We’ve been to Bills on 3 octomber in the evening. We really enjoyed the food(very delicious) and the manager in charge was professional . The best part of our night was the waiter, named Gino , who paid attention to our table all the time (not only to our table , but to all the restaurant trying to satisfy everyone). Thank you Gino for making our last evening out (before the lockdown) special! We will be back as soon as lockdown ends !!

Vivimos localmente y estamos felices de que nuestro local Bill's finalmente haya abierto. Estábamos cenando el miércoles alrededor de las 7 pm. Casi todo el restaurante del frente estaba lleno. Entendemos la situación actual de la pandemia y el efecto en la industria hotelera. Sin embargo, debemos decir que la experiencia que tuvimos el miércoles en la cena es increíble. El personal de las dos niñas fue paciente y cortés al atender todas las necesidades de los clientes. Entendemos la escasez de personal y estas dos chicas fueron brillantes. No se preocupan pero se calman durante todo el servicio de cena. Bill's nos alegra que hayas vuelto y buena comida y servicio como siempre.

I paid £17 for 6 bits of small goujon fish and a small side, portion size is ridiculous. Server got the order wrong, then they added a 12.5 percent mandatory service charge. Not worth any of the money.

Ho accompagnato i miei genitori qui perché volevo che mangiassero del cibo di buona qualità in un posto tranquillo durante il loro primo tour di Putney. Da dove iniziare: dall'invadenza del personale, perennemente intorno. Abbiamo conversato più coi membri dello staff che non tra di noi, eravamo la loro attrazione preferita perché italiani. Sono uscita dal locale a fine pasto con un grande senso di insoddisfazione e scomodità. Il cibo, ahimè, questa volta mi ha provocato una spiacevole intossicazione, non so perché. Al palato mi è sembrato fresco, ma sapevo già che le pouched eggs, in realtà uova sode e dal colore inquietante, le avrei dovute far portare indietro. In definitiva una compagnia dal potenziale non sfruttato adeguatamente, al momento solo per palati super mediocri.

Bisto style but British cuisine. A jolly good menu including quite a few things we had not seen for ages.It looks welcoming from the outside and that is no deception. The waitresses made us instantly feel at home and in the evenings, with candlelight, the atmosphere is delightful. A bit of music but nothing the least bit obtrusive.We both started with prawn cocktail. Excellent. I then had a steak with fried egg and my wife had another starter - the mushrooms. For an after the cinema meal it was perfect. House rioja perfectly drinkable and not too expensive.Good smiley service.We will certainly return.

Lovely interior to the restaurant. Lots of food options suitable to all preferences. Staff are cautious when dealing with allergies which was reassuring. Food was fresh, of good quality and tasted nice. Service was a little slow and we were left for a while despite finishing.

Very good service, the waitress was so so kind and lovely. I went with a friend and we spend a really good time. I had a chicken burger and little doughnuts for pudding, amazing! I am gonna come back again, sure!

We popped in for a meal yesterday evening(Saturday), the welcome on the door was lovely and our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Food was great. We were looking for a place to eat and this place looked ok. We were offered some nibbles at the door to try and we thought we give it a go. The service was very friendly and keen and the food tasty. I ordered a vegetarian wellington, but when I saw it I was very disappointed, the portion was so small that it was not even a third of a normal dinner plate. It was advertised and priced as a main, but I was left being very hungry. I ordered a dessert to make up for the lack of food, and a pot of tea. I got a big pot with lots of water and consecutively very little flavour. My friends were happy, but I was not.1

Very tasty food, especially the banoffee doughnuts which were to die for. David our waiter was brilliant. He was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Después de ir a Twickenham, nos detuvimos aquí para conseguir comida antes de dirigirnos al sur. Nos recibieron a la llegada y nos dieron la opción de asientos. La camarera era divertida y disfrutamos de una buena broma. La comida era excelente y se sirve rápidamente. Los baños estaban arriba y estaban limpios y ordenados. Sin duda volveríamos a comer aquí de nuevo.

Have returned here many times with my female pal for Saturday brunch. Love the pancakes and eggs benedict. Staff and the lovely Northern manager are always so friendly, recognising us as regulars :) Great value for a premium experience!

As a big Bill's fan this one is one of my favorite. The food is great as always and the staff is great. Very welcoming nice little restaurant in the heart of putney. Love it!

