The Purple Peacock in Newcastle upon Tyne

Attended drunch with my friends! Can honestly say it was the best bottomless brunch i have ever been to. Atmosphere was electric from walking through the doors. You have to pre order food, which isn't something I normally like doing, how are you meant to predict what you're gonna fancy in a fortnight's time? However, food was delish and helped with service which was very efficient. Drinks, although not the lengthiest cocktail menu, all were lovely and there was plenty of choice of beers and spirits. Our server made sure we always had a drink. The entertainment!!!! Wow!!!! We went to the nineties drunch, first on the stage were the spice Girls. And when shania twain came on with the "let's go girls" well the place went crazy. You can tell the preformers put their heart and soul into their preformance. We had the best day!! Toilets well there's only 2 in the ladies so not ideal. Loads and loads of security, which helps keep peace of mind that you're safe, however a few did tend to stand in front of our table so we couldn't see. Will definitely be booking again, we had bar seats but will be paying the tiny extra to get a stage seat next time!

I booked for 32 people and nobody was ever left without a drink! We went for a hen do and everyone said how much they enjoyed it and that they would come back. We all agreed it was brilliant value for money. The staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Okay, so I went to Purple Peacock in Newcastle, right? And honestly? Wow. Just...wow. It's like stepping into a glitter bomb exploded, but in the best way possible. The shows? Seriously, those performers are on another level! I was glued to my seat the whole time. Think sparkly costumes, killer dance moves, and just pure, unadulterated energy. The drinks were lush, and the staff were actually really nice, like, genuinely wanted you to have a good time. It's not just a bar, it’s a whole vibe. You know when you go somewhere and you just feel like you're in a movie? That's Purple Peacock. If you want a night out that's actually exciting and not just another boring pub trip, you NEED to go here. Seriously, I'm already trying to convince my mates to go back with me. 10/10, would recommend (and probably will, to everyone I know!). 🔥

We booked the st Patrick's day bottomless brunch. Its not the cheapest brunch so we were expecting big things, it was supposed to start at 5;30 and we didn't get seated until 5;40. The cocktails do taste good but they are quite small glasses and there were periods where we sat for quite a while with empty glasses. The food was okay, I got the chicken which was really nice and the sauce was lovely but the new potatoes were really hard. And then when we got the bill they added a £15 service charge on between 3 of us, I did ask them to take it off. Which I'm glad I did because right after we paid the bill the waiter spilled a full glass of cocktail all over me. Also it wasn't supposed to finish until half 7 but you weren't allowed another drink after 7pm and they turned the lights on at 20 past for people to leave. The entertainment was really good and the atmosphere was good but not sure I'd book it again

Bottomless Brunch - with missing drinks, cold food, no cutlery, late food, and drinks pre-made on the table. As we turned up the drinks were on the table, this led to a confusion of who's drink was who's? we even had to ask because there were non-alcoholic drinks there, as requested. Food wasn't particularly hot and some was cold. Sent it back to the kitchen expecting to have a new one, the plate didn't turn back up again until everyone else finished their food. Due to everyone else being finished before the plate arrived the servers removed the cutlery, common sense would suggest you leave cutlery for the late plate arriving - nope. The plate eventually arrived and no cutlery, after asking a waiter for cutlery ....20 minutes it took, 20 minutes to get some cutlery by which point the food (fish) was cold again. Didn't eat it. When food did turn up for some of the party there was food missing (onion rings), they arrived at the end. Someone else also ordered fish and veg and only the fish turned up. Alcohol/drinks - peacock appears to struggle with anything that isn't a bottle. Bottles came out quick 1 after the other, but anything other than that didn't turn up. * I do not recommend you go to Purple Peacock, and we will be pushing this across the social media.

Had a fantastic evening filled with live entertainment and bottomless drinks! The atmosphere was lively, with great music throughout the night. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and adding to the overall experience. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and definitely exceeded our expectations. The combination of great service, entertainment, and fab food made it a truly enjoyable night. Whether you're there for the music, the drinks, or the atmosphere, this place really delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend for a fun and vibrant evening out! This was a great way to celebrate my 30th birthday! A perfect Newcastle experience! The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do more for us! We’ll definitely be back!

Starting from booking the whole experience was not great . I booked for my 40th birthday using website and paid deposit too. Few days later I received email saying that they don’t t know how I booked it as the date and event were not available or did not exist ( no offer of changing date or mention of refund of deposit) I than sent email asking to book for different night and transfer my deposit .Reply came few days later ( communication is terrible ) . I than sent another email to add 2 more people - no reply for few days again . Finnaly reply came but those people I wanted to add made other plans as it took ages for reply . On the night I mentioned to the staff we are 7 people instead of 9 and they said that’s fine . Show was lovely but everything else terrible - service super slow - we were constantly going to the bar to order more drinks but we were told is table service only so we were without any drinks at time and no server to be seen . Communication is the worse I ever seen and we were charged for 9 tickets instead of 7 . I wrote email complaining about being overcharged days ago and guess what ? Still waiting for email . Am very disappointed with all above and wished I could celebrate my 40th birthday elsewhere . Nice venue , nice entertainment but what a let down on everything else ., very disappointed customer and all my friends too

Tried to book a table for 20 girls for a hen party. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Dont respond to emails, calls, nothing. No booking confirmation. No payment link to send deposits. There voicemail is now FULL, so you can’t even leave another voicemail to try contact. Such a shame. Do not waste your time or money.

The best brunch we've ever been to! The whole experience is such a vibe from drinks to entertainment! Food wasn't amazing but it didn't ruin it for us!! Highly recommend this to anyone
