Mother's Day lunch & Spice Deli's roasted aubergine 🍆 salad was a requested must-have 😋. Secured our big box with Tarun the day before to avoid disappointment & yes, again, it was a huge winner! Decant to two dishes & take credit😅. (Roasted aubergine, yoghurt & tumeric dressing, pomegranates & more...). So delicious. A great addition to roasts / anything!. Thank you again, Spice Deli

We have been going here for years. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the good is special snd very tasty. Try the chai brownies- my kids’ favourite. It gives much more flavour to the brownie and is highly recommended

Tasty, a lovely space and service! Independent cafe like you don’t see every day. The avocado sandwich was surprisingly tasty, not like any other crashed avo I had before 🔥

As a special treat I often drop in to this perfect cafe/deli because their coffee (all types) is simply the best - not too strong, not too bitter but really excellent coffee. I resolve to be strong but cannot resist the wonderful homemade goodies on display, including some truly memorable cakes with coconut, banana bread, and many other alluring treats. I recommend going there but on foot as there is very little parking nearby.

Just another five-star rating - I wish I could give it more. I had arranged to meet a friend at the Garden Cafe next door. I got there first - it was packed and the noise was appalling. All the tables were so close together that there was no sense of privacy. I met my friend and she suggested the Spice Deli next door. It was superb. Really friendly, peaceful and spotlessly clean. But it's the food that counts and that was outstanding - nothing just routine but delightful creative dishes that were made with love and tasted like nectar from the heavens. I can't wait to go back.

Local cafe and deli, with seating downstairs and some seating upstairs and on the street. Excellent coffee and drinks, excellent cakes and cookies (flourless chocolate cake for eg). They also serve a variety of delicately flavoured, well prepared salads which are way better than the norm and what you'd expect. Everything here seems carefully sourced (try the sourdough) and thoughtfully prepared making the place very much stand out from the crowd. The host is very welcoming too. A touch on the expensive side, but worth it for the quality. A local gem.

We went for Sunday brunch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Upstairs they sell a selection of baked goods and the cafe is downstairs. I very rarely eat brunch and wasn’t hungry so I asked for a poached egg on toast and got two eggs beautifully cooked. My only complaint is it was cold, as was the plate. The coffee was nice and the crockery was pretty. Wouldn’t mind to try the Indian items later in the day. My husband thought the shakshuka was a bit small.

My favourite local cafe in Hampstead/Belsize park/Swiss cottage/ West Hampstead area. Always come here and the people who work here are great. Food always has a nice personal touch and is high quality. It’s like it’s own little world when you go downstairs. Very different to most cafes round here. For passers by I’d recommend the smoothies.

I have visited Spice Deli regularly over the summer as I have been working nearby. I've been blown away by delicious food and the best coffee I've had anywhere, not to mention the great service. I will definitely continue to visit as often as I can. Highly recommended!

Absolute gem of a place - one of my favourite places to visit for coffee, brunch, take-away salad lunches and cake, of course. The food is amazing, innovative and flavourful. And all the staff are wonderful. I’m so glad they have been able to remain open and continue to serve the community through these difficult times. Thanks Tarun and all your staff :-)

My favourite local eatery has managed well with take aways during Covid. My new addiction is the tahini chocolate cookie. Divine. Coffee superb. Tarun & girls lovely. The take away salads are wonderful as are the spice lamb or sweet potato bakes. The chilli jam in a jar makes a great gift... fab with cheddar or cold cuts. And far more interesting than a bottle, flowers or box if chocs from Waitrose! Ok I'm a huge fan, just sad we can't pop downstairs for brunch just yet. I would order shakshuka & a side of merguez!!!! And a glass it two! They do have a couple of tables outside, if you're quick. Support our had working locals. All food & cakes home made, plenty if allergy free choices. Xxx
