Mustafa was brilliant, his service, his food delivery and advice on which items to order. His suggestions were great! A1 service. Food was great, we ordered the mix grill for 2, masala fish and fries and mixed loaded nachos with a strawberry mohito and lychee spritzer. We didn't have to wait long wither for our food, it was quite fast! Thank you

Very nice pub, had the gaa on which was nice. Looks a bit mad with the cage at the front door but i like that. Extremely rude staff, both staff members were so rude, unfriendly and unhelpful when serving me.

Well we live in Australia where pubs have all the atmosphere of a warehouse and our visit a to the Queens Head yesterday made me wish I still lived in England. We’d had an unexpectedly long walk through the village of Troutbeck and my daughter was not feeling well, and our lunch here totally redeemed the day. The menu was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we ate and there was much swapping around of things from plate to plate. The pate was rich and smooth. The bread board was enormous, the olives tender and the dipping bowl kept us guessing - olive oil, balsamic and honey? My son thoroughly approved of his chicken burger in ciabatta and wolfed it down. As he is now eighteen he enjoyed a pint of Dizzy Blonde with it. My palate is better on wine but I had a few sips and that was a very nice beer - smooth and a little bit flowery, in a good way. I had a delicious shandy and the manager was very gracious about my indecisiveness about what beer to have it made with - so much choice!! It was bloody delicious. The other great thing about this place is that it’s in a building which is several hundred years old and has been fitted out with incredible grace and style. It’s the perfect English pub - low ceilings, wooden beams, firesides and comfy seating and dogs. I’d come back in a heartbeat and in fact might just make a special trip before we head off down under again. Stonkingly good.

This was a last minute break and thought we would try somewhere different to where we normally stay. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room wasn't quite ready so we sat in the beer garden and had a drink while we're waiting (we did arrive early) The beer garden is a lovely spot to sit and relax and watch the world go by. We stayed in the Sage room, which was a nice size, clean, and very comfortable. We booked to eat in the restaurant, and the food was exceptional, full of flavour, freshly made and good sized portions. There is nothing that we could really find fault with. My only suggestion is that maybe there could be an option for fresh fruit, yoghurt, and ceral for breakfast, having said that breakfast was good value for money. We would like to thank all of the staff for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing.

The place is clean and nice. Their menu is simple and best value for money are their set menus. Food was good.
The staff paid great attention to the person with allergies which is good. The cocktails were tasty tho we asked if the lava cocktail was looking like a lava lamp. Which was confirmed, but then came a juice looking drink because they had run out of the lava element. If you knew we ordered it for that, why not telling us?
Anyway, overall good place but not outstanding in any way.
Wow un almuerzo fantástico - el ajo salvaje era increíble junto con la papa real de jersey - tan sabroso y la mejilla de ternera era hermosa y tierna junto con el postre Wowsa
El servicio fue amable y atento
Almuerzo perfecto ❤️
Had lunch here with a friend yesterday, restaurant was full when we arrived at 1.30 but we didn't have to wait long for a table, and we were able to wait in a lovely bar area, with a delicious Virgin Colada. We shared mixed tempura, a spicy tuna sushi, maki & the special beef stew type dish. Everything was absolutely delicious, it came out very quickly even though every table was full, food looked beautiful and it was reasonably priced, especially for the quality. Staff all very friendly. Couldn't reccomend highly enough, just wish I lived closer as I would eat here at every opportunity!
Allan Park is part of a trio of wonderful hotel-restaurants. The staff are really friendly and professional, there's a good selection of real ales, and the food is delicious. I especially recommend the Sri Lankan vegetable curry. This is a place I bring guests and visitors, as well as go myself every chance I get. There's parking at the back and it is situated conveniently on the edge of the centre of Stirling. Highly recommend a visit.
Really lovely staff. Nice super colourful decor - the blue windows really stand out (in a nice way) compared to neighbouring buildings. Prices are good. Food isn't great to be honest - we had a combination of dishes but none were particularly well flavoured so can't say I would recommend or visit again unfortunately...
