Gran lugar!

Bisous.

Great place for coffee and cake, of which are homemade! I would recommend the carrot which was fantastic. Fresh and moist, not like those in the likes of Starbucks! Great breakfast menu too.

We have been to Tim's kitchen for a family lunch during the half-term with our two children (4 and 8). The place was nice and clean, staff very attentive to adults as well as to children. We ate homemade lasagna, potato dumplings and panini as main (delicious) and after that cakes(scrumptious homemade) and coffee (real italian espresso yeah!!). The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the staff was very patient, despite having two overexcited children running around!!! We really enjoyed our visit and will definitively go back again and again!!!

Forget queueing to get into The Breakfast Club! This is miles nicer. Orange juice is gorgeous and fresh, coffee is great. Try the Croque Madame, most cheesy yummy brunch ever (although it's huge so you may need a nap afterwards!). Highly recommend :)

We loved everything about our visit to Tim's Kitchen. We found a table easily, although the place was nicely full as it was Saturday lunchtime. My boyfriend had the lasagne and thought it was fantastic (he's lived Italy so his standards are pretty high). I had carbonara quiche, which is literally a revelation. It changed my life. All quiche needs spaghetti in it. It was bloody amazing. £8.50 for lasagna and £7 for quiche - both served with salad and totally worth every penny. 100% recommend.

I was dissapointed with the service, they were unhappy to sub my mushrooms for a tomato on my full english which made me feel uncomfortable. Not that it is staggeringly expensive but for what it was I felt it was overpriced. The food was average, they forgot to give us our change for the bill and were suspicious when we asked where it was. What i did like was its ethical food sourcing and it wasnt a chain, but apart from that i dont think i would go again

Accepting of children, but also a good place to get some work done. Good food, excellent coffee, great wines... But it really is the people who make a difference. Thanks!

I visited here on a pleasant day as it has a nice little seating area outside. The service I received was great and the lady was very attentive. I ordered a Caprese Salad and a fresh orange juice. There was also a bottle of water for the table brought as standard. The food and drink were brought over quickly and the salad was very well presented and tasted great. I would definitely stop here again!

The croque-monsieur is gigantic, enough to feed two people! Maybe order a pain au chocolat on the side. French food lovers should be warned, the croque-monsieur comes with cream mixed with the cheese so it isn't made in the traditional way. Still delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they have a small yard at the back for the sunny days!

I recently visited Tim's Kitchen and was extremely disappointed. My friend and I ordered a drink and the cup and spoon she was given were both dirty, so she had to ask for it to be changed. We were then asked to move from a table of four to another table of four closer to the toilet to make room for a party that came in after us. This move was completely unnecessary, as both tables were exactly the same size. I ordered Eggs Benedict with the hollandaise on the side (pretty normal request). My eggs arrived with hollandaise on, so had to be sent back. Then when my brunch was returned my poach egg had no yolk in it. When I alerted the waiter to this he huffed at me, didn't apologise and snapped my plate away like I was the problem. After this my friend and I decided to leave and eat elsewhere. We informed the waiter and he huffed at me again and didn't apologise or attempt to resolve the situation. I told his manager that his waiter had a bad attitude and he literally full on ignored me. Shockingly bad service. There are so many brunch places in this area and I will not be returning.

We ate breakfast twice at Time's during our visit. Both times the food was excellent and their coffee is amazing. We had the full English breakfast, Croque Madam (AMAZING), omelets and the Eggs Royale (poached eggs on salmon & spinach) and everything was excellent. My one recommendation would be to order anything with hollandaise sauce with it to be served on the side as there was a but too much on the eggs both times. Other than that everything was yummy. Their gnocchi and risotto also look incredible.

This is the second time we have visited Tims Kitchen for breakfast. Our first visit was fine if a little over priced, but this time we were not made to feel welcome. Two members of our party went ahead and said we were a party of five and sat down. When we arrived we were told we could not sit at the table as it seated eight and they expected to get busy. We were then offered a high bar type table which due to the mobility of one of our party we couldn't accept. As the only other table was in a back room in the family section, we decided to go elsewhere. As we left the staff were sniggering and made sarcastic comments.

We've been here a couple of times recently and this review is based on our last visit. The menus change daily and are quite eclectic. Tim is Italian and Tony had meatballs and roast potatoes with homemade tomato sauce, which he loved, I had the French classic croque monsieur which was better than any version of that dish I've ever had in France. The toasted bread was thick and brown, the cheese was well melted, with a crispy finish and the ham was beautifully tender and flavourful. Tim's wife had baked the cakes from which we had our desserts, lemon drizzle for Tony and hazlenut and walnut for me. Delicious. We selected a Sicilian Syrah to accompany the meal, which was a revelation in itself..

Tim's carrot cake is amazing- so rich and tasty and a slice is a meal in itself! In fact, I have a feeling all of his cakes are fantastic. We went to get the carrot cake today but it was all sold out so had the chocolate brownie instead which was so gooey and smooth that we paired it with ice-cream and it made an amazing desert. I spoke with Tim and he makes them himself fresh every evening which I guess is why they are so good.

I've been here twice. First time was great, service was friendly, food was nice and also very affordable. However my second visit was a complete disaster. When we arrived it was busy, we sat down and was told that they would bring some menus over, after waiting for a while I went and got myself a menu from the counter. I then ordered a latte from one guy and then a couple of sandwiches from another waitress. The latte took about 20 minutes to arrive and to be fair to the guy, he said it would be on the house. After about 45 minutes later, the waitress came over and said 'have you had your food yet', it was pretty obvious we hadn't but still. She came back over and said 'sorry what was it you ordered again?', so she had forgotten to put the order on and so we just decided to leave. An hour of our Sunday wasted and two very hungry people. The annoying thing was there were loads of staff but nobody was moving with any sense of urgency...complete shambles and very badly managed, on this particular Sunday anyway. All I would say is, if it looks busy, don't bother. But if it's quiet then go for it.
