Great food, extraordinary service, reasonable prices!

We have been coming to Durum for years and all I can say is that this restaurant never fails to disappoint. The food is super tasty and the extras they include like the bread,dips,baklava,Turkish delight and Turkish tea add to their generosity. In addition the staff are super friendly. Definitely a restaurant for everyone to try.

Best Turkish in north London, great food, service and atmosphere

First time here, and we will surely come back !!! The place is often busy so we thought we give it a try. Highly efficient, clean and even fast !!! We took 2 different house red wine glass, both very good, and lamb cubes and lamb mince both well grilled and delicious !!! The rice that came with was delicate and again nice, and the mix salad was fresh, crispy, clean and harmoniously coloured. Yes the food and service were excellent compare to other places, not the cheapest but surely worth it as of excellent quality. They also offers us some free onions to taste and some baklava sweets. So yes, we enjoyed the experience, we will be back, i a can dearly recommend it. … we are 2 italians not easy to please with food, but this place has brilliantly satisfy our expectations. Thanks.

Mr. Azo, a staff member who provided outstanding service, took the time to recommend several vegetarian dishes. He even arranged for a special vegetarian falafel wrap with a hint of garlic spice, which was absolutely delicious. Azo’s recommendations didn’t stop there; he suggested some incredible Turkish sweets and tea that were the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. His friendly and humble demeanor made the dining experience even better. He clearly knows the menu well and has a genuine passion for ensuring guests have a great experience. The chef, affectionately referred to as “uncle,” is truly a master of his craft. The dishes he prepares are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We have been coming to Durum for over a decade, and the food is always great. Best chicken shish in the area, it’s always so soft, juicy, and tasty. Salad is nice and fresh, and there is a great selection of starters both hot and cold. The staff are always nice and friendly too.

Honestly, as a vegetarian, I must say I couldn't be happier: the starters were beautiful several dips with an awesome bread; I had a moussaka with salad for the mains; and as dessert (surprisingly I found space for that) I had watermelon, something that look like a panacotta (amazing) and some really tasty baklavas. Also, Azo's service was on spot. Definitely recommend it.

Had an amazing Turkish dinner here! The cold mixed mezze selection and the mixed grill was delicious and the portions were enormous, we even took the leftovers home with us! Excellent service from Avo and his team and great value, we will definitely be back.

I ordered the Iskender, which was simply outstanding. The tender meat was perfectly seasoned, and the rich tomato sauce over the fluffy pita bread was heavenly. It was served with a side of creamy yogurt that complemented the dish beautifully. For dessert, I indulged in their baklava, and it did not disappoint. The layers were crisp, with just the right amount of sweetness and a delightful hint of honey. To top off the meal, I enjoyed a cup of traditional Turkish tea, which was fragrant and served in the charming small glass cups that added to the authenticity. First time here, ended up paying over 50 quid for a mixed platter for two people. the portions were horrible. 2 wings, a few sliced bits of lamb and doner Kebab. they forgot to serve me the lamb chops as advertised in the Menu. The plate was basically half empty. The food was average. I felt robbed. the only reason i came here was because Turkish gobble which is nearby ran out of kebabs. For 20 quid more i could've paid Kervan restaurant for a Jumbo Platter. Seems like theyve increased their prices by 40% since the start of july from looking at old menu photos posted here.

Recently, I visited the restaurant with friends and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We ordered some kebabs, which were delicious and of high quality, clearly made with fresh ingredients. At the end of the meal, they surprised us with a large dessert platter, including baklava and other Turkish sweets, along with tea—completely free of charge. Overall, the service was exceptional. I highly recommend here and will definitely be returning.

We’ve been coming to this gem of a restaurant for years. The food is excellent and service consistently friendly and good. The quality of the food is much better than a lot of other fancier venues and we will keep coming back here. Strongly recommend!

We went to the place by making a reservation for a group of about 10 people. The service is very successful, the appetizers and salads are fresh and delicious. The doner and grill varieties are incredibly successful. Highly recommended. Cleanliness and hygiene are top notch. We had a pleasant evening. I highly recommend it. I will go again as soon as possible
