The service was incredible. We felt very special for our catch up. Dran was always attentive and present as was everyone. Good job

Absolute disgrace, I hate the scallops as a starter and got three button-sized scallops, quite tasty but nothing special. Then I had the roast duck as a main, the duck was so tough I could not cut through it with my knife, when I mentioned this to the waiter he just took away my knife and replaced it with a steak knife, even that would not cut through the duck, the so-called dauphin potatoes it was supposed to come with was just a small rectangle of mashed potatoes with a bit of cress on top, I also paid £6.50 for their specialist bread which turned out to be a semi-stale single slice of bread cut into 4 small pieces, in conclusion the duck was so tough I could not eat it and the rest was rubbish, what are you waste of over £60

Dren and Dril’s service was as perfect as the food, wine, decor and ambience. It was the perfect meal prior to our theatre show.

This looks like a lovely quiet spot just off the main tourist attractions of central London. The staff were helpful and polite. The menu is not what is shown online which is hard when you have a fussy eater who has determined their food in advance. This meant we only ordered mains as opposed to starters as well. The duck breast was cooked well but potatoes were not an advertised and the “crushed apple” was cold with the hot main - which was odd. The steak was ordered as medium but was beyond well done. The staff however were very apologetic and gave us a free sorbet. We could not fault them for their service. It was however extremely expensive - even in London terms for a meal that was mediocre at best

very disappointing experience. Sat outside and was offered a very limited menu card. asked if that was allthey had and was told that due to renovation there were no specials. We then ordereda glass of champagne and a fresh orange juice. when it arrived the orange juice was not fresh and on equiring was told they didnt have that. We then ordered food and two of the items we ordered were not availale. Considering there were so few items on the menu it would have ben reasonable for the waiter to tell us this when we enquired if tehre were any additional items available. At this stage we decided to leave as nothing else looked appealing to us. we realised then tahn hardly any other table were eating , just drinking so this is basically a bar with a little food choice. The bill for the drinks came with the orange juice which remained not drinkable and 2 cover charges on it, totally unacceptable but I decided not to argue the point as we had to find a different place to have dinner before the theatre. Will never return, that is for sure!

2nd visit in 6 months and was just as excellent. Friendly staff and beautiful food. It all looks Michelin quality and tastes sooo good. Highly recommend

What a fantastic surprise this place is. The meal was top quality and the waiters brilliant and attentive. We even saw Lee Mack enter the rear stage door entrance of the theatre next door (get the window seat from 6 onwards). I would go to this restaurant again when in London next and you should do the same 👍. Best meal of our London trip.

I went with two of my daughters as a pre theatre dinner. The food and drinks were excellent and the service superb. We were made to feel special and everything was beautifully presented. The menu wasn’t extensive but there was plenty of choice for us. It was a memorable meal and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Amazing place to eat. We had an issue with booking a table with Quandoo, however the manager Drilon,(Apologies if the name is misspelt), was great and was able to arrange a table for us during the busy festive time. We order lamb and duck for mains and I have to say it was probably the best we have tasted in a long time. Both the lamb and duck were melt in the mouth, and the dessert to follow was just as great. The restaurant was cosy, warm and inviting, exactly what 4 girls from Manchester needed to get into the Christmas spirit in London. Look forward to our next visit.

Although the service was good and the waiter was nice, the food was terrible and ridiculously overpriced. I used to love coming to this little restaurant where there was a great menu at reasonable prices but it seems to have changed out of all recognition. Very expensive now and the food was awful.

We visited Koha as a group of friends celebrating a big birthday. This was a pre-theatre reservation. We arrived 10/15 minutes late (uber issue) I had contacted them to advise we were running late, it was not a problem. It was a little quiet when we arrived which was concerning initally, but we soon realised we had nothing to worry about. We were shown to our table and the two waiters made time to make coversation, asking about us, where we were from etc and just taking a general interest, before offering us some insight in to the restaurant and their history there. We ordered our food, as we were celebrating a birthday we were offered a drink on the house, it was a greek liquer and was delicious. Then the food arrived, I can't speak highly enough of it. I had the fillet steak, it was cooked to perfection. My sister had the artichoke, she said it was the best she has ever had. A few others had the duck, one of my friends said it was one of the nicest meals she has eaten, ever!! The desserts arrived with a chorus of happy birthday, which the staff and others diners engaged in also. Everything from when we entered until we left was just amazing, the atmosphere, the staff and the food are just top notch.

Looking for somewhere before going to the theatre, found this place and can't fault any course. Couldn't decide on what to have for dessert. Our server recommended the passion fruit cheesecake, saying if I didn't like it, he would change it, but that didn't happen as it was gorgeous. Will be back.

Whilst looking for somewhere to eat before a show we found this place and sat outside in the sun. The food is reasonably priced and we had a great meal. The food was superb and we had decided to be good and not have a desert, until we saw a desert arriving on the next table, it looked so good we had to have it. Great place with gorgeous food.

Traditional decor and friendly waiting staff. The steak was OK. The risotto tasted like rice with water poured over it and the burger was too salty. Overall disappointing.

Fabulous meal and attentive staff. We had the lobster ravioli with asparagus and homemade focaccia. The service was quick and the waiters were good at coming and checking that everything was ok. Great meal before our theatre trip. Will definitely go back.

Very quaint. We were 45 minutes early after a show, and they took us right in. The ambiance was very positive with cozy decor and a great deal of lively conversation. We are Americans and enjoyed the lively feeling. Now about the food. Wow, it was absolutely delicious. I ordered sea bass which was the best I ever tasted. The lemon sauce was excellent. The vegetables were also good. My husband ordered lobster ravioli with shrimp and shrimp bisque. He loved it. My glass of Malbec was very good.

