Taste Of Nawab

Coppetts, Barnet, 20-30£
17/08/2019: Had to visit after reading all the reviews and we were definitely not disappointed. Really good food, we live locally and it is by far the best. No problem bringing our own bottle of wine, the staff were very kind and helpful.
16/08/2019: This was my second time eating at Taste of Nawab and again it was a lovely experience. The food tasted great and the staff are amazing and very attentive! It’s reasonably priced too, will definitely be eating here again.

Indian Room

Balham, Wandsworth
17/08/2019: I have been wanting to visit this place for a long time. Why did I wait so long. This place is amazing. Best curry in a long time. I will certainly be going back.
13/08/2019: Really authentic Indian food in Balham, the staff are excellent, especially Ringku who made us feel at home! Will definitely be back or ordering delivery very soon!

Dishoom Shoreditch

Haggerston, Hackney, 20-30£
17/08/2019: My family and I were on a brief holiday in London and visited this lovely restaurant twice. The food was tasty and filling but the main reason for our second visit was down to the absolutely wonderful waiting staff who went out of their way for us. My daughter is allergic to nuts and they handled this not only with efficiency and care but also went to great lengths to reassure us that they were taking it seriously and pointing out exactly what she could eat and what to avoid.
16/08/2019: Unbelievable! Dishoom truly never disappoints. I have brought every visitor I’ve ever had to dishoom and it is truly the best dining experience of all time. There is nothing on the menu that doesn’t delight and inspire curiosity. Truly just happy dishoom exists as it is a joy to experience.

Indian Express. West Kensington

Avonmore and Brook Green, Hammersmith and Fulham
16/08/2019: Pequeño restaurante, no tan fácil de encontrar, ya que está ubicado en una calle lateral de West Kensington, puede ser muy recomendable. Disfrutamos tanto de la cena que fuimos allí dos veces.
14/08/2019: This small restaurant was near our hotel and provided delicious, fragrant food with vivid flavors. We had chutnies for a starter and then Indian Express special chicken for one main course and lamb biriyani (a Bangladeshi specialty) for a second main. To go with all this excellent food we had a potato and eggplant dish as a side. Despite the quality of the other dishes, the eggplant would have been the best dish if we had gotten it as a main course! All dishes were outstanding and different. They offer no alcohol but also no corkage fee. Our server (probably the owner) told us we could go to Sainsbury right down the street if we needed anything with alcohol and bring it back. We were lazy so we got the good sparkling lemonade instead.

Kilburn, Brent
16/08/2019: Anjanaas was very highly rated on TripAdvisor and it didn’t disappoint. Not the best I’ve ever tasted but it’s not your average high street Indian. Chicken Tikka starter was nicely cooked and ok, but the main course lamb with “gravy” (not sauce) rice and flakey bread was super.
15/08/2019: Visited on a Saturday evening for dinner and we started with a selection of chicken tikka, chilli paneer, cauliflower masala, all very tasty. Mains were the usual curries,of which the madras curry looked fiery and was very hot. Another dish we tried was the lamb and spinach in gravy, which did not appear that appetising and tasty. Lemon and pilau rice with a portion of appam were all served piping hot. Service very friendly.Red and white wines were drinkable. The desserts which consisted of gulab jamun served with ice cream was delicious, along with the mango and pistachio kulfi and rice vermicelli pudding.

Cinnamon Culture

Plaistow and Sundridge, Bromley, 45-60£
11/08/2019: My husband and I went for the first time last week. The service was excellent, and the food was delectable. The wine was also delicious. It isn't as cheap as many other restaurants in the area but you definitely get what you pay for here, the quality is outstanding and the portions are generous.
11/08/2019: Fabulous food as ever at a great Indian restaurant. We went to celebrate a family members Birthday. One of which is vegan, however this did not stop the restaurant producing fabulous food for everyone. The owner is always pleasant and even remembers you by name.

