Ordered food on uber eats, waited outside when it said arrived but wasn't, they then rang and asked where I was told them the same address I order to, only to be told I wasn't there and hung up on. Tried ringing the place to which they just said no not there and hung up. Scam, do not order.

"German hotdog" was absolutely vile - it's literally fraud to call the mushy tasteless weiner I received a bratwurst.

Just got delivery through ubereats and had to leave a review as the food was delicious! Would highly recommend, chips were the perfect level of crispy, burgers were very tasty, I couldn’t fault a thing - will definitely order from here again :))

Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had ordering food. Would have gave 0 stars if I could.To start off the delivery time was over 2 hours then promised. Secondly we wished to contact Cafe presko which was impossible to do as they have no working contact details, the two phone numbers given did not work. Thirdly on the just eat app it was claimed that my delivery had “been delivered” which was not true at all and had to wait an extra hour. The delivery driver was rude and gave no apologies. Would not recommend this place even if I was starving and had no over option.

This is a seriously concerning business and over all A TERRIBLE SERVICE. I’m going to start of by saying this experience has left me traumatised and depressed. I ordered tonight at 1:19 all was well until 2:20 (when the order should have arrived by) just eat and cafe presko straight up lied to me and told me that my order had been delivered when it clearly HAD NOT! As I had been promised a lie I attempted to ring cafe presko on TWO different phone number, none of which worked and went straight to voicemail I began to panicked as I had spent my last £13.64 on these two milkshakes hoping at the bare least they’d be delivered. I repeatedly rang hoping and praying to at least get a response on where my order was. I never got a response and just decided to wait. I am currently staying in a hotel so I decided to go down to the lobby and wait which was cold and I was in discomfort. AFTER 2 hours my order finally had been delivered. I walked outside to find a man copping out of a suspicious black damaged car with a very shady looking black bag. He stumbled over as if he was intoxicated and handed me the bag he said no words but “bye” no apology or nothing, he then drove of at a high speed. This experience has been nothing but stressful, saddening and disappointing. I really hope nobody spends their time or money ordering from here thanks for listening.

Ordered from Deliveroo. Now an hour and 15 mins late from he delivery time. “Inbox is full” is what you get when you call. Deliveroo claim “it will be delivered in minutes” when you contact them. Half an hour later… nothing. Refusing to give a refund. Avoid like plague!!! Edit: managed to get through and he insisted on speaking a foreign language to me. AVOID AVOID AVOIDED

One of the worst I have ever came across plz don’t waste your money

I placed an order through Uber Eats and at the end I had to ask them for help because I haven't received my order, the restaurant didn't pick up the phone at all (I phoned 6! times in 80-90 minutes) and completely ignored my online requests for updates. Even one star is far too much but unfortunately there is no possibility to give less than that :-/ AVOID!!!!!! unless u want to wait for your order ages and at the end u will receive nothing except a big disappointment.

I recently ordered an online food order from Cafe Presko, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. It offers a diverse menu that caters to various palates. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a decadent dinner, they have something to satisfy every craving. Coming to my order, I opted for their Ultimate kinder waffle and it did not disappoint. It was simply outstanding. I paired it with a Strawberry and banana, which was commendable. In addition to their delectable food, Cafe Presko also offers a wide selection of beverages, including coffee, smoothies, and cocktails, which really completes the meal. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Cafe Presko and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

Wow the hotdogs are to die for. Ordered 2 on Thursday and had to order 2 different ones on Friday. They are delicious and arrived hot. The Scotlander Mmmmm Thank you for the cake a nice surprise. Lee Newhaven Road.

Ordered online from Foodhub, cheesecake icecream & hot chocolate at 8.30pm tonight 30 minutes delivery...fancied a wee treat. 9.30pm & nothing arrived so called Presko to enquire no reply. They then called me back to say they don't have hot chocolate or cheesecake in stock & the number they had for me doesn't work strangely.. I tried to cancel my order but it now says delivered. I will have now to visit store when I next get a chance. Poor show Presko & Foodhub. Never again.

