Excellent customer service from baristas made Wednesday evening so nice!

as a vegetarian I’m disgusted at this Costa branch. Saw the lady working there put ham and cheese pastry inside the oven and then my crossiant? Didn’t put a new oven sheet, used the same one. Disgusting. Had to walk to out.

Have been more than once before and staff were good. This morning was a Sunday and they were totally disinterested!

The worst cortado I have ever tasted. The Filipino worker is unfriendly. There is a wide variety of options. Good location

Staff are very lazy to clean the table properly ( sticky)and they left empty cups and plates for customers to clean for them . Terrible

Stopped by a few times and the staff do a good job. Do remember once there was only one lady serving but maybe that was a one off. But good job The downside is the atmosphere. Everytime tha to have walked up to it, from outside it looks so dark and dusty. The shop walls are painted black from outside and I would think it to be a better idea for it to be a bright colour. Secondly, the light inside need to be bright. The full lights do not do justice to the ample sitting place

Customer service is what many times makes a difference. I came in to buy a coconut latte, I assumed I ordered a medium size one. However, I was served and charged for a small size one. I couldn't remember, but I asked the barista if my drink was a medium size. He, without checking at all, decided to replace my drink. After that, I was happy and ashamed at the same time because I had forgotten. Although, I appreciated the gesture of replacing it without asking. It was my mistake, it can happen to anyone. I was still attended patiently. The place is nice inside.

My preferred coffee shop chain, I enjoy the way the coffee tastes. Worked remotely here one morning, WiFi was great and with access to power outlet. Seats were comfortable. Staff were very kind BUT when they were talking amongst themselves LOUDLY they were SWEARING a lot. I don’t expect vulgar language from Costa staff, but it can be found in this branch. Good to have a customer toilet, even better if it was clean

I just wanted to buy a flat white and croissant after a hospital visit, but the two staff members kept staring at me, talking, and laughing at me with some very weird facial expressions. I have no idea what I did wrong, but this made me extremely uncomfortable. If the manager team sees this review, it was on the morning, around 10 am on March 15th.

Terry’s hot chocolate was the best. I don’t drink coffee and hot chocolate from costa was an option. Overall 10/10. Highly recommended. Thank You.

Brilliant service at this customer shop! I had an appointment at St Mary's Hospital after that I need a place to work from. Carlos was a star, he was kind and helpful. It really does make a difference when receive good quality customer service.

Regular Costa Coffee shop. Clean, tidy, nice coffee .

The coffee here is perfect. The staff is very fast and kind as well. I loved it to come here each morning to get my morning coffee. If you have the chance you really have to come visit this cafe. I will come here again as soon as I’m in London again. On the last day I even got two small chocolate samples from the waiter as if he knew it’s my last day here. I really recommend this coffee shop!

Wir waren immer zum Frühstück dort. Preis für Kaffee sehr gut. Besser als im nahen Ubahnhof Paddington zu Frühstücken. Kein Stress und Lärm. Service war sehr gut.

Personally, I think this is the best coffee in England. It’s not bitter and every cup is made fresh. The lattes have the perfect amount of steamed milk. If you order a large be prepared to use 2 hands, it’s huge. Staff and owner at this location are very nice. There’s also a nice seating area so you can sit and relax

At 6am today they were noisily throwing tables and chairs outside, waking up the whole neighbourhood. Not the first time, too

This rating is purely for Carlos! He’s a hard working person, people like him are rare to find these days! Give this man a raise !

Would like to give 5 stars to a guy name Kareem behind the till. Ordered a latte and asked him that if I could pay quickly due to having a video meeting and he said he will bring at my table in which he did. Very kind man and great customer service!

Staff were excellent as usual but shop needs a bit of a refurbishment

Nice service, very fast, clean bathroom but this is not a way to serve a tea... You need to descale/clear your tea pots!

The coffee was fine, and the service was cheerful and helpful.

Not a huge fan of the sandwiches or cakes there but the service was good and efficient. I also liked the hot chocolate, but ask for extra hot if you don’t like lukewarm milky drink.

I love Costa but this one was the best one i’ve been to! Very kind staff and the Cajun chicken wrap toasted was so fresh. Highly recommend!

朝食で利用しました。 パディントン駅を出て割とすぐの場所にあります。 店内はそれほど広くありませんが、スーツケースを持っていても入れますし、イートインのお客さんはあまりいませんでした。 私はWhite hot chocolateとエリザベススポンジマフィンを頼みました。どちらもそれほど甘党ではなに私には甘すぎました😂夫が頼んだEnglish breakfast teaはfuze teaのティーバッグが使われており、美味しかったです。 モーニングのスタッフさんはとても楽しく、素敵な接客をしてくださりました☺️おかげで、旅行の最後は良い思い出となりました。 こんなスタッフのいるお店が日本にもあれば嬉しいなぁと思います。朝から元気がもらえます😊

Went to try Mango Bubble Frappe but they did not have it. What's the use of advertising when you don't have it in stock

The nicest people working here, Rita went and got me not just one, but two really tasty salads, as the one I had ordered was a bit mouldy. Never experienced such generosity! Her colleague was really friendly too. Really lovely place.

Pleasant small Costa with friendly staff near Paddington Station.

