Mi esposo y yo encontramos este bonito bar el día de San Valentín. ¡Era perfecto, privado y hermoso! Incluso pudimos elegir canciones de blues para mi esposo y para mí. El personal era amable, servicial y educado con muchas sonrisas. Pedimos comida especial - ostras y langostinos empanados para empezar. Simplemente perfecto. Nos encantó. Estamos planeando una visita allí para el Día del Padre por la gracia de Dios.

Acabamos de recibir nuestro pedido de Kelstar y la comida era absolutamente delicioso. Comimos hamburguesas de pollo, pollo en rodajas con salsa pimienta y patatas fritas. Sin duda volveremos a pedir desde aquí. Muy recomendable! ¡Qué bueno que ahora tenemos una buena ventaja para los negros! ¡Bienvenido Kelstar!

Another lovely lunch, delicious broccoli & cheddar soup served with wheaten bread, and a scrumptious scotch egg with a side of homemade pork & mustard sausage roll for the other half, thanks girls, another delightful visit.

Great pub for vegan pub grubm very reasonable priced, even cheaper if you take food to donate to their foodbank collections. Fried offerings, and vegan burgers. Polenta fries are great, as is Mac cheese, oh ok and the vegan fish burger with kim chi

Me my self got a chicken fillet supper with a side of gravy to dip my delicious chicken in to. My friend got scampi supper . Food was 5 * Service was 5 * Value was 5 * Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work team.

My friends and I booked a pre theatre meal here not really knowing what to expect and we can honestly say this is our new place to eat. We all had fish and chips which was absolutely delicious as well as piping hot. Desserts were varied but we all were amazed by the large portion sizes, including the ice cream. Toby ,our server was an absolute credit to the restaurant ,with his attentive service, helpfulness and friendly personality. We asked if Sangria was available and although it wasn't on the drinks list 2 jug fulls appeared at our table as they kindly made it up for us and was actually the best we've ever tasted.

Came in here on a Saturday night and it should've been packed but it was absolutely dead. The bar surface/floor was horrible and sticky, it's so dark and loud in there we couldn't see/hear each other. There was about 4 tables in the whole room and it's just as well that the place was empty. We tried to go to the smoking area outside but it was locked and the bouncer made us go back downstairs to sit in the really loud music room. No thanks.

The food was actually ok and fresh! The staff member can only imagine it’s the owner was unbelievably rude & unhelpful we are staying here for the weekend so we are not local - she seemed friendly to the locals! Our money is just as good as anyone else’s and some courtesy would not go a miss! HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND COD & CHIPS??? Unbelievable rudeness! Avoid if your not local!

We visited The Buck Inn at Chop Gate September, and unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed due to the unwelcoming attitude of the barman. From the moment I walked in, it was clear he had no interest in making customers feel at ease. No smile, no greeting just a cold, unfriendly demeanor that instantly made me feel uncomfortable. When I ordered, he was abrupt and seemed irritated, as though serving us was a hassle rather than his job. There was no warmth or hospitality, which is the bare minimum you’d expect when visiting a country pub. We were also told Pop off as it approached 9pm. The setting might be charming, but the barman’s attitude really ruined the experience. I won’t be hurrying back if that’s how paying customers are treated.

Popped into the farm shop for impromptu breakfast, and was not disappointed, The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, the food was amazing. We will be back soon.