I came here for brunch with a friend and as it was sunny the front of the store was open. It was a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. I got the fish finger sandwich which was amazing! Bill's has never disappointed me and I will continue to visit :)

Had a meal with business colleagues at Bill’s. Reasonably priced mid range restaurant. Food is fine, but not outstanding. Good service and friendly staff. Have to say the green curry was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Abbiamo scelto questo posto dopo aver letto le recensioni su TripAdvisor e siamo stati contenti. La location è davvero molto carina,le luci soffuse creano una piacevole atmosfera. Abbiamo scelto un piatto con verdure e formaggio fritto, avocado, olive, focaccia e salse;calamari fritti e fish pie. Tutto buonissimo, oltre le nostre aspettative. Lo consigliamo a chi si trova nella zona.

Visitamos este restaurante en un domingo 1130 reserva para un brunch familiar. Encantadora camarera que nos atendió para bebidas y comida. Las bebidas fueron entregadas después de una espera, pero como había licuados ordenados, nos dimos cuenta de que toman tiempo. El restaurante estaba muy ocupado y no parecía el personal para hacer frente. Nuestra comida llegó a las 12. 30 y hacía frío, las seis comidas eran calientes o frías. Tardó un poco en llamar la atención de nuestras camareras y se disculpó y dijo que buscaría al gerente. Diez minutos más tarde, el gerente llegó y, una vez más, se disculpó y ordenó comidas de reemplazo para algunos del grupo que otros habían empezado a comer, ya que tenían mucha hambre y no podían esperar. Las comidas de reemplazo llegaron y estaban muy calientes, pero la comida se dividió en dos sesiones en lugar de comer juntas. He estado aquí un par de veces en los últimos dos meses, reservando una mesa cada vez. En dos ocasiones tuvimos que pararnos y esperar nuestra mesa porque no estaba lista (aunque llegamos en el momento de la reserva). Literalmente no hay espacio para esperar, así que seguimos siendo empujados y empujados por la gente que entraba / los camareros / la gente que quería pasar. Went in for coffee after school drop-off. Just wanted a cappuccino but ended up being tempted by the scrambled eggs. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Sat by the window watching Putney High Street go by and coping with the first cold snap of winter.

Compartimos entrantes y pudines y pedimos una combinación de diferentes platos principales: costillas, pastel de pescado, pollo al curry verde y pollo / plato de champiñones. We had a most enjoyable dinner. The food was superb and at present there is a promotion with a free bottle of wine with two mains. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere quite relaxing. Great place for couples, parties of 4 or 6 and larger gatherings.

Two of my friends and I went here for lunch yesterday! No reservation, but seated immediately and welcomed by all staff. Everyone said hello as we walked through to the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very warming and cosy. The food was really homely and nice and the service was exceptional! Best Bill’s restaurant I’ve been to!

Having eaten out only a few times in England - for us poor South Africans with our useless Rand - eating out is just too expensive. However, I decided to try a couple of places in Putney for breakfast. One of those places was Bills Restaurant in Putney High Street. Was really looking forward to a real coffee (theirs was not too bad) and a decent scrambled eggs on toast - it's my way of judging a standard. I must tell you, South African coffee shops and restaurants can really teach the UK equivalents a thing or two! Bills was pretty OK - the meal was a bit small though - this after the waitress said it would fill me up...... NOT. It was tasty though and the coffee was OK so overall, Bills gets a good rating from me.

Frühstück ist sehr lecker, Bedienung freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kann ich empfehlen, bestimmt auch zu anderen Mahlzeiten.

Yesterday was about my fourth visit to Bill's. We met at lunchtime at 12.45, ate the very reasonably priced set lunch, and didn't leave until 4pm. No one hurried us, everyone was welcoming and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Been here so many times because I love the ambience and could sit here for hours chatting away...and still, the food is never quite there! It’s often average-to-good but something is usually lacking. Great restaurant for kids/families and good stand-by if you want a familiar place where you know exactly what you’re going to get.

We just got married in the town hall and we had our wedding lunch with 2 friends on the 7th of june, we were served by Tessa and she was really great and funny, took good pictures.

Mi bebida gin probado como si no en Ginebra - la primera 1 / 3 de lo que asumí el gin era quizás que se establecen en la parte inferior de la copa, pero no un toque de ginebra. De mi amigo,Aperol no parecía que ella, Prosecco sólo comentó que era un poco amargo, pero cuando me sabía que 3 / 4 de la copa, no, ni una pizca de FSM. Yo no quería perturbar su pesar, así que no llamar a la camarera que decir así. Pero nuestro principal comidas llegamos. Mi comida había unos trozos de pollo cuatro diminutas, cada una del tamaño de un McNugget. Su comida era tibia/fría. Ella decidió enviarlo y amablemente envió una comida caliente. Nos dieron la factura y aunque me devolvieron su comida, el total real era 24 libras cada uno, cada bebida (gratis) y otros dos los pudines. ¿Cómo se puede justificar que la suma total? ! Voy a "votar con los pies", es una pena como la camarera era precioso, pero recuerda, yo no quería que mi amigo para sentir la noche era un desperdicio ya que ella es todavía un poco mal así que dije a cero. Siempre van a Wimbledon ahora aunque es más lejos tanto para nosotros.

