Such a shame that the staff are so sullen and slow. Normally very vibrant and chatty. I wonder what has happened.

Always consistently good coffee here. Very friendly staff.

Disappointed at Costa this morning. Wet floor sign over small spillage that wasn't wiped up. A couple of tables cleared but not wiped. The toilet needs cleaning, lose toilet seat and the dryer wasn't working. Not busy so no excuse.

No toilets in working order, don’t warm the cups when asked. Would not top up our Costa card.

This is a terrible pricy place they discriminate against brixham college students they wouldn’t let me and my pals is the food and beverage is outstandingly terrible and the toilet are extremely filthy and the staff are rude I don’t recommend 🖤💔

Kids at the front door blocking the entrance and the server is completely focussed on them rather than the customer who wants to place an order. Seems a bit untidy inside and could do with better organisation of the tables. Coffee is good as always at Costa but ambience and atmosphere is not reflective of other better Costas.

The coffee was like any other Costa. And the caramel millionaire shortbread was as if from a bakery. Standard really. What stood out though was the service. I had a conversation with the staff and they didn't seem to hurry me along. Snd I had a lovely chst with a husband and wife about their dog whilst sat out in the sun. Really lovely morning.

update Sep 2023: late afternoon and most of the other cafe had closed, had a cinnamon bun and mocha. she had a hazelnut and maple muffin which apparently was delicious but I didn't get a look in ☹️☺️. I enjoyed my bun. May 2023: taking a break from the pirates! good friendly service and mocha

The tables weren't very clean but the coffee is good. I wasn't very impressed with the cakes/bakes selection either. I should mention the lady that served me was extremely polite and smiley

Brixham Costa is our families favourite Costa. It so welcoming. On days when it feels grey we always go there for a cheer up. The manager goes out of her way to ask you how you are and genuinely cares. We've never been attached to a big chain but this little coffee shop is home. Thank you to Charlie, Sharon and all the staff.

Very Professional staff, polite and courteous at all times. Food beverages all perfect as you would expect.

I recently went to this Costa and the staff were absolutely lovely! They were incredibly helpful to me and other customers despite it getting quite busy, and everything was done well.

I'm definitely a Costa girl and this is a good location. Staff are really nice and helpful, and there's a food atmosphere. Would love to see some more of the vegan food options here though!

Greeted with a warm welcome from man behind bar and drinks were made really quickly and tasted lovely. However, we had to wait a while for the toast we had ordered and we were then served someone else’s order who had ordered after us. We were spoken to rather rudely by a female server there who abruptly stated ‘it will be a minute!’ when we asked if she knew how long ours would be. We understood it was busy there but we were quite disappointed to be spoken to in such a tone after having waited so long.

I come here every Sunday for a take out coffee. The Sunday ladies are lovely, always friendly with a warm welcome and smile on their faces and never flustered by large amounts of customers. The coffee is always good and they encouraged me to get the Costa App to earn beans as I go to exchange for rewards. 10/10 thanks ladies x

The main bugbear is that glasses for latte were not warmed first, so the coffee isn't as hot as it should be. This seems to happen a lot here, especially when it's busy. But, it shouldn't happen. Other branches still warm glasses as usual, even when they are busy. So I've no idea why this branch doesn't. All I know is that the coffee we get when this branch is busy, is disappointingly just warm and goes cold really quickly.

Can I just say, costa is a chain, but the young woman here act like it’s their pride and joy and THAT is lovely to see, I came in with my baby, still quite anxious of space (covid) and had to seat him to eat his lunch while I ordered some for myself, a wonderful half hour peace and quiet after great service and really polite smiles as they walked by to freshen tables etc, as the world went by I couldn’t help notice how polite and cheery they were to every single customer which you don’t see much these days, well done ladies you are doing Costa proud with attitudes like that.

Loved coming to this Costa so much, the service was absolutely fantastic, these employees were so wonderful, made me and my family feel more than welcome every time we came in, coffee was great, and food was good. Can't wait until I visit Brixham just for these employees, they are excellent and very hard working.

Slightly away from busy crowds of maskless fish & chip trippers this place was great, calm & civilised.

