If you're in Newcastle upon Tyne, Creams is a must-visit for dessert lovers. The quality of the food is outstanding, with treats like crepes, waffles, and cakes. The service is top-notch, with friendly, attentive staff who made the visit special. Highly recomended.

Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite meet my expectations. The gelato, while I was looking forward to its creamy texture, didn't quite live up to that promise. Additionally, the portion sise was small The service was also a bit slow; there was a noticeable wait for the waiter to take my order, and again when it came time to pay. My sparkling water didn't arrive with my order, and by the time I asked for it, I had already finished my gelato. I decided not to wait any longer and left without my drink. I hope this feedback can help improve future experiences. Despite this, I appreciate the variety of options Creams Cafe offers, and I hope to have a better visit next time.

Great place to relax and share an ice cream

Got a very nice ice cream and some coffee all thanks to David’s service!!! David was amazing and I felt very welcomed in this restaurant, he was kind and attentive to my table’s needs. Thank you!

Very pricey and not the best dessert bar I’ve used, gelatos are more like ice cream and it’s very pricey at £10 for a knickerbocker glory and £3 a can of soft drink, wouldn’t rush back but serves a purpose if you need a sugar rush

Great first time. Got my order from deliveroo and that packaged everything well. Waffle was great and their milkshakes too.

Great quality food let down by painfully slow service. Plenty of staff on, and they were perfectly pleasant, but order prep took far too long and then the order sat on the counter for over five minutes before being brought over. Was in the cusp of walking out.

Initially I ordered from Deliveroo and received a terrible order but after leaving a review, customer service reached out and gave a full refund as well as my favourite complimentary Oreo shake I’ve been craving since! Happy it’s been resolved! 🤩

I ordered the Rich Hot Chocolate, but don't think I need to elaborate further... False advertising much for 4.75 pounds Update: Spoke to the staff, they were very nice and gave me another one so I had two instead of 1 which is a fair compensation I would say considering the cup was half the size first time. Sat inside. Basically empty. Crepes took over > 30 minutes from ordering and were ice cold. Crepes were not fresh either. Really disappointed. Surprised given the high ratings.

Ordered a Coke Float, We were given this abomination. They slathered the coke float in so much strawberry sauce it turned it red!. ZERO mention on the menu of this. This is not a Standard Vanilla Coke float. If you are going to make items different to how it is listed on the menu you should warn customers. When We asked for it to be replaced with one with out Strawberry sauce we were refused as "This is how we make it here" but how are customers meant to know this is your own spin on making it if you dont tell them... it would not have been ordered if we had known you cant make a normal coke Float. Pancakes were cold and arrived ages before the abysmal coke float. Disappointing food and drinks made even more disappointing by obnoxious service. What should have been a lovely sweet treat turned into bitter disappointment and wasted money.

This dessert shop offers a variety of top notch desserts like cakes 🍰, cookies 🍪, puddings 🍮, ice creams 🍨🍧🍦, waffles 🧇 etc and etc. However, the prices seem very overpriced and it’s a shame

Extremely rude lady at the till, she said my order will be 20 minutes when I was ordering and it was actually 36 and when I asked about my order she shouted saying it's not been 20 minutes yet, when I asked about it, it was exactly 20 minutes and I just needed to know how long so I know when to order taxi. Then when I've been waiting 35 minutes, I saw my order was being packed, so I stood up and she rolled her eyes shouting to me saying she's packing it now!!! Wow?! That's not how I would like to be spoken to, and I believe no other human being would like to be spoken to that way...besides when ordering I was very polite to her and friendly. I was in no way being a horrible customer...(that way I'd understand her replies and accept it but this wasn't the case) Just please have some empathy and maybe a little training in how to speak to a customer for the future. Thanks

Waited over two hours for a cookie dough and a slush for them to not even turn up. Pointless the restaurant having a phone number as tried calling over 100 times for it to say user busy or someone to hang up.

Lovely place with a wide variety of desserts to choose from. Not the forget they also have some savory bites too

shocking portion sizes. ordered off uber eats, not only did it take an hour to come, when it got here the potion sizes are tiny, in store much bigger sizes and the photos on uber eats are utterly misleading. paid £30 for these 2 together and am so incredibly disappointed.

do not come here it was awful. atmosphere? awful. staff? awful. food? lukewarm pancakes. not to mention there is one menu in the whole “restaurant”. felt like i was being held at gunpoint while trying to pick what i wanted. overpriced garbage.

Staff seem nice but food way overpriced. Paid £8 for a chocolate sundae which was so bland. In future I’ll go back to Mark Toneys as their sundaes are the best.

