Bevano Lounge in Trafford

I meet friends at Bravano every Wednesday morning. We stay for a couple of hours. The staff are really friendly and Steve the Manager always has a little chat with us. It's a great place to meet.

Visit here very regularly and we always receive a very warm welcomed. There is a lovely warm atmosphere and the staff are amazing. Polite, attentive, friendly, happy and chatty. We have always received first class service with the occasional extra special touch. The manager is very visual and has a great rapport with his staff and customers. We very highly recommend ‘Bevanos’ and will definitely keep returning.

We went for the Macmillan cakes to support the charity and stayed for a Buttermilk chicken sandwich. Delicious ballance of flavours, fresh tasting ingredients and perfect crunch. We always enjoy our visits to the loungers bars but Bevano is our favorite for the friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

My recent visit to this lounge was disappointing, largely due to one staff member’s poor attitude. The woman wearing a stripy top, who was stationed at the pass, was notably unapproachable. Despite having time, she made no effort to greet or engage with customers. She didn’t smile, and when serving coffee, she simply placed it on the table without a word. Her overall demeanor was cold, and she seemed to go out of her way to avoid positive interaction. I even overheard her gossiping about customers who had to ask for basic items like butter for their soup. Moreover, when you’re paying nearly £4 for a cup of chips, you expect a higher standard of service. This lapse in quality was compounded by the fact that she spent a lot of time on her phone while people were left to sit at dirty tables and move their own plates. As an ex-member of the Loungers team, I was surprised to see this lapse in standards, especially since tables were always cleared promptly before new customers arrived. On the plus side, the food was nice, the coffee was great, and a male staff member demonstrated a much more welcoming attitude. However, this one individual’s lack of professionalism really overshadowed the experience. It’s a shame because positive reviews are crucial, but this visit didn’t meet expectations.

Great food, amazing service. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again very soon! Steve was serving us and was really knowledgable with the menu because my picky mum was mithering him every two seconds about the ingredients. Thanks guys

Bevano Lounge is back on top form! To be honest it dipped for a while. Dogs are welcome and well behaved ones are fine. Some owners a few weeks back were letting their dogs spoil the place by ignoring their “Paws on the Floor” rule on their website. Disgustingly, they had them sat on their laps and some of the dogs were being fed food from plates at the table! Eurgh! It was very off putting and we know several folk who were staying away because of this ‘love me, love my dog’ sense of entitlement. However the manager, Steve, who joined in October last year has really got to grips with this and as a result Bevano Lounge is back to its former glory! Cleaner and smarter. Hopefully all staff will now continue to remind dog owners about the rules. They are there so that we can ALL enjoy ourselves!

Absolutely banging place unforgettable experience great customer service especially the lovely Steve who creamed in my aunties mouth she has gone home very satisfied got what she asked for and more …

Never generally a good experience in here. Bar scruffy and tables not cleared, service is slow. Generally not an enjoyable experience.

I had the Goan lamb curry with sugar snap peas, sweet potato, tomato sauce and rice. It was a huge disappointment as there were literally 3 sugar snap peas, 3 chunks of potato and 3 pieces of very fatty lamb. It was expensive for what I got. I won't be going back.

We went as it is close to home, we have previously gone and been satisfied with the menu, food and service. It was a busy day as it was half term. My husband ordered the tapas and was pleased with his dishes, however, I ordered the standard burger and fries. The burger was overcooked dry and looked almost burnt, the fries were cold dry and crunchy. Should have complained but it was really busy and have decided not to go there again.

We go to this amazing place quite regularly and it’s always great. The freshly squeezed orange juice and simple but delicious menu is just excellent and service is always good. I definitely recommend this place; especially on a sunny day.

Wasn’t expensive, they have a menu if your vegan, gluten free or just want something to eat. They have a range of burgers, 3 tapas for under £16, salads, sides, brunch, mains, sandwiches and paninis, and desserts. Drinks were served with fruit depending what you chose.

First visit after a morning walk across the Mersey Valley. Welcoming atmosphere, lovely food and good coffee served by cheerful and efficient staff. Definitely going back there.

I go here regularly and it never disappoints. The food is so nice and reasonably priced. I always have the tapas so tasty with plenty of bread to go with it.I usually go mid week but went yesterday, Saturday, I was a bit worried if the service would be bad with being so busy. But it was as good as ever , great service and even when busy the staff can’t do enough for you. Plenty of vegan options even cake.