Perfect place for pre theatre drinks and meal/snacks. Hidden away a stones throw from the Wyndham Theatre it wasn’t too busy (a Saturday lunchtime) and the service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and drinks were very reasonably priced. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Hovedrettene som var gnocchi med spinat var ok i smak, men seig i konsistensen. Kyllingbryst var svært tørt, og igjen så og si uten krydder, men vin (Malbec Reserva var bra). Servitørene var i og for seg hyggelige, men svært stresset. Kan dessverre ikke anbefale dette stedet.

I wanted to treat a colleague as he had completed 40 years service. We visited on his recommendation and I can say nothing to fault our visit. This was my first visit and immediately was genuinely welcomed as if I was a regular. Food was amazing,well presented and prompt. Service was beyond expectations. Will I be back? Yes definitely.

We had a really nice meal here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is chilled and friendly led by the charming and funny staff. The food is good, we had the duck and burgers and found both really tasty and well portioned. We really enjoyed our evening and recommend.

Café Koha is a delightful restaurant, quiet and intimate at lunchtime, with a very good value lunch menu. The food is good, simple but delicious, good wines, and the service is really marvellous. The waiters are friendly, charming and attentive, and have a perfect sense of when you need attention and when you don't. A rare skill. If you have a business meeting or are just meeting friends, this is the perfect refuge in the West End.

We have visited this place many times and have never been disappointed. Love the food, the location, the staff. I would definitely recommend it for pre-theatre meal, dinner or lunch. This was the second time at Koha, the first time was for drinks,this time drinks and food. It is very conveniently located, everyone was attentive, the waiters had a good sense of humour, Service was good and the food lovely and well priced.

Such a great place. In the middle of London but at the same time a quite place for contemplation. Enjoyed a nice time having a beer. But the best thing about this place is its staff! Very friendly and helpful!!! It is what made it unique in this chaotic city. They give such a nice vibe to this bar/restaurant which under other circumstances would pass indistinguishable. Encontré este lugar mientras intentaba encontrar un lugar para comer en Londres en diciembre. Parecía muy tranquilo, así que no era optimista sobre la comida. Qué equivocado estaba. Como solista, me sentí muy bienvenido. La comida era excelente, recién hecha y muy caliente. Definitivamente buscaría este lugar de nuevo. No es un mal precio para Londres tampoco.

Ursprünglich wollten wir nur etwas trinken. Aber es war sehr gemütlich dort also haben wir uns das Menü angesehen. Das Essen war sehr gut zu super Preisen. Wir hatten den Baby Squid, den Burger, die herbal Potatos und den Rucolasalat mit Parmesan. Die Atmosphäre ist super gemütlich und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn ich in London wohnen würde würde ich dort immer wieder hingehen, was Londoner auch machen, was immer ein gutes Zeichen ist wenn Locals dort sind. Zu kalten Jahreszeiten sollte man vielleicht nicht direkt bei der Tür sitzen da es zieht.

This has to be the best restaurant in west end theatre-land. Food is always fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. They also do some amazing cocktails if you just want to have a drink. I would definitely recommend it.

La tarta de queso fue un sueño. El personal era amable y educado. El bar está a 1 minuto a pie de la estación de metro Leicester Square, por lo que es fácil llegar. Excelente lugar. Volveremos en nuestro próximo viaje al teatro.

I discovered Koha last year; it was recommended to me by the ticket seller at Wyndham's Theatre. It has an excellent pre-theatre 2-course Menu for £13.95. Last year I had the caramelized red onion tart, & a melt-in-the-mouth Grey Mullet with new potatoes and samphire. It was perfect.

If you're in Leicester Square,pre-theatre or otherwise this smallish restaurant is comfortable,and has well prepared food and excellent service. W e went there pre-theatre.they had a two course menu,starter and main at £13.95,the Italian style chicken was particularly good.Total bill came to £50,including two glasses of wine,coffee and a service charge.

Chose this as it was so close to the theatre. It was a good find. Friends said how much they enjoyed their food. I am a vegetarian and found the menu a little restrictive. Four of us had 2 courses each plus beers & wine for around £30 a head. Staff are great and it's cosy.

Wednesday evening post matinee, pre evening show and we were struggling to find a restaurant!

We had a great pre-theatre meal, both good value and a cut above even the best chains operating in the area. Our first visit but I don't know how we missed Koha for so many years. Fast and attentive but unintrusive service lead by manager Albi with no pressure to surrender the table before our show at Wyndhams. Clearly a local institution and visibly a favourite with theatre industry insiders, convincingly contradicting a sprinkling of less than glowing and bafflingly picky reviews.

This restaurant is really a hidden gem. It is located close to Leicester Square in a small street. The food is excellent value for money and the staff are all very friendly. You can sit outside when the weather is nice and it surprisingly quiet for being so close to the biggest touristic hotspots. I would highly recommend this place!

Fell on this place and wasn't very sure initially, but so glad we stayed. Starters of scallops was delish and the soup very tasty. Opted for 2 steaks for mains which were done to perfection. Staff all lovely and friendly and we will definately return.

Maybe it was an "off" night. Or - as we told - the Manager was away. This place has been good before, but something's gone badly wrong. After the meal we sat for 30 mins completely ignored, I ended up clearing the plates and took them into the kitchen, to tersely ask for the bill - which when it arrived included a service charge.... which we declined to pay. Wouldn't go back in a hurry