0 Star Waited a whole hour for a few milkshakes, wish I had read reviews before ordering. Update: the lady called me and started raising her voice at me , because I left a review, last words were “bullsh*t” and hung up , zero professionalism, narcissistic, i would definitely advice avoiding these guys or you will have issues. AVOID LIKE COVID. Very narcissistic owner, requires professional customer service training, did not expect her to use abusive language, I hope children and families dont witness her behaviour, absolutely disgusting.

Excellent breakfast on a Sunday morning! Vegetarian, very hot and delicious. My husband ordered bacon roll and chips - loads of them! Enjoyed it very much. Staff were very helpful.

Honestly some of the worst food I’ve ever put in my mouth, nothing could make me eat the burgers from here again. Tasted nothing but salt and the “piri piri” seasoning on the soggy sweet potato fries literally tasted like ass. I can’t believe they’ve made a business charging money for human food.

I waited over 2 hours for a cold pancake. Also, the orange juice that you're advertising as "fresh" is evidently a cheap bottle of concentrate. Will not be returning.

Service is bad, seems the staff simply don't care much. Their waffles are like eating bread, the toppings are stingy to say the least, their icecream is probably the worst icecream I have ever eaten, would give a 0/5 if I could. Nothing positive to say, unfortunately.

So made an order 2&a half hrs ago.they said it would b an.hour 15mins I phoned twice they said it would be 5mins 45mins later I phoned again said it would be 5mins.Still not here 2&half hrs later SO CANCELLED IT.WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN ITS PUT US OFF.

I've ordered from here before and usually the food is good enough but this time it was awful. My burger was dry, they gave me a smaller Red Bull than the one I paid for on the menu and to top it all off there was 4-5 black pieces of plastic in the waffle! You'd think this would be a serious matter and I emailed them directly because obviously something was wrong and I didn't want anyone else getting plastic in their food. But over a week later still no reply, they obviously don't care. I ordered through Just Eat and was able to request a refund through the website but with no input or comment from Presko at all. I wouldn't order from here again...

They advertise "home-made icecream" but I saw them selling me the same vanilla icecream which is sold in the discounter across the street". NOT RECOMMENDED

A little bit sad because when I arrived they told me they don't serve Filipino food anymore. However I ordered the Bacon Burger and Penne Garlic Pesto Pasta and both were delicious.

The food is great...if it comes. The delivery is an utter joke, for a restaurant to be 15 minutes away by car and take well over an hour of the predicted delivery time is almost impressively bad. I managed to get half my order 45 minutes late tho so hey ho silver lining. Fix your sh*t Presko

We’ve ordered desserts from there twice now, always good cakes and the waffles were amazing. Only thing I can say is to suggest to put allergies online on the menu, was a bit disappointed to get the vegan brownie with nuts, as I am allergic and therefore couldn’t eat it. But all in all good place for desserts! We want to try the hot food soon just hadn’t had the chance

Arrived after a hour, which is ok on a Friday night and Deliveroo did say 55 mins; but it’s cold, stone cold. Haven’t eaten it yet because I’m reheating the food so really can’t say how good or bad it is. From looking in the driver’s car it looks like the orders aren’t being kept in an insulated container and was handed over in a paper bag, so either I was at the back of the delivery queue or the containers or both didn’t save the day.

Place order at half 8 no delivery so called at 22:15 told be with me in a minuite. Nothing by 22:30 call again they closed. Shockikg service will never use again and I advise others to stay clear

Very disappointed! I've ordered a nacho CHICKEN burger but they've sent me PORK burger!!! Called the restaurant couple of times but they won't answer my call. Check your order once received it as I've ended throwing my food in the bin.

Have only used for milkshakes,ice creams and cakes for delivery, amazing quality and you get a good sized portion . The sundaes are amazing especially the Oreo one

Ordered from here via Deliveroo at 10pm on a Friday, stated closing time 11pm. The order was accepted by this place and we waited for delivery......unfortunately this never happened. After waiting over a hour and trying to get through to the place on the phone with no luck we had to contact Deliveroo. Turn out that they had just decided to accept the order and then close the shop. They never even attempted to make the order they accepted! THIS PLACE IN AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS AT ALL! DONT ORDER FROM HERE! They have no care for customers! Wasting your money!

