Very casual. Mushroom wings really hit that junk food spot. Loaded fries portion is huge.

I’ve had about 5000000 vegan burgers and this was the best by far. Deep fried pickles were amazing too. Staff were great, very friendly and really quick service. Will definitely be back!

BA-HA is a vegan kitchen situated inside the gorgeous Rainbow Pub. The venue is lovely, restored two years ago but has lost none of the charm. I arrived as they opened to relaxed music and a warm welcome. I understand it can get quite lively later on in the evening and the music louder with it. Empty on my arrival but it soon began to fill up with more people looking for a Sunday roast too. There were three options for mains, I went with the King of Roasts which is a chick’n style main made of oyster mushrooms and crumbed. This was accompanied by a mix of potatoes, roast and mash, good selection of veg, stuffing balls and the all important yorkie pud! Honestly one of the best vegan roasts I’ve ever had, absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be returning and trying some of the other dishes on offer.

Fabulous food by Ba-Ha in The Rainbow pub. We regularly meet our vegan friends for Sunday lunch and have a great time.

Unfortunately we are unable to rate the food as we turned up as a group of 5 only to be informed that the kitchen had closed at 6pm and we ‘should’ve’ received a call to state that the food had ran out for the day! To top this off, we were advised that this has happened before… not a great thing to admit. Completely unacceptable as we were celebrating a dear friend’s birthday and the booking had been made over the phone 2-3 weeks in advance. We were offered drinks and an apology from the manager however this was not good enough and decided to take our business elsewhere.

This place is fully vegan and the food is just out of this world. As a meat eater I was fully satisfied with my meal. Has the Korean barbecue wings just to die for. Will be back on Wednesday where you get 20 wings for £22.00 Fantastic friendly service the waiter engaged with us and had a little conversation which makes a change from general transaction of conversations we have these days we’re waiting Staff. Atmosphere was great and nice decor. Cosy spaces.

It’s hard to put such good foods into words for a review to be honest. Vegan or not…. You just need to get yourself here. The menu is varied, the staff are so friendly, the quality and quantity is just out of this world. My partner and I have been here 4 or 5 times and every time we are back in Birmingham we make sure we go. The Kentucky burger is our fave & has never disappointed. Mac n cheese is delish, as is the Sunday roast! 💯 Even writing this I’m salivating 🤤

Love this place, great vibes, fantastic vegan food, staff are super friendly and service is fast. I had the Millionaire Mac, garlic butter Kentucky wings and Lemon Berry cheesecake, which were all delicious! Located 12 Min walk from bullring shopping centre and inside the Rainbow pub.

Some of the best vegan food I've had. Frickles were fantastic! Bish and Chips with mushy peas and curry sauce were delicious. Staff were great. I was there on a quiet Tuesday night but people were in no hurry to leave which is a testament to how cosy and friendly this place is.

Amazing food, we got the wings with bbq sauce, millionaire mac n' cheese, chicken and waffle and panini. Everything was amazing but our favourite was the wings and mac n' cheese. Workers were really nice and the atmosphere was very good. If you arenin Birmingham and looking for some good vegan food this is the place, I will definitely be coming back.

Myself and a mate of mine went for bottomless brunch. Which included 2 starters/sides each or 1 main each plus Unlimited sweetshop cocktails/beer (can't remember which one) and prosecco. Service is quick which is exactly what you want! The food is all vegan and coming from a non vegan the fake chicken wings were absolutely delicious! All the team were lovely. Luke was very on the ball with service & also had good banter too. Cheers all x

The food and drinks were amazing, and I couldn't fault them. Super tasty dishes which were really good, especially when compared to their meat counterpart. The issue was the service, I ordered a drink and some food and was made to wait nearly an hour for the drink. Many customers had received their drinks before I got mine, even though they had ordered after. I didn't receive any apology for the wait, which would have been greatly appreciated. I was also served after a customer, who had come after I had came to the bar. I'm not sure why I was treated this way, but it truly made the experience horrible.

Such a nice place!! Cocktails and food were delicious and the servers were super kind. It was my friend’s birthday and they were very helpful with the cake candles and did a shot with us (gave them to us for free) to celebrate! My one complaint is that there is no option to tip on the card reader, and I had no cash so I couldn’t tip. But this is a great complaint to have haha

Lovely place... traditional pub but just vegan food.

First off, it's amazing that it is fully vegan/plant based, we have been three times now. And they have just brought new stuff out as well. The kentucky burger is next level, double patty as well. Massive and comes with a Good amount of chips which is great. We came yesterday for the roast. Unfortunately it wasn't a good as what we hoped, maybe because it was busy and they was rushed, as it took a very long time also come out aswell. and it's wasn't very big which was annoying. 7/10 the roast. Will definitely be back to try to main menu though.