No sabíamos nada sobre el restaurante de bill hasta que fuimos allí para comer con nuestros hijos de 2 y 3 años. El personal era amable y acogedor, el ambiente era relajante, la comida se servía un buen ritmo. Esto nos hizo querer volver para nuestra última comida en Londres antes de volver a casa a Derbyshire y no nos decepcionó con nuestra decisión. Popped in for brunch while staying locally for the weekend. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Coffee is excellent! Between us we had one eggs Royale, two smashed avocado on toast with poached egg and a full English. All meals were piping hot when delivered to the table. I'd be happy to pop back next time we visit family in Putney.

Nothing out of the ordinary. I had a burger which was pretty good. They add an optional service charge to your bill. Obviously you don't have to pay this in full if you pay cash, but when paying by card it automatically adds it on.

There is a good place to have a brunch, lunch or dinner... even just for a couple drinks. Friendly staff and sometimes they change the menu!

My wife and I went to Bills's in Putney for a mid-morning Christmas Eve breakfast. I ordered the Bill's breakfast and my wife had the pancakes both with espresso coffees.

Stopped here with my husband following his day out at the rugby. Decor and menu are standard Bill's so no surprises. The food was great. I had the ribs which was tender and my husband had the flat iron steak which he was also pleased with.

Llegó aquí para un desayuno de domingo por la mañana. Rápidamente nos recibió y sentado. Pedí un menú Sin Gluten y había un montón de opciones sin gluten, que estaba muy bien! Mi pareja fuimos para un desayuno caliente y tuve huevos royale, que eran absolutamente delicioso. El personal era amable y había un ambiente muy agradable.

Fuimos aquí para el almuerzo de ayer y todo estaba "bien". Teníamos el menú fijo, dos campos en £11. 95. Tuve carne kofta, este fue bueno, pero pudo haber sido punzantes, el acompañamiento pedido tzatziki era buena. Mi esposa tenía las gambas ajo - una opción mucho mejor. La hamburguesa el bacalao, de nuevo no está mal, pero cocidas y un poco seco, la mermelada de cebolla con una extraña elección fue o salsa tártara mayonesa, hubiera sido mejor.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro almuerzo. Teníamos pasteles de cangrejo que eran excelentes y algunos refrescos. Servicio eficiente y amable. Buena ubicación frente a la estación. Era tan agradable que reservamos una mesa de 12 en noviembre!

Los martes por la noche. . . . encontrarse con mi amigo. Elegimos para tener una buena cena. . Pero fue una gran decepción. La comida era buena, como siempre, excepto que el plato principal mis amigos se sirve en un plato roto. Lo mencionamos a camarero, pero que no le importaba. El servicio era muy pobre, nuestro servidor no cuidarnos y él era muy gruñón. Al final quería un postre lo he ordenado pero nunca llegó. Intentamos coger nuestro servidor para hacer una queja o simplemente para pedir la factura, pero era imposible ya que era divertirse con sus colegas. En general, lo que se puede decir que las facturas tiene bebidas agradable, comida pero muy mal servicio.

Primera visita de Bill la semana pasada y sin duda volveremos muy pronto. La comida era increíble (Con Gluten) y volveré este fin de semana para probar el famoso desayuno! Un grito enorme a nuestro camarero Simon que era de primera categoría.

Buena ubicación y excelente para comer algo si han hecho planes muy tarde porque siempre se puede conseguir una mesa sin embargo no es la mejor cadena. Hay un montón de asientos en la parte trasera y conseguir olvidado por el personal - también muy oscura. Así que si mesa mal accoustics próxima son ruidosas realmente hace eco. Intenta conseguir una mesa enfrente si puede! También me pareció bueno era bastante soso.

Bill's en Putney es un tremendo lugar. Me traslado para café yo, y aunque la cerveza es rica, profunda y auténtica, como yo, es el personal que proporciona el mejor placer.

La comida es bastante normal, pero las porciones son pequeñas (no es a menudo que yo puedo manejar una entrada, plato principal y postre, pero + lado puedo aquí! En realidad) y es bastante caro para lo que es.

Bill's is one of the few places left around Putney High Street that actually has a full lmenu that doesn't just consist of burgers and pizza. Excellent food and friendly, efficient service. Highly recommended.