Absolutely disgusting hygiene standards dirty dishes everywhere sticky dirty tables, they don't even bother to wipe tables down in-between customer sitting down. Service is really slow over 30 to 40 minutes to Serve 4 ice cream and 5 drinks. The drinks were more ice than drink! So much so you could not get the bubbles properly. As for staff one poor girl running around trying her best while the rest stand around talking! We came all the way from Manchester and we go everytime we go Newcastle once or twice a year never again. Absolutely disgusted!

This ice cream is extremely good, specially the Strawberry and Salt Caramel, I recommend to try it!! And the place is really good for chatting with friends, chill make your day.

I ordered a Strawberry Slushie, and a Bubble Sundae. It's a nice looking cafe, with welcoming staff. But the time between ordering, and receiving was ridiculous. I didn't realise it took over 20 minutes to make a Slushie, could have been drinking it whilst waiting for the Sundae. The food was nice, but the wait was annoying.

cookie dough arrived and was essentially 2 mouth fulls and didn't even cover the bottom of the small tupperware it arrived in for £9 and is a joke of a portion. Cookie dough was also cold.

Shame was really looking forward to trying this please was not that impressed. Place was empty but almost every table had empty plates and cups left on them. Our table was mucky and sticky. Was expecting a warm fresh waffle which was cold and tasted stale even the crepes were cold . Would not recommend at all.

Poor service. My and partners desserts brought out 10 mins apart, and less than enthusiastic staff didn't help or apologise for this. Shake and ice-cream were good but service was terrible.

I ordered 2 cookie dough deserts and 1 Mexican share nachos and 2 premium shakes, the nachos didn’t even fill half of the 10” pizza box and the cookie dough was literally 2 small cookies with shavings on top, neither looked like there pictures that advertised them, taste was good just the quantity was poor for the amount of money you pay for them

Absolutely shocking! Just ordered 2 cookie dough’s through delivery. Been waiting all week to have some cookie dough, searched online to see raving reviews about creams pictures online look fantastic…. We received our order and it’s one melted cookie in a tub, LITERALLY! Absolutely fuming, and then tried to eat it anyways and ITS NOT EVEN COOKED! Just paid £20 for 2 cookies. Absolutely gobsmacked how there is so little bad reviews I will NEVER be ordering from here again what a disappointment.

Came here for years nearly always getting chocolate fudge mess waffle, gone really down hill last few years. Still give it a chance every now and again, tables always sticky etc but brought this disappointment. Cake slice about fit for a mouse. Take a regular size slice, cut it down to a quarter, then lay it on its side and cut it in half again. Staff + management not interested in resolving. Won't be back again.

Got a cookie dough and absolutely shocking how it came in as very small portion for 9 pound! Waffle decent size though. Wouldn't be getting the cookie dough again though!

They got my order wrong, but it was still good.

we got the wrong order. some one else's food was delivered to me. and I spoke to the shop and almost 2 hours on we have not got any food and still unsure if the food will even be delivered. All they could say was speak to just eat for a refund. there is no number to contact just eat just and email. I have to wait 48 hours to find out if I will be getting a refund. £44 waited for no food and still nit sure if I will even get a refund

I visited Crems Café in the beautiful city of Newcastle Tyne Upon for the second time where the customer service, the pleasant atmosphere and the rich variety of ice creams including the delicious Waffel they prepare which is my favorite.

The cake was really nice ,but I have no idea who thought wrapping a milkshake cup in clingfilm then laying it on its side was a good idea when theres a hole in the top of the cup half the milkshake leaked out in to the clingfilm and soaked the bottom of the bag

Really nice atmosphere but big let down from their main selling point (desserts). We ordered stick toffee pudding and crepes. The sticky toffee pudding was definitely not fresh and has a very strong date flavour. Crepe was the same the batter was very chewy. Finally the utensils were not clean.

I ordered two milkshakes and they gave a very watery milkshake and the other one tastes like nothing, I asked them to do something and what’s wrong with it they refused to answer it also she said that’s how we do it!!!! I paid 12£ for nothing🤬🤬🤬

Ordered food in store at the table, however we have waited for 40 mins but nothing is served. Really poor service. It came to our attention that the store apparently prioritizes deliveroo orders over in store orders. A bad experience overall, especially considering that we missed our train because of the poor service.

Restaurant kept the driver waiting for ages, "hot" pocket was freezing cold, and the ice cream was missing.

Took an hour and ten minutes to arrive and changed delivery time 2 times by the time it got here it was not hot but still tasted alright. Delivery man was polite :)

We wanted to eat a rich and delicious dessert, and this place caught our attention. The prices are a little expensive, but it is worth it since they are very tasty, the service is fabulous and the atmosphere is pleasant.

The delivery agent was very very rude, he spoke very rudely on the phone to inform he's outside and a minute later when I got to the door, he was just banging on the door and asking why I'm late

The Apple pie was all smashed up and all ice cream had melted. The cake that was supposed to be hot wasn’t even warm. The tub of custard was tiny and nowhere near enough for the Apple pie. Will not be returning!
