Lovely roast dinner, great service and a lovely little pub with a really nice garden and at the top of town so away from the hustle and bustle, highly recommend the roast and the garden on a sunny day!

Great coffee and the apple pie was like grandma used to make.

Stopped for lunch last week for our first visit. Lovely old pub with a great garden next to the River Misbourne with Carp and Ducks.Very friendly and helpful staff.Great choice of food on the menu. We both had a ploughman's, which was excellent. Only problem was that the portions were a little on the small side. For the price, would have expected a bit more on the plate. Would have been 5 stars if meal had been a larger. Will definitely visit again.

Foods good all home cooked good produce Would come back

We used to be regulars here, when I tell you the atmosphere has gone downhill fast, I mean fast. We have visited twice in the last week and both times we felt uneasy, unwelcomed and almost a hinderance to the middle aged woman serving behind the bar. Sad to say I won’t be returning to The Bridge anytime soon.

Slow service , is an understatement , 15 mins for a milkshake , when my family were almost finished their drinks when mine appeared . The 2 girls , looked as if they didn't want to be there . Won't be back

Dear Hawkers Bar and Brasserie Team, I’m reaching out to share my thoughts on my visits to your establishment, which have unfortunately left me disappointed despite returning multiple times in hopes of a better experience. On several occasions, I’ve noticed consistent issues, including a lack of beer availability and disengaged service from staff, even senior members. What stood out most during these visits was the lack of engagement—there were no greetings, no warmth, and it often felt as though customers weren’t welcome. Staff frequently prioritized tasks like cleaning cutlery over acknowledging or serving guests, which was both disheartening and unexpected. The atmosphere is beautiful, and I believe Hawkers has so much potential to offer a great experience. However, the shortcomings in service, coupled with the premium prices, lead me to feel that the value doesn’t match the cost. This seems to point to a need for better training and management oversight to ensure the team feels confident delivering top-tier hospitality. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps you identify areas for improvement and allows you to elevate the experience for future visitors.

Ordered the Philly cheesesteak burger and a Kinder Bueno waffle. Was little delay so they through in a free biscoff milkshake. Food was 10/10. The waffle was insane could of ate another 👌

We wish we could meet people like her everywhere. Few have the experience, kindness, warmth, and understanding that she showed in this profession. Despite almost all tables being reserved, Ms. Paulina didn’t hesitate for a moment and managed to find us a spot. In many places, we would have been told to wait. But for her, it was no problem to accommodate us immediately! We sincerely thank you for the wonderful service, for your advice, and for explaining what the dishes consisted of. A quaint, interesting facade and inside is as enchanting.Upon entering there were three members of staff loitering no eye contact and in fact served another before us even though we were clearly waiting, it is unclear where to get service from, however once you have established and engaged with the staff they are efficient and friendly. The coffee is amazing, strong, hot and flavoursome, we had some cake too looks homemade, unclear whether it was but also very delicious, vegan options available. We had pottered around Cirencester and were looking to spend money in a local non chain coffee shop and were pleased we stopped by.

Been here for the first time today, great atmosphere, wonderful staff, 5star service all round. Will definitely be coming back when the kitchen is up and running, family friendly, dog friendly, and a great line up of entertainment for the upcoming months.
