lunch. Easy space to bring your laptop and work for an hour or so, or to bring family for a lunch out.

I went with a friend, we had an amazing brunch! Savena was super friendly and welcomed us very well! Sara took our order and made sure everything came to us correctly. I enjoyed Irish coffee.To eat, I ordered a Croque Madame, but without the prosciutto. Chef Matt was very thoughtful in preparing the order without the prosciutto and it was delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and sooo beautiful, perfect for a coffee with a friend or to take the family. We had a lovely time there, I’m exited to come back soon!

Today I went to Vine by Residence for the second time is less than 3 days. I went there on Thursday with my husband. I had the Vine Breakfast and a hot chocolate and he had the Cowboy Beans and a cappuccino. Everything was so delicious that I decided to get back there today with my friend. Today she and I had an amazing brunch! We were welcome by the supper friendly Savena. Sara took our order and made sure everything came to us correctly. I ordered Falafel & Hummus Deli Sandwich and a cup of hot chocolate. Everything was so yummy!!! Chef Matt was very thoughtful in preparing the order without the prosciutto for my friend and she really enjoyed her meal. The café is really beautiful and well decorated. It’s a perfect place to take family and friend I totally recommend it and I am excited to come back.

Fantastic place excellent staff super helpful, amazing food (how you elevate a baked potato to that level I’ve no idea) highly recommend the roast veggie and pesto baked potato just check on the pic!! And a nice place too. Will definitely return.

Facebook I found wasn’t being used, but business is registered on google and menu is accurate per their website. I had the vegan banana bread French toast and oat milk cappuccino. My guest had a handmade sausage roll. Nice surrounding. Has a small outdoor space great for sunny afternoons as the cafe is open until a generous 4pm. They offer afternoon tea and take bookings.

Lovely clean Deli, afternoon tea was fabulous, it is different to other places but that’s what I like. The staff are great and catered for my allergies.

Popped in today with my toddler. Like an oven inside, no AC and no fans. My drink was ok but the customer service was really lacking - Server very disinterested. No napkins given etc. Took ages to take my order despite it being quiet. To make matters worse, the server took someone else’s order first who arrived after i did. Flimsy and awkward seating outside on a slope. Menu looks interesting but business looks like there is no heart and soul.Won’t be returning. *EDIT* based on the owners response I would like to clarify that upon entering the shop I was infact told by the server to take a menu and that he would come to me and take my order. Otherwise I would have ordered at the till. Another customer was infact served before me. Thank you

Wonderful Coffee and Brunch. My fourth visit and every time the food has been perfect. From Banana Bread French Toast to Halloumi Stack with homemade baked beans. Did I mention the coffee? Thankyou to Rana and the team behind the scenes. Highly recommend.

A group of four friends had a sparkling afternoon tea here yesterday and it was soooooo lovely. The staff are so lovely and helpful and the food was lovely. The baklava in particular, was out of this world and when I mentioned how good it was to the lady (mum of the owner) she told me she handmade it herself. I purchased three sandwiches , two of which were chicken on a bagel. The chicken was lumps of dark meat which should have been slices of white meat. The lumps of chicken would not stay in the sandwiches but ended up on the plate. Very disappointing.

Lovely atmosphere and great place to go for brunch and catch up with friends. Hot drinks were really good, the food was very tasty and it’s a very instagramable place and plates! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the waffles! It felt they were warmed up and not fresh. But I will definitely go back 😃
