Booked the top floor of the place for a event which was at 12 was told by a member of staff that the shop will be open for us at the given time, we reach at the shop to find it closed they ended up opening the shop 40 minutes late which ruined the whole event. The attitude from the female who had he face caked in makeup was absolutely disgusting she needs to learn how to speak with customers, she ruined the whole experience not only that the shop was in absolute shambles when we entered 40 minutes late we had to more or less clean the mess ourselves their was dishes from the previous night left on the tables. Just to add to the experience at the end of this horrific experience we were then told to pay £140 in service charges absolutely amazing Go at your own expense definitely not worth it many other good places out there don’t waste you money at this place. ( you need to fire the women who had cake all over her face ) she’s the main reason of me leaving this review

Very bad customer service. I booked for an event just to turn up expecting my guests at 1pm to find the place shut!!!!! With shutters down. Very very poor management. These people need to teach there staff how to deal with customers. The place was filthy .please avoid this place. The lady managing bookings is extremely rude no sence of politeness .

It was nice and quiet, service was good. Food was average but cannot say it was bad. Price was reasonable. I would come back again.

Amazing service and excellent dessert, we had the Victoria sponge cake with custard and chocolate concrete cake with custard, I can honestly say the concrete cake was the best I’ve had in Birmingham, I am a foodie.

Ordered from Pink coconut last night for a bit of dessert, I ordered 2 chocolate chip cookie doughs with ice cream and 2 Kinder milkshakes. I was handed 2 separate bags, when I opened the first drink bag one of the drinks had fallen over and spilled everywhere (This could’ve either been the delivery drivers fault our a packaging fault, idk). I then opened my cookie doughs and was a bit confused because it looked like a brownie, after trying to dig my fork into it I realised it wasn’t a brownie it was just black because it was burnt. The cookie was COVERED in chocolate as well which makes me think the restaurant knew it was burnt and just tried to hide it, which is honestly the most frustrating part about this whole thing, just the laziness to re-cook one. I then opened the ice cream and it was completely melted. You can check my account I have never reviewed anything in my life, but the lack of customer service and quality from Pink Coconut was honestly shocking. I wouldn’t recommend.

Ordered on Uber for this evening, two cookie doughs. Ordered the special which said 3 cookie doughs of your choice with strawberries and vanilla ice cream. I specified what flavours I wanted, specified no white chocolate and then awaited the order. It came with different cookie doughs to what I had ordered, which were completely dry - more like dry overcooked cookie than cookie dough! They were also covered in white chocolate which I requested not to be. The ice cream was just frozen lumps of flavourless ice. Certainly won’t be ordering from here again!

Visited for the first time.It was really amazing experience. Environment was peaceful. Sevice by Sonia was fabulous she was very attentive. Overall I liked there waffles. Waffles was 10/10.

I would not recommend visiting Pink Coconut. I was absolutely appalled with the service I was provided with. I ordered fresh orange juice and was charged £8.00 despite the menu stating it was £2.95. The juice was not fresh and tasted very stale. I would have been better off getting a carton juice from the supermarket as it tastes better than what I was served. Absolutely disappointed with the service and would not recommend anyone to go here.

I’ve been here a few times and like the Matilda cake. Sonia is a hard worker. Nice place on a busy road to relax with mates.

All these 5 star reviews must be fake. Got the cookie dough and it was so bad. The cookie tasted stale, was extremely dry, had weird plasticy after-taste to it. The worker was decent enough but the food was terrible, so many better options on Ladypool Road

Crepe 5* , Cookie Dough 3* didn’t like it much, however milkshake was tasteless ( perhaps needs to use ice cream machine with a nicer ice cream mix, i recommend “Comelle” , there is room for improvement 🙏 as this place is nice hence I am giving 4* overall, I must compliment the crepe again as it was spot on 🤤.

I had the very bad idea to stop there on the 22/02/2025 for a double espresso to take away The wait was 15 minutes and there was just 3 customers inside. I was given a glass a glass full mostly of boiling water that I was unable to carry. Since when a double espresso fills a large cup that you can’t even take away cup ??? I was in a hurry and the waiter clearly was not bothered and clearly did not give a damn. So I left the glass filled mostly of hot water (this was clearly not anything close to a double espresso) at the restaurant that I was charge at a premium price of £3.90 Bottom line : do yourself a service and avoid this place at all cost.

Walked in on a busy weekend night and was seated immediately. The kind server greeted me and was very patient in giving me a table and menu etc. Ordered the Rainbow Cake and Pink tea which were incredible as they were both warm and filling while being presented with generous amounts of whipped cream. My total came to a little more than £10 but the server said that £10 was fine. I insisted on leaving a tip which he kindly refused he is very friendly and was very respectful. Overall, a great experience I recommend the inside is modern and beautiful with lights and designs creating a great atmosphere.