On arriving at Costa coffee Praed Street after a 2 hour + train journey all I wanted was a Caramel Latte and a chocolate twist, sadly all the chocolate twists were gone 😔 I sat down with my Caramel Late and joined a teams call (the new normal) after 5 minutes I noticed a Chocolate twist had appeared, and when I turned around the manager apologised saying she was touched by my comments. Once I finished my call I thanked her, it was then that I established that the manager went out of her way to purchase one from another shop on Praed Street 👏👏👏👍👍🙂 Really made my day, fantastic service

The chap behind the till served us with aplomb and a really positive can do attitude. Drinks were great too. The Costa itself is a little cramped and quite full of laptop expresso hoggers which reduces the amount of seating available. Then we walked to Paddington where we caught a train, much to our surprise.

I ordered a hot chocolate for my partner and an oat mocha for myself. There were no faults with the hot chocolate, but my oat mocha was missing just one thing, the oat milk. Usually I don't complain, but I had specifically asked as I am lactose intolerant. As anyone lactose intolerant will tell you it is not a nice experience when you realise it was the milk, as well as being a waste of money, especially given that I went back to the counter to double check, it was what I ordered. I was already stressed as I was graduating the next day, so a stressful experience made worse by numerous trips to the toilet. Because of this experience I will not be in a great rush to use Costa coffee in the future.

I took the new After eight hot chocolate because I was amazed by the image and I really wanted to try it... but then when it was ready it was just a normal hot chocolate like they always do and they gave me a small after eight chocolate. I was really disappointed to be fair, and they made me pay more too because it was meant to be an After Eight hot chocolate. I won't order the Christmas menu anymore to avoid being disappointed again on hot chocolates.

My favourite coffee shop in Paddington. Amazing coffee, quick service and very kind staff, expecially Rita that always make me smile. Highly recommended.

Praed Street Costa Coffee Branch, the Caramel latte tasted horrible, definitely not upto Costa Coffee standard, it was my first visit to this branch in Paddington and my last!!! I'll stick to Costa Coffee on George Street.

I like this costa coffee located in Paddington station - its a bit out of the way and kind of “hidden” but nevertheless it offers everything you would look for from a Costa Coffee. Good coffee and of course a selection of different snacks and things to eat. Staff are friendly and helpful and will try and support you where they can.

Always enjoyed my Cappuccino in the mornings as a pick up

Staff was great. I appreciated the kindness of these two women a lot. It's much different than so many unfriendly baristas everywhere else. Here they smile and seem to love what they're doing. They literally made me leave with a smile on my face. Coffee was very good and the place was clean. Coming back for sure.

The service is superb and the coffees are the best out of all the Costas I ever been. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Liana and Reni are the most amazing baristas. 😁

Oh dear what a terrible experience. Two staff on shift were quiet and seemed unhappy. The other one very loud, appearing to be the life and soul of the party. She was not, she was loud and rude. She mocked me for my speech told others who complained about their coffee that there was nothing wrong with it but that she would make another, the other member of staff had already sorted the problem but she persisted in being loud about it. To top it off the coffee was dreadful, very bitter. I am a regular costa coffee goer but not to this one, ever again.

Worst coffee shop. Have promotions on and dont abide by them. Forgot to make my coffee . Don’t give you sauce with your bacon bap.

パディントン駅構内にあるコスタ。奥まった場所の最上階にあるためか、ランチタイムでも十分な空席があることがうれしい。スタッフも笑顔で対応、しかもテキパキとしていることが気持ちよいですね。

Walked out after abandoning my Breakfast here today, this chain advertises a four egg omelette on the window, what I got was a flat unappetising rubbery pancake, (see photograph) this flat piece is made from stored preserved egg liquid from a bottle and NOT from cracking open fresh eggs, they try to pass this thing off as a four eggs omelette. The Olives cost £1.50 more and this insipid dish with coffee costs £9.50. Tasted like soft rubber and some of the uncooked raw egg liquid was left on top (see photograph) very disgusting. Dumped this breakfast after one bite and went and rinsed my mouth, went next door to a a English cafe and ordered fresh two eggs on beautiful toasted brown toast and excellent coffee for much less than half the price. I like the Costa Coffee but avoid this Costa it’s small and dingy and the staff indifferent, if you are going in only for coffee find a more comfortable Costa.

Every time have been in here the staff are so happy. No matter what sort of day your having will always brighten your day. They have Tea, Toast (mainly in here for breakfast), WiFi (most of the time), power and somewhere to sit which is all you need. Clean and close to Paddington, Edgeware Road and Marylebone so can get to anywhere from here.

Just like any other Costa, coffee is average, tables are messy due to chronic understaffing. Don't even ask about the toilets. They're probably making a horrific profit.

I always visit Costa and I consider myself as a frequent client to Costa so I've to visit most of their branches. This branch is really nice and I go there in the morning to study while having my tadty hot mocca. The staff is really helpful. The rest room is clean and sitting area is really good.

This was the first time ordering a coffee in London for about 4 years and so I forgot the sizing, I am use to Australian sizes. I ordered a medium mocha and when a garden bucket was placed in front of me I did have a chuckle. The coffee was quite good and perked me up for the day. It would be good if the chain served lactose free milk.

I do like COSTA coffee shops. The coffee is always of good quality and they offer a good selection of food, from cakes, pastries and sandwiches.

Lukewarm coffee. No excuse. Been to many other Costa's and had the same Americano, always hot as expected. This one failed. Also, customer newspapers out of date - one Evening Standard was 5 days old!! Staff need to show they care, surely?
