Large bright and airy, that sums this place up really. Great disabled access too. Excellent staff very friendly and welcoming. Lots of indoor seating. The food is not very much more than Greggs price wise but way better quality you can't go wrong.

This is very fresh review, went in ordered through the machine. Friend got meatball marinara with no onions, extra cheese. I got chicken rotisserie with no reg cucumber but pickled. His order had onions and mine had fresh pickles as well. Kinda disappointed with that. Idk if this place in particular is allergy friendly because of all of that.

I stayed here for 4 nights and it was brilliant the rooms were absolutely perfect my stay and the bar was a brilliant atmosphere, the highlight however was the food in the bar it was absolutely incredible and the chefs are an absolute credit to bar/hotel

The bad reviews here must be fake. The wife and I went on a busy Saturday night. Food was excellent and the service was good

Popped in on a cold December Saturday to a very warm welcome. Had the lobster fries - stunning. Really good food in a fabulous location having crossed a road that almost runs on the beach. Sometimes closed at very high tide - adds to the charm of this originally historic pub. Do forget to take home a bottle of their unique kelpchup- made from seaweed.

Popped in here one evening for food and it didn’t disappoint. Due to it being very busy we had to wait for food but not to long a wait - we just chatted. They have my favourite cocktail back - Cherry bakewelll yeah.

One of the best shops in Ruthin not only see the food in front of you but smell it as well !Lovely bread roll baps,of various meat joints with the trimmings-pork,beef turkey.Bacon Sausage Mushrooms also avalable Good choice of cream cakes.Popular and busy with a cue very often.Well reomended.Friendly and polite Called today for Breakfast 5/8/24.Bacon had run out (but I did'nt !)accepted an extra sausage there fore I had three.Also asked for extra mushrooms.Dispite this was charged the standered price a good bargain !Mushrooms were tasty,good quality tasty sausages,plenty of baked beans and egg o k.Also two slices of door step toast.Was served by a polite server Laceywho I tahked for a good meal Since my last review Chatwins have added hash browns to menu because I like them there Breakfast menu is now complete and well worth a visit ! !!

Ignored by staff. Was interested in picking my own assortment, but ended up with pre bagged. Small pieces, but perhaps that is better. Larger would be too much. No where near the Belgium quality. Nice local shop, so happy to support. Not sure if it's worth returning. Supermarket sweets are better.

Called in for dinner… lovely meal and Jess was amazing so helpful and welcoming ! would definitely come back next time in Ambleside

Great food good service and it was very busy and no delay with food very polite waiter and food was hot when it came to the table

I live just up the road and come here at least once per week (if not more!) and have never ever had a less than perfect experience, all the staff are lovely and kind and even when you pretty much know what you’re getting, the drinks are perfect. Praying that nothing happens to this branch!

Had a lovely lunch here. The Cheese and Onion pie with chunky skin on chips was top notch. Friendly service too. Recommended

Pop into the whitehorse as it's a family favourite. The staff were all friendly as usual, and very helpful. It has a new menu so my son decided to have the new philly burger. Steak cooked to perfection, and very filling. Whilst the rest of the party had the buy one get one free offer on the burgers. My mom had the fish and chips and said it was the best fish she'd had in a while. Definitely recommend this place.
