The food, atmosphere and service was awesome. Shabnum was great, super friendly and her smile is infectious!!! The chaii is amazing, the coffee even better. We only had desserts but they were tasty. Will defo be back again. Thanks Shabnum and her little helper 😉

Great service . We asked to move table and told yes let us clean it first . Food was brought out quickly also nice recommendations from staff . Pistachio latte was the best ever . Price is fair but parking is Terrible

This was our second time coming to Chaii Green and we absolutely loved it. We really enjoyed the food, the sharing platter to be precise and the butter chicken curry was delicious! The kids loved the bubble tea and we want to say a special mention to our waitresses Hamna and Eshal. They were super accommodating and friendly and welcoming. We also want to say a very special thank you to the owner Shabz for making our experience extra special and checking in on us to make sure all was okay! Overall we would recommend anyone to come here, couples, friends or family. Both the food and atmosphere is lovely. Thank you to everyone including the chefs!

Good one better than Alum rock branch

I don't usually bother leaving reviews but the service we received was outstanding, the ambiance was enjoyable, and the manager/owner went out of his way to cater to our "unusual" request without hesitating. I would highly recommend anyone who's fed up of the usual chaii places to give this one a go. The menu has various dishes that will satisfy the Asian palate and English palate alike. For sure I plan on being a life long customer should the service remain this great. One of the items in our order was the keema nachos, (literally salivating thinking about it now) it's not your usual tortilla chips nachos, it has a very unique crisp base all the while tasting scrumptious. The house chai is delish too, if you love your desi teas. My friend and I both have polar opposite tastes but we both loved this tea, which says something. Thank you guys. Friendly welcome. Decor and surroundings are quite nice. Food and service was very good. Everything we ordered was to perfection. We visited venue as a family for dinner. Mustafa our waiter. was very polite, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our food. We had momos, Lamb chops, chicken shawarma, chicken nuggets and chips. Mango lassi. Would recommend.

Lovely place, food was half decent. Only the lamb achari was bland, the rest of the food was decent. Pistachio latte is wonderful.

Decent place nothing wow service is very good but the food is decent achari lamb curry was very bland but loaded fries and aloo tikka burger was OK, overall decent, worth a try. Came back to have the matilda cake was lovely abd the pistachio latte delicious

I recently visited Chai Green for breakfast, excited to try their Desi Breakfast Thali and Halwa Puris, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Let's start with the environment and decor. The ambiance is quite pleasant—modern, clean, and well-designed. It certainly set the tone for what I hoped would be an enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Despite the restaurant being relatively quiet, with only a couple of other families dining, the service was slow. There seemed to be no sense of urgency, which was disappointing, especially considering how few people were there. Waiting longer than expected for breakfast, when you're not even in a rush hour, was frustrating. Now, on to the food, which was the biggest letdown. Everything I ordered was extremely oily, to the point where it became difficult to enjoy. I understand that some dishes in desi cuisine are inherently rich, but this went well beyond that—it was greasy and overdone. The Desi Breakfast Thali lacked flavor and freshness, and the oiliness of everything overshadowed the individual components. The Halwa Puris were a particular disappointment. They weren’t puris at all but pathuras, which felt misleading. While the pathuras themselves were actually quite good—probably the only saving grace of the meal—they weren’t what was advertised, and that left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking. The biggest letdown, though, was the roghni naan. Instead of the soft, fluffy, oven-baked naan I was expecting, it felt more like a glorified, thick fried paratha. It lacked the characteristic texture and flavor of a proper naan, and I couldn’t help but feel that I had been served something completely different from what was promised. In conclusion, while the decor and environment were nice, the slow service and oily, misleadingly named food left me disappointed. The pathuras were the only saving grace, but even that couldn’t make up for the overall subpar experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend Chai Green for breakfast if you're looking for a well-rounded and authentic desi meal.

Visited for the first time and shabnum was a pleasure to meet. From service to hospitality to décor was a great experience and will most definitely be returning.

Had to wait 15 minutes for a table, tea came after 30 minutes after being seated. They apologised and said this was due to staff shift being changed, did receive 10% discount. Overall not happy with quality of service.

Food was rushed. Service was poor quality. They put everything on the table even while we were still eating, had no space on the table at all. We booked and we mentioned we're coming for a special occasion, we even mentioned to them to bring out the main after we had eaten our starters. We were in the middle of our starters and they had already started putting the mains out.

The food and atmosphere was very good. The décor inside the restaurant was amazing. I was however a bit disappointed that they only offered one sausage with their Full British Brekkie considering the price (I was expecting a min of 2). Other than this I was happy overall.

Yesterday I went to chai green with my kids and my server Imaan was very good. We brought a lot of food and Imaan was very sweet and was very kind towards me and my children . She’s very joyful and because of my experience with her I will be coming again. 10/10 would recommend this food chain service

The food was not only aesthetically pleasing but also a delight to the palate. Each dish was meticulously presented, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors that made every bite thoroughly enjoyable. The culinary craftsmanship was evident in both taste and presentation. While my only minor inconvenience was the challenge of finding parking, which took approximately 15 minutes, I don’t attribute this to the restaurant itself, as it’s more a reflection of the surrounding area. Once inside, the experience more than compensated for this minor hurdle. A special commendation must go to Imaan, the waiter, who was incredibly attentive and professional throughout the evening. Her warmth and willingness to assist added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. Overall, this restaurant is a true gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience.

Lovely place very welcoming, friendly staff amazing fresh food none of that frozen stuff you get served from another places very very nice!! Our waiter was Imaan and she was amazing very polite and fast professional service given from her would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back :)

Stopped off here on my own for a quick bite. The whole menu looked really good. Ordered ‘Lahori Nashta’ which came with Roghni Naan and a choice of dishes, i chose Butter Chicken. The Naan was cooked perfectly, so soft and fluffy inside with bit of crisp on the out. Butter Chicken was delicious, creamy and spicy as it should be. Obviously ordered a House Chai to go with it, one of the best Chais in Birmingham. Took away a Virgin Mojito for the journey home, made perfectly iced cold and refreshing. Very very highly recommended place to visit, will definitely be coming again

I recently visited Chaii Green and had the pleasure of trying their parathas, omelette, and tea. The parathas were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft inside, making them a delightful treat. The omelette was fluffy and packed with flavor, complemented by fresh herbs and spices. But what really stood out was the tea.

Mustafa was a great waiter, he served us and looked after us throughout the whole time we dined in. The food was amazing and as usual very consistent to previous visits. I do have feedback to management, there should be more then 2 waiters on as they seemed rushed and were trying to do everything which was clearly no fault of there own. This could dampen an experience very easily.

Tasty food and good service tonight..very accomodating and attentive, especially so that we could pray - they turned the music off for us and provided a place to pray. It's a shame they were a bit short staffed as small requests took a bit of time to cater to. It's a shame they don't offer a red chilli sauce in house, they only offer packets. Alisha was lovely. Would come again.

Shabnum is always so kind and helpful with my food needs and helps guide me through the menu always giving me the best recommendations. mustafa, Hamna and Laiba were very helpful and understanding of my lactose allergies and were able to guide me to the nicest dessert I’ve ever had. I visited Chaii Green today I must say I enjoyed the food thoroughly it tasted great 😊 - The food is tasty and nice. - The tea is great. **Areas of Improvement:** - The portion sizes seem to be an issue, particularly when it comes to sides like toast, parantha, and puri. For the price, you expected more generous servings or inclusion of basics like tea. - Value for money seems to be a concern, as you feel the portions don't justify the price you're paying.