Absolute negative environment. The workers are rude and so sly. I went the other day and they didn’t know I spoke the language and they began talking rubbish about me. Honestly, they are just copying other dessert shops.

Me and two other girls did a trial shift at Pink Coconut. The environment was disgusting, especially in the kitchen. The floor was dirty, the tables were dirty the utentsils were dirty and had a pungent smell. On the wall of the shop, they say they want to hire female staff but did not give us anything after keeping us there past the time we were supposed to finish. I highly recommend you avoid this dessert shop as the shop is unhygienic. They make you work so much, and they barely do anything as we are doing most of the work for them. We expected to be paid, but we got nothing, especially when they kept us for 4-5 hours.

came here the other day,was served dessert it was okay but seeing the woman in the kitchen crush up the biscuits on the floor completely put me off…and i asked for water twice and got ignored,probably wont come again ever..

The atmosphere was okay but I just don't understand the aesthetic because it was all pink and no coconut and I don't really complain at restaurants but this was the one of the most disappointing experience I've had from a dessert shop . Ordered 2 orange juices and a rainbow cake rainbow cake was 2 out of 10 but the service of orange juice was abysmal . The man put in the amount of 1 glass in two and filled the rest of it with ice and these were the milkshake glasses that have narrow bottoms so it was finished in one sip . Ad was left stabbing at a block of ice with a metal straw .All in all got robbed because one was £5.95 won't be going back again

We ordered orange juice and only received half a cup as the rest was ice. The service was extremely slow with staff running around. We saw the man picking up our rainbow cake with his hand which was unhygienic. It took 35 mins for 2 orange juices and a slice of cake and the orangs juice wasnt good at all. We were also given the incorrect bill as we were given someone else's which was a lot more than what we were meant to pay.

What a place to spend couple of hours before new years eve. We ordered several desert dishes and all were very tasty. Service was perfect and we got our order on time even though the parlor was quite full.

Pathetic service. We have been waiting our order for long time. When we asked them they said we have cancelled the order without confirming so we have to order it again and when they served it the strawberries were wrapped with hair on cookie dough. When we complained about it the guy tried to dodge us with removing the hair quickly. Totally unprofessional and un hygiene food . Expensive though. Please spend carefully.

Behind the Instagram-worthy aesthetics—like the flower wall and swing—this place falls short where it matters most: service, amenities, and the quality of the food. The dessert was extremely disappointing. The milk cake had disintegrated into a mushy mess, making it unpleasant to eat. While the cookie dough was passable, some desserts came with chocolate-covered strawberries that were well past their prime, leaving an awful aftertaste. The cleanliness was also unacceptable. The toilets were unkempt, with urine on the seats, which immediately raised concerns about the overall hygiene of the establishment. To top it off, the staff member handling payment seemed unprepared. When we opted to pay cash, she informed us there might not be enough change in the till, which felt unprofessional. Finally, this place seems unwilling to accept constructive feedback, as evident from their defensive responses to negative reviews. It’s clear improvements are needed in several areas.

It was sooooo good I planned a surprise for my friend right there at the shop and all of my needs where met the food was amazing I just asked for a candle on the cheesecake for the surprise and the owner went all out and got a sparkler for us and place on a plate with decorations we could play our own music and he even took photos of us

I visited Pink Coconut yesterday and tried their Ferrero Rocher shake, tea, and lava cake with ice cream. Everything tasted amazing, and the staff were super friendly. Mahi and Noor were especially welcoming and made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend this place! 💯

Chocolate brownie party for £10 and an absolute waste of money, a small round side plate with few pieces of old tasting brownie, 2 scoops of ice cream and frozen strawberries- very disappointing no wonder the place is empty. Everytime u go the standard slips, Danny was doing a good job with presentation and making the desserts fresh but he wasn’t there.

One of the best desserts in B'ham , tbh staff is really lovely and kind , i would like to mention one of them "Sonia" she helped us choosing the right stuff for our choice and it was awesome. 10/10

Pink coconut. One of the best places i have been in Birmingham. It is pretty and very Pink, If ur looking for a place that is the one! Not to mention, there was a swing u can sit, Very good for a date. For the staff, Very good service! Sonia and daniel i have to say well done. If I was there manager straight up promotion! Come here 2 days in a row now and both times slow service with no only 2 customers in the shop. Tuesday was a young girl and today Wednesday 13/11/24 @ 15.23 a young guy with a white shirt and black trousers. Was on the phone on loud speaker from the moment we got there to the moment we left. We order chocolate fudge cake and custard and concrete cake and custard. The guy literally picked both desserts up with his hands in front of my face which is is just disgusting. We waited over 10 mins for him to microwave custard. Bit of a joke really when there was only two other people in the shop who had already eaten. Safe to say wont be returning here especially when there are so many places to choose from
