Great service, but food was not a patch on the Raj

Food as always top notch, delivered on time, BUT portion size has been halved, was so disappointed when we opened trays, same expensive price for half the food, will not order again.

I’ve tried many Indian restaurants, but this one stands out. Delicious, great food with beautiful presentation. The environment is soothing with soft music and lights. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great experience at an even better price.

4 de nosotros necesitábamos un lugar para comer después de asistir a un funeral. Tuve la tarea de encontrar un restaurante indio y elegí el Raj Mahal en primer lugar en las reseñas, en segundo lugar en la elección del menú y, por último, la ubicación de nuestros hoteles. Éramos comensales tempranos, pero decir que éramos los únicos comensales en ese momento era una clara ventaja. Tuvimos toda la atención. La comida era excelente. Uno de nuestro grupo acaba de ser capaz de empezar a comer cocina india, así que estaba un poco nervioso sobre qué pedir, pero nuestra camarera y el propietario eran muy serviciales. Si no fuera por el hecho de que vivíamos en Northumberland y las fronteras escocesas, definitivamente sería un refugio regular. Bien hecho todos ustedes. Después de un día emotivo nos levantaste por completo.

Some confusion caused by review of Stephen B of 3rd March but it was plain when I came by yesterday 17.10 .19 it was all locked, dark and plainly had not reopened or showing any signs of doing so.

booked a table weeks ago, they called me to ask if I wanted to bring forward, I said no as its planned event, so they said see you in 2 weeks.... didn't bother to tell me it was closing! luckilly another restaurant could take the booking .

Ordered for delivery worth £27 on a day when the takeaway was open. After 2 hours and no food, called the restaurant (31 times in total). They claimed it had been delivered initially, which it hadn't. Then said the driver had delivered it "somewhere else". No delivery was made and they are now refusing the chargeback because "this is a take away" apparently is an excuse that TSB accept.

Went for a Sunday afternoon. There was singing from a group there. By the fire, good bar choice & service. Do try the Crisps & the various shaken flavours! Spudos !!

Loved the mixed grill! The chicken was super tender and delicious! Recommend
