We recently enjoyed a fantastic two-night stay at The Huntsman Inn, beautifully situated in Holmfirth. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our experience was made even better by the delicious food on offer. Both our suppers and breakfasts were scrumptious. Between us, we had the steak, burger, the full English and my favourite, the Arnold Bennett omelette. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the dishes were cooked to perfection. The owners, Katie and Sal, and their entire team were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and their genuine hospitality made our stay memorable. In addition to the wonderful food and service, we also had the pleasure of attending an event at the Inn, which was well-organised and great fun. Reservamos para el almuerzo del domingo y viajamos desde Surrey. El restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío, lo que hizo que el ambiente fuera menos ambiente. No ayudó que hubiera un miembro del personal limpiando el espejo y las patas de la mesa mientras estábamos comiendo nuestro almuerzo. El almuerzo del domingo per se estaba bien, nada impresionante.

I don’t normally recognise this, but David gave me service that was so unexpected - I said I really wanted to try a mojito - and he promised me I’d get the best, the competition wouldn’t compare - I could tell he he was being serious , and he really delivered.

Netter Pub, aber überteuertes Essen. Fish and Chips geschmacklich gut, aber etwas wässriger Fisch. Toiletten fast genauso versifft wie in anderen Pubs. Man hat das Gefühl sich nach dem Hände waschen die Hände waschen zu müssen.

Disappointed that my latte was so hot that I couldn’t take a sip for 20minutes it was made way too hot it’s coffee people not a cup of tea and also my wife is dairy intolerant and apparently there was no options for her today I might add this is not typical of Costa coffee in general Must try harder Brixham Costa

Don’t know if it is because they were busy but staff had could not care less attitude. Not an excuse! Service poor, asked for sauce and was told to wait, 7 minutes later asked again, then when they brought it was put on the table with a bang. Smell of damp and toilets. The only friendly person was the barman.

Came here for a birthday meal. Food was full of flavour and reasonably priced. Will be eating here again

A really nice bar with two for one on a large selection of cocktails on Thursday which worked out to around £10 for two cocktails. There is also a nice outdoor seating area and the chance to queue songs on the website.

Amazing spot for food and drink, was served by Becca who was so happy and was so informative and we ended up with the fish and chips! Guinness was so crisp and my gf drinks looked cool.

Really delicious food, great service. I had the garden pot medley with chicken - really fresh and tasty, thoroughly enjoyed it. Spot on

I booked for 32 people and nobody was ever left without a drink! We went for a hen do and everyone said how much they enjoyed it and that they would come back. We all agreed it was brilliant value for money. The staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Cooked potato scone deep fryer burnt sausage overcooked.... But worst part just before I got my rolls I noticed and said to cook mouldy baggettes

Horrible service, you go to get proper coffee and they tell you sorry I can't remake it because of wastage. The worse thing is the manager that should be handling situation like this but not only to be told no we can't make you another drink. That's insane the service they provide and prices you have pay.

Weekday visit for food with family was very disappointing. No heating on, waited ages to get food which wasn’t good considering we were the only table eating. Beetroot tart was a very poor standard and did not fit description on the menu, chicken & veg was overcooked with a measly portion of potato, burnt burger & overcooked fish & chips, only positive my daughter could have a choice of gluten free options & the waitress that served us was very pleasant. Such a shame as quaint surroundings, won’t be rushing back.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The service we received was utterly shocking. The assistant rudely marched my party and I off a free table - despite it being empty. We asked for a takeaway, and we were told the wait wouldn’t be worth it - this was from a member of staff?! They clearly don’t care about making any money, and their products are sub-par. You’re better off heading to Pret to avoid their horrendous service.
