Excellent venue for a team lunch

We had a lovely lunch today. Thanks for the delicious food and excellent service!

We went when they were clearly understaffed. Ended up with cold starters which they did redo and bring back but they were still lukewarm - we'd waited over an hour at this point so didn't want to wait again! We were comped 3 drinks for our trouble, at a table of 7 which was laughable. Wouldn't come back.

Unexpected the food to be so delicious! Every day it got discount for different food, today is Steak Friday, the steak is £12.75 only, a very attractive price! Its delicious-ness didn’t drop coz of the discount, it’s so yummy! Both steak and chips are yummy, definitely wanna visit again for another meal!

Like others mentioned already,rude and lazy service.

Excellent Sunday Roast, with a lovely Cotes du Rhone. The service was sadly slow and a little inattentive, but the friendly staff were proactively apologetic, which was greatly appreciated.

I come here all the time; the food is excellent, the staff are super friendly, and the overall vibe is fantastic. I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

A nice place near the station offering European-style outside seating and a very pleasant atmosphere overall. Only visited for drinks so can’t comment on the food but it is quite pricey with service charge included at the end - a little annoying if you are just in for drinks, especially if ordering at the bar.

Only there for a lunch, the BLT was the best we had had anywhere with perfectly cooked tasty chicken, homemade chips and salad. I had a good avocado on toast. A cuppa and an excellent locally brewed Kombucha all for £30 including tip. Sat outside which was very pleasant. Service ok.

I chose to live in this part of London because of this pub and the indian place uphill. The food is just... *Smacks lips*

Went there last Friday with family and friends. Didn’t book and got a great table outside. Service was excellent and food also very well priced and good quality. Looking forward to returning.

Great location, nice atmosphere especially as it’s a low traffic zone. Had the salmon, that was great but personally not a fan of creamy rice. Would go again. Well priced.

Great place to eat close to Wandsworth Town station. I can recommend the ribs which were enormous and had loads of meat on them. The fish and chips were also excellent.

Good place for a coffee or late breakfast and the set lunches are tasty and really good value.. I like sitting out front with a coffee.

Food: steak was ordered medium and delivered well done. As a result, it was difficult to chew. Atmosphere: nice restaurant with retro ambiance, enjoyable Service: fair, when we arrived the lady said that all tables were fully booked and gave us a small table in a corner which it was uncomfortable. There were another 10 tables empty without any reserved sign on them. The waitress brought us the bill without us requesting it yet and while we were still having our drinks and asked us to pay right away. Only 2 other tables were occupied by that time and there were so many other tables empty. Bit unprofessional and spoiled our moment.

I didn’t get as far as food as the very hassled waitress forgot my order, after telling me they didn’t have cakes they have desserts. Well they certainly didn’t have manners.

It's hard not to have hummus and having it here with lovely potatoes was brilliant, would highly recommend that you give it a go.

Five of us had an evening meal here last week and were rather disappointed with the service. It felt rushed, although the restaurant wasn't that busy, and despite asking several times for some tap water, it never came. After paying the bill, we were asked to pay the "optional" service charge which had been added on. Looking at previous reviews, maybe the service is better at breakfast and lunch time, but we are unlikely to be having an evening meal here again.

I had the tempura prawn burger which was lovely. Good value for money

Great pub in Wandsworth. The sandwich is very good. And the homemade lemonade tastes very fruity and fresh.

Great lunch options, sandwich and chips, especially clubs is really good value for money at £7.95. Avocado on toast is slightly expensive compared to the above. Nachos are amazing and really baked tortilla nachos with a good amount of sauce - not just crisps. Wouldn’t recommend the chorizo after being burnt. Homemade lemonades are great.

What an offer, the friday steak price is such a bargain. The atmosphere was nice and chilled inside everyone seems to look comfortable and happy to be there .

Seems to have gone abit down hill! Used to be my favourite place in Wandsworth town. Food was good but the service isn’t as good as it used to be!

Stopped off for something to eat after visiting TLS for French Visa. Their Monday/Tuesday lunch offer was really good value.

Wonderful place for breakfast. We were only alotted an hour time slot, i guess we were in just before a rush. Understandable.

Delicious food, particularly the huevos rancheros! It's just unfortunate that they are absolutely useless when attempting to order via Uber Eats - they have cancelled my last three orders in the last two months for some unknown reason!

Best place to stay outside in a rainy day. I ordered a coffee and the waiter was super helpful and nice. It was early so nothing much as deserts or bakery. But I like the coffee and the cosy sitting.

Served quickly by nice people, happy to have come here. The food was delicious, I had the asian bowl and my partner had the veggie breakfast, both were wonderful. The toast, egg and veggie sausages were especially nice.

Not sure if it was because I was solo but I have been here before and was treated much better. I had my food ceremoniously dumped on my table. I actually thought “What did I do ?” I felt like an inconvenience that’s for damn sure. I know you think I should be giving a lower rating but the food was passable (or was that because I was so hungry !) Apart from the soggy bun the chorizo burger was actually nice. I love the music, the decor but on this occasion I hope I never need a French Visa again or feel the need to come back!!!