Never been disappointed. Been going here for about a year since I've moved to Gorgie, I've had a real variety of the menu, takeaway breakfast rolls, cake, Filipino curries, the guilty Scottish options on the menu like burgahs, and they have all been delicious. I've just never been disappointed with the place. The staff are real lovely there as well. My only gripe was the cheesy pop music on in the restaurant (this was pre-lockdown) but that is all I can say and that is nitpicking.

I ordered a Mars milkshake which was watery and flavourless and a waffle which was dry and had very little sauce on it. The order was also 20 minutes late. Would not recommend.

The menu is so hard to choose from as everything is so tasty! My personal pick would be the canton noodles with sirloin steak!

Good selection of foods. Enjoyed their bestsellers which I believe is called chicken Adobo. I would recommend them! The delivery is a little bit on the slow side as it usually takes about an hour, so I hope they do something about that!

Was here on 29th Feb 2020. We came from Aberdeen to go around Edinburgh and obviously as a side trip we looked for Filipino food. The food quality is great and definitely enjoyed our stay.

Dividimos dos entrantes (lumpia de vegetales, bolas de pescado) y dos platos principales (lechon kawali, un plato de carne de cerdo; bangusilog, un plato de arroz frito con pescado, huevo y verduras): todos los tamaños de porciones sensibles y buenos para compartir. Eso más dos postres y refrescos fríos y calientes cada uno, totalizaron alrededor de 22 por persona: puede elegir fácilmente opciones menos / más baratas, pero para una comida casera de tres platos con varias bebidas, realmente razonable. Sin duda volveremos y probaremos más platos nuevos.No tomé una foto de nuestros postres porque son de un proveedor local en lugar de estar hechos en casa, pero estoy feliz de comentar que tanto los pasteles de manzana banoffee como los de toffee fueron excelentes, nuevamente, sabor realmente fresco con ingredientes de buena calidad.

Very high standard of food and staff were extremely friendly. They also have an extensive menu so I’ll definitely be back to try some more options. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We have been visiting this restaurant for about six months and it never lets us down. Varied menu suitable to most tastes. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful. Prices are reasonable too.

We placed an order with Presko Desserts at 8:30pm, and waited an hour and a half before we decided to call to ask where on earth the order was. They said the delivery driver hadn't left yet, despite my order preview saying it was on it's way. We cancelled the order after waiting 2 hours, but they are refusing to issue a refund as they have apparently lost the order receipt. When I can still see it, and so can JustEat. The manager outright refused to issue the refund when I called. It is absolutely ridiculous having to wait that long for an order not to arrive, and to receive no communication from the restaurant - and even more ridiculous that they are refusing to issue a refund.

I placed an order that came to £28 and it said it would take an hour. The delivery time was updated once but did not let us know it was going to be a further hour and a half. I called and they said the delivery was not on it’s way yet and could not tell me when it would arrive - I explained that it was now too late and I had to cancel the order to which I was told twice I would definitely get a full refund if I contact just eat. I was woken up by the driver finally arriving as they had not communicated with the driver and he had brought it. Because I was told I would be refunded I let him know the order was cancelled. The next day I contacted just eat and was told Cafe presko would need to refund it because they had confirmed it as delivered. I emailed but got no response so phoned the next day and was told they have no record of orders after 24hr and I can not get refunded my £28. I have sat in here many times and the staff were lovely. This delivery was such a waste of money and time and I will not go back. Awful customer service and communication.

We ordered delivery desert from this restaurant and over 2 hours later we still hadn’t received our food. When contacting them we were told it was on its way but there were other deliveries for the driver to make first. We ordered Ice cream so how on Earth can 1 hour from leaving the restaurant to arriving at our door be acceptable with Ice Cream. ORDER CANCELLED

My husband and I have eaten in the restaurant for lunch a few times and ordered takeaway for delivery a few times. The various Filipino dishes we've tried have all been exceptional every time, full of flavour and so, so moreish.When in the restaurant, the woman who has always served us has been so lovely, helpful, and friendly, it's a very vibe from her.

So we ended up just paying for the coffee and left.

Also, if you plan on getting the pancakes with maple syrup expect to get a sugar based syrup substitute.

Food is delicious! The BBQ pork belly just melts in your mouth. Haggis is peppery but has a creamy, delicious texture. Staff warm and friendly.