The girls are friendly, the service good and decent coffee plus air conditioning which in the heat keeps you cool! Very pleasant visit.

Like many local people, we were really looking forward to visiting our regular (before COVID) Costa Coffee in Brixham, and were delighted to get the chance to do this recently. Found the new manageress very surly/brusque, even downright RUDE after her response to our friendly greeting was just a 'snapped' order/instruction with no 'please' or 'thank you' at all. The other lady that served us at the till was as lovely as always but the manageress's attitude to us, as paying customers, left a lot to be desired. We've tried hard to support our local Brixham businesses but, we will be finding a new regular Costa in future.

I come in at least once a week and everytime i do the staff are so friendly and happy to serve you. The food and drinks are great especially the new Sasauge and onion toasties yum! The tables are set out to perfect social distance the staff work very hard to keep the standards high which you can see and they take pride in there work. Well done keep it up 😁

Entered the store at 1650 to buy a Tuna Panini (they close at 1700). We were told that “the oven is off”, so we weren’t allowed to buy one. We could see that there were actually Tuna Paninis peeking tantalisingly from behind a little curtain pulled down across the counter. Are you open until 1700 or not? Is it just selective items that are available at that time? Give us a clue! Anyway, we are forgiving, so we went back the next day, at about 1500. This time they didn’t have Tuna Paninis at all! How am I to fuel this Tuna Panini obsession, Costa? Do Starbucks do them? I’ll give them a go next time.

We visited Costa Brixham on a Wednesday lunchtime in August 2020 and took advantage of the 50% off promotion. Three lovely Lattes for just over £3! Bargain. Medium size is more than enough as well. Comfortable clean table and was nice to relax and get in from the rain.

Unclear dog signage. Not welcome with a dog - got asked to leave. Won't be visiting again - their loss.

We stopped off for a quick coffee but ended up staying a lot longer and had more coffee and cake the staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble the latte was lovely we had a cold drink as well and was offered a glass with it normally you just get the bottle what a lovely change its such a clean shop the loos are spotless always a good sign the food will be goodThe staff very welcoming and friendlysuitable for all ages Thank you

Perfect coffee and a place to sit in the sun and watch the world go by. However the offer for coffee for £1 was very misleading as you only qualified for this if you had spent £10

I popped. In for a coffee on Monday 13 .two brillant .funny and well mannered staff .brillant customer service .two ladies was on the counter .one with glassess and a small tattoo on the right arm The other slightly taller .fantastic costa coffee shop

Impressed with this little coffee shop in Brixham that accommodated our lactose free diet with soya milk. Friendly stAff and lovely clean premises. Would highly recommend a visit here.

It was only a pit stop, but offered a clean well kept eatery, with a warm welcome and well made drinks.

Went in today at 3:30 pm to have a coffee, ordered 2 lattes to drink in but owing to the fact that half of the place had already been closed up (par for the course at this place, Winter or Summer hours!), and the only table available was covered in cup, saucers and plates, we decided to have them as take-outs instead. We were not happy to get home to find that we had one latte and one flat white - it would have been much cheaper (and better) to have gone home and made our own!! The staff are generally not very helpful or interested in their work - they didn’t even bother to ask if we had a Costa card!! This is not the first time we have had a less than inspiring experience at this branch but we are thinking it will now be our last!!

The welcome was cold, there was no smile or welcoming words, no bread for toast, and my drink could not be made the way I wanted as the server had, I quote "done it for many years and should know". Rude, curt, and unwelcoming, and not up to the usual good customer care and standards of Costa.

On the last two occasions I have ordered latte and multigrain toast. Both times the toast has only been toasted on one side. The first time I told them and they toasted it again on both sides. Today it happened again and when I pointed out that toast should be toasted on both sides they blamed the ‘oven’ and said if I wanted it toasted on both sides then I should ask! I thought the idea was that if you asked for toast then it would be toasted on both sides. I also had to ask if they would warm the glass for the latte (which in my experience they usually do) as sometimes the drink isn’t very hot. Even though this is my local Costa I will not be returning.

I have to agree with other reviews this is the best Costa I have been in. The staff were very friendly . It's a nice clean and well laid out Cafe you weren't packed in like sardines. The staff seemed to know the locals and remembered what they had to drink. and they even looked after the customers who sat outside with their dogs. Will recommend this Costa to my friends if they visit Brixham.

