Caffe Nero in Wandsworth

The coffee is tasteful and the staff is nice. They should put code to the loo, and not keys, as it's annoying to ask staff for it.

God awful place. Terrible service from people who shouldn’t be anywhere near a customer service role and this frothy dishwater, that was supposed to be a flat white, cost me nearly 4 quid! Avoid like the plague.

A regular customer of this busy store just opposite Southfields station. Great staff, friendly approach, super coffee, comfortable seating with little nooks and crannies. Outside seating also, when the weather permits. Even with demanding customers (and there are some real belters), the staff keep their cool.

Flat white price shows 3.90 on the display but they charge 4.10. When asked the assistant she said its the new price but this is happening for the last couple of months. Please fix your prices. My son needed the toilet but had to wait till home as toilets were dirty and no toilet paper.

I was charged £4.30 for a flat white. Like seriously that’s nearly £5 for a cup of coffee. It was coco milk and decaffeinated but the fact there’s additional charges for everything is ridiculous. It’s not the staffs fault in anyway they were kind. It’s the company. The fact they charge this much is ridiculous. Last time I’ll be visiting I’m afraid. Nero coffee isn’t all that either. Lots of shops around the area that nowhere near charges this much. So disappointed and dissatisfied.

Made a quick stop at this Nero after arriving at Southfield Station. Pretty nice interior and relatively friendly staff. A good place to grab something to drink and rest a little.

Excellent staff excellent atmosphere here as soon as you walk in. Love the coffee and food BUT the last three times I've come here I've been unable to get a table due to students and office workers sitting in here with their lap tops for hours at a time and some of them with no drinks or food in fact their own drinks! Please can something be done. We can't lose another cafe!!

Congratulations to the Caffe Nero ops team. Only 3 batistas on a Sunday morning during Wimbledon Championships. 25 minutes to order a Latte.... and a long queue. Loads of people left the queue as well. Not sure what to say about staff, they were quite slow, not really friendly....but I guess they where just (rightfully!!!) Giving up.

First and last visit ever. Two staff working man making drinks and female trainee barista who looked as miserable as sin. She asked what we wanted no expression on her miserable face whats so ever and didn’t even acknowledge what we’d ordered. The man looked at us when the previous people left and we had to go through our order again. She just stood there absolutely waste of time speaking to her. Why has she been employed l ask myself. There was absolutely no customer service whatsoever. My advice would be to get rid of her and employ someone who’s a bit happier in there work and smiles. Man was fine but it must be depressing working with someone who is so miserable all day. Drinks ok but not the best rushed making them. Not worth the price.

Tempted by new flavour salted caramel and pistachio I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it was really bad. Watery, lots of crushed ice which blocked straw all the time (super annoying), flavorless . Gonna stick with costas salted caramel - bast one yet

Love Nero coffee but lately with all the staff changes, no one seems to get a coffee order right. Third time I’ve asked for oat milk and ended up with dairy. Don’t waste your time coming here if you have a preference. Chances are you’ll pay £4 for a coffee you can’t even drink. Nero management, things need to change.

It's a lovely shop with loads of light coming from the big windows and a nice rustic decor. As for the coffee, I used to not like Nero's coffee, but the baristas here are very good and it's now one of my favourite places.

The cherry iced late doesn't look anything like in the picture! Plus, the lights above the counter are full of dirt

I recently visited Caffe Nero in Southfield and was impressed with my experience. The atmosphere is pleasant and would be a great place to work. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and comfortable. To top it off, the muffin I ordered was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with my coffee. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by Caffe Nero in Southfield for a great cup of coffee and some tasty treats.

I like coming here for coffee, nice inside, they even have a selection of books in the corner to read. Tends to be busy when I go though so can be hard to find a seat.

Very bad hygiene, cafe is filthy… dirty tables, sticky seats etc. Not exactly a nice environment to sit down for a coffee.

They purport to prepare and sell coffee. Being a tourist I believe in trying everything once. Once was enough.

