Dishoom King's Cross in Camden

Dishoom King's Cross is a fantastic spot for flavorful Indian food! The Wrestler's Naan Roll was delicious, and the house chai tea was perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. I would definitely recommend it!

First time at Dishoom In London. Loved it! Food exceptional and the decor of the whole place is amazing, bombay vibes! Will be coming back to Dishoom, will try our local Manchester Dishoom next time. P.s come to Leeds!!!

Service has gone really down. One saying one thing, another one something else. Food portions have reduced a lot and many foods have cheaper ingredients now than before but higher price like Bau Bhaji -full of onion now rather than other veg.

Samar was our waiter and he was the best! He made us and our 1 year old baby feel so special. Baby Daniel got his babyccino first along and we were able to settle him well. I had ordered the porridge for baby Daniel and was using a table spoon to feed him and Samar (without asking) brought a teaspoon, just to make Daniel more comfortable. Going to a restaurant with a baby is always scary but we wanted to come to Dishoom because we come here every year for our anniversary and this time was our first with our little baby. But Samar made us relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Dishoom was on my friend's bucket list to try while we were in London. I think we did the best possible thing and went there at 11:45 pm after finishing a tour. There was no wait, we got seated immediately, and the food came out in literally 10 mins! We ordered the fish amritsari, the chicken berry Britannia biryani, and the ruby chicken with a roomali roti. The food was great! Our absolute favorite was the chicken berry Britannia biryani. The dum was wonderfully done and when you opened it up, the aromas of the biryani enthralled every single smell and taste receptor. The accompanying salan and raita were fantastic and the spice level was on the hotter side, which was perfect for us! The chicken was tender and spiced up which we loved. The fish amritsari was nice and crispy and the accompanying chutney was delicious. It could've been done with less oil overall as after a few bites, we definitely started feeling the weight of the food we had ordered. The ruby chicken was fine. Nothing wrong with it, but since this is one of their signature dishes, I expected to be vowed by it and I was not. I also felt that there was a tomato powder used in the curry because the taste reminded me of the instant tomato soup from Maggie or Knorr. The chicken was fine, but yeah, the curry wasn't up to my expectations. The roomali was less of a roomali, more of a thin large roti. Nothing wrong with that, but roomali in India is obviously very different so again, my expectations were very different. I also had the Bombay Bellini because of its kokum hint. The kokum was just a hint. You can actually add more of it! The people who order this drink usually order it because they like kokum so please don't be stingy about it! The pricing is actually quite reasonable but I do think they should charge more for that biryani. I paid approximately the same amount for the ruby chicken and the biryani and we know who the winner was and by miles!! The servers were all nice. The tables are small and the whole place is very dark, which takes away a little bit from the whole experience. We had a good time but we've heard that the wait time here can be up to 2 hours and I can safely tell you that this food, while being very good, is not worth a 2 hour wait. So try to stop by when you can be seated quickly or look for a different option.

I booked our group for Xmas meal. I assumed I was going to receive a festival veggie course, but it was your usual food. Bit disappointed, but your food & restaurant is amazing, so can’t complain, hence the 5star review.

Good place for Indian food, but need to improve in the food quality as per the menu pricing which they are charging. Otherwise the rest is all good. To avoid waiting for long hours: go before 5:00 pm or after 8:30 pm.

Has breakfast here this morning and it was great! Really quick service and yummy phone, really friendly waiter (he was Irish but didn't get his name) who made the experience even better! We've been for breakfast before and it never disappoints!

I'm not a big fan of Indian food outside of India, but these guys do an amazing job of menu items and actually produce half decent food. The bar is really interesting too.

Got breakfast here! It was so delicious, especially the unlimited vegan chai! The server was so kind and attentive. She brought vegan dessert for free to acknowledge our celebration.

Had a great time wonderful place for a birthday bash and the food is always amazing. Love that's it's a 3 dining place, breakfast (hang over cures), lunch or dinner this is the one.

The most amazing food and service. Dishoom continues to excel. Ofcourse there was a wait to get a table but we were well taken care of even in the queue outside..once in...the service as always was excellent and the food superb. The cocktails were great too. The location and the surroundings itself are great too. All in all a perfect evening with friends.

If you like Indian kitchen this is the place! Very good bar also, try the own recipe whisky sour 💣

Dishoom offers a great Indian dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. However, the seating arrangements could be more comfortable. While the main dishes shine, the chaat items are average. Overall, it's a good choice for quality Indian cuisine.

Mind blowing black daal & chicken Ruby ! Kulfi is a must have dessert. It's not listed in the menu so ask for dessert menu.

While most of the food was good, there were a lot of issues because of which the whole experiment wasn't great enough to visit it again anytime soon. We went as a group of 8 colleagues, for xmas dinner. - Despite pre booking and reaching there on time, had to wait for over 20 minutes to get a table - The table was SO SMALL that once mains was served in massive serving plates, we didn't have space left at all, not even to put our plates on the table! Forget about putting hands\elbows on the table! Our drinks had to be moved elsewhere further away to make space for the serving plates! Two of us were holding our own dinner plates in our hands\lap during the whole time. That table shouldn't be given to more than 5-6 people - It was a set xmas Sharing menu and the recommended quantity was too much, and we couldn't finish 40-50% of the served food. For 8 of us, after starters - 3 platters were served for mains along with 3 turkey portions but we thought 2 platters would have been more than enough - The downstairs is dimly lit and we were barely able to see the food

Great service and food. We got the bottomless chai while waiting for the table which was delicious (bottomless chai is on til 6pm). Once seated, our waiter was lovely and attentive, ensured our chai was refilled regularly and even gave us some additional kulfi on the house. The whole experience is worthy of the price

If I want to tip, then I will voluntarily tip thank you very much, I do not want it to be added by default. Disgusting customer service policy. You are not in the US, pay your staff fairly, and customers will voluntarily tip based on the appropriate service. Nothing makes me avoid a resteraunt more than expecting extra money for exemplary service before I even arrive at the venue.

Service was brilliant lovely warm and welcoming staff and always checked in on our table, big thanks to FOH team. Grill dishes cooked to perfection, had chicken tikka,lamb chops and seekh kebabs. House chaat was nice and super flavourful but personally they should add chickpeas for it to be a little more authentic and for that extra texture. Black daal isn’t what it used to be way to creamy less flavour. The chefs special lamb nihari in rice isn’t Nihari either add authentic nihari or change the name that is my only criticism as it was disappointing and is not in anyway representing the original dish. Everything else was fantastic the chai great as always, Nimbu paani 🍋 and your chai espresso martini brilliant 🤩

Amazing place, great food. Need to book a table because is very busy so you will have to wait a 1hr outside for a table.

Good food, very busy at 11.30am on Friday in November, and we were caught between breakfast and lunch changeover but our server took care of us so we got what we wanted in exchange for a little patience. This place is always busy and acoustics amplify conversation so don’t come here for a quiet meal, come for the food and be prepared to queue.

My favourite London Dishoom. I always get the chicken tikka wrap for lunch as it's quickly prepared, tasty, light and easy to eat. Recommend reservation in advance or you could wait up to 45 mins to be seated.

Very large restaurant, with very large spaces, the menu is very varied and they offer quite a few dishes. A site of 10!
