Starbucks in Kingston upon Thames

I love this place, the staff are always friendly and drinks are lovely. I noticed this cafe is my chi cleaner than its counterparts in town

We waiting for just simple cappuccino 30 min, because barista have to prioritise online order!!!! Where is management to sorted out this issue, as one person could not do it

I visited today for my first trip out with my newborn baby and the staff were brilliant. I was given a great table in the corner to feed my baby in private, was served as quickly as possible and had my drink brought over to me so that I could tend to my baby. I was so impressed with the service, especially as other venues may not be so willing so welcome a new mum with a crying baby! Thank you!

I ordered my usual matcha frap in the same branch in kingston. The guy who took my order did not ask what size i wanted for my drink so i told him i wanted Venti. The barista was making a grande size so i told him i ordered venti and would pay the difference as i wanted to have it that way (as always). The guy who took my order was giving me an attitude and gave me this cup while telling me "you ask for cream anyway". Such unprofessionalism. No apologies, instead they were talking about me in their own language. This is why customers (who did not do anything wrong) are having bad days.

The issue with this corner site Starbucks in the heart of Kingston is that it's not nearly as roomy as the branch of Pret on the opposite corner.So if you want a sense of spaciousness and freedom, Pret's the better option.If, however, you enjoy earwigging other conversations, Starbucks is the place.The coffee is, well, Starbucks. The service is slightly more automaton than the free-spirited outlook of independents, but ain't that always the way?A useful place on the edge of Kingston town centre's pedestrianised zone.

Great Service and a warm welcome from Charlotte as usual! by far the happiest member of staff in all the Starbucks i’ve been too she’s always polite constantly says thankyou , smiling and gives great service, couldn’t ask for any more, she recommended me the carrot cake the other day which was really moist and flavoursome! Great coffee just the right temperature!!! will be returning soon !!!

I popped into the Starbucks on Clarence Street Kingston yesterday, I noticed a couple of staff around and one guy behind the counter serving a customer. I waited to be served, tried to catch the eye of the other staff who were busy chatting!!!! The point of this review is to say thank you to the barista I think his name was Pariade (sorry if I spelt it wrong) while he was making a drink for the other customer, with a smile he asked if he could help, he seemed very calm and and not bothered by the fact that he was the only one holding the fort, other customers came in and he served them as well, so maybe the other staff are not needed?

Stopped for a coffee break and I was very impressed by the young lady barista she was excellent. She greeted everyone with a smile and knew exactly what people wanted. Well done. Coffee was lovely.

Visited for a coffee and bite the other day only to be told they had run out of gluten free. Oh really! Wonder why? Because it’s a big market over here maybe??? C’mon Starbucks you are a massive global brand and you’ve been offering ‘1’ measly brownie as your gluten free prize for years. Your sandwiches always run out. It’s not for me to tell you your strategy but maybe look at this article. I mentioned the issue to your Kingston branch and they weren’t interested at all. I pointed out that even your new risotto which could easily be gluten free had wheat in it!! Popped into Starbucks on my way home and wish I went else where. Mountain of rubbish on the outside, was a warning! Full of left coffee cups and rubbish on the floor. Only one staff behind the counter and zero customer service. Should of walk out but had just loaded up my Starbucks app. Coffee taste disgusting and not to Starbucks usual high standards.

Starbucks will always be my No1 choice btw staff are lovely and the service is quick ad well! Love it

Always a fast service in here with friendly helpful staff, always a busy environment aswell. However, they open early and stay open later than other shops which is great if you want abit of quiet. Good range of food/snacks and the normal side selection of drinks.

Came here for a warm drink while christmas shopping, very welcoming staff very friendly and the service was quick and my drink was perfect even with my requests. Will visit here again.

Beverages were great! very large and quiet Starbucks! lots of people seemed there to work. They even have a wheelchair lift at this Starbucks, which I thought was very cool! Big Windows!

We went here after a massive meal. Both of us were sleepy after the food and still had a film to watch. We went here at around 8pm on a Saturday evening. I usually like their filter coffee, not only because it's cheap but also because it tastes great. Unfortunately they couldn't make anymore. The barista recommended to get the americano instead, luckily it was offered for the same price. Good customer service I'd say.

I often pop in to this Starbucks, and in the past have received somewhat standard service. However, I have been in Starbucks all morning, I was served by Kiera (?) - name tag was slightly smudged. She is a lovely person and hard-working member of the team. Great customer service by all staff. It was also very humbling to see all the staff engaged and honouring the 2 minute silence (11th Nov).

lovely place nice staff great surroundings but why are the prices so expensive and the food more people would love to go in if they could afford it , nice food and drink but needs to be cheaper

Right near to the shops and middle of the city with easy access for everyone,tho its sometimes very crowded,

Worst coffee i ever had! i asked for a latte and i got dry burt milk with bubbles, never going to Starbucks again for a coffee!

We stopped here on the of chance, Asked for the Cappuccino to be made extra hot, it was extra hot when we got it, had to use a cup holder to hold our takeaway cup with.

I've been to this Starbucks branch several times. It is always a pleasant experience. The baristas take the time to make my coffee according to my preference and I have always enjoyed a coffee/chocolate break at this airy and clean cafe with its good view of the street outside. Last year the wi-fi service was a little unreliable but on this trip, the wi-fi signal was great.