To the barista who made hot chocolate this morning 🤩, the two staff this morning were amazing. I had a three mobile reward I ordered large they must have miss heard it. Definitely not the end of the world I enjoyed the hot chocolate they made, but you two were amazing keep up your good work you are going places soon. Cafe Nero don’t lose these gems they got rid of the queue very fast 👌🏽👌🏽

Not enough staff and cafe was very dirty and not maintained at all. It is usually better but not consistent. Some of the longer standing staff are very lovely and friendly.

What was going on with the service this morning?! The staff in here are usually extremely friendly and know your order if you are a regular. Today I was met by sullen and unfriendly service. Everything was an effort for the young woman that served me. Let's hope the usual staff return soon.

Since Costa closed nexdoor we go here more often as a famillly. Coffee is not great and servers are robots. You tell them 3 times you want a warm latte and you still get a boiling hot one. Not to many options in the area though 😒

Seemed a bit chaotic. Way orders taken/paid. Space at a premium. Hopefully for Championships it can deal with loads.

Been here a few times. Most times was ignored by the staff at the till. This café is in desperate need of a makeover- it looks so dated inside.

¡Primera y última visita! ! ! Ayer fui a tomar un poco de pastel y café con mi bebé, hice el pedido y pagué y cuando recibí mi pedido vi que no había turnos disponibles. Luego tuve que esperar en la entrada en la mesa de la silla alta durante 10 minutos para que la mesa estuviera disponible. Durante este tiempo entraron 2 señoras y un niño y ordenaron también (me vieron en la entrada mirando y esperando una mesa, especialmente con un bebé) De todos modos, después de unos minutos, una señora se fue, así que me dirigía a la mesa cuando su empleado les dijo que había una mesa disponible - LOL Le hice una gran señal y les dije a todos que lo siento, ya estaba esperando la mesa para se libre ¿Crees que les importaba? Una de las señoras se precipitó bruscamente a la mesa dejándonos a mí y a mi bebé en la entrada y el empleado ni siquiera dijo nada. Luego esperé unos minutos más y, por suerte para mí, una linda pareja me vio y estaba a punto de irse y me ofreció el asiento de la ventana de la esquina. Luego fui a sentarme y pocos segundos después de que el otro asiento de la ventana estuviera disponible también y las 2 mujeres y el niño se apresuraron de nuevo (¿cuál es el punto de tomar mi mesa y luego primero para finalmente moverse nuevamente?) De todos modos, el punto es que después de todo me di cuenta de que estas 2 mujeres eran las amigas de los empleados, ya que ni siquiera pagaron por nada y además de eso durante este tiempo de COVID no se tomaron medidas higiénicas. El niño (Jasper, su nombre, escuché que el empleado lo llamaba) estaba literalmente con ella detrás del mostrador haciendo bebidas, etc. Que broma ! ! ! ! ¿Dónde está la higiene aquí? Estuvo con ella unos buenos 5/10 minutos detrás del mostrador, como si fuera normal tener un niño de 7/8 años jugando a hacer bebidas, etc. . . Estaba tan sorprendido por toda la situación No obtuve el nombre de la empleada porque fue muy grosera (ni siquiera dijo nada, solo "¿qué quieres?" Para tomar un pedido ...) Solo puedo decir que tiene el cabello lavado de color rosa / púrpura En serio, la persona menos PROFESIONAL de todos los tiempos, dejando que sus amigos sean la prioridad a pesar de que estaba esperando antes que ellos, etc. . . Nunca jamás volveré ¿Cuál es el punto de poner un gran letrero detrás del mostrador sobre las reglas de Covid, etc., cuando obviamente ella ni siquiera las respeta? Lovely place with amazing view towards Southfields station. Coffee and pastries are always good and the atmosphere is cozy. During the weekend becomes a bit packed and some people are using the sitting area like their own home corner, almost impossible to find a seat. I hope the staff will do something about it , please?!

