Dar’s Tandoor & Grill is truly a fantastic restaurants, which pride themselves in authentic flavour and quality, you can really taste the spices and there portions are plentiful, everything is so fresh and delicious, the grilled chicken is one of my favourites. Milton is an asset to the restaurant, who shows great passion and service, looking after the customers and he is always friendly My sincere thanks to the chefs as well, I highly recommend this great place.

The food here is just lovely. The Keema naan is the best I’ve had by far- plenty of keema! This is a welcome place for us to eat as I have treatment at Royal Free. The pricing is great and you can bring your own alcohol. We wish Dar’s was in our home town

I recently visited Dar’s Grill with my brother, and it was our first time in the area. We were both starving and decided to give this place a try and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive which immediately made us feel comfortable. The menu had a great variety of options and it was clear that everything was made fresh. We ordered a mix of dishes to share and every bite was packed with flavour . The grilled lamb chops were cooked to perfection tender ,juicy, and seasoned just right. The sides were equally impressive the rice was fragrant . The portions were generous, and the food came out quickly . For two people who were as hungry as we were, this place more than satisfied our cravings. Overall, Dar’s Grill is a hidden gem that I’d recommend to anyone. Whether you’re new to the area or a local, this is a spot worth visiting. We left full, happy, and already planning to return

Having recently returned from India was craving a decent curry. Found Dar's, I was not disappointed, no frills, excellent Indian cuisine. Lamb vindaloo🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵 just like over there, okra, pilau, tandoori rotis. Will be back again.

Everything is great here, special shout outs to the seekh kebabs, chapali kebab, bhindi, achar chicken, keema muttar, rice and roti and naans! Avoid the fish kebabs though, sorry it came overdone and tough. But im still coming back tho!

I finally popped in to Dar’s this evening, I must say the member of staff was friendly and pleasant. I ordered a couple of kebab rolls which were done in reasonable time and I’ve got to say were better than my expectations. The kebabs were moist and tender, the naan was well made and the sauces were delicious. Really worth the money JazaakAllaah khayran

There are only a few "Indian" restaurants that serve nihari and haleem -- recommend Dars for this as well as their other excellent dishes recommended by others.

Authentic Indian food. Really tasty. You can watch the chef make and bake the nan breads in the tandoori oven from your table. Highly recommended. Maybe book in advance as it’s a small restaurant with a faithful clientele

Was here having dinner you have your chefs and waiters making jokes with each other and laughing so loud it's uncomfortable you can't even hear yourself speak. I think it is very rude and offensive if your staff behave like this while you have customers in your restaurant.

I have eaten here a few times and the food has always been exceptional. It's probably the best curry I know in London. The place is centred around good food. The decor is very modest but in a pleasant way which adds all the more to the quality of the food. A resteraunt should primarily be about food and all the other stuff comes next in my opinion. The service is great, very nice chilled waiter who I usually have when i go. The price is another stand out feature of this place, its really nice prices, especially with bring your own alcohol. I wouldn't be surprised if this place was in some chefs book about places to eat in London or something, it's really a hidden gem for sure.

Recommend and would go back! There were 7 of us and tried a variety of vegetarian and meat options. Lamb tikka, chicken seekh, panned tikka, onion bhaji, lamb shashlik, lamb bhuna, palak paneer, butter chicken, potato and aubergine. Enjoyed the items from the grill very much. The mains are cooked home style which is nice. The gajar halwa made in house was also good! The place is spotless and the service attentive without being overbearing. I haven’t rated the atmosphere as it’s a small place with a few tables. We are an amateur wine group and honed in on Dar as the BYOB place to go. It delivered!

We went to this place as it was nearby where we were staying for our trip. We went in with average expectations and were blown away by the experience. The food was delicious. We got the Nihari and a half grilled chicken. The chicken was juicy and tender with a very good glazed sauce on top. But the real star of the show was Nihari. It was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. It is difficult to find such delicious and authentic Nihari outside of South Asia. Definitely worth a visit for a casual dinner or lunch. It will blow you away!

Amazing food , recommended to taste....

Dar’s food is delicious especially meat based items. We were in Belsize park for 3 days and almost everyday we ate at Dar’s.However If you are strictly vegetarian then should avoid this place as vegetarian items has some kind of meaty smell and taste.

Ordered via deliveroo and was optimistic, having read these reviews. Samosa chaat was very good. Naans were good (keema naan particularly good) But the curries were a bit bland. They weren't bad, just not good.

Pretty decent place with good Indian food options, and just a min or 2 walk from Royal Free Hospital. They offer NHS discounts and also slot takeaways, but you need to tell them about the time. The wraps are a good option for quick bite. But, if you work nearby and have time, then grab their meal deal during the lunch time throughout the weekdays.

I came to England for 12 days mild around all over England. I found this restaurant on the street of London and was by far the best food. The best service in time I had in London.

Visiting from the U.S. and this was my favorite place I've eaten at yet. The curry was excellent!!! The Samosa Chaat was possibly the best thing I've ever eaten in my life, it was packed with so much flavor. The servers and cooks were very nice and polite. Prices were fair and it was clean and safe.

Decent Punjabi food and well-priced. The roghni naan, mango lassi and rice were perfectly prepared. My friend really enjoyed their grilled chicken. I ordered the bhuna gosht but wasn't quite satisfied with the portion size. The staff were accommodating and friendly! I would recommend going for a well-priced Punjabi meal in Hampstead

Dars Restaurant is one of my go-to places whenever I’m on duty. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great value. I will definitely keep coming back.One of the best authentic indian restaurant i’ve been to. Definitely worth a try.