One of the nicest Costas I've used. Great coffee, smiley service and spotlessly clean. The thing I especially liked was that the interior wasn't overly packed with tables... there was some space!

I agree with a recent reviewer. I love a good flat white coffee. At this Costa, they suggested an optional specialist coffee blend for the day and it was very good. A medium roast, no bitterness at all, packed with flavour and the flat white was carefully prepared. Agreed, they were not too busy and so could take time, but the skill was there. I took advantage of a 50% off a double chocolate cookie at that time of the afternoon, so I felt very well treated. I will happily go again.

I have been to this costa a couple of times. Each time I have been greeted with a smile and very friendly staff. The service is very quick and the coffee is made just the way I like it.

I’ve been in hundreds of Costa Coffee shops but this one takes some beating, the girl who served I can’t remember her name was so helpful and cheerful, she had long hair tied back and eye glasses, After placing our order she actually told us to go and sit down and she would very kindly bring the coffees over to our table. I thought that was very kind and a nice touch. The coffee was lovely very fresh and nice and hot.

Lunchtime so my wife and I decided to take advantage of the meal deal which was a ham and cheese toasted sandwich crisps and coffee.

My wife and I called in for afternoon coffee and cake and met with friendly helpful staff. However later on two tables close to us were taken by several young school age girls who bought nothing and held a meeting chatting and laughing. All well if they were customers but clearly not.

Whilst Costa Coffee is part of the chain, the ambience and service in this particular branch are very good with cheerful, helpful staff, excellent coffee and a good range of snacks.

Well we were in brixham we fancied a hot chocolate so we stopped in Costa.. We had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was very nice.. Staff were friendly.. Tables were clean and tidy.

My wife and I used this Costa Coffee a number of times whilst on holiday in Brixham 12 to 26 May2017. The cafe is clean and has friendly and polite staff. As with all Costa cafes you have a large and varied menu to choose from. At times the tables could have been cleared quicker after customers had left but other wise no complaints

Being on the main shopping street in Brixham, this place was very busy.

After a long walk I saw the sign of my favourite coffee shop and had to get my coffee fix.

We had lovely coffees here, it was very busy but staff were still very polite, efficient and still had time to have a little chat with us as we were being served. They really did work hard as queues eased quickly! Well done guys!

The Baristas worked hard fulfilling everyone's orders in this busy Costa. Everyone wanted food and drinks but with only three staff on to make drinks, prepare and deliver food and clear the tables. The staff were friendly enough but I am sure they would have liked a bit more time instead of having to rattle through orders.

I haven't used Costs Coffee for a while, but receiving mail saying I had been missed I ventured back only to find they only supply and overpriced toastie etc. I have been using G Coffee 1 better value teacakes to die for and better value coffee. On this isit not only no crumpet but my latte was half a cup of froth, there was a time Costa led the field but are now a very poor third, they need to shape up

Visited with friends for coffee and snack. Friendly service although very slow, which tends to be across the board with Costa.

Stopped here for a much needed rest with my family and couldn't believe that even though the cafe wasn't that busy, we had to fight to find a clean table while waitresses were just standing around chatting.

Popped into Costa for drink and snacks whilst visiting Brixham harbour. The two girls serving were great, really friendly despite being rushed off their feet. Food and drink was up to the usual high standards that you would expect from this cafe chain.

Find a Costa, find the best coffee by far, as well as great service and brilliant food. This is a small costa compared to many towns but the service and quality were outstanding

We popped in here one morning late in March. Had a Cappuccino and cheese and ham toastie. It did the trick and hit the spot. Was relaxed inside and looked the kind of place you could chill with a coffee. Staff were friendly and there was plenty of seating. Good to see that Brixham has a Costa Coffee.

It was very busy is town and needed a break so we managed to get a table in Costa. Staff taking the order were polite and we waited for the rest of our order while at our table. I have never experienced this sort of service before, waitress comes over and drops the plate on our table turns and walks away saying enjoy. I have been in here a few times and its always been pleasant so i can only assume this was a one off.
