The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

I normally only leave a review when I’m really not happy but I have now tried every Indian takeout in Littlehampton and Rustington this is by far the best !! Thank you very much

Excellent chicken Bhoona, best in town. Five stars

It was very quiet when we went here for dinner but the food was good, and the menu was different to the 'standard' Indian restaurant. I'll be going back.

Ordered from here and won’t be doing again, food missing from my order and items I did get were wrong - not what I had ordered.

We ordered on the 14th Jan through uber eats. My delivery came in a decent time but near enough As soon as we opened the food we’d noticed it was raw and undercooked. We got 2 curries and a portion of chicken pakoras as my partner bit into the chicken pakoras they were pink in the middle (every single one of them) so we threw them away and then when we started to dish out our curries. I checked the chicken to make sure they were okay and most pieces of the chicken inside were again pink. I didn’t report this to the restaurant at the time cause I reported it to uber who I ordered through but they’re fobbing me off. I won’t be ordering from here again as it cost me 53 pounds to throw it away

The best Indian food I’ve had in recent years. The prawn puree starter was particularly well presented and very tasty. Much recommended.

Memories of india has dramatically improved since changing ownership....I believe it has a new chef and team now. Highly recommend here now. I had a delivery...tandoori cocktail and madras curry

Very disappointed that the restaurant, which serves excellent food, has stopped serving alcohol. The management response that it is a result of Brexit and that the majority of other Indian restaurants have done the same is respectively incomprehensible and untrue. In fact, I was told by the manager himself that it is due to the religious preferences of one of the owners.

Brilliant curry, even made a garlic chilli chicken masala despite not being on the menu and was spot on. Good atmosphere and good price, cannot complain

Was my first time trying this place, food was delicious! Will definitely be returning soon, my new favourite Indian spot.

Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala with mushroom rice for a main coarse. Starters Poppadoms and salad were good. Unfortunately the main meal was very poor, no taste to it and very sloppy. Was expecting better.

Had a table for 2 on a Friday night, only 2 other tables had customers and they appeared to be waiting for food. The guy that showed us to the table went into the kitchen and we didn't see him again, there was a young lad at the desk who seemed clueless, we weren't offered drinks and it took ages to even just get a menu and the other 2 tables were still waiting for food. So we walked out and went across the road to Jinnah's which was fantastic. Don't waist your time here.