A little gem in the centre of Urmston Manchester. My friend and i went for a late lunch today. We had the offer- Curried sweet potato soup with half a panini Mozarella tomato and salad. As usual food was excellent, we managed to tell the chef how wonderful and tasty his soup was.

This place does the best breakfast it’s my first choice to stop off for brunch before shopping. I’m busy working my way through the menu.

Three of our party were GF. Everyone had a different option. All were beautifully presented and the GF alternatives were delicious. Thank you Bevano Lounge for taking all the stress out of feeding my tribe!

Fab from start to finish, went with 2 very fussy 5 year olds who both loved it and ate all their food. 1 even gave the mac and cheese a big thumbs up. The dirty brisket burger was by far one of the nicest burgers I've ever had highly recommended (without the lettuce). The staff were really friendly and accommodating we will definitely be visiting again

10am on a cold April morning I met a friend for coffee and breakfast. Unfortunately my friend couldn’t eat as there were no vegan sausages! I’m very surprised and disappointed by this. I suggested that maybe someone could nip to Sainsburys to get some but the staff just laughed. It ruined a friends catch up so will be finding somewhere else that can provide vegan breakfast.

I had dinner here with 6 family members and it was lovely! The food was really good and great value for money. But then 2 days after I suggested breakfast there because we had such a great experience with dinner. Breakfast was really disappointing. It’s definitely cooked in advance and reheated because things like the sausages and bacon were cold on arrival. Also don’t ever buy a slice of cake because it’s an absolute rip off. I paid near £3 for what can only be described as a paper thin slice of cake. I never thought I’d say this but you get more for your money at Costa and Starbucks. However, they staff there are all lovely and it’s a nice atmosphere. Just don’t go for breakfast or for tea and cake.

3 of us dined here in Aug as part of the eat out to help out scheme. Slow service, food took a while to come and when it did it was dry and not very tasty - dry burgers, boring chicken ciabatta. I have eaten here before and have always enjoyed it, but it just feels like it has gone downhill a bit. Won't be rushing back anytime soon. Which is a shame.

We always enjoy coming here staff are lovely, food menu is great! Gluten free options available!!! Atmosphere is so chilled but one thing i noticed was behind the bar a worker emptied a bin and the rubbish fell on the floor he continued to take the bag out but didn’t pick up litter around it. The other staff also continued to walk about adding to the mess on the floor not great when your making drinks! I would actually come again as the food is nice but pls just be alittle more attentive to the details of cleanliness!! They are however adhering to the Covid -19 procedures social distancing etc...

Alright place for food and drinks. Been many times and it's always the same so you know what you're getting. Food is alright, nothing amazing and the poached eggs are always a little over but it's nice enough. Staff are fine and usually helpful.Occasionally there are oversights or delays which I would put down to a predominantly young/inexperienced staff.It's a nice location and a spacious place. Good if you have kids (I don't) as there are toys and kids' dishes.Good space and good selection with plenty for vegetarians.

Enjoyed lunch with ex work colleagues. Ordered tapas selection which was very nice and shared a few bottles of wine which was reasonably priced. Not rushed and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.

Came here for drinks, staff were so miserable, we sat outside and weren’t allowed to smoke despite sitting away from people. When our drinks were bought to our table the waitress looked like she hated her life, no enthusiasm. Ordered bottled cider and was out of date, tasted very vinegary - was quickly sorted by a member of staff. Draft beer was also very flat, almost like they hadn’t cleaned the lines properly.

As the title suggests , Bevano does not have a smoking area( you have to walk to the train station!) or any provisions for al fresco diners when it rains! - the rude staff will direct you to the bus stop for shelter!! Will not be going again. The food and drinks were over priced. Warm wine at a bus stop is not my idea of a night out. Avoid.

First meal out since lockdown was eased and we chose Bevano for a quick brunch/lunch visit. We've been here several times previously and always had good food and service. It was pretty much business as usual from a food perspective with an excellent quality brunch breakfast and super tasty burger. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. The big change is obviously around the new Covid-19 protective measures but these were all in place and working well. There's sanitiser for you as you come in the door, the tables are slightly further apart and are cleaned down after each customer. Although you can still order at the bar if you really have to, we used the mobile phone based system that is clear and simple. It took us less than 30 seconds to place and pay for our meals. Highly recommended

Went with wife and grandson for brunch,excellent breakfast and veggie breakfast with good quality ingredients cooked very well. Quirky decor and mixed clientele, only visited in daytime so cannot vouch for evenings but wouldn't hesitate any time.