I come to this Nero often as it is close to my place. Although not an outstanding place, it has a nice and relaxing atmosphere and the food/drinks are good for what they are. The service at the counter is usually attentive and friendly. It is a small shop and since many locals tend to use it as a study/work place it can be hard to find a place to sit during the busiest times and you should expect a lot of background noise. On a few busy occasions I have also found that the staff does not have much time to do the cleaning rounds so it's not uncommon to find people's leftovers on the tables when you walk in.

I personally consider Nero's coffee inferior to other chains such as Starbucks or Costa, however this particular coffee shop receives 5 stars because of it's location, friendly staff, relaxing ambience, and well lit environment (with natural light) which all makes for a great atmosphere. All this provides a great place to relax, read, see someone, or do some work while enjoying a cup of meh coffee. :) The only downside that I can think of is that it closes quite early (around 7).

Just left Nero after having my second mediocre latte since yesterday. I also failed to connect to the internet due to their complicated requirements ( you have to create an account with all unnecessary details like phone number, house number..etc). Even after you finish all of this you have no access! I am now enjoying my latte at the nearby Starbucks after connecting to the internet in less than a minute!

It's a shame... This morning (2019 May 07th) I went to the toilet here and found on washing up liquid/soap to wash my hands. I then went to the counter and asked them... Took a minute or so in total between the two "I'm new here " staff member and what I would only presume was a manager or overseer that discussing what I'm asking for ..after that they just turned away so I said I've just used your toilet and need soap To wash my hands fairly loudly as they both turned back. The 'manager ' (still looking puzzled ) said she'd go check to which she disappeared into the room behind the counter for some moments, came out,bent down behind the counter (whilst the newbie looking at her whilst dealing with another lady and gent at the counter) onlyor the' manager' to stand up after 30 seconds and say. "No" I said you you mean you have NO soap?! How do I wash my hands? She responded "sorry " So I'm curious I had to go to another establishment To wash my hands... WHAT THE HECK DID THEY DO THE WHOLE DAY THEN whilst making drinks for us as customers?!

This is our go-to cafe when we’re staying in Southfields. Very handy for the station and near to shops and supermarkets. We visited today and were not disappointed. One cappuccino and one latte to sit-in, and a skinny latte to go. Our coffees were just the way we like them - hot! So many other coffee shops serve lukewarm coffee. Not for me. Our third coffee wasn’t made until we were ready to leave, with the barista noticing me lifting my coat and immediately asked if it was time for the coffee. Excellent service. We would certainly recommend this place.

This is my local nero but I’ll never be visiting again. The Italian manager mentioned in the other reviews is just unbelievable. Just the other week I walked in after having collected enough stamps for a free coffee and as I handed the card to him he looked at me and said “faked” out loud for no reason whatsoever. I was shocked and honestly couldn’t say anything back at the time but he makes me uncomfortable and I won't be stepping back into this shop again.

This is my first visit there & I find it to dark inside & way to small. Sorry to say the staff in this tiny cafe are feign I didn't understand them there English is terrible. I got tea ☕ to take away. I didn't want to stay there a minute longer. I won't be going there anymore far to tiny inside. Very squeezy!!

Had the worst experience ever at this cafe. The italian looking manager with tattoos (who has been mentioned in previous reviews) reduced me to tears in front of all the other customers after I told him that i'm waiting for my friend to arrive before buying a drink. He pointed to the door and tried to kick me out. When my friend arrived he quietly "apologised" from across the shop. I've seen the same manager also be very rude to his staff, barging past them and talking down to them rudely. I've lived here for 20 years and I can say for sure that I am not going back to this Nero because of this member of staff despite it being my favourite coffee spot.

Sweets cold. Cappuccino cold. Toilet unisex.

Plastic cup. Plastic lid. Paper straw? Are you kidding me? So I had to throw my overpriced milkshake away when I was only half done because I couldn’t drink it, because the straw disintegrated and clogged, but still disposing of plastic? Which genius thought this up? You literally have paper cups you could serve drinks in with a plastic straw. Less environmental impact, fully functioning. Way to jump on the stupidity bandwagon so you can FEEL more green friendly....

Very popular place in a great location just opposite the station. Don't come here often but will be for the festive hot chocolate! Friendly staff and great ambiance!