The best place in Brum for vegan-alternative guilty pleasures. The BaHa staff and the Rainbow staff are all ace folk. Could do with them turning Sky Sports off but I can appreciate some people like that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Brunch at the Rainbow in Digbeth, our host Luke (the long haired one) was an absolute star. He simultaneously brought the fun and made us feel incredibly comfortable, and genuinely made an amazing afternoon for us. The cocktails were fantastic, and the vegan food was creative and tasty. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing vegan food, had brisket stew in Guiness gravy, loved it, highly recommend.

I came in around 4PM, ordered the Bish & Chips and tucked into a delicious vegan fried banana blossom and chips! The staff were all friendly and I felt safe.

We visited on St Patricks day and I cannot praise the staff enough. Great service and a few laughs, I especially liked to espresso martini Guinness mash up, delicious 😋 it was very busy but we didn't have to wait long for food (which was great by the way) or drinks. Thank you for making our paddies day special.

The best Vegan food I've ever had before. I'm usually hesitant to try vegan food only because it's a new world of food to me but oh my lord I could convert right now. Portion sizes are huge and great value for money, Taste is 11/10 Unbelievable! I have to come back and try everything 😅 Service took a little while but the staff took notice, plus perfection takes time. Highly recommend especially to those who might never have tried vegan food before, this is perfect to jump in and try

I come every year for my birthday, it's my favourite place. The food is always amazing. The people who work there are so lovely (huge thanks to Luke and Laura who served our bottomless brunch today, they were amazing ❤️). The pub itself is just the most cosy vibe. Couldnt recommend baha enough!

The food at ba-ha is incredible. A vegans dream! Portions are huge. The flavour is chefs kiss. The service is extremely friendly and with a smile! My husband is not a vegan, not big on vegan food tbh and even he wants to go back! If you haven’t tasted the food, do it!

I went here with my boyfriend last night for my birthday dinner. We had heard of Wing Wednesday through social media and I've been dying to try it. It did not disappoint. The Portions were huge, it was verrrryy tasty and the service was excellent. We also had some cocktails and the server (long haired man) was brilliant, recommending cocktails and generally going above and beyond to help us. Can't wait to come back

We went for wing Wednesday. Luke (the long haired one) knew all about the menu and was able to recommend sauces and drinks yo go with the meal. The food was fantastic and so was the service. I cannot reccomend enough even as someone who isn't vegan

Great place for food, drinks and cakes - all amazingly vegan. Staff are super friendly and I would highly recommend as a special occasion or a night out as they do have live music too. It’s not the cheapest of places to eat and drink but you won’t be doing this every day so it’s worth it. Photos say it all - me thinks!!!

I’m a coeliac and it’s always great to see gluten free options, but it’s even better when the food and service are very good too. I highly recommend you give ba-ha a try as I will come again. My only suggestion would be to add the plant based burger to the menu if it’s possible, however they do have gluten free burgers which is what I had

Went for bottomless brunch and it was incredible!!! The service was excellent - Luke really looked after us was very knowledgable and quick with drinks, and the drinks were really yummy and we definitely got our moneys worth with bottomless! The food was amazing, as a vegan it’s difficult to find things that aren’t dull, but this was really flavourful (check out the picture too, so impressive!) and one of the people with us on this visit wasn’t vegan and couldn’t tell that the food was! The courtyard and atmosphere of the Rainbow pub was great too, very chilled. Will 100% be back for brunch or just a general visit because it was brilliant!

The best veggie roast I’ve ever eaten! I used to be a meat eater and the only time I miss it is when I want a roast. Now I’ve found BA-HA I’m so happy, the portions are plentiful, the lentil loaf was delicious and the roasties were so crispy and fluffy. I can’t wait to go back to try more options!

The food here is delicious! Amazing vegan restaurant, quite a few gluten free options. The place is cute but doesn't quite work, maybe it's a bit small for the people in it.

Brilliant at everything. Service is great, food absolutely marvelous, atmosphere is perfect, music likewise. Overall, an excellent outcome.

After hearing that Baha does the best vegan burgers, we had been waiting a while to try but were sadly disappointed. The Kentucky burger (vegan chicken) was ok, chicken was nice and crispy just a little difficult to eat. The Baha burger was a big letdown - the patty was quite dry and claggy, more the texture of a flapjack than a burger and it was quite bland - although the onions were nice. One of us really didn't like the vegan brioche buns, but the other thought they were fine. For £27 for two burgers and fries we would expect a step up from the cheapest possible ketchup :') Chips were fine. The coleslaw was really good - the best part.