Although a chain bills has nice, local feel with staff friendly and efficient. Good breakfast menu - I had avocado and poached eggs that I thoroughly enjoyed. Only criticism was avocado could have been diced smaller of crushed with a bit of seasoning. Otherwise very good as was coffee

Siamo andati con il mio ragazzo in un ristorante vicino al nostro albergo di nome Bills in Putney. Il mangiare molto buono tipico inglese quello che volevamo noi! Ate the main Bill's breakfast, perfect start to the morning. Very well presented, adequate portions and more importantly tasty with quality ingredients. Good service with polite and attentive staff. Nice to sit at the front window with the spring sunshine coming through. Recommended visit. Breakfast was about £8, a 12% service charge is added on which I'm not a great fan of, other than that all was well.

Went to Bills Putney with friends for some leaving drinks and was amazed about the amazingly attentive service, especially that given by the tall and rather charming Italian manager working that night (I think he mentioned his name was Chris?). He ran around commandingly ensuring every table had the best time possible, and has me wanting to come back to Bills again and again, even I maybe just to be served by him ;)

Bill's outlets are in just about every postcode in London, offering reasonable space and therefore a good chance of a table whether reserved or not; and large enough menu to have something to suit everyone. Thus 'convenient' rather than 'special' is the word that springs to mind. However, I must admit that time and time again even my moderate expectations of Bill's are barely realised. The serving guys and girls are generally trendy, friendly and helpful, to varying degrees of efficiency, and the faux rustic style is bearable for an hour or so. But our most recent visit, to the Putney branch, exemplified the problem: dishes sound better than they are, in reality offering tired flavours, mediocre cuts of meat and stacks of carbs substituting for imagination. Out of five of us dining, nobody had anything enthusiastic to say about their meal. I think that'll be our last time of giving Bill's the benefit of the doubt. If you're desperate, it's handy and far posher (and pricier) than McDonald's. However, why not cast your net just a little more widely? In SW15 at least you'll find a host of brilliant independent eateries, each offering good food and value, allied to distinctive character and ambience instead of humdrum uniformity. I know which I prefer...

We had no booking and had come straight from a restaurant around the corner (El Patron) that had treated us so badly before ordering that we upped and left. Tom the waiter at Bills, gave us great service from start to finish and we stayed there until close drinking cocktails. Really tasty food, reasonably priced and I'm happy to recommend!

My first visit to Bills, I tried the Special Lamb Burger with Feta Cheese. The staff were friendly and cheerful. I believe I was served by Petra who was lovely and smiley. Made for a lovely evening.

Me the the partner have been a few times. More out of convenience. Food is pretty good with a large menu covering most diets. Staff seems to be constantly tired looking and a few on the grumpy side. Coffee in there is excellent and is a good place for breakfast/brunch. So yes I would recommend.

Qualità del cibo ottima accompagnata da un personale veramente gentile e professionale. Vincenzo Ricci, ha saputo consigliarci il meglio del menù, davvero una persona squisita. Da ritornarci!

Bill's on Putney High Street is decorated in fake shabby chic style. It's quite a nice environment, but plainly contrived, much like the menu. This offers a selection of British 'staples' at pretty inflated prices. The choice is very reminiscent of old fashioned school dinners, proper British comfort food, unremarkable although, luckily, better presented... I chose the fish pie, which was perfectly satisfactory, if a bit small in size, but at nearly £13, it's seriously poor value for money. The other dishes (we were a large party) all looked well presented, but all were smallish in size and ranged from £12 to £14. Great for lunch, but disappointing for an evening meal, I'd imagine. Service was adequate, rather than good. Next time I'll just get a ready meal from a supermarket - ticks the same box at a fraction of the cost.

Ottimo ristrorante! Si mangia bene, personale cortese (siamo stati serviti dal cameriere Vincenzo, un tipo davvero gradevole e simpatico) se state nelle vicinanze vi consiglio di andare.

My second time visiting this restaurant. This first time I didn't enjoy the meal I selected but decided to give it another go and that was an error. My partner and I had the Chicken Liver Pate to start and Steak/shepherds pie for mains. Following the starter we felt ok and during the main course we both started to feel unwell. As soon as we left we were both violently sick! Not the best restaurant and bitterly disappointed. Avoid!

I go quite often so it's doing something right however I only go when everything else is booked. I just find the whole concept clinical. Just become another chain restaurant with ok food. Nothing that is spectacular or bad about this place. There are better local independent restaurants. However if you are not sure you can't go wrong with bills.

Già solo le foto parlano da sole. Le pietanze sono buonissime, ricche e variegate. Simpatia, cortesia e gentilezza del personale completano il quadretto. Londra è bella e con questo locale lo è ancora di più! Andateci!!!!

Uno splendido ristorante. Curati tutti i particolari più importanti: dall'accoglienza calorosa al cibo.Il posto giusto se passate da quelle parti.Pensateci!!