Quick takeaway and amazing service. One of the best prawns and squid dishes ive had in a while. Super affordable super rich in taste and a well presented beautiful restaurant with amazing staff. Thank you Konningans.

Customer service can be luck of the draw, but otherwise food is generally nice.

I want to prefix this with saying that I have visited this establishment with friends multiple times and never experienced any issues with the service mentioned by other reviewers. This morning however was different. When a friend and I requested a table for 2 we were curtly asked by a heavyset brunette woman had we booked despite the venue being almost empty. Never happened before. Begrudgingly we were sat in the corner right in front of the window away from the one other customer in the cafe and promptly ignored. Customer after customer walked in and none were asked if they had booked but seated right away and some were even offered a tour of the very beautiful back, receiving an engagement and welcome noticeably absent from our interaction. Food came, but there was never any inquiry as to our experience and we had to approach the waitresses to grab the bill. We walked out to silence, reassuring me we had made the right decision to take the service charge off. It's a shame that on the day we appeared not to be the right type of customer. It was made visibly clear that we weren't welcome here and not a priority, laughable with it being Wandsworth not Hampstead where the service is top notch. It really is a great place, that serves great food but there appears to be a gatekeeping bourne of insecurity that only means it's shooting itself in the foot long term. I doubt this review will change anything or prompt reflection or further thought, but I will not come back here again, or bring any more friends. Instead I will explore other options in the area and support local businesses who want to meaningfully engage with their community no matter who they are. If you're on the fence on whether to go I would suggest somewhere else. Sayonara

Generally good food and a very pleasant, convenient location. I will say the service is often slow (but always polite and given with a smile). Think they just need to hire more. Edit: The restaurant appear unable to operate with Uber eats or Just eat. On many occasions, the staff simply forget to turn on the tablets so orders just hold in limbo until you physically call them to remind them to turn on the respective tablet. - I'm guessing they pay some sort of service fee to both delivery companies - seems like a waste of money.

I went to order and collect a Take Away and they still charged me for the service or optional tip of 5.22 Pounds without asking me in addition to another 5.95 Pounds that they call it "Wet" in total 10 Pounds more and I still don't know what that is. The food is worthless and very expensive.

I was down in London on business and cane across the place as I was travelling and was running out of place to go as o have been down for the last 2 weeks. I did a mistake in my order the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place a very re elated and friendly atmosphere. I wa Sevier by Magda and Lewis a credit to the place

Nice atmosphere, a bit slow service, food a bit too oily for my taste, but generally we had a good dinner with friends due to lovely atmosphere and good music.

We were very excited to treat ourselves to a Sunday breakfast but we didn’t end up having a good experience. The staff attitude didn’t feel helpful. More proactive management is needed.

They can be hit and miss on breakfasts but this time it was very good. I’m a bit of a stickler for good eggs and I’m so glad they have started using the deep orange yolk eggs again. After the tasteless yellow ones. I had eggs Benedict and although quite a small portion it was delicious. They could do with using a better coffee supplier as it’s quite basic

Used to love this place. The female manager is nasty and rude. After coming here for over 20 years - we won’t be back. Their loss.

Good food, however this place offer discounts which later on are ot not added to your bill or wrongly calculated. Tonight (7th Sept 2023) was neighbour discount of 20%, but first of all waitress did not want to add to my bill and then gave me just 10%. Disappointed level max. Not recommended 😕

Went here for breakfast and was disappointed by the low quality of the food. Everything is premade and in my opinion not worth the money. You get better quality for similar prices at the cafés next door

Love the atmosphere here, feels really cosy & has nice decor. Always enjoyed the cocktails too. The food is mixed though, and the service suffers when they're busy (they needed probably another 2 people working last time I was there to cover all the tables)

I had some time to kill so sat outside for a brunch and pot of tea. The eggs Benedict was lovely and tea was just right, service was great. All in all, hard to fault. Great to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by. Recommended.

Great little bar restaurant in Wandsworth Town High Street. I had the burger which was great my wife had the crab and and avocado which was also great. Good service and reasonably priced.

We were staying in Wandsworth Town in June/July 2023 and visited Konnigans for drinks/dinner on two occasions. The food is good (and good value on Monday/Tuesday with the specials). It's a lovely spot to watch the world go by. Next time we stay in Wandsworth we will be back.

Great service and nice food. The restaurant has a diverse menu offering something for everyone. The fajitas are a crowd favourite, but I ordered the sirloin steak and was pleasantly surprised as my expectations were low considering the menu did declare that it was minute steak. The steak was tasty and well cooked. The chips well seasoned and fresh.

We arrived just as the kitchen was closing but they took pity on us and let us order. Really friendly service and really, really tasty food!

Nice place but food was just adequate. Our group of 5 had sunday roast here but it was quite dry and the meat was not particular flavourful for either the pork or the beef. They do offer free top ups of Yorkshire puddings which is a nice touch.

Have been coming here for many years because of good food and community vibe, but recently service has rapidly declined. Very rude and abrupt staff, long waits, no smiles, all excuses.

My son and I had lunch here and the food was well prepared and staff were attentive and friendly. We were rather in a hurry on our way to another job so didn't stay long. It's got a good relaxed atmosphere and a wide selection of dishes, wines and other beers. Highly recommended.
