Exceptional service by Vadim and Fraser, they were very accommodating. The desserts were delicious and the service fast.

I visit every Weds for a cup of tea on my way to work. The lovely lady Kenje behind the bar always greets me with a friendly smile and welcome. This ajways cheers my day.

Love this hotel. Stay here quite often due to business. Always look forward to the breakfast here, as the buffet and team are always on point. Ben P is especially good. He always looks after us and make you feel so welcome. His postive attitude and personality are perfect for this industry.

Ben N. our server was amazing! He was professional, well kept as well as warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were excellent with many options as well as the atmosphere being the platinum standard in industry.

Avoid afternoon tea here. Overpriced and poor quality food, tea and service. Cakes were good but sandwiches dry and worse than you would get at a petrol station. Cucumber, cream cheese and dill tarlet on menu non existent and presented with loads of cucumber, cream cheese and dill bland sandwiches and told by the waiter this was the tartlet! They also dont know how to make tea. Given a few teabags on a plate and a pot of hot water but this isnt how to brew a proper cup of tea. You need to put tea in pot and add boiling water. Even my mother who hardly ever complaint thought it shoddy. Think managers need to learn how to make sandwiches and tea if they are going to offer afternoon tea. Worth a maximum of £10 to £12 but charged £24.95 and 12.5% service.

I dined at the Hawkers recently with some friends and I must say the food and service was excellent. We were looked after by Milena was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. Will definitely visit again.

We love coming here for breakfast- kids eat for free and you feel like you are on holiday a bit as it’s breakfast at the hotel. The staff are very friendly, especially Kenje, who was super friendly with the kids, remembering their names and making us want to come back again and again :)

20:00 pm. Was greeted by Riya with her hospitality and wrapped around a cosy environment. Ordered right away, went on my phone and by the time I knew it, I was greeted by some wonderful hot food which was melting tender, whilst having crispy skin on fries. I have to say that If you're staying at the hotel, It's a must try.

We've been there with my work colleagues for Christmas party on 10/12/2022. It was a large group of 28 people. Positive: -nice interior design -dance floor with DJ -good wine Negative: -The dinner supposed to start at 7.45pm, however the food was late. -OVERPRICED poor quality food -Long time waiting for food -The staff collected food from all of us not even finishing it from the plate. For example, my colleague was served with the main dish after me left his food for 5mins and it was gone. Overall, he had his main meal for 15mins on the table. -I've ordered vegetable soup for the starters which was ok and turkey for the main which was DRY. -Now, the worse part. The dessert was late. Most of us got bored of waiting, went to dance floor for 10mins when came back still nothing on the table. I haven't had my cranberry cheesecake which I thought will resolve a miserable taste left in my mouth from the dry turkey. I haven't even seen how it looks like as it was never been served. When I went to speak with the manager (to get my dessert back) I was informed that the kitchen was now closed and they can't do anything about it. He ensured me it was served, but he thinks it was eaten by one of my colleagues. I wonder now, which ones? Are those who's been dancing with me together? My impression is, the kitchen was in rush to finish work on time even though they're the ones who served us food late. It could explain why the food was served only for 15mins not letting people to finish. Btw, we've booked this meal ages ago. Now, from the management side, why don't you get enough staff on that day? I don't think it's fair for customers to experience this awful service.Don't want to come back there again, unless they improve. Waste of money...

Came in for 2x brunch with my fiancee, full english breakfast. The food was quite poor quality (undercooked fried eggs, bacon, mushy avocado, bland mushrooms... at least the toast was nice?), and very expensive for what it was. The reason I'm writing the review, is that not even 2 hours after eating here, I came down with pretty bad stomach pain and temperature until today. I don't get sick easily, and this was the only food that I ate up to the point that I was sick. So safe to say, we won't be back. Which is a shame, cos I live 2 mins away from this place.

Good but could do a little better. Everyone was polite and friendly and the food was amazing. My steak was well cooked, and full of flavour. I definitely enjoyed eating it. It just felt a little cold and unwelcoming in the restaurant itself. No-one really checked in on you unless you managed to grab someone at the bar for a table, and then it felt like you were disrupting their job. But the food definitely was good and as a group it would probably work well that you weren’t constantly checked on.

Yeah, not great. Pleasant staff do their best but grim chain hotel bar down a back alley, high prices, poor quality food. There's a couple dozen better options within a five minute walk, so just no need to ever go here. Caveat, only been for food in the day, so maybe it's a different story for evening drinks.

Whilst a nice location unfortunately our experience wasn't so good. We waited ages for 2 teas and a coffee. Eventually we were fed up with the long wait and after searching for some assistance was told the coffee machine was broken. Someone really ought to have come to over to us to explain and apologise for the wait. We were eventually served our 2 teas as cups of water (which by the time we received it wasn't hot) and a teabag for £3.10. My friend who waited for coffee said it was taking too long and opted for tea. Not a good experience.

I was due to meet friends at 3pm for afternoon tea and arranged a quick drink with my Brother first. I was very pleased to Alcohol free Ceddes behind the bar. Though the member of staff was unaware it was alcohol free. My brother asked for a pint of Becks and it was totally flat, the barman failed to notice until my brother pointed it out. He said he would bring it over. In the meantime we sat down and waited, conscious of the time I finished my drink, leaving my brother still waiting for his. He finally got his beer 20 minutes later. Afternoon tea with friends was much better. No menu to say which teas were on offer, so I went for Earl Grey and my friends went for afternoon tea. The member of staff asked about allergies, one nut and one oat amongst up and went off and returned with the cake stand. A small selection of sandwiches containing ham, egg, tuna and something with cucumber. Two scones each with a tiny portion of cream and jam meant for two. It also included a chocolate eclair, lemon tart and a fruity mousse type cake. Very tasty and good value for £12.00 something as it was a Groupon offer. Very enjoyable overall, just need training on the bar.

Had the loveliest evening here for our Valentines Day meal. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The extra touch of the piano player made it feel really special. Will definitely be returning soon!

We came here for a family lunch. The kids had fish and chips - the fish fingers looked like they had heated up some frozen ones from Sainsbury’s. The chips were salty, our hawkers eggs were inedible. Very disappointing.