Dog friendly but as far as I could tell, despite asking, not disabled friendly. Toilets up the stairs. No information to say that orders have to be placed at the bar, and paid for, before taking a seat. Ordered the vegetarian breakfast but had to change three of the items due to chronic intolerances.Staff happy to oblige but never asked if I would like to replace them with other items listed on the menu. Had to ask if the items removed would be replaced -- not a good sign. Toast comes with the meal, but wasn't asked if I wanted gluten free or regular bread even though the menu I ordered from was not the Gluten Free/Vegan menu. As it was, they gave me gluten free bread which resulted in a major IBS attack. If you are able bodied and eat meat, like advocado and can eat gluten free bread then it is good. If you have food intolerances and/or disabled then it is your decision. I am not saying go or stay away - just consider carefully.

Love this place! My husband and I often call in For either just drinks or Both food and drinks. It’s always a lovely atmosphere whatever time of day and the staff are lovely too.

I visit bevano about once a month for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and every time I have a pleasant experience the staff are always welcoming and the food is always good and the decor makes it really cosy. One of my favourite places in urmston

I met friends here for brunch. The Bevano lounge has a nice cosy atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. I had eggs benedict and they were delicious. Portion size was good too.

Visited for a casual evening meal on a tuesday, the tapas was suggested and we were very pleased with the food . Good value as it includes a glass of wine. Relaxed atmosphere family friendly.

Stopped for a late midweek lunch, we ordered various burgers and fries which were very good, generous portion, everything was hot and fresh. Nice to have vegan options. Water is free to help yourself to and you are welcome to fill your own drinking bottles to go also.

we came here when it opened, sadly its had its day , food very average for the price, the table and sides are filthy, had to ask for the table to be cleaned and the chew gum removed. The seating has worn out, and they stop you from smoking outside, prices are high, with premises springing up in Urmston , a know have choice, but it wont be here.

Second visit in a month, no suprises my friend and i enjoyed our meals they were hot ,tasty and decent sized portions.The staff were quick friendly and efficient, seems a shame not all their reviews show this.

We popped in after doing some shopping in the area , we ordered their selection of tapas dishes and a cheesy fries , the tapas was average, but the chips were an absolute Joke(see the photo below ) this is apparently a normal portion !!! I asked the server if this was the correct portion size for the chips and said they were a bit small .. his response was I don’t make them .. and walked off ... seriously poor service we will not be returning any time soon !!!!!!!!

Typical bar food, large bar lots of tables very busy. Hygiene a little questionable however food was good had chilli much better then expected.

Love the Bevano Lounge, especially because they serve plenty of veggie and vegan food. They also have gluten-free meals. Wide range of spirits, beers, ciders, wines and cocktails at the bar. Staff friendly and helpful. Food really is delicious, plentiful and mouth-watering and all cooked freshly and ready to order. The pub / restaurant is dog friendly, you can take your pet! There's outside seating too. Child friendly and wheelchair accessible. Lovely place, fresh, clean, spacious and light and airy. Easier to get in at lunch times in the week, but weekends and evenings it's very busy, as it's so popular and loved. Bravo Bevano Lounge, we will be back again.

Went there at 10.30 in the morning to meet up with Old Urmstonians I had not seen for some 50 years, there must have been about 16 of us. They put 3 tables together we had coffee some had alcohol and some had lunch, we stayed a good 3 hours and never at any time were we hassled for our tables by the staff. Strongly recommend this place Coffee was excellent as was the Tapas

I went today for lunch there was a whole menu of gluten free choices and the chef said their fries are cooked in a separate fryer too so no chance of cross contamination. Food and service was great. Atmosphere great. Kid and pram friendly place (during the day anyway - no idea about the evening).

We came to the Tuesday Tapas night. The food was very good and the service was Excellant. We were well looked after! We'll be back soon!

Visited for lunch this afternoon and had a delicious meal. Had one of the specials as recommended by Adam who was fantastic, guided us through the menu and the allergens as one of our party had a allergy to Gluten. He was efficient and friendly. We sat down, our coffees came over and we waited less than 15 mins which was refreshing. Our food was brought to our table by a lovely waitress named Jess I think. Piping hot and tasted great. She was extremely helpful and engaging. Think we will be visiting more often!

