Excellent service from the team and food was off the scale! Quality!!!

Was very lovely, there will always be a queue but always worth a wait, little loud sometimes and depending where you sit depends on the atmosphere, but is always nice and food lovely and not too pricy sometimes small portions.

Excellent North Indian restaurant & bar! Reasonably priced for a London hotspot, incredible food, plenty of choices and combinations, all food is served in no particular order and is designed for sharing. Fantastic atmosphere and service, shout-out to our host, Rui. Always busy, be prepared to queue outside for a table, it's definitely worth the wait! No street parking outside, as located in a pedestrian zone, however there is a multi-level carpark nearby and street parking on the adjacent blocks is free after 18:30 Monday-Friday.

Rather pricey but enjoyable. Was packed at 5pm on a Tuesday. The toilets felt like they were a different terminus and involved going down flights of stairs. Try not to sit upstairs!! Went for the pale ale as it was less bloaty.

Absolutely delicious, super fun concept. For people with weak taste buds like me, careful: spice level is not really mentioned enough on the menu. But they do give you a portion of yogurt if it is too much!

I have been waiting for the opportunity to go here for ages and I managed to squeeze it in on a recent trip to London. I didn’t think it lived up to the hype, the lamb chops were gorgeous and were the best dish for me, we got a selection of the popadoms, chicken tikka, bhel puri and a couple of other bits. It was a bit on the spicy side for me, and I think it’s pricey for what it was. Great atmosphere and setting though so was worth a visit

This place is amazing! You have to taste the chocolate chai ✨ The food was delicious, special thanks to Petra and Alexia, two wonderful waitresses, who gave us a lot of advice as I'm a begginer at Indian food. We will come back very soon, thanks a lot!

Absolutely loved the place! The ambience was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and the staff were simply amazing. What else can you ask for? The experience reminded me so much of the charming Irani cafés in Colaba, Mumbai. I definitely preferred the King’s Cross location over Covent Garden’s—felt more authentic and relaxed. Will definitely visit again and recommend it to friends!

It is also good for visiting elementary school families. The staff are friendly and the food is good. And the surroundings are nice, so you can go there for a picnic.

Spacious with nice ambience restaurant, always busy whenever you visit them. Serving variety of Indian food. Waiting time for your order is pretty quick. Superb service from their staffs from receptionist till the one whose taking orders & they’re explaining the menu so well. The food are amazingly delicious. Love to recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. Come here many times and get addicted with the food.

Incredible food and lightning-fast service—easily one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried across Europe. The flavors were 100% authentic, with just the right spice levels to match traditional Indian taste. Here’s what we tried: Jackfruit Biryani – 5/5 Chilli Chicken – 5/5 Rumali Roti – 5/5 Chicken Kathi Roll – 4/5 (tasty, but slightly different from a classic kathi roll—mainly due to the sauce) Cocktail: Bombay Bellini – Absolutely delicious, but the portion was really small. Overall, while the portion sizes were on the smaller side, the outstanding flavors, quick service, and overall experience make this a solid 5/5. Truly a star-class restaurant.

The food at Dishoom is completely overrated. I ordered poppadoms for the starter, and they were more like crisps. I asked if they were made fresh on site, and the waiter said they were poured out from a crisp packet. This is absolutely disgraceful considering the price. All the curries we ordered tasted the same. The prawn dish was massively overpriced for the amount of prawns you actually get. Don't believe the hype about this place!

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service was outstanding. Our waiter Nasir was warm, polite and attentive and made us feel welcome and like we were back home. It's rare to find a restaurant that combines great food and warm hospitality so perfectly. 5 of us. Eating crazy good Indian food. And using a keychain that got us a chance to roll a 6 sided dice and land a 6 for a free meal. And luck would have it! We rolled a 6! The entire $200 lunch was free. Loved the curries here. Broccoli appetizer salad was fire good!

This restaurant is massive. There is basement, ground, first and 2nd floor. I went on Eid day and restaurant was jam packed and people queuing outside. Luckily I had reservation. Food is amazing like their other branches. The special dish is Nulli Nehari Biryani which is my fav.

The menu has changed since I last visited - it definitely wasn't the wow experience I've had before. There were some high points- gunpowder potatoes and 3d poppadoms with delicious mango chutney. But sadly everything else was a bit dull.

The best chai (bottomless) I have ever tasted, kind and thoughtful service and delicious food. I would recommend to reserve in advance, as we waited for half an hour to get in. But even the while we were waiting outside, we got free chai and an umbrella as it started to rain. Very very kind

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Fabulous place. Waited a while to get in but were kept updated as to timings and given a drink in the queue. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Anticipating our needs and advising on the menu. We had to wait a while for dessert but the staff were great about it and refunded the desserts and invited us back for breakfast. Such a friendly place with the most delicious food and atmosphere.

After all the hype on social media and Travel shows, we decided to try Dishoom at Kings Cross and boy was it a masterclass in understanding how social media can be deceiving. The restaurant is just fluff and overhype with mediocre Indian food at obnoxious prices. We ordered the vadapav, Chicken Tikka, House Black Daal and The Britania Biryani. A single vadapav is GBP 6.50 which should give you an idea of the ridiculous prices in this place. The pav was stale and the vada was slightly burnt. The chicken tikka tasted nothing like what a chicken tikka should taste. The daal and the Britania were decent but nothing to write home about. This restaurant is perfect for people who have little to no experience with Indian Food but for a local of Mumbai like myself, I would never return and waste my money.

Went here for breakfast after lots of recommendations. We were not disappointed. After a short wait we were taken to our cosy table. Masala chai was ordered and served immediately. Lots of vegetarian items on the Breakfast Menu. We ordered the fire toast, chaana puri/Halwa and eggs on cheesy toast. All cooked to order and tasted sublime. The chai always was the star of the shoe. Service was faultless especially by Antik. Nothing was too much. Washrooms were colonial style but well maintained. Will return soon🙂

If you want to have a delicious lunch, then you definitely should visit this place. The delicious cuisine and friendly staff leave warm emotions. It should be noted that the interior is very atmospheric. I recommend you to visit.

We loved the Naan, lamb and chicken

Great (tasting) food, great service, great atmosphere. Shame about the diarrhoea and vomiting that effected our party of four. When reported the next morning we were asked if we perhaps came to the restaurant already ill. Haven't given one star because the meal itself was banging TBF.

I would have given big fat Zero if there was an option to do that. What was supposed to be an excellent quality Awadh Lamb biryani was instead clustered stale and flavourless rice with nothing in it, barely any traces of lamb and everything was cold and disgusting and that all for £19. Shame on you Dishoom! As I rang the King's Cross Dishoom branch to complain about the order and the manager (John) as he didn't want to give me his full name, unapologetically and shamelessly put all the blame on Deliveroo. He said Dilveroo has their own kitchens. So why are we getting food sent to us with Dishoom King's X bag? Awful service, Stale disgusting food with barely any traces of lamb to be found. Avoid Dishoom. Worst food ever.
