Alyssa was the best host for our bottomless brunch - she was so quick on the drinks, she made everything run so smooth and she made us all sing happy birthday to our friend! Thank you Alyssa <33 the bestest xx

We had Archie for a cocktail masterclass and it was amazing! He. Was very patient and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great experience. The cocktails were great and I liked we were still able to make theatrical ones for the masterclss instead of just classic cocktails. Highly recommend

Alissa was an amazing host she was helpful, welcoming and an absolute vibe. She made both mine and my friends experience here one to remember and we will definitely be back the food was LUSH

Our waitress was very attentive. However the food was extremely bland and no where near what I would spend nearly £50 per person for. The food tasted like cheap frozen food, extremely disappointing and to top that off the whole restaurant was freezing cold and as a result of sitting in such a cold temperature for the duration of our meal I became ill after and spent days in bed. Safe to say we will not be returning.

The staff were very transparent with us upon arrival. Although we were on time for our booking, they told us that the previous table hadn’t left the table, so they were not ready for us, but we didn’t have to wait long and reassured us that the table was soon to be ready. Our waiter Abbie, was really attentive, and served us well, when we complained that the chips were not hot enough, she was quicker to exchange them and got a new batch. She was quick to serve and made the day special as it was for a birthday.

Way too loud. Couldn’t have a conversation! Food was ok. Bagels were chewy then hard Poor value

I went to Aluna for my birthday yesterday (we were a group of 20), and it was so lovely! The vibes were great, the food was delicious and the staff were so nice- Rebecca was so sweet and she did an amazing job!!

Alicia was a lovely girl, really made us feel welcome and attentive with her service.

We had archie take us on a 3 drink cocktail class and it the best bit of fun we've had in a while. Would definitely reccomed couples and friends groups to come and experience the same. We will definitely be back.

My friend and I dined at Aluna on Friday. The food was fantastic, well presented and tasty. We shared a few starters (we over ordered tbh) The cocktails were delicious . The music was on point. The magician with his card tricks came over to our table between courses and blew our mind…. Still confused as to how he pulled those tricks off….. will definitely return again soon….

We had a bottomless brunch here on Saturday. You get 90 minutes to eat and drink. It to9k half an hour to get first drink and another half an hour before we got a second drink. They were a bit quicker after that. We were seated under the speakers which were very loud…. I asked to move but they said no … although there were empty tables. I did complain and was told they were short staffed. They obviously do the brunches in sittings, so everyone arrived at the same time! Not great experience although cocktails were nice.

Amazing bar with a view of the canal. Cocktails and cocktails both available. Loved the dark & fruity! Highly recommend

Tom was amazing as a host. He hosted our cocktail class and he was really accommodative and he really looked after a group of eight. Tom is a great addition to the Aluna team and you guys should really give him a bonus!!

sooo disappointing. We went on a Friday night so did expect there to be more people,music etc. but it was literally like eating in a night club. Might be okay for drinks but as a restaurant I would avoid - unless you like sticky tables, dirty menus and toilets with vomit everywhere.

I came here for my 22nd birthday, and it was lovely. The place has a nice vibe, the drinks and food were great and the service was fantastic. Our server was Rebecca and she is a credit to the place. Would deffo recommend and come again.

We were here last night. Food was exceptional, we had soft shell crab to start which was absolutely delicious. Then had Beef Massaman and Chicken Panang, both equally as good. HOWEVER, this place excels itself. I mislaid my eternity ring, didnt realise until on train home. I rang them and they rang me back within 5 minutes to say they had it. A friend very kindly collected it for me today and they rang me to check that it was ok before handing it over. Seriously cant thank you enough 🙏🙏 10/10 for food, 20/10 for customer service ❤️

Very disappointing visit. Brunch only one hour and 30 mins we were told by staff. What!!!!! Rushed us to order food as soon as we sat down. Drinks wasn’t bottomless. Had to keep waiting for drinks for ages and the got the orders wrong too. Food was awful bread was really hard couldn’t eat it. Didn’t get time to digest food before they kicked us out. Like a conveyor belt people were in and out asap. Staff looked stressed only 2 people serving food drinks also clearing tables. £45 should be more like £25 like being in a fast food restaurant. Messaged restaurant to complain and didn’t even reply

Such a wonderful birthday! We came for bottomless brunch and although we arrived early we were taken car of as soon as we walked through the door. First by the barman and then by the lovely Alyssa. She went above and beyond to make our time special including a birthday surprise. Thank you, we'll be back!

I had a superb experience at this canal-side bar. The atmosphere was luxurious, with stunning views and a beautifully designed space. The service was truly outstanding! The manager was incredibly attentive and ensured everything was perfect throughout my visit. The team worked seamlessly together, which made the experience feel smooth and well-organised. A special mention to Alyssa, one of the floor staff, who was not only professional but also wonderfully friendly and talkative, making my day even more enjoyable. Attended a brunch - was seated 10 minutes late. Was ushered out 10 minutes earlier than what we were meant too. Drinks came out after the food. Was only served about 5 rounds during the brunch. Food was good quality. For £45 pp was not a great brunch experience. As we were being ushered out earlier than the allotted time we asked for one more round of drinks of which was agreed, we were told to leave the table and when asked about the final round was told no.

Absolutely fantastic - we arrived early and had a few cocktails - we sat outside with heaters etc as the table wasn’t ready - but I’m glad we did as we could enjoy the atmosphere ! The cocktails were fantastic and then the food - absolutely amazing all delivered impeccably by Rebecca - absolutely fantastic hostess ! Can’t fault the staff or the place or the food - this place was #1 on Tripadvisor - I can see exactly why !

We hired Aluna for a private event and I would definitely recommend them!!! We had an AMAZING time and we were so well looked after by all the staff, who were super lovely. Nothing was too difficult of an ask & the canapés and drinks were incredible. Big thanks again!!!!

Food is best pan Asian in Birmingham, cocktails could be better they’re too sweet can tell it’s cheap ingredients but the food makes up for it. I’ll def go back for the food!!!! Yum

SCROLL DOWN!!! It’s funny how after leaving a bad review they have clearly asked loads of people to leave a good review to boost the rating back up to try and hide the lowest ratings!! Yet in reality this is not true about it being 5 stars! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Would not recommend this brunch to anyone, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere- and I have been to many different places for brunch.. The service was shocking, and the staff tried to take our last orders 15 minutes before the brunch time finished. The service was slow and took ages to bring our drinks.. And we had to keep getting the attention of a worker to take our drink orders. The worst part is the food was appalling! We all ordered the same mains and one chicken burger was undercooked and pink inside. It made me and my other friends SO ill! Within less than half an hour of leaving the 5 of us suddenly had sickness and diarrhoea resulting in us all going home and ruining my friends birthday. I find this totally unacceptable and I should have listened to a previous friend who also had the same experience! AVOID! To get then food poisoning after paying for an expensive brunch is totally unacceptable. The staff need basic training for people management skills and maybe the kitchen staff need to know how to cook basic food properly. Assume we won’t get a response to this but what a total waste of money. Defiantly don’t waste your time and money coming here.