Im not a vegan but I really enjoy eating there, had the shroom burger with hot sauce & the Mac n cheese and it was delicious, wide range of options on their menu, also had turkey and stuffing grilled cheese at digbeth dining club event, highly recommend it

I love vintage settings so much and Ba-Ha gave me classic vintage. I was engrossed in my conversation and forgot to take lovely photos of this beautiful spot. Staff were friendly and polite Food was great Portion was great Sitting arrangement is perfect. They have some really cute looking chairs 🪑. Easy to locate except the name issue Walking into Ba-Ha left me with imaginations of who the first owners of the house now converted restaurant & bar were. The mirrors, kept me wondering who looked into them first 😅. It felt like vampire diaries. Ba-ha… I think something needs to be done about the confusion with the names. Had no idea it was also called rainbow, that made me walk an extra 5 mins. Thanks to the owners for preserving history

me and my husband absolutely love baha! it's our favourite vegan restaurant to visit and always come here for special occasions. they had just updated their menu the day before we came so we had a fresh bunch of food to order from and it was all delicious. the shroom wings with hot sauce were my favourite out of what we ordered, absolutely unreal. the bar staff were also super friendly and helpful with letting us know what their favourite items from the menu were which made ordering our food a joy in itself. the vibes are immaculate here. if you're vegan (or not for that matter) and you haven't been here you need to get yourself down to baha! can't wait to come back already!

Ba-ha patty was worth the visit!

we came here for our anniversary and ordered the chikn n ranch loaded fries, kentucky burger with korean bbq sauce, shroom wings with hot sauce and mac and cheese, with hot fudge sundaes for dessert. top quality, we were so full and everything was delicious. the korean bbq chikn was ridiculously good. we were told it was a new addition and i hope it stays around for a while so i can keep ordering it in future. bar staff were also incredibly friendly, and were really knowledgeable on all the products. can't wait to come again!

So many flavours and options and a good vibe! We had Kentucky mushroom burgers with different sauce flavours ( bbq and I had garlic ) and ordered some OG loaded fries ( fair warning though the burgers already come with fries which we didn't realise) nevertheless the both seasoned and loaded fries tasted delish and we took the extra ones home. The burgers and cauliflower bites were also brimming with flavour and they do some nice mocktails and cocktails.Overall I would highly recommend! Will defo go back and try some other items on the menu 🤎

I traditionally eat meat, but I'm also perfectly happy to eat vegan meals too, as long as they're tasty and satisfying. In fact given the choice I'd actually prefer not to eat meat due to moral concerns. The only challenge for me has always been not being exposed to enough good vegan food, not enough variety. And this was why I was so delighted to discover that @bahaveganuk has a special 241 offer on at @therainbowpubdigbeth. This gave us the incentive to give it a try, and I must say, the food, service, and value is absolutely fantastic. Vegan or not, I'd highly recommend giving @bahaveganuk a try at @therainbowpubdigbeth

Vegan food heaven! Love everything on their menu - and have never been disappointed with anything that we've tried. Whether we spot them at a pop up or come eat in, BA-HA is spot on. Go hungry and don't wear high waisted jeans like I did that one time.

Had the festive che*se toastie at Herbert’s Yard. It was absolutely delicious! So flavoursome and really reasonable price, would absolutely recommend for vegans and beyond - you’re missing out!

Best vegan food in Birmingham. Been several times and am never disappointed. The Xmas turkey grilled che*se is an incredible sandwich.

My partner & I regularly make the 2 hour round trip just to eat at Ba-Ha. We particularly love the Sunday roasts. The staff serving at the Rainbow are always lovely too. Just only wish we lived closer so we could support this amazing independent business more!

I'm very conflicted with this place. It has a fully vegan menu but no indication of what cocktails/drinks are vegan. Thankfully the bar staff are knowledgeable enough to make you something to your requirements. I had an espresso martini (which was not on the menu) without the sugar, as they could not guarantee this was vegan, and this was very good. The food was delicious with one glaring exception; the dish I had was INCREDIBLY salty due to the vegan parmesan crumb on top. A real shame as the constituent parts were lovely, but the salt overrode everything else. A, rather large, miss step in an otherwise very nice dish.

Brilliant vegan food. I brought my Mum here who is a veggie and we loved the fact we could both eat non-animal products that we enjoyed. I had the King Kentucky which was very tasty, and Mum had the Mac Daddy burger. To quote her “the best burger I’ve had” Will definitely return and recommend, especially to meat eaters who have veggie/vegan friends/family - you will still enjoy something on the menu

Came here for a bottomless brunch and was amazed that not only is it 2 hours but also a the food provided is far greater servings I’ve ever had at a bottomless! The food is amazing and I can’t fault the service, our waitress Lindsey was so lovely, welcoming and supportive on when we didn’t know what to order, I don’t recommending the best options, I had the Kentucky Wings and Kalamari and they even said I can have a take home box because the food servings are that HUGE. I cannot fault this place! Fantastic atmosphere as well. Definitely will come here again, just for the food alone!