Hayes and Coney Hall, Bromley
16/08/2019: I went here to pick up a takeaway when visiting my brother. I want to pick it up the whole restaurant and take it back to Hull! The staff were lovely, even offering me a drink while I waited. I didn't wait too long despite it being busy and that I had not pre-ordered and the food was piping hot and gorgeous. My sister-in-law tells me that they're very community minded too. Can't wait to go back - even with a five hour drive!
11/08/2019: This restaurant is local to us but I would happily travel several miles to it. We tried some things which were a little different for us and to say we were not disappointed would be a massive understatement. It was absolutely beautiful. The service was as ever spot on. It’s not a curry house it’s so much more, the Indian cuisine was simply amazing.

Northcote, Wandsworth
16/08/2019: We both agreed that for the price you could not expect anything much better than this. Food was very tasty and the service exemplary. Wish it was near our home!
15/08/2019: Not sure why I haven’t been here before! We loved it, food was great, service too and not too pricey either. What’s not to love?!

Dishoom King's Cross

St Pancras and Somers Town, Camden
17/08/2019: Despite being noisy and the tables a little too close, this is a great place to sample some amazing food from India.. Our server Fadil 474 enhanced the experience by guiding us through the large menu and give great advice on quantities and spices. Well worth a visit
17/08/2019: We had visitors from the USA and took them to Dishoom Kings Cross for dinner. Food was excellent as was the service and all at very reasonable prices. If you're looking for something refreshingly different this is the place.

Dishoom Covent Garden

St James's, City of London,Westminster, 20-30£
16/08/2019: We reached there at 5:30pm on Thur. it’s a long queue with 30 ppl in Q. The waitress explained the Q time may take at max70 mins and finally we got the seat within 30 mins. Not bad in expectation management. We are served with some drinks Chai or Lemonade when waiting in Q.
16/08/2019: Lovely food and great service. Highly recommend coming here. One tip, book in advance to avoid queueing for hours.

The Sitara

Junction, Islington
15/08/2019: afterbeing in abudhabi for several days,I am always looking for the good indian food and here it comes to deal with our best.very authentic and delicious food like an india.we really enjoyed the food.
17/07/2019: This is THE best indian restaurant in London. We tell all our friends to go there and enjoy the food. It's not too heavy, the service is great and I love the family run atmosphere.

Pure Indian Cooking

East Putney, Wandsworth, 20-30£
03/08/2019: Ordered the onion bhaji, khade masale, and garlic naan to take back to my nearby hotel. All were exceptionally good!
02/08/2019: Stunning food. I eat s log of Indian food but this was by far the best. Lovely service and waiter was very informative about the food . Highly recommended.

Hampstead Town, Camden
31/07/2019: Chefs Imran Khan and Felix Fernandes produced a delicious Indian meal. Every dish had it's own distinctive flavours, and every dish was a delight. Not to mention a lovely setting and friendly, attentive service.
17/07/2019: Great little restaurant in the quiet of Belsize village but near enough the hustle and bustle of Haverstock Hill to be worth a detour. Excellent fish and plenty of choice between meat and vegetarian dishes.Friendly but not intrusive staff.

Sipson Tandoori Restaurant

Heathrow Villages, Hillingdon, >100£
06/08/2019: We visited on a Wednesday evening and expected it to be really quiet but the restaurant was busy the whole time we were there. This did not stop the staff giving us their best attention suggesting dishes and checking on whether we were enjoying a meal. We had various vegetable dishes and chicken and lamb dishes. All the dishes we had were lovely and one of our party took home a chilli chicken dish for a family member who could not attend and they really enjoyed it. They will adjust the spiciness of the meal to suit your taste buds so do not be afraid to ask. I would definitely recommend this restaurant from and will definitely go back.
05/08/2019: My meal was delicious, will come back. Great service and recommendation by Abdua. Close to Heathrow Airport

Chennai Srilalitha Veg Restaurant

Kenton West, Harrow, 20-30£
13/08/2019: Just went to this restaurant. Extremely rude female waitress who ruined the entire experience. The sambar was cold and the dosa was floppy. When mentioned to the female waitress that the dosa wasn’t crispy enough. she claimed it was because another customer in the same restaurant a few minutes ago found his dosa too crispy so they made our one floppy!!! I mean what sort of logic is that. Never going there again !!!
10/08/2019: Authentic south Indian food. Fast service. Ambience is very basic. If you like idli, dosa sambar etc then you will like this place. They do an all day buffet with freshly made dosa's on demand.