Been here a few times for different meals/times of the day! Food is amazing and they have a great selection! The also have there own separate gluten free, vegetarian & vegan menu options, so a good choice for everyone! We’ve had the breakfast, lunch & dinner menus, and have always had fantastic food! We have never had a bad experience here! Staff are so friendly, and the place is dog friendly too! With the option for water bowls and doggy treats at the bar! We have also been here on a night out, and there drink selection is fantastic! Lots of different non boring options! So everyone is catered for! The vibe and decor in this place is really a one of a kind! And it really has to be experienced! To really feel the full version of this place, you need to come here a few times at different times of the day! As this place does really change throughout the day but in a great way!

Popped in for lunch whilst visiting my sister, it’s one of her regular haunts. First thing that struck me was the lovely decor, very unique! Nice bright open space! Nice buzz about the place very busy and had a great atmosphere. The staff are just amazing, nice and smiley and can’t help enough. One of the manager spoke to me about all the photographs too. This place is full of character. Food was delicious and service was pretty good too! I’d recommend popping in for lunch!

Very very impressed with the food i had. Took my daughter for brunch I had the lounge breakfast and she had the diner brunch. Everything cooked to perfection.. I loved the fact that everything came hot including our coffees which I find in most restaurants the hot drinks can be a little better. I will be coming back for the crispy bacon thats for sure!

My wife and I used to be regular visitors,we were disappointed a short time ago after waiting at least 40 minutes to be served with our order which comprised of just 2 slices of toast each,the tea ordered at the same time had already been consumed by this time,when I mentioned the waiting time to the management I was met with the answer of,"well we are busy". The biggest let down of this eatery is no matter how slow or busy the footfall through the door,there will only ever be just the one person to take your order at the counter.

We used to love Bevano and have been regular visitors since it opened. However, of late we’ve noticed a real decline in the service, they appear understaffed, the staff that there are are decidedly surly & the wait for simple things like a coffee (even at quiet times) is ridiculous. My coffee arrived after I’d finished my breakfast this morning, another time our lunch sat on the service hatch for several minutes before I went and got it myself (despite pointing it out to members of staff twice). I really hope they sort themselves out and get back to how they were when they first opened.

Regular visitor, love the lounges experience. Usually. It wasn’t that they forgot to bring the coffee and when I chased it with the blonde guy making them he didn’t apologise just stated that he didn’t have a ticket for one but that he’d do it now. It wasn’t that people were being served their coffee after being sat 10 minutes when we’d been waiting over 25 mins. It wasn’t that when we asked about our food they argued that the orders are done as they are recieved despite the fact that people were already eating who had arrived after us. It wasn’t the fact that when my food arrived the eggs were underdone, it wasn’t the fact that the waitress didn’t apologise she just said oh, do you want them overdone, no just cooked without undercooked goo on top. The reason I won’t ever go back? As simple as an apology, we didn’t get one. If I had worked there I would have come over, apologised for the mix up, explained what had happened and that would have been enough. I visit approx 25 times per year spending over £20 so that’s £500 per year they have lost.

It was busy on a Saturday evening yet the service was timely and efficient. You order at the bar from the reasonably priced menu with a decent range of vegan choices. It’s clearly a very popular place to eat and drink and had a nice vibe, reinforced by the friendly staff. The bottle of Prosecco we ordered was well presented in an ice bucket and the food, although by no means spectacular, and making no pretence to be gourmet, was very appetising particularly the vegan slaw that came with the pulled jackfruit burger and fries. There seemed to be a good choice of tapas style dishes of which my friend had three and enjoyed. The walls are covered with a fabulous collection of sixties kitsch paintings and photography.

Have to confess I love this chain altthough my friend wasnt keen as prefers independent outlets. Despite this we got a decent glass of reasonably priced red wine, comfortable seats on some sofas and passed an hour or so in a relaxed environment.

Nice varied menu and friendly vibe. Service isn't great - we waited a long time for basic eggs and burgers. Enjoyed overall.

Visited Bevano Lounge after looking at the menu and thought there was plenty to choose from. We ordered the lunch time special, cup of soup and 1/2 panini, breakfast muffin and a side portion of sweet potato fries. Now the food was tasty yet the portion size was extremely small for the price. The price of sweet potatoes was £3.50 and we must have receive half a dozen, the soup was adequate and panini was probably the best part of the food. Hot and tasty. The breakfast muffin looked lovely though I didn’t eat this. The kids toys and activities they offer to keep them entertained is always a great idea, be better if they were cleaned once in a while!