Lovely fresh food. We have ordered here for delivery before and everything was delicious. Went for breakfast today and it was all lovely and staff were super friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and great cakes too. Good prices and fast service. Will be back!

Very attentive service, beef burger with pulled pork really nice! Overall nice smoothy- just a little bit too much ice so it became watery and lost its flavour. I asked if I could have a bit more fruit to the smoothy to give it more flavour...not a problem!

2 hour delivery, terribly overcooked, chewy and greasy burger which was slathered in sauce (inside and out) which I can only image was to cover the taste? Called to ask where the food was and they said it was out with the driver, it was another 50 minutes from that phone call.

Small cosy place. Great selection of food, all sizes of appetites catered for. Scottish food as well as Filipino. The cakes are legendary! I was recommended the toffee fudge cake - it's amazing!

Starter at nearly £5 two small skewers of pork belly which was mostly fat. And a minuscule salad. Bit overpriced Chicken curry very spicy, lovely flavours. But not very substantial displayed in a small square nearly flat dish. More overcooked small pieces of chicken in it than anything else. Needs a bowl... and more substantially put together. Banofee pie was ok. All in all nothing to write home about, was expecting it to be better. Hospitality as you walk in is very welcoming.

I've lived nearby the entire time this place has existed here, yet never once stepped inside for a meal until today. ...I regret my past self's ignorance. Myself and my parents, 3 very different meals but they nailed them. My burger tasted great, wasn't oversized and they knew how to make a good chip. The curry we asked for a little heat to it (as it was advertised as being mild) and it came out at the right spiciness, and the kare kare was quite light but great tasting as well. Desserts were pretty large, obviously homemade and delicious. Sit in prices were pretty cheap, the takeaway option looked like it would be even cheaper! I'd certainly label this somewhat of a hidden gem. I attach the photo of my dessert, the combination of my two favourite desserts, cookie dough and cheesecake. A thing of beauty, if not exceptionally sweet!

Estaba cerca de nuestro alojamiento y después de un intenso día de turismo y con mucha hambre decidimos entrar aquí. El precio es económico pero la comida no nos gustó... Además no tienen cervezas ya que no venden bebidas alcohólicas. Nos hizo el apaño en ese momento pero no volveríamos ni lo recomendamos... Eso sí el trato es bueno.

We are on holiday here in Edinburgh for a week and I really searched this filipino resto to have a taste of our native dishes. It can easily be reached through bus from Prince St. In town. We are given a warm welcome and there's a lot of food choices both filipino and engish/Scottish meals. We ordered lechon kawali, sisig, afritada and sirloin steak canton noodles. Everything was so delicious, tasty and large portions, enough to fill our hungry stomachs. Hahaha.My English hubby was satisfied too! There's a wide variety of desserts too like cakes, milkshakes but we ofted for our native halo-halo that made us feel at tome. Heart the filipina owner/manager was so accommodating giving us tips on how to get to the bus stop for our return trip to town. All in all I highly recommend this place.. Food quality, service, affordability.. Worth the effort.. 5 Stars!!! Will go back again if given a chance..

I have never tasted such dreadful fish and chips before... The waitress seemed aloof and unconcerned when I mentioned it. First visit and never ever again...!

We tried two different Philippine dishes and both were delicious, one was the special that day and the other was one of the rice bowls. The service was friendly and efficient. My tea was nice but my son's milkshake was warm and tasted mainly of cream with no added flavour. Will go back to try other Philippine dishes.

Very nice mixed Asian and European (Scottish) food place in Edinburgh. It was okay, but the Presko Chicken Express presentation was a bit negatively surprising to me as it looks so plain and dry. Although the taste was very yummy, but it could be much better if they put a little extra effort to put some fresh little leafs with slices of cucumber and tomatoes to make the presentation more appealing and the food had a bit of vegetable touch. 🙂 Based on the presentation, I would say the prices were a bit too much for a simple chicken leg and rice (meant to be a coconut rice, but I barely can taste the coconut flavour in the rice).

Award winning Filipino cafe in Edinburgh. My girlfriend is Filipino and we'll always drop by if in that part of town. Serves other food too.
